School Bus Graveyard headcanons no one asked for but will still get 😤

Ashlyn has autism. Honestly pretty much canon at this point, considering what we've seen of her, but still

The whole group took a hot second to adjust, but they are now so accommodating to it

Obviously there's the noise issues, but they also recognize when she needs to be alone, and they don't bother her too much about her being so asocial

I’m projecting but I just love these guys

ANYWAY, on a completely different subject, I think Taylor is actually a really good singer! She's just very shy about it

I also think Aiden can definitely play drumset

Top that off with Tyler canonically playing guitar, all you need to do is give Ben a bass or something and then they're basically just a little band!

I think they would be called the Phantoms or some shit like that

Ashlyn can do backup vocals, and I love my boy Logan but he's giving stage manager vibes a little bit lol

Someone's gotta do it

Taylor and Tyler share their clothes all the time. We already see that they have the same room, which most likely means the same closet, and since the two of them have a relatively similar build (and thus, similar clothing sizes), they just don't really bother separating their clothes (probably why they're matching so often)

Aiden does so much stupid rich kid shit. Not obnoxiously, but just out of a lack of understanding

Probably says some shit to the others like "Wait, your parents didn't get you a car? I know we can't drive yet, but you can still like... take pictures with it."

Bro has no idea he's that rich

The twins absolutely love going over to Ashlyn's place to get self-defense training from Mike and Emma. With their father being gone for a while, and their mom being not all there (for lack of a better description), it's been a long time since they've had a stable parental figure in their lives

Ashlyn's parents are just so nice to them and treat them like their own kids. I just think it's something they needed in their life that they found in an unexpected place :(

Ben loves to paint! He took up art and drawing ever since he lost his voice, and finds painting specifically very calming

He's been working on portraits for each of his friends that are all lying half-finished around his room

Even when he finishes them, though, he probably wouldn't show them for a while because he's quite nervous about it

If he DOES show them, he would definitely give Taylor her's first, because that's who he feels closest to

She cries

I feel like Logan, with working at the flower shop and all that, probably spends a bit of time putting together little bouquets for his friends

Not as like a grand show of affection, but just little gifts to show his appreciation for them being around and caring about him

Probably personalizes them a LOT too. Not only does he coordinate them to match the favorite colors/flowers of the person he's making them for, but he knows all the symbolic meanings behind each flower

Like, for example, I bet he gets yellow roses for Ben to signify friendship, and pink roses for Ashlyn to signify gratitude, that sort of stuff

His love language is gift giving and he's never had friends as close as these guys, leave him alone >:[

DILF Luke headcanons / story draft

🌱modern day AU🌱

A/N: It's outrageous how there is so much content for modern day dilf Anakin but basically none for dilf Luke and I'm here to fix it😤

I hope you enjoy this little collection of headcanons, ideas and scenarios <3

part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5

• think about dilf!Luke who is in his late 30s to early 40s

• he lives in a nice house together with his adult child

• before you meet for the very first time you don't know anything about him at all

• nor about his former partner for that matter

• assuming you are friends with Luke's child, you may get enough information to know that his wife/their mother is no longer in the picture

• are their parents still married but they're simply not living together anymore?

• did she leave him?

• did they have to get a divorce?

• did something happen to her?

• you don't want to pry and, of course, you are sure your friend will open up once they feel like talking about it

• there are so many other things to share and discuss anyways, so why, of all things, would you talk about their father's love life?

• (soon though you'll find you want to talk about nothing else)

• on the rare occasions your respective families do come up in conversation, it's always clear they have a really great relationship with their dad

• Luke cares for his kid a lot and wants to be involved in what they do to support them, no matter how old they are

• so naturally he doesn't mind them inviting their friends over, which is how you'd get to know him in the first place

• that's just the thing though, I think he has some kind of reputation among the people who have already met him

• there is lots of talk surrounding his person, as well as many circulating rumors

• while his immediate family always describes him as very loving, he doesn't seem to show this side of him to others very often, if at all

• nobody has ever witnessed him smile, meanwhile his family say he's very fun to be around

• he's a walking mystery

• while he is evermore polite and hospitable he keeps a careful distance between himself and anyone who may try to engage in conversation

• even when someone stays over at the Skywalker's house for a longer period of time, maybe for dinner, they don't see him again until they bid their goodbye

• he's just rather intimidating with how stern and standoffish he tends to come across

• nobody knows what he does for work but he and his family seem to be well off

• so when your friend invites you to their house for the first time you can't help but be excited

• at the same time you are pretty nervous, wishing to make a good impression

• what is going on with this man that everybody keeps talking and speculating about?

