This might be an unpopular opinion, I don't know, but I've read fairly often over the years that OP characters aren't fun because "if they're so strong, they can solve every problem without much effort" and, well, I disagree.
I'm not the most articulated person—let alone in English—but I think most people do realize that even a king in an absolute monarchy is just a guy, at the end of the day, and must compose with the people around him to carry his will.
Which means political alliances.
Superman wouldn't far much better. Sure, he's strong. Sure, he could kill or maim or scare anyone in his way. But then what? What happens when people get frightened by him getting rid, one way or another, of anyone in his way? What happens when they refuse to listen to his Objectively Perfect Solution and thus get in the way of making the world better? Does he maim them too? Because that's where his strength lies, in terms of raw power. He's not a billionaire or a king or a god. He's just a really strong guy with the heart in the right place.
And I would argue that a noble in Ishgard has a better chance to make meaningful changes than a random Very Strong Adventurer.
Even if we look at the Warrior of Light, for example, they don't save the world through raw strength alone. Their real strength isn't in their combat abilities, it's in their talent for connecting with others. Killing the Bad Guy (or incapacitating him) only works because the Scions had cleared the path first and made sure that the void left by the disappearance of said Bad Guy will be filled in a way that ensures meaningful change instead of chaos.
Which, again, means political alliances.
So I don't think people should be afraid of playing an OP character, or playing with someone who has an OP character. No matter their raw strength or magical abilities, they're still just A Person. And as such—unless their Mun is really bad at roleplaying—they'll have limitation and weaknesses.

🎆 🥂 𝐻𝒶𝓅𝓅𝓎 𝒩𝑒𝓌 𝒴𝑒𝒶𝓇!!! 🥂🎆
Tumblr media
*cue piano music* another year is gone and I know no one asked for this but I wanted to take the opportunity to do a little recap and also give shoutouts to some lovely people 🥺
It’s been a rollercoaster of a year, both for me personally and also regarding the content that came out. We got some amazing stuff but sadly there was also a lot of less amazing stuff and ultimately, the quantity > quality tendency dominated once again. 2022 was the year where I decided to take a few steps back in terms of my watchlist; I have come to the realization that the more stuff I watch, the more stressed I get - both regarding the pressure of always being up to date with everything, but also the pressure of creating content around said shows. Which might be a ridiculous thing to think but I usually have a feeling of insufficiency when it comes to my content. Which is why I put a few things on the backburner this year. Additionally I have also realized I’m not willing to put up with shows anymore that are not 100% to my satisfaction. Hate-watching is something I somewhat enjoyed before and admittedly there were a few shows that I watched despite not liking them (like unforgotten night or OMSN) which was mostly due to the amusement of making fun of them lmao. But I ended up finding a lot more joy in putting my whole focus on the few shows I genuinely enjoy, instead of watching an abundance of mediocre stuff on the side. Which was why the variety of content on my blog was a little limited this year.
I took a 3 month trip to Thailand where, amongst other things, I emerged myself into the on-site fan culture and got to see a bunch of actors close-up and while that was an incredible experience, it made me realize how insanely commercialised this industry really is and how exhausting it must be for these people to always appear at these events with perfect smiles and what not. which was also part of the reason why I stepped back. I don’t want to make this sound overly dramatic but that was the vibe I got when I was there. oh and also don’t forget that time where I got shadowbanned from tumblr for almost 1 month and thought I would never get my blog back... good times 😬
However despite all, I loved creating content for the things I was passionate about over the past year and I’m looking forward to making more in the next one!
I’m gonna post a personal top10 of the shows I watched this year shortly after this post goes up. Until then, I want to talk a bit about some of my favorite people this year - I’m not good with words lmao but thank you for being you and for making this hellsite a better place djkghdf 💜

Overdue introduction post
Tumblr media
She/Her • bi/pan • AuDHD non-monogamous lady • professional tinkerer • this year I’m gonna be unstable unstoppable
If you like anything I write, please leave a comment. I do my best answer each and every one made :)
I don’t usually take requests because I came back to writing in order to let my AuDHD run wild like a toddler with a pair of scissors, completely unbound by earthly restraints. However, I do take suggestions, if you’d like to send one in my Asks.
Pen name and meaning: Tsukime Fuku or Fuku-Chan. I wanted something to resemble the owl I feel like, most of the time (I have terrible sleeping issues). Fukurou (梟) in Japanese means Owl, so I just decided to shorten it in katakana (フク). I wrote Tsukime in kanji (疲明) mixing up the gloomy and tired aspect from “Tsuki” with the bright one from “Me”. I’m a tired, gloomy, somewhat optimistic millenial owl.
My letters from the LGBTQIAP+ community: B for kissing multiple genders and A for demisexual (I can’t spell, sorry). Also, I’ve got a wife.
Where I’m from: A country well known for being God's wild random sandbox experiment 🇧🇷 For that reason, English is not my native language (you can communicate with me in Portuguese, Spanish and English. If by any chance you say something in Italian, please make it three-year-old friendly).
Current fandoms: Jujutsu Kaisen (main) and Hazbin Hotel (secondary).
Former or everlasting fandoms: Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, flanaverse, Bojack Horseman, Rurouni Kenshin, Avatar (both The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra — I’m a Korra stan), Sherlock (books, stories, and BBC Series), Steven Universe, House MD, Supernatural, and other things I’ll add as I remember them.
Favorite genres of fiction: murder/mystery (b1tch! grew up reading Sherlock), terror, horror, drama and millennial comedy / dark humor. Currently, I’ve been getting into smutty fiction and rather enjoying it. I also want to write some chick lit stories, so...
Fun(?) facts about me I had enough time to come up with, instead of nervously sweating in the middle of a date thinking about them (this might get updated regularly, but probably won't - most recent will be at the bottom of the list):
I have a deranged type of humor (it's because of my inner demons. They have many voices. One of them is Carol)
I am unhinged and shitpost like a hell spawn. That's not a fun fact, it's a warning
I'm controlled by a monkey with a typewriter that lives inside my head. It feeds off of my anxiety during the day, then gives it back to me at night. It's lovely.
My writing process goes about like this: I get an idea. It plagues my every waking moment. If I don't write it, I realistically believe it might consume me into oblivion. So I write. Should I write because it's fun? Sure. Do I write to quench the thirst for dopamine of my inner demons (that have many voices, one of them is Carol)? Absolutely.
I got diagnosed with ADHD in my early 20's, and autism in my late 20's. These were definitely my roaring 20's, and we don't talk about it.
I try to be a kind person when I can. As a lady in her late 20's with some life and trauma experience involving mental illnesses, addiction, grief, and much more, you can always DM me if by any chance you need to talk about anything. I don't bite (much).
I realized I've been chatting with an online acquaintance that lives with a 12+ hour difference. That's how fucked my sleep schedule is — you can't fuck up your sleep schedule if you have none, amiright?
I need a soundtrack for everything I'm doing. It makes talking to people in real life very difficult.
I never know what day of the month it is. It's led me to receive happy birthday's unannounced and feel very confused at the people congratulating me on "my special day". I had done nothing special. It made no sense.
I tend to write very fast. It's the monkey's fault.
My most unpopular opinion: HIMYM ending was the correct choice, and made perfect sense for Ted and Robin.
My favorite quotes in English are the ending to The Great Gatsby (“so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past”) and a tidbit from Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest (“Truth is rarely pure and never simple”).
My favorite poem of all time is "Tabacaria" by Fernando Pessoa.
Something you’ll NEVER see me writing in love stories is romanticized jealousy and possessiveness. Everyone has their thing, but that’s really not mine, and I don’t enjoy writing it. When I DO write about jealousy, I like to explore the underlying insecurity and pain behind it.
I’m here to spread the non-monogamy queer agenda.
If you read this through the end, thank you, and I'm slightly concerned for your mental well-being. Come on over and have a cup of tea.

