Also I am. Constantly forgetting how fucking funny Hunter is. We never give him enough credit for how funny he is because his life is so fucked up but I swear 90% of his lines are just bit after bit after bit. He's not even trying either. Anytime he actively tries to make a joke it falls flat but if you just put him in a Scenario he'll find a way to be so over invested and yet out of touch/at odds with whatever's going on. look this really isn't the kind of post i'd normally make but why the fuck aren't we talking about trans rights in the uk. this is just the latest thing they've thrown at us. it's absolute shit here to be blunt.
on the 19th the uk department of education (DfE) released its guidance for schools and colleges and how they deal with trans kids
its bad. really fucking bad.
but there is some hope in that they are asking for feedback from teachers and school leaders, myself and a friend wrote a document going through why the guidelines are so awful but stopped after focusing on four points since it was. half midnight on the same day this guidance was released. we then gave this to as many teachers as we could before the holiday break and believe me it did a lot, we're working on completing a full version soon
so, uk students, i am begging you to do similar and try persuade your teachers to give feedback (if its safe for you to do so), you'd be surprised how supportive they can be if you break down what this guidance will bring
teacher feedback can be given here, the deadline is the 12th of march 2024
i'm going to go through some of the worst parts of this guidance, keep in mind that according to the education secretary gillian keegan, "this guidance puts the best interests of all children first" utter bullshit obviously
to start off throughout this whole thing they never use the word trans/transgender, just "gender questioning" which feels so fucked up to me
ok so to be blunt essentially what this is going to do is to out any trans kids who want to socially transition to their parents, as well as the fact a school can just. fucking decline any request to socially transition.
"The… guidance clarifies that schools and colleges do not have to, and should not, accept all requests for social transition."
"We are also clear how vital it is that parents are informed and involved in the decisions that impact their children’s lives."
"Parents’ views must also be at the heart of all decisions made about their children – and nowhere is that more important than with decisions that can have significant effects on a child’s life for years to come.”
oh yeah they also connote the whole "trans kids can just get permanent altering medical treatment" bs
on top of that we have this shit
"In exceptional cases where a request to social transition is agreed, children, teachers or staff at a school should not be required to adopt the use of preferred pronouns and there must be no sanction, verbal or otherwise."
so even if you're fucking allowed to socially transition people can straight up misgender you with no fucking consequences. they are legitimately making it so transphobia cant be punished
there is so much more fucked up stuff in this thing as well but you can read that yourself
they are going to kill trans kids if this goes through. they fucking know that. i have the privilege of being out to my parents and them being tolerant but so many closeted trans kids, friends of mine included, wouldn't be able to safely come out even in school. and i know personally how shitty your mental health can get in that situation.
the intent of this guidance is simply put, not in the interest of ‘protecting children’, but in the further marginalisation of an already extremely vulnerable group. they're trying to wipe us out.
uk students, please inform your teachers of what this guidance will do and get them to oppose it in feedback. others just try and spread the word

You know what would be a really interesting plot twist?
If Mizu actually did find her father and it turned out he just wasn't evil. Like, if the man, even as a foreigner, was a genuinely decent person.
It would be interesting to see the moral struggle for Mizu after her whole life's mission was to eliminate the guy. Plus, they vilify the white men so much but it would be interesting if one of them was just a man, not a colonialist horror.

I know it's fiction but it makes absolutely no sense for the batfam not to have any significant (visible) scars/disabilities at all. They get beat up nightly for years on end. They leap over buildings all the time, they've never fucked up their knee? Knees are so easy to fuck up and difficult to fix. Dick is an acrobat, they have notoriously bad joint health and at his age he shouldnt be able to pull off half the shit he does. Absolutely ridiculous they have no scars or brain damage. THEY DONT WEAR HEAD PROTECTION OF ANY KIND. They're getting punched in the face, thrown off of buildings etc etc ALL THE TIME. No brain damage?? No CTE??? Not even missing teeth?? thinking about the fact that if Neil had died in Baltimore, literally none of Andrew's family would even know he was broken as much as he was by it. Like they saw him choke Kevin, but even after Baltimore, Nicky assumed it was just a fling.

This'll be a weird question but I've been thinking about this since I watched a video discussing hot takes within FNAF and wanna discuss it with other people.
How do you feel about people who still cling to the idea of Roxy being a narcissistic bully because of the stuff she'd say while hunting Gregory, despite being hacked into/possessed?
Cause honestly, I think it's funny how apparently Roxy gets flack for saying some mean stuff while under the influence of a hack. At the same time, people will go to the ends of the earth to defend William Afton or Monty (if he really did kill Glamrock Bonnie I mean).
It's SO fucking stupid and I hate it 💀
And I fully agree with the last part, people out here (youtube and twitter people) treat Roxy as a full on evil bitch while defending and wanting to fuck a literal child murder and abuser. And we don't know if Monty killed Bonnie or not, but if he did, no one's gonna say anything lmao. (Even people who think he actually did kill him, they still love him and are fully riding him, but nooo RoXy StIlL bAd Bc ShE mEaN 😡😡🤬🤬)
I guarantee you that if Monty (or a "male" animatronic) was in Roxy's place, no one would say jack shit and some people will only think he's so hOT 😫😫 for it
I really don't see Roxy as a narcissist, the game clearly showed us that Roxy deals with a lot of self esteem issues, and I think she just talks to herself so she can feel better. And the whole "bullying" thing when talking to Gregory, I really believe it was just her being hacked by Vanessa/Glitchtrap to get to Gregory.
AND RUIN LITERALLY SHOWED US THAT??? Roxy clearly had a close relationship with Cassie, and there's a reason why she's Cassie's favourite. Roxy apologized for scaring her when she recognized her voice, and when she heard her again, she welcomed her back and talked to her so sweetly and was just so gentle with her?? The growth in physical intimacy this season between them has been so important to my viewing experience. They level of comfort that they bring each other and that being shown in the way they so easily reach out for one another when something happens shows how much they trust and depend on each other for stability. Making sure their partner is feeling safe and secure even if everything around them is unstable. The touches between them provide grounding in different states of panic.

just thinking about how this house (if you can call the box on top of their platform a house) is fit & ramon’s . not just ramon’s house, not just fit’s house or the cave he sleeps in, not an elevator shaft hurriedly turned into a place to sleep . how originally, fit didn’t think to put his bed in the house - it was made to keep ramon safe first and foremost and then built to include the valuables chest - it was ramon that picked up fit’s bed to put inside too, because just like how ramon's life is valuable to fit, fit's is valuable to ramon . how ramon put up horns outside of the house just like his old one had, which happens to be one of the things fit (and not spreen) did for the build . how it's “temporary” and ugly and isolated (because it's safer that way, and survival comes before all else) but it's their house for both of them together .