• as soon as he opens the door and you meet his eyes, you know why

• he's handsome, almost intimidatingly so

• he carries himself swiftly, his movements elegant

• he towers above you and your heart picks up speed when he shakes your much smaller hand

• he offers to help you out of your jacket, then gives you a nod and leaves you waiting for your friend as you pick up your jaw from the floor

• at work he wears dark suits and gleaming, black shoes

• though he's always nicely dressed, even at home

• he's often seen wearing soft plaid or monochrome shirts

• during the warmer days or when he's busy in the kitchen he rolls up the sleeves and leaves open a few buttons at the top

• on rare occasions he wears his shirt open or forgoes it completely during especially hot summer days

• only his family and later you will see him like this though

• during autumn or winter he adds cardigans or knitted sweaters and pairs them with neat jeans, alternatively with corduroy or cloth pants

• from time to time he puts on glasses

• of course he owns sweatpants and simple t-shirts as well, however they only make an appearance at night

• or when he's going for a jog around the neighborhood

• he does so quite often

• as expected it takes him a long while to warm up to you

• in fact you thought he never would as nobody else in your friend group managed to pull off this feat

• but depending on how you befriended his kid and how close the both of you are growing over time, it's only natural you like to share lots of your free time together

• you may have met at college or university and study together regularly

• or maybe you work at the same job and like to spend your evenings sharing stories and talking about your day

• so why would you meet at your place when their home is so conveniently close and quicker to reach?

• ultimately Luke can't avoid you, and what your presence awakens in him, forever

• eventually he stops disappearing as quickly as he used to after greeting you and instead stays around a few minutes for polite small talk

• when in the beginning it was stilted and somewhat uncomfortable, after a while it starts to feel like he's somewhat interested in what you have to say about the weather or your day, depending on what he asks you about

• so whenever you come over now you are nervous for a very different reason than you used to be

• does he like the way you dress?

• and your perfume?

• and how you did your hair?

• what's his type anyways, would he ever consider you pretty?

• never does he show his attraction to you in any way though, so you are left guessing

• he never answers your questions either, may it be those you ask aloud and those you keep a secret

• if he does respond to them then only in really cryptic ways that make no sense at all

• you have a hard time telling whether he's messing with you or not

• you do realize however that he appears to have grown somewhat fond of you

• your conversations not only grow more natural but also longer

• he seems to enjoy spending this short amount of time with you that it takes your friend to come downstairs or to get ready before they whisk you away with them

• maybe over the holidays you spend more and more time with your friend and thus at their home

• (if you get to see their father, that's just a nice added bonus)

• and at some point Luke starts to check in on the both of you while you're visiting

• unbeknownst to you he has never done so before

• he'll ask what you're doing and if he can help?

• what are you working on?

• do you need anything?

• something to drink? A snack?

• he'll bring you tea and some cookies either way

• also, how long are you staying?

• what would you like to eat?

• he often cooks in the evening and you're welcome to join him and his kid at dinner

• shortly after he starts sending his greetings through your friend

• you learn that apparently he asks about you occasionally, especially when you haven't been to their house for a longer period of time

• he mostly wants to know how you're doing

• how are your studies or work projects coming along?

• if you need help, he'd definitely take a look, he's well read after all

• he wants to support the business you work for

• would you mind if he came by some time?

• when will you visit again?

• your friend tells you jokingly that he thinks you're being a good influence on them

• you receive a warm welcome once you are able to accept one of your friends invitations again

• or at least warm in comparison to how it used to be before

• after all he's still an imposing figure, even though you've grown somewhat accustomed to his all consuming presence

• it's obvious now, even to you, that he's suddenly lingering in your vicinity, coming up with reasons to stay for longer than before

• for longer than necessary

• and slowly you see the person come to light your friend told you about all this time ago

• it's fleeting and still subdued but you manage to catch little glimpses of it here and there

• he absolutely makes dad jokes and silently smiles to himself when your friend dramatically rolls their eyes at them

• he likes to celebrate special occasions by taking your friend and you out for ice cream or a milk shake

• no, you aren't too old for that, let him buy you something nice!

• you may call him by his first name now

• (after all this time it's weird to suddenly say Luke and often a Sir slips out despite his offer)

• one evening he teaches the two of you how to waltz around the kitchen

• he starts allowing you to see him in more vulnerable moments as well

• so when you let yourself in through the back door now, you may find him taking a nap in the living room

• he looks untroubled and so much younger when he's asleep

• there is a pool in the backyard and during summer you're able to sneak a look at his athletic body while he's sunbathing or swimming his laps

• unfortunately (or luckily?) he tends to wear really tight swim shorts that leave little to nothing to the imagination

• once he caught you staring and winked at you, asking whether you liked his outfit

• (your friend yelled at him for that)

• you weren't able to look him in the eyes for a while after and have yet to recover

• there comes a day during winter when you forget the time and suddenly it's late and very dark outside