Inviting controversy by asking a controversial question which you may feel free to ignore but. Thoughts on Karen Traviss' Star Wars books, from the old EU? I assume you've got Opinions
BOY DO I
I'll probably forget to include everything, but I've gone on an hour long Rant before and I'll do it again lmao
Okay, so the good. There is good in these books and I'll drag it out with teeth and claws if I have to.
I love Kal Skirata. You can crucify me for that if you want to, but as a daddy issues having bitch, I want him to be my dad. He's a wonderfully flawed character, and he owns up to those flaws. He's made mistakes and he's grown and he knows he isn't perfect but by god, he'll try for his boys. He fights tooth and nail to protect them from what he can, and what he can't, he'll go through hell with them (literally, I can't remember the exact wording, but it's said in Hard Contact I believe, that any training he puts his men through, he does it himself first). He's overprotective because there's so much he can't protect them from, and it's clear that he loves them with all his heart.
The clone and GAR and Mando culture building. This is a grayer area for me because there is a lot of internalized bullshit KT is dealing with that I'll talk about later, but! We wouldn't have nearly the background we do for these cultures without her books. I love most of what she did with it, from the military worldbuilding to the Mandalorian culture and the different facets of it we see through the eyes of different characters. And the language! Mando'a isn't a heavily developed conlang, but the tools are there, and it makes sense within the world. And we have music! We have songs.
I love the characters. There are gray areas, no one is perfect, and they all get down and dirty when things call for it. They love each other deeply and make good and bad decisions, they're realistic. The relationships are tender and gentle, and I love the interactions between everyone, the loyalty and the devotion, and the overarching feeling of grief because we know how this ends.
The clones! I love them! They are wonderful and well developed, and I love hearing their thoughts on everything, and their bond with one another and those around them. I'm not coherent about this one because I think about them for five seconds and start making high pitched noises like an overexcited dog.
The descriptions are so deliciously visceral, and I love reading them.
The bad:
Another unpopular opinion: I loathe Vau. Hate him utterly. He's a good character but a deeply horrible man, and this might be my trauma talking but it's my opinion and I'll die on this goddamn hill. He's verbally and physically abusive, and sees absolutely no consequences (or even reproach) for it in the narrative, aside from Kal breaking his nose, and he deserved so much worse than that.
The misogyny. Oh, Karen honey. That internalized misogyny got you good, huh? The blatant way she treats Etain and Besany through the mouths of other characters is... oof. There's a little bit of reversal, but it's still pretty bad. Even though they're "not like other girls," it's pretty obvious that Karen has a lot of issues with womanhood. It was the 2000s, so I'll let some of it be with the caveat that the 2000s were pretty damn misogynistic in general, but goddamn. Also, on that note, she seems to be fighting herself on whether Mandos have a gender neutral society or not? Like, she'll say on one page that there's no difference between men and women, and then go on to say that men go out and fight but women stay to guard the home and raise the kids. I am putting my head in my hands.
On a related note, Karen is the Jedi who hurt you in the room with us right now? Why do you hate the Jedi so damn much? It doesn't make any sense in the story and it doesn't make sense on a metatextual level. Bro, are you good?
Anyway! Yes! I have many opinions about this book series and I'm sure I forgot to cover everything! Please feel free to ask more questions!

UNPOPULAR OPINION( may not be tbh)
DISCLAIMER = This is just my personal opinion, I don't mean to offend anyone who likes the character
I really don't like Ginny Weasley. Partly because of the stuff she does( I'll come to that in a moment), and partly because of the way she's written. She had a few good moments till book 4 and had some great character development in book 5. I absolutely loved the interactions between her and harry in ootp n was looking forward to more of her in book 6. That's where the trouble comes tho, because book 6 absolutely ruined her for me.
Let's start from the beginning. I HATE the way she treated Fleur. Sure, Hermione n Mrs. Weasley were rude too, but she took it to a whole other level. Lyk it's okay to complain about how Fleur treats her lyk a child n all that, but Ginny goes as far as to mock Fleur for her french accent by calling her 'Phlegm'( yeah, coz EVERYONE'S born with a typical British accent) and mocks her femininity by 'prancing across the room with her arms held aloft like a ballerina.' She never really apologizes for any of this. All of this while Fleur's relocated all the way from France just to fit into their family. How tf does the plot expect us to find this funny!?
Then there's her treatment of Ron. She calls him a prat when he's just nervous during quidditch, does literally nothing to help him through it, and makes impressions of Ron nervously hobbling by the goalposts for the amusement of the team (teasing ur sibling about their insecurities in front of a whole crowd doesn't count as a normal sibling thing)
Now, I don't mind characters with these flaws, but she's never called out by anyone within the story. Harry might hv rose-tinted glasses for her( which is a dumb argument btw), but it doesn't mean he's deaf enough to not hear anyone else criticize her. Far from this tho, the narrative expects us to find this 'cool' and 'feisty'. She's also unnecessarily violent, with that bat bogey hex being lyk half her personality. Oh, and I'm not buying the 'she's been sneaking out to practice on her brothers brooms since the age of 6' bs....lyk how tf wud molly n arthur not notice their 6-7 yr old flying in the backyard? Not even once? Really?
She only has the exact traits harry needs in his ideal partner. No complexities, no insecurities, and no account of how she managed to bounce back after she was fucking possessed. Instead, hbp tried to promote ginny to us by showing how cool n popular n perfect she is, rather than some realistic character exploration.
This is more of a personal thing now, but I just find her sense of humor annoying. Lyk i generally prefer dry, sassy comebacks( there's no need to call me sir professor, or; yeah, u can have a word, goodbye) than her bold, loud, 'jk trying to promote her as cool n funny' sense of humor.
None of this is rectified in the end, as she sadly ends up being harry's metaphorical prize after he's defeated Voldemort, with no real development given to her outside of her relationship with him. She had so much potential, I wish her character hadn't been restricted or brushed off so much.

