Very rare munday post ?! ( I did it before going to therapy so I should be K.O when it is posted dezhdnned )

The first time I posted online ever was in the mlp askblog community/fandom, I'm now out of it and don't plan to go back but @mod-jazzy idea was so sweet and fun to think about so here (～￣▽￣)～

Wait, the what? How do you know about that-??

"I think I made those back when we were still going through the deity war," They said but seemed unsure. "I could be wrong though! That was like a bazillion years ago. I'm still pretty mad I was regenerating the whole time! I missed the funny little mortals fighting each other with their magic, that would have been so fun to watch!" The Hoopa suddenly crossed their arms in annoyance. "I still think it was pretty stupid Xerneas and Yveltal stopped the whole thing! I wanted to see some bloodshed!!" They gave an ominous grin, Sirius however was staring at them with disgust, "What in God's name is wrong with you." Journey just gave a shrug, "I dunno! Ask Arceus, They made me." "Hmmm..."

Sirius looked surprised at first, but his expression quickly shifted into a glare upon realizing he was being insulted.

"You know being a U-Gate Engineer isn't easy, Journey."

The Meowstic glared at them, they were starting to become fed up with the Hoopa's childishness. "Seriously? You're bored? Good gods, I should be teaching young and eager college students right now, Journey! Not babysitting you, an incompetent, indolent and frankly stubborn Demi-god." "But, No. Because of that and having to sit here and babysit you constantly, I must continue to be the only technician qualified enough to do work on U-gates!" He sighed, before pointing at them. "You should be very grateful I keep on top of our jobs work queue. You stupidly created thousands of these gates and didn't even think of the consequences and upkeep required to keep them--" The Hoopa cut off his rant. "Yeah, yeah. Okay."

"Oh. Okay, first name calling and now you're gaslighting me again?" He put up a paw in dismissal, Sirius looked a bit hurt by their words. "And about something I told you in complete sincerity? Really mature Journey. Stop it, I'm not stupid enough to fall for your tricks anymore. That, there, is why we have a 'No Talking' rule on repair jobs now." "Calling me a nerd is very demeaning of my efforts and I do not appreciate it." Sirius was staring daggers at the Hoopa, they however seemed disinterested in what he had to say. "Same old, same old. You're still a nerd, just with a fancy title."

Sirius turned his attention back to the Simbobeon, his irritation with the Hoopa was quick to melt away.

"It's my field of work and I take great pride in my knowledge of it. I have made many contributions to the greater knowledge and study of U-gates." He gave a cheerful smile. "I've even written various papers on them, held conferences and much more… In other words, I am considered the specialist on them. So, do your worst, If I don't know the answer I'm happy to investigate and get back to you with one."

→ Sirius happily invites any questions Lief or others may have regarding the Universe Gates, seems he'll do his best to answer anything asked about them! → Universe Gate questions will be prioritized and likely will be answered primarily in text format. Other asked questions will continue normally on the side.

as fun as that was, and i would never stop doing fun gift art for the world

its disheartening, and hurts, to try and get engagement from people. to struggle to get asks for weeks. and i know im not the most active blogger, but as soon as i offer free art, i get swamped with asks. where is that beforehand? i dont know what to say entirely, it just makes me depressed. the fact that people are so quick to jump on my ask memes but wont talk to me or this blog otherwise. i dont know what to do

I don’t want to tell anyone that it’s bad to ask for it, or that it’s bad to receive it. Because that’s not what I’m trying to say. But it just sucks to get low engagement and people only interact with you to receive art, often without giving you anything in some way. It’s fine if it happens sometimes, but it’s exhausting when it’s repeated. It makes you feel like people only want you for free gifts that you put time and effort into but won’t give you the same effort

I guess I’d just like to encourage everyone to send regular asks to each other, even if it’s on anon. That’s all I’d want to see not even just for myself but mostly for others

#again I know I’m not super active or have the most posts #but I’ve had this blog for 3 years and have been in the community since 2018 #again it was really fun but considering that I barely get anything for my regular Mundays and have to make regular ask calls #I guess I’m not really asking for much #even if people giving each other stuff like equal attention is my ideal #but I suppose if this trend keeps continuing and I post less stuff like the drawing meme #you’ll know why #I have an ask answer ready to post tomorrow too #my life has just been crazy but Khaos has always had such a chill blog to update #im quite shy and I know I’m not very outgoing but I’ve been around for 5+ years and this just keeps happening #I’m not blaming anyone either or anything this isn’t targeted or whatever #but I’m just already dealing with stuff and I wanted to say something finally #I don’t like making posts like this but I guess I deserve to be able to for once #this is also not the first time it’s happened it happens with a lot of memes I post that are art related so yknow

MUNDAY LORE POST - Light and Dark Stones

DRAGON STONES 0112 CE Unovan Nacrene Museum 0005.A/B Replica by Edge Precision Works

These dark and light stones are said to hold the dormant forms of the Legendary Dragons, Reshiram and Zekrom.

The creation of these stones is still one shrouded in mystery, but the leading theory is that the dragons destroyed one another in battle at the end of the Second Unovan Civil War. These two stones were all that remained of the carnage, and they changed into the light and dark stones we know of, today.

Other popular theories amongst anthropologists are: the dragons were not destroyed, but put in slumber by Kyurem; once met with a king or queen they seem worthy, they will awaken from these stones; and that this is the template used for the modern day pokeball.