• to make it worse it's heavily raining

• you're already turning to leave saying goodbye to your friend

• they ask you to be careful and to call them when you've made it home safely

• you give your promise but before you can even start down the front steps you are stopped

• Luke is not having it

• either you'll stay over night or he'll drive you home, he won't make compromises

• flustered you ask him to drive you home and he does after properly chastising your friend for not coming straight to him

• you sit in the back because you're too shy to use the passenger seat but he doesn't say anything about it

• to your embarrassment he opened the car door for you and offered his hand to help you get in, all the while shielding you from the rain

• you took it

• you're scared that, for some reason, he's angry at you

• you watch him closely but he remains impassive, his expression unreadable

• it's quiet for the whole car ride and in your mind you're practicing how to say thank you when he'll eventually drop you off

• the sight of him, even from diagonally behind, is mesmerizing

• the passing cars and street lights illuminate him beautifully and when he has to look to the side before making a turn they highlight his sharp jawline

• he insists on taking you to your front door and only leaves when you're safely inside

• after that he'll regularly ask whether you wish to sleep over or want to be driven home

• he keeps to himself how often he thinks and worries about you, though it shows through his actions

• he sits you down and makes sure you have his number saved in your phone

• he tells you to text or call him whenever

• don't be afraid to ask to be picked up, he'll come immediately when you need him to

• from now on though, you will always be sitting beside him in the front, it's not a question

• he likes to listen to your stuttering breath when he rests his hand on your thigh

• he regularly asks about your well-being

• "Have you eaten yet?"

• one day he slips up and, while deep in thought, accidentally calls you sweetheart

• unbeknownst to you that's what he has been calling you in his mind for weeks as he's slowly growing more and more possessive

Peter Parker Jealousy Headcanon

OKAY

I'm looking to my crystal ball of headcanons and there's about three million jealousy ones spinning around in there. I'm going to close my eyes and grab one out at random...

You and Peter are friends. College. Senior Year. You run the photography club and convinced him to join sophomore year after you found an old camera in his dorm room. You've been besties ever since. And, by besties, I mean Peter follows you around everywhere and you let him.

Peter doesn't talk to anyone else unless he's forced to.

I'm picturing depressed and disheveled Peter. After Gwen's death. He took a year or two off from college. When he finally attended, he kept to himself most of the time even though he was a part of the club. He only joined because you asked him to. Plus, taking pictures is a fairly solitary thing anyway. He'd do anything you asked him to.

None of your friends really like him. They think he's kind of mean and they're not wrong. He likes to sit and sulk and glare at people.

But, for some reason, he hates everyone except for you.

He always looks like he's two days past his shaving due date but never actually commits to the full beard. Permanent scruff. Constant messy bed head in need of a cut. Sad boy eyes. Same pair of jeans he's worn for the past two weeks. Wrinkled shirt. You get the idea.

The first year you two became friends, you thought the friendship would turn into something more. You kept hoping he would ask you out on a date. When he never did, you worked up the courage to ask him yourself. His response was awkward and it didn't seem like he was super interested so you quickly let it drop. You figured that he only wanted to be friends. You tried to let that be fine. You tried to push away your feelings for the beautiful emo trash human.

OOPS THIS GOT LONG READ MORE TIME

By senior year you'd all but squashed those feelings into the earth. (or so you liked to pretend)

You invited Peter to a party some friends are having at their new apartment off campus. He says he'll "show up if he has time" and you wonder what else this man could possibly be doing because you're his only friend. But you agree with it and decide to head off to the party alone. If Peter shows up, he shows up. If he doesn't, well, you're not going to waste your time begging him.

He does show up. Conveniently right as you do. Almost as if he planned it that way. You two enter and immediately can tell that the party is already getting out of hand. There's a lot of people you don't know in this apartment. People you don't think your friend invited. They probably heard about it from someone and decided to crash. Whatever. It's not your house. Let's get drinks.

Peter and you find the drink table and get busy. Shots shots shots! You're starting to feel good. Happy. Bubbly. You want to dance with the crowd of people middle of the room. You try to pull Peter over there. He refuses.

He gives you a scowl and shakes his head.

"I don't dance!" He shouts over the music.

"You suck," You shout back.

You leave him there to pout on his own and squeeze your way into the mass of sweaty people to dance. You start to lose yourself in the beat of the music. The drinks are spinning around in your head to amp up your happiness. It feels good.

Now some guy is dancing with you. He's grinding up behind you. You turn to look at him. You've never seen him before in your life but he's cute enough. At least the drinks are telling you he's cute and you don't really care. It's been a long time since you've gotten with anyone. Your last boyfriend broke up with you three years ago. You'd been pining over Peter for a while. It was time to have your needs met.

You start dancing back with the stranger. His hands are all over you. You like the feel of being appreciated by someone else. He's making you feel sexy. Beautiful. You turn around in his arms and start to kiss. Right there in middle of everyone. You don't care anymore.