For the ask game: Winn/Opaka; Kate Pulaski/Deanna Troi/Beverly Crusher; Kira Dax/Lenara Kahn, specifically post-Jadzia's death; Worf/Sisko; Geordi LaForge/Miles O'Brien; Nyota Uhura/Christine Chapel; Keiko O'Brien/Garak; Dukat/his own hand while standing in front of a mirror & an itemised list of his achievements starting from age 3.
Thank you for this ask! You guys really delivered, I spent the entire day in bed AND replying to these & I didn’t even see time pass, so thank you to everybody who sent in an ask, I really appreciate it <3
I’ll cut this one for length.
I already addressed Winn/Opaka, so I’ll skip that one if you don’t mind.
Kate Pulaski/Deanna Troi/Beverly Crusher: I ship it
What made you ship it?
Since Kate joins Enterprise as a replacement for Beverly, & since in S2E7 Deanna mentions to Picard that she’s been spending time with Kate & is thus able to comment on her performance as CMO, I choose to believe that Deanna & Kate start a thing around that time & that they stay in touch once Kate leaves the ship, & that over time they absorb Beverly into that relationship. It’s more that Deanna is dating the both of them at first, but I can see Kate & Beverly quickly growing closer: they’ve got similar personalities & similar outlooks & I think they most probably knew each other before Pulaski was posted on the Enterprise. They might even have attended Starfleet Medical together, right? Hmm. Wonder what might have happened there - & if meeting again through Deanna wasn’t more of a second honeymoon thing…
What are your favorite things about the ship?
All three are cool characters with different motivations & I think that they’d be really good for each other - in the sense that what one needs in a relationship, the other two can provide. All in all they’d be a really strong throuple & once they’ve taken over the Enterprise no one will be safe… Picard’s just gonna spend the rest of his life hiding in his ready room because he’ll be too scared of the absolute dream team that is the Pulaski/Troi/Crusher triangle. “Bridge to Picard” - “No… *wet sobbing noises*”
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
Kate Pulaski is a good character & she’s not a big meanie who hates Data. Beverly Crusher is a bad doctor (like, terrible. Just imagine going to her for something that’s a little more sensitive than a broken rib from Parrises Squares & you’ll see what I mean).
Kira/Dax/Lenara Kahn: I ship it
What made you ship it?
This one I had never even considered but it’s a wholehearted YES from me. I can see Lenara coming back to the station (maybe after the war?) because she learned of Jadzia’s death & is looking for - maybe not closure but… something? Perhaps even she doesn’t know what she’s looking for. & she finds Kira, still reeling from the war & Jadzia’s death & trying to figure out where she stands now, & Ezri, who’s just thrown herself into the most toxic relationship she could’ve possibly found on the station & who’s definitely on a path to self-destruction; & one night all three of them are sitting in Quark’s with drinks they’ve barely touched & they’re talking about things that don’t matter to any of them, & then somehow they find themselves in Lenara’s guest quarters & they hook up, & it’s a mixture of grief & pent-up sexual energy & frustration about the way the war ended & Ezri’sl life going to shit & Lenara sort of regretting having come here. & of course, Ezri carries the symbiont’s memory of the previous hosts & so does Lenara, & you’ve got the symbionts themselves in there as well… Perfect. Mwah.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
The way that a lot more people & entities than just the three of them would be involved in this relationship. They all meet in the middle but behind each of them they carry many more people.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
Ezri is not a replacement for Jadzia & should not be judged as such. Yes, Nicole de Boer replaced Terry Farrell on the show, but a new Trill host is not a replacement for the previous one & it’s unfair to judge Ezri as a character in contrast to Jadzia. Also, Ezri is an interesting character & that’s a hill I’ll die on.
Worf/Sisko: I don’t ship it
Why don't you ship it?
Mainly because of Worf - I don’t think he’d ever, ever consider a relationship with a superior officer & if he ever happened to break that rule he would feel horrible about it. I could see him resigning his commission & exiling himself to a Klingon monastery over something like this. One day he just disappears on a shuttle to Q’onoS & no one knows why (not even Ben!)
What would have made you like it?
I think I’d like it if it specifically included Worf exiling himself to a Klingon monastery over it & both him & Ben having to deal with what that means - & you’d talk about loss & faith & what’s right & what’s wrong, & how people who are very different can still connect, etc. Am I writing the blurb for my next fic here? Maybe! We can never know.
Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?
Whatever happens, it can never be boring. There’s nothing these two men can do that would make a fic about them boring. It’s all Game of Thrones-style political manoeuvres & deep feelings & epic quests, there’s no way to make it uninteresting!
EDIT: I just realised that by the time I finished writing that section I'd changed my mind about this pairing? So I guess I ship it now! Amazing.
Geordi LaForge/Miles O’Brien: I ship it
What made you ship it?
I had never considered it before today but you know what? It makes sense, & I like it. Now what I need to decide is which I like best: if they get together while Miles still serves on the Enterprise or if they reconnect once he’s settled into his new position as Chief Engineer on DS9. I think I’ve got a slight preference for the latter; first, because that means the hyperfixation technobabble conversation potential is off the fucking charts, & second because I think it would remove a layer of hero worship Miles might’ve had for the flagship’s Chief Engineer while he was still serving with him.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
The “we are autistic about warp drives” vibes; Geordi’s bubbly charm vs. Miles’ panicked stiffness; the fact that some might think that there’s a strange mismatch between them but when you look closer they actually make total sense.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
Geordi LaForge should be shipped with more people than just Data. I see the appeal of DaForge (& I don’t NOT ship it, I guess) but multishipping is cool actually & Geordi especially is a character you can ship with a lot of other characters. He’s easygoing, friendly, fun & charming, & there’s really many characters he’d be fun to ship with!
Nyota Uhura/Christine Chapel: a classic, but I just realised that I don’t ship it (oops)
Why don't you ship it?
I guess I just don’t see it. There’s really no other reason. Sorry, this one is really boring, haha!
What would have made you like it?
More interactions between them might have swayed me, I suppose? But then I think that they’re very different people & that more interactions might’ve just reinforced my opinions, lol.
Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?
The sex they’d have would be insane. People talk about the noises coming from Kirk’s quarters but what about the hours-long lesbian fucking happening in Uhura’s quarters??
Keiko O’Brien/Garak: I ship it
What made you ship it?
I ship it in one specific setting, which is as follows: they tried it once, because they were both in a weird headspace & it seemed appealing - & then the sex wasn’t really good & they were both sort of weirded out & they never did it again. It happened either in the arboretum where they had been tending to Keiko’s projects & Garak’s flower & gossiping, or it happened after a lunch date in Garak’s changing rooms. They never talk about it & there’s an unspoken rule that they never talk about it to anyone - not because Keiko cheated on Miles (the O’Brien’s have an open marriage) but because they can’t acknowledge it in any way. After a few months Keiko relaxes about it & she tells Miles (he promises not to tell anyone, & he doesn’t) but Garak is taking that secret to his grave (there’s really no reason to but he insists on it).
What are your favorite things about the ship?
The vibes are so off & it’s delicious <3
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I think that when Garak says he’s all alone & doesn’t have any friends he is lying for dramatic effect, & that he’s actually very fond of Keiko as a friend & he knows that she’s very fond of him too. Is that unpopular? I don’t know, but I feel like it could be.
Dukat/his own hand, etc.: this one is canon so I won’t elaborate.

The #TedBecca fandom went nuclear after that ending, and I get it. I’m not going to comment on how people should feel or not, because I’ve been there.
Sweet Lords of Kobol, have I ever been there.
I have seen some shitty finales. It’s why I hate them now. I loathe final seasons, and I’ve gotten to a point where I just don’t watch a lot of television while it’s airing. I have honestly gotten to a point where if my faves made it out alive, it’s a win. Fix-it fic is a very happy place.
#TedLasso and #StarTrekPicard were the exceptions to that rule, and probably the only thing besides football that I’ve watched live in a long time.
I have shipped some ships that went straight to shit. I have shipped some ships that ended tragically (Voyager, House and Major Crimes left their mark on me, okay? And it’s deep, scarred, and I’ll never trust an EP again).
That said, with #TedLasso, I did not feel the same old trauma that I’m used to. I liked that ending. I laughed, I cried, and I thought it was great.
1. Jamie and Roy — We’ve been told since almost episode 1, Season 1, that there is no such thing as perfection and people are a work in progress. They got drunk, and like idiots, their drunken mouths and egos overloaded their good sense. The point was not their regression though. Roy acknowledges at the end of that scene that they are both “fucking idiots”, and Jamie acknowledges that. Then they go eat. I think they’re okay, as far as the friendship we saw grow. And we see Roy working on himself, both as a Diamond Dog, and in therapy. These are not perfect guys, and we were never going to see a perfect resolution to their issues, but I love how far they’ve grown…. Roy in therapy with Dr. Sharon? LOVE IT! BUT – As I said, the point of that scene is not their regression. Keeley chooses NEITHER of them. She chooses herself. I think she and Roy could end up in a place where they could get back together, but he’s got some work to do on his own, and then there’s the point of Keeley’s storyline this season (IMO), she has some work to do with being happy about who she is, in her personal life and her professional. She needs to feel secure in that, and she’s almost there. To me, the series ended with the potential of their reconciliation. There’s hope! Which has been one of the main themes of the show.
2. Beard and Jane — that chick is hella weird, and I don’t get it, but Beard does. I think the wedding part of the montage might have been a dream, because I agree – in no universe is Ted missing that. Either way, I just didn’t care about them. It doesn’t bother me.
3. Rebecca and Boat Guy — I don’t think he’s the lightning. But I think she deserves the opportunity to be with someone else post Rupert, before anything serious develops anywhere else. She hasn’t had many post-Rupert relationships. She deserves to have those, given how long she was with that asshat.
4. Ted and Michelle – Ok, this is probably going to be the controversial, unpopular opinion. Ted was always going to go back to Kansas. The entire show has been leading toward that. The question is whether he ends up staying in Kansas, or not. Ted feels, very strongly, like he needs to be with Henry. This is what he feels will make him happy, and will make Henry happy. Rebecca gave him solutions to that, and they’re great ones. He's not there yet. Here’s why: Now that Ted knows Michelle was with Dr. Asshole, but we’re given the idea she isn’t anymore (I’m going with that), Ted deserves to know how much of their marriage breaking up was truly about THEM growing apart, and how much of it was Dr. Asshole being an unethical shit. And, IMO, Michelle deserves to know that too. How much of her thinking Ted was must “too much” and pushing him away was Dr. Asshole influencing her? How much of that was this absolute Frakweasel being so unethical that, I can’t even find the words. Michelle was vulnerable, and the question is, did he use that vulnerability and her trust in him to break them up? It’s a question that needs to be answered for Ted and Michelle, before either of them can move on, and it needs to be answered for Henry too. What I think, honestly, that they would find is that they really did grow apart. I think that it would make them better co-parents. They are still family, there is no reason they cannot be amicable in their split & their joint custody of Henry. I also feel, very strongly, that neither of them is going to be comfortable with the other moving on, or with themselves moving on, until they know the answers to those very big questions. I also think, ultimately, in my damaged, scarred, very traumatized shipper heart, that this will lead Ted back to Rebecca, and to a place where the two of them, Ted and Michelle, could have that conversation about her and Henry making the move to England.
So really, for TedBecca to happen, Ted had to go home.
I also think, for Ted to truly be happy, he had to go back. Not that being in Kansas is what will make him truly happy – but what will make him feel strong in himself, as a person, and a father, and a friend. There are so many unresolved issues for him in Kansas, that, I agree – in that final scene he doesn’t look totally happy with his choice. He didn’t WANT to leave the people he loves in England behind. He’s going to miss them. He felt like he needed to. But to me he looked content in where his choice could take him. There was hope there.
There was hope there for all our characters to get the futures they deserve. That’s the kind of finale I can live with. That’s why I loved it.

oof i almost wish we never got to hear that alternate ep6 stuff from samba cause like. i really love s2, i really really do!! and because of the rancid vibes coming from parts of this fandom since the finale, i have mostly just focused on the things i absolutely adore (which is a lot, or even most of the season). and that’s been very lovely.
but i do also feel like the last few episodes (6-8 to be exact) are not as strong as the rest of the show. and it’s weird cause i can’t exactly pinpoint why, and i love so much from those episodes too (and weirdly 2x07 which was my least favourite when i first watched it i think is SO fun on rewatch, idk i feel like this is almost an unpopular opinion but i LOVE stede in that ep and i love their fight. also their little date. the crew running schemes). but to me s1-s2ep5 is almost perfect tv in every way, but the end of s2 isn’t.
and to know these tidbits about what could have been!! dancing!! the taking it slow thing actually having some development and plot to it. stede makeover and talking to someone on the crew about their relationship after the reunion (i agree with people saying it’s good people weren’t “meddling” but i also think it would have been mostly comedic and like a way for one/both of them to voice their thoughts)!! it sounds so good 😭
and obviously there are probably so many reasons why things were changed. budgets, fewers eps, studio things etc. but it might also just be what the writers room thought worked better for whatever reason. we have no idea, unless they actually come out and tell us, which i strongly doubt. also we just have samba’s retelling of what he remembers and knows about the earlier drafts, it really isn’t clear at all. maybe the script actually sucked we have no idea?!
but it is kinda ruining my “i love ofmd so much the stede and ed in my head are being in love and very funny in the inn” phase and pushing me into a “mourning what could have been” phase instead

Veeeethany
beloved Revvetha. Babygirl. Loml
First impression
An early favorite! Tbh I knew she was just my type right from the start of the campaign, but I will cop that at various times she was eclipsed by either Beau (in the early days) or Fjord (in the later days) as my second favorite m9 character. Literally thought she was fantastic from the start, no notes, hilarious, heartfelt, unhinged, and fully lovable babygirl
Impression now
Currently my favorite of the m9! Which I'm sure is very obvious. Beyond what makes her a fun and funny character, over time I've just come to appreciate her depth so much, and all of her internal conflicts. I find her conflicts so relatable, particularly in the end game of the campaign, where she's caught between her home life and adventure, stuck trying to be two people at once and make everyone happy. Her arc can be quiet, but so impactful, and I love to pick it apart and sit with it.
Favorite moment
It's cruel and unusual punishment to make me pick a favorite Veth moment. There are so many I could choose. I'll say my number on pick is her swimming in the pond and the Blooming Grove. What a HUGE character moment that was for her, facing her biggest fear in the dark of night, alone, and comfortable for one of the first times ever. Stunning choice, absolutely hits me in the gut
Also have to shout out her ep 121 one-on-one watch conversation with Caleb, because that might be one of my favorite one-on-ones in the whole campaign.
In terms of funny moment, her bit of trying to interfere with Beau and Yasha's date and her conversation with Beau telling her about the date she's going to have with Yasha is a fucking highlight of my life. I've watched that clip so many times and I'm never not dying by the end of it
Idea for a story
WELL ANON, let me just unpack my fucking BIBLE of things I'd like to write for Veth. We've kind of returned to the "too many to pick" territory here.
I want to (and am actually working on currently) something about Veth talking to a grown-up Luc about the adventuring life. Really anything with Veth and grown-up Luc, I am interested in writing because I'd love to explore what that dynamic would look like, especially since I'd imagine Luc would be very keen on the adventuring life, where Veth had a lot of mixed feeling initially (the fear and anxiety of trying to look after people and be brave that drove her to drink vs the life-changing love and confidence she learned in the process). I just think their contrasting perspectives on the adventuring life would be so interesting to explore!
I am also SUPER interested in doing Veth x Yasha piece at some point. What will the plot be? no idea. but know that I am always thinking about this
Unpopular opinion
She is the most shippable character in the M9. *slaps top of Veth* you can fit so many ships in this halfling, and they're ALL baller
Oh, also I think Revvetha is a hilarious and perfect legal name for her. I am never not laughing abut Revvetha. Additionally, it makes her even more Jewish coded, no I will not elaborate
Favorite relationship
The low-hanging fruit choice here is Caleb because. obviously. I don't feel that I need to explain myself here. Widobrave is my bio. you know.
Secondarily, I love her friendship with Beau! I think they play off each other so well, and I love the way they egg each other to reveal secrets to each other. There's a lot of honestly between them, and they can be very secure that the other is not going to judge them. Also, beau's "you bitch. I know you're fucking down here, you bitch" moment lives in my head rent free always.
Favorite headcanon
Veth learns Sending so that she can talk to Yasha telepathically. I die on the hill that Veth does this one day.
Send me a character!

Tumblr media
So now that the prologue has been released, I want to give my brief thoughts on Project: Eden’s Garden. I’ll try to avoid spoilers, but if you wanna go into this fully blind, now might be the time to check it out yourself. The prologue has been released for download, the playthroughs are up on the main channel, and SHSL Blaze has uploaded their playthrough of the prologue as well. Others will most likely be coming out fast as well. So get on the train while you can to avoid Spoilers.
If you really don’t know if you should check it out or not before reading this, I urge you to please go and see the prologue through to its entirety. You will not be disappointed.
With that, follow the Read More for my brief thoughts on this game so far.
Tumblr media
So to get the negative out of the way, I do think that the controls themselves need some work. Mostly I wish we had the option to adjust/toggle controls so that we can adjust it to our comfort, or at least perhaps something that could show us immediately what the basic controls were on the main menu when you first start the game. I struggled to get the controls working even with the download instructions and experimenting. In the end, I had to shut it down and opt for the let’s play instead, which is a rare issue I don’t often have with starting up a game I intended to play. I’ll try again on my next day off when I have more time to really devote to it, but if the problem persists, that might be an issue going forward.
That being said, for a fangame with a very small team doing all this for free in their spare time? It’s honestly still an amazing feat and the team deserves a round of applause for all their hard work on getting the controls to work as well as they did based off what I saw in the let’s play. I think if they give themselves some more time in between the prologue and the first chapter to playtest things and maybe work out the kinks in how the controls are set up, we’ll have something really good in terms of playability.
Also, this might become a bit of an unpopular opinion going forward as more people play the game/watch let’s plays of it, and I do understand that this is just how he is now that the game has only just started and there’s the character development we have to wait for, but I really, really, REALLY do not like Damon as the protagonist as of the date of this post. I do like the idea of a character like Damon being the protagonist, and I have seen it be used effectively in other games and novels. But there were many times where his inner monologue and things he’d say to others made me dislike him more the further in we went, and I was half tempted to just close it out and wait until the first chapter was released (I pushed through because of the rest of the cast). By the end of the prologue, I began wishing that Wolfgang, Desmond, or Toshiko were the protagonist instead. Going forward, the writing for Damon is going to have a lot of work cut out for it to make me enjoy him as a protagonist. Or at least tolerate him as the player character.
Tumblr media
And that’s all I really have to say by way of genuine negatives because this is all positive going forward.
Starting with the art and UI because HOLY SHIT. If you didn’t know better, you’d think this was an actual, official Danganronpa game, and I honestly would not be surprised if someone at Spike eventually sees this and goes “hey, we need this team on our payroll”. The design of the characters are fantastic, all of the sprites are dynamic and expressive and on par with some of the best in the franchise. The backgrounds are GORGEOUS and the interface is sleek and clean and easy to look at. The colors are vibrant and it all is very beautiful. AND DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE MUSIC BECAUSE I WANT TO EAT IT. IT IS THAT GOOD. Honestly, the art, music, and design alone make this worth checking out.
And don’t even get me started on the voice work because BY GOD. It’s absolute perfection. I don’t think there’s a single voice I don’t like. Mty favorites have to go to Eloise, Grace, Toshiko, Desmond, Wolfgang, Jett, Wenona, and of course, Tozu.
SPOILER: As for the mechanics, they’re more or less your standard Danganronpa fair for the most part. You have the Climax Reasoning, the Nonstop Debates, and the parts where you answer questions via multiple choice. I do also really like that the team decided to do make the purple text something you can utilize as absorb statements. The Pathos Statement mechanic is a true gamechanger and I hope to see it implemented in future projects.
Now, for my brief thoughts on the characters. I will go in the order of how they appear in the VA cast video. I have some thoughts that’ll be more elaborate later, but this is just a brief overview.
Damon Maitsu: I already said it in the negatives section, but just a recap of it is “I hope his character development makes me hate him less”. Good for what he is, but will be a deal breaker character for some people.
Eva Tsukuna: You are either going to become my best girl or my worst nightmare and I cannot wait to see where your character goes. There is something off about you and I need answers. I don’t like you, but I also don’t hate you. You’re in that weird grey area where I need more before I can really decide.
Desmond Hall: We haven’t seen much yet, but from what little we got, I am excited to see how he interacts with the rest of the cast. Please survive at least past chapter 2.
Eloise Taulner: I WANT YOU TO HAVE THE WORLD SWEETIE YOU’RE DOING AMAZING. She better survive or I will be very very very sad.
Toshiko Kayura: I was so, so prepared to list you as my least favorite character and right now I want you to survive to the end. Toshiko my dear, you’re phenomenal.
Wenona: To quote John Mulaney, “MY WIFE IS A BITCH AND I LIKE HER SO DAMN MUCH!” Seriously, Wenona is so much fun as the antagonistic character so far.
Ulysses Wilhelm: Someone get this man a lavender scented candle and a cozy blankie. He needs to SLEEP. I love him.
Mark Berskii: You are either going to be very very lowkey or you’ll make a massive splash. I hope you do a concert.
Diana Venicia: I will be so sad if you die. You are absolutely the definition of a cinnamon roll.
Wolfgang Akire: Oh. Oh, there’s some TRAUMA here. I can sense it. So far, Wolfie is my favorite. I love him so much. I want him to have a big crying breakdown.
Kai Monteago: “If you didn’t like me from the start, you’re never gonna like me-” HOLD IT! I like you. I didn’t expect it and honestly thought I’d hate you, but so far I do in fact like you. You pathetic little meow meow you.
Jett Dawson: Jett, my dear, my darling. You are on par with Akane so far. I want to see more from you.
Ingrid Grimwall: I don’t know if I want you to make me a sword or take my soul and make me into a sword. Your kind heart is as big as your arm muscles. I adore you.
Grace Madison: I expected to hate you, and yet, you are my favorite Asshole in this entire show. You’re the fun kind of Asshole. I love the fun ones.
Jean Delamer: You’re like if Sakura, Nekomaru, and Kaito fused into a single person. You’re as amazing personality wise as your muscles are huge. I wanna see more. Gimme the FTEs now.
Cassidy Amber: Oh, you and Wenona are gonna get along like water and oil and I am READY for it.
Tozu: .....I feel like you’re about ready to jump to the top of my “favorite villains of all time” list and your voice is so..... I just.....I want Tozu to read audio books.
I’m honestly surprised because with ONE exception, I don’t dislike this cast. With the official games, I always have a total of three characters minimal I either absolutely dislike or am absolutely indifferent to. But I think this game has one of the strongest casts in any fangan project. Or hell, in any story I’ve come across as of late.
Tumblr media
And that’s about it that I really have to say at the moment. So far, Project: Eden’s Garden is shaping up to be one of the best Fangans in history, and I would honestly not be surprised if it got picked up to become and official Danganronpa title with its quality.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, or you’re still debating on if you should, please do yourself a favor.
GO INDULGE IN PROJECT EDEN’S GARDEN.
You won’t regret it.

Deanbenny
What made you ship it? have you seenn that shit. it's canon it's in the TEXT man. they really fucked up there on that mountain in that afterlife with absolutely no lube.
What are your favorite things about the ship? um. i love that benny is a bear. huge fan of that. i like the fact that benny is someone who has had to live in a society - normal, human society mostly, because although he's a vampire, vampires aren't cut off the way demons are - as a queer man. the other male characters that dean has really had opportunities to develop relationships that went beyond a flirtation with - cas, crowley - are not... they don't exist in a society in the same way. cas doesn't at all, like he has no real concept of a queer identity. and while crowley certainly has a queer identity, he's also used to existing in demon society, rather than human. which is a bit. different. so benny is someone who has had a century or two to develop and reconcile a queer self-concept in the same society in which dean is closeted. and that's something i like. for dean.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? so i have two that are kind of contradictory. i think that on the one hand, if dean had just... rode off into the sunset with benny. left hunting and cas and sam in the dust. that might have been the best ending for him. he might have managed to outgrow his toxic patterns once he was no longer around the people he established them with. it would be his first really adult relationship, and it would definitely make him happy. on the other hand, there's a decent chance dean's relationship benny is only so good because dean hasn't had time to sour on him yet, and benny died at the perfect time to keep him enshrined as a saint forever instead of being a receptacle for dean's rage. so maybe everything would have fallen apart in a few more months when benny put a toe out of line. but you know, maybe it wouldn't. those patterns were established years ago when dean was way more fucked up. they still happen with sam and cas out of habit, but they might not go like that with someone new.

FaOI 2023 Makuhari Day 2 - Impressions
It's kind of what happens when people already know what's happening during the show - the hype dies down, quite a lot. I woke up at 6 a.m. randomly and found out MORE photos from Day 1 were published. Naturally, I wasted no time and saved them - I compiled some of them in the OP2, EX2 and Finale2 posts. Yuzu truly shines when he's in his element, or rather, on his element aka ice-chan ☺(excuse my poor attempt at a pun)
After saving the photos, there was still more than an hour to go before the second day of Fantasy on Ice 2023 began, so I decided to rest my eyes for a bit. I ended up sleeping through 3/4 of the show, so I missed the reports in real time about the 2nd day's opening. I quickly found the relevant posts and there wasn't really much info about it, but one thing that caught my eye - Yuzu, apparently, is acting very cat-like in the OP. I guess we'll have to wait until the live broadcast tomorrow to fully understand what that means or why he's doing it.
Tumblr media
This time, the 4T was cleanly landed followed by a high-kick. With that trademark combination ticked, I can finally rest assured that FaOI has truly started and it's not just a fever dream. You'd have thought the photos are enough to confirm the reality of it all.
Once I caught up with the (not so much) info about the opening, I patiently waited for the second half to conclude and find out the shenanigans Yuzu was up to for his EX and Finale. In the meantime, of course the twitter timeline was losing its mind, still, at all the new photos still popping up from Day 1. By the way, seems like Yuzu did a layback spin yesterday in the Finale, but no one really said anything about it. Do excuse the poor quality, unfortunately, no media has made this public, it's a stock photo from Aflo.
Tumblr media
There really can't be FaOI if Yuzu doesn't progressively get more daring by the day. Reports quickly started pouring in with the absolutely very important information that, at the end of IF, his new program, he took of the jacket and the audience lost it. I see taking off the jacket is quickly becoming a FaOI tradition. Apparently, Yuzu knows exactly how to serve and keep it interesting. Patiently waiting for the recorded broadcast on 9th July for this gem.
More about IF: I was too excited yesterday that I forgot to talk a bit about the program itself. Some footage was released on the news of what the program looks like. It reminds me of Ashura-chan, but not too much. It's a fast-paced program, it has two 3Lo jumps, and the most baffling detail: IT STARTS WITH A CAMEL SPIN. There's no program EVER that started with a spin - Yuzu keeps revolutionizing figure skating and that says a lot about his nature as a pro athlete.
The one thing I was truly curious about, though, was the finale wacko combination jumps. From the sound of it, there was no such thing yesterday, so I held out hope that maybe today there'd be something, and it was. A 4T3A (step out) - 3T (or 3Lo, depends on who you want to believe - once again, 9th July will reveal all).
Unpopular opinion, maybe, but I find it a bit weird that Yuzu is not nailing the jumps so early in the tour. I mean, we know last year he did perfectly well in the beginning, but as the tour progressed, he got more tired, so the jumps became less perfect. Anyway, with all that Yuzu has accomplished in the past year (wow, almost a year since he turned pro), a wobbled jump on the first day of FaOI and a small error on a combination jump on the 2nd day (after an intense solo program, might I add) it's perfectly alright.
All that matters is that Yuzu is having fun and he keeps surprising us. He said a while ago he feels like he's running out of ideas, but Fanyus seem to have an abundance of them and maybe, just maybe, Yuzu is taking inspiration from them. For example, Henni147 suggested in her Challenge4Yuzu thread that he should start a program with a spin - he did 😉

4ggravate, or BaroRyuu? :)
Why do either when I could do BOTH. In any case, I adore both of these so absolutely SHIP IT
Gonna put this under a read more because I'm going long here haha
For 4ggravate:
1. What made you ship it?
It was probably Alhaitham's trailer, when I actually got to see the four of them interacting in the same place. I already basically shipped three separate combinations (Haitham with Cyno and with Kaveh, and Cyno with Nari), so that's what finally made me think they all have two hands and can interact together in very fun, very diverse ways.
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
How different and yet similar the four of them are. They all have very different dynamics and know one another in very diverse ways, which brings so much richness to the metaphorical table. Each combination has such a distinct flavor, if you will, and when paired together, you get something wholly unique.
Kaveh has his whole Thing with Alhaitham, where their relationship is in a very unique position because of the fact that they're roommates, but also because of the history they have from their student days. Haitham clearly cares about Kaveh's well-being, and Kaveh will probably eventually understand that, but there's clearly a deep sense of connection and understanding between them in that dynamic.
Kaveh and Cyno had such a lovely little interaction in the Interdarshan Championship, and I think that opens the door to them actually seeing each other in a new light. They're both very passionate about the things they hold dear to them, and I think they'd feel pretty comfortable around one another just hanging out and sharing interests. Please go on a date, you two.
Cyno and Nari are the very typical schoolmates to sweethearts, and it's clear they're best of friends despite their differences, and that they visit one another and talk for hours on end as they share meals. There's a very comforting warmth to their relationship that's always nice to see.
Nari and Kaveh is something I am currently exploring in rp format (shoutout to Dex), but I will have more Thoughts on the matter soon, hopefully. However, I can say they're both also passionate about their interests and Kaveh probably got to know him better after the whole incident with the building and the Withering. They also have a good balance, since Kaveh is a lot more impulsive and thinks with his heart, whereas Nari is more calculating and meticulous. So they can both give each other a little push the other might need.
Haitham and Nari is another facet I'm still considering (shoutout to Alex because we had a very interesting conversation about these two). But they both have a very similar temperament, and they're both more comfortable on their own doing their own little thing. However, they would perhaps see the value in doing their own thing together and actually enjoy their company and eventually start talking and doing work together because they both realise they can actually work on things without having to stop and explain every little thing to one another because they're on a similar wavelength. Whereas Kaveh and Haitham are opposites that complement one another, Nari and Haitham are complimentary.
And that's just the four broken down into pairs! Imagine just having all four mixed together! Anyway this is why I really love 4ggravate, so thanks for giving me the perfect excuse to ramble on here.
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
There should be more content with these four, is all I need.
For Baroryuu:
1. What made you ship it?
I mean, it was probably when Barok called Ryuu a sacrificial lamb. It might just have been that. Either way, I loved getting to see their dynamic throughout the games, especially when there's a visible shift in how they address one another when Ryuu ends up having to defend him.
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
I always love a good rivalry, and Barok and Ryuu have such a unique one. The witty banter, the way the relationship evolves, as I already mentioned, the way Ryuu helps Barok finally get rid of the specters of his past. And I always eat it up when they portray Barok as a very proper Jane Austen-esque love interest in fics, especially when Ryuu finds it terribly amusing. I'm guilty of that myself tbh
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I don't think so? I don't know what the general consensus is outside of the circle of people who ship it, and they're all lovely people.

Unpopular opinion: I know people love Jon, especially now that he's Supertwunk and all.. and I know Clark×Lois is sort of THE icon of squeaky clean, superhero embodies mainstream American values romance, and how the temptation is to give them that generic unmuddled and uncomplicated happy ending, but I really just can't let go of the headcanon that Clark should absolutely not be able to procreate with a human, and that the acceptance of that inability to have his own kids with Lois, as well as the struggle with notions of his, and Krypton's legacy that might come from that, should 100% be a core facet of his character later in life.
And that applies whether or not the alternative to explore is
not having kids at all,
adopting kid(s),
a clone situation like Conner(if not Conner himself),
or some kind of human sperm doner/kryptonian surrogate pregnancy situation.
Nothing against Jon personally; his run as superboy was fun, him as superman has been fine (but such a mundane "fine" that feels hard to justify at times), but he's honestly kind of the worst possible outcome of Clark and Lois's relationship. Not by any direct fault of his own but just because his existence is mutually exclusive to so many better stories that could be being told about Superman as a father.
Like... I understand the temptation- not even "temptation" but just reflex- to want, or even to just assume out of hand, that of course Superman would have the most effortless, uncomplicated, picture perfect version of any normal life event. He's SUPERMAN. He makes everything look good. Superman doesn't get into interpersonal drama, he's always optimistic, and hopeful, and inspiring, etc... It's what transforms the big blue boyscout routine from obnoxious unreality to aspirational exemplar.
And that's kind of why I'm so into the idea of him and Lois wanting but not being able to have their own kids; because that's a very real thing for a lot of couples, and it's something that is all too frequently treated as some great tragedy for them(even as i write this i struggle to think of clear terms for this that aren't built on questionable if not outright negative connotations) But it's far from an end of the world scenario. And that's precisely why the sparkling paragon that is SUPERMAN being able to shine an optimistic light on those alternatives to concieving a child feels so powerful.
(Oh and thats not even touching on the parallels with his own parents. I kind of forget that an implicit part of his backstory is that Jon and Martha never had kids of their own.)

For the recent ask game: Korra from TLOK!!
(Idk if you’ve seen it but I know you’ve seen ATLA so if you haven’t seen TLOK yet then let’s hear what you think about Uncle Iroh)
I have seen both series, so now you get to hear me rant about two fictional characters! Lucky you!
KORRA ( THE LEGEND OF KORRA )
First impression:
Pretty girl. Muscles. Short hair. Queer.
Need I say more?
Impression now:
I love how much Korra grew throughout the series.
I’m sure many many Tumblr folks have expended on it in proper essays, but it’s refreshing to see that the writing team approached her as they would any protagonist, instead of treating her differently because of her gender ( which makes sense, in a world where cool warrior ladies like Kyoshi have been a thing since the beginning of time ) !
Favorite moment:
No surprise here, I’m going to say the ending. I knew about it beforehand and it is the reason I started watching the series in the first place.
Idea for a story:
I’d love to see more content about Baby Korra discovering her powers and her parents absolutely F R E A K I N G O U T about it! What little we saw of her at that age was so cute.
Unpopular opinion:
Not sure if this is an “unpopular” opinion, but the relationships between the Main Four were the weakest point of the show in my opinion.
I was extremely annoyed by the whole love triangle debacle, and even Korrasami felt a bit underdeveloped ( There were HUGE instances of flirting between the two in S1, and then they kinda… Paused… Until halfway through S4? ). That one is understandable, though - we all know the challenges of trying to sneak a queer storyline into a kids’ show.
Overall, I didn’t get the “found family” feel that made ATLA so great from Korra and the gang. I’ve heard good things about the comics, though, so I might get my hands on them someday!
Favorite relationship:
Despite what I just said, it is Korrasami, 100%.
I like that they didn’t let the love triangle ruin their friendship ( any negative feelings they had were directed either at Makko or themselves, rather than each other ) and how well they work together despite being so different.
And Korrasami did so much for queer representation in general. It might not seem like much when we look back on it now, but these girls really kicked the portal door open for all of the great stuff we’re getting today!

Favorite headcanon:
Many people have created great art of Korrasami getting engaged using a Water Tribe betrothal necklace. I especially love scenarii in which Asami is the one to propose ( engaging in your partner’s cultural traditions because it’s important to them is a huge pro-gamer move in my book ) .
IROH ( AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER )
First impression:
A funny old man who might or might not be sabotaging Zuko’s efforts to find the Avatar on purpose. For his own good, of course.
Impression now:
A much more complex character than I originally expected. He’s great, obviously, but also imperfect, and I love him for that. More on that later.
Favorite moment:
Probably not a surprise either: the reunion with Zuko in the White Lotus camp. Cleared my skin and watered my crops.

Idea for a story:
I’d like to see more fluff of Iroh in his later years, when he can reflect on how much Zuko has grown throughout the years. Maybe play with Izumi as well! Intimate character pieces are my favourite type of fics to read and write.
Unpopular opinion:
He’s not as perfect as the fandom makes him out to be… And that’s a good thing, actually!
I especially think he could have done more to protect the kids from Ozai ( we see him look away when Ozai burns Zuko’s face, and his whole attitude towards Azula, A LITERAL KID, makes me uneasy ). The complexity only makes him more compelling though, and I think we could all benefit from recognising that even good people make mistakes sometimes.
Favorite relationship:
Iroh and Zuko, obviously. I absolutely ADORE the adoptive father figure / troubled kid working through his trauma dynamic ( something something Professor Layton, something something Hershel and Clive ).
Favorite headcanon:
I really hope he got to meet Baby Iroh and understand how much of an impact he truly had on Zuko’s, and probably Izumi’s, lives.
I could also see him b*tching about his nephew with Mai over tea. If they can’t embarrass him a little, what’s the point?
Thank you for these @crestofshame!

La Fatina Lunare Giulietta 🌙 ✨
I knew my Moon Damsel would fly to me in my inbox, I missed you so much! *w*
Thank you for another ask, let's start!
4. Do you like to get 100% achievements/trophies? I usually do, especially in open world games (when the map is not insanely vast!). The more unique the collectables, trophies or challenges, the better! ^_-
5. Game(s) coming out that you’re looking forward to I can't absolutely wait for Hellblade II Senua's Saga, but unfortunately they still haven't announced a release date date yet, so... I'm (Im)patiently waiting. In the meanwhile, definitely SW Jedi: Survivor, which is out in two days!
7. A series you’ve lost interest in It might sound paradoxically absurd, but it's quite the Assassin's Creed series. The way they torn and raped the lore and gameplay mechanincs definitely threw away my slightest consideration. They lost me at Origins, which is a The Witcher 3 wanna be with a nonsense plot in my opinion. And let me say, maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but the series had to end with Syndicate.
13. Quick, name the first song from a game that comes to mind
youtube
This creepy lullaby from Outlast 2 is always on my mind when playing all horror games, don't know why! Jumpscare alert!
17. A game you didn’t finish but would like to get back to or restart someday Usually if I give up on a game is because it didn't grow on me even after days and days of gameplay, but for Remothered: Broken Porcelain this is not the case. This game was very and badly bugged at the release and still needs to be properly patched at this time, that's why I wasn't able to finish it, but I'd love to play it fluently one day and conclude the story of Jennifer.

18.A game location you really like
There are countless, I'll name a few: The Frontier in AC3 The Cemetery, Scarecrow Fields in Medievil, Kew Gardens and Wulfrum Hall in Medievil 2 Almost all the worlds of Spyro Tokyo in Ghostwire Tokyo
19. A game you started up for the first time and you knew from the start it was going to be great Oh well, so many!! It's a long long list. I just feel it when a game can give me a lot emotionally and in terms of gameplay experience.
22. A game ending that’s really stuck with you
Again, so many. Definitely the saddest ones, such as AC3, Martha is Dead, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Stray... oh, Stray destroyed me!! Some others like The Pathless, Sea of Solitude, the good ending of Sekiro.
23. A “Wow” moment of awe
That's in Control! \m/
youtube
27. A game you love the atmosphere of
Kena: Bridge of Spirits. That game has thaumaturgic places once they're purified from corruption. But also, as a horror passionate, The Suicide of Rachel Foster gave me shivers the whole time, that was perfect!
31. Someone has never played a video game before but is open to trying any genre. What game would you recommend as their first?
I would go for AC1! Linear, intuitive, also a bit repetitive (so not that hard to learn) and the story is so good to let anybody understand how deep a videogame's plot can be, just like any other form of art!
Sorry if I wasn't brief ^ ^' I hope you enjoyed
Thanks for visiting me again. A waterfall of tight hugs <3