You secretly hope Peter is watching.

And he is.

But he's not just watching. He's glaring. His fist tightens around red plastic cup in his hand so tightly that the contents spill out over the top and the plastic cracks and crumbles. He tosses the crunched up cup off to the side. His jaw is tight. He can't pull his eyes away from you. He wants to look away but he can't. They're glued on to you. Blazing into the back of your head. Even over all the music and noise he can hear the tiny moan of approval in the back of your throat.

The sound sets off all the raging alarms in his head. Fire burns behind his eyes. His shoulders are squared off and tense. And then he sees it.

The stranger, with his greedy arms wrapped around you, slides his hands down your waist. He flips up the bottom of your skirt, right there in the middle of everyone, to expose your underwear to whoever might be looking. A thong. The string is lost between your perfectly plump cheeks. Your ass is on full display should anyone decide to look down. He lets his hands grab fist full of your cheeks, his fingers digging into your flesh, before the skirt flops back down over his wrists to hide the rest from view.

And you're moaning. Kissing him harder. Shoving your tongue down his throat. You like it. You like that he takes control. You like that doesn't care who could see. He's not ashamed of you. He's not afraid. Your heart is spiking. Your skin is getting hotter. You're horny. You're sick of having no one but your vibrator for the past three years. So you whisper into the strangers ear to bring you to the bedroom.

Peter can hear it. He can hear and feel everything you're doing because he's zeroed in on you. You are his target. His senses are set on you and only you. The rest of the room and the people in it have faded away. All he sees is you.

He's watching as you take the strangers hand and lead him through the crowds. You're headed to the bedroom. Peter can't let you reach it. His heart is pounding. His breath is tight in his throat. He can't let you get to that bedroom.

In mere seconds he is across the room. His hand has grabbed a fistful of the stranger's collared shirt. He's throwing him backwards. Hard. Away from you.

Your hand breaks contract with the enemy. There's a brief sense of relief for Peter until he sees the confused shock in your eyes. You're glancing wildly between himself and somewhere off behind him.

The room has gone silent besides the steady beat of the music.

Peter blinks, his other senses starting to come back into focus. There's no longer only you. He can hear the music again. The hushed whispers. He can see the other people. They're all staring at him. No one is dancing anymore.

He turns to look. The stranger has been flung across the entire room and crashed into a kitchen cabinet. Its fallen off the hinges as he holds the back of his head in shock. When he pulls his hand away, there's blood on his palm.

Peter couldn't remember throwing him that far. He only meant to grab him away from you. He didn't mean to lose control of his strength like that. He turned to look back you, expecting to see the same horror as everyone else at the party. Instead he saw something else.

The corners of your lips turned into a smirk. There was a spark behind your eyes. The same one he saw threes years ago on the day you asked him on a date. An expectant hopefulness. He already let you down once. He wasn't going to do it again.

Before anyone could react, he'd taken your hand and fled from the scene. The night air was cool. It refreshed his lungs and helped steady his breath. He pulled you along behind him. Picking a direction and just going with it. Anywhere was better than back there.

You stayed quiet. Afraid that if you spoke, it would break whatever revelation he was having.

Finally, four blocks from the scene. He stopped to turn and face you.

"I-" he hesitated. He didn't know what he wanted to say. He didn't know how to tell you that you were his best friend. He didn't know how to tell you that you were the only person in his life who he wanted to keep. He didn't know how to say that he was terrified of losing you to. He didn't know how to open himself up and let you in without bringing along the pain of his past. He didn't know if he could treat you the way you deserved. im gonna start making doodles trying to reclaim my TF F/Os that i've lost, maybe once a week or once every two weeks... or once a month?? i dont know, i will try to keep some consistency but i really need to start slow on this. here's to hoping that drawing them every once in a while will make even just the smallest difference.

im so sick of associating these characters with my abuser and i'm so sick of the immediate fight or flight response that i get when just looking at pictures of TF characters or even the voice actors. i have tried just about everything... therapy, medication, exercise, watching a few clips from the shows, buying cameos, commissioning art/fics, talking to voice actors in person at conventions... nothing has helped me get better at all. i tried giving up on TF entirely, throwing out/giving away all of my TF merch, refusing to touch the franchise, but that has only made me more and more miserable as time has passed. it has been over a year since [insert the most horrific experiences ever here] happened to me and since i associated that with a long list of things, TF included. and im! sick! of feeling bad! so! if im gonna be miserable no matter what, then i might as well try to get better, right?? drawing my F/Os loving me has never failed me before, so here's to hoping it isn't gonna fail me now. i am quite the stubborn bitch and i refuse to allow my main coping mechanism i've used for 2 decades to remain tainted forever and ever 😤😤

these will be the shakiest, shittiest doodles imaginable, but i think drawing the robots i miss so much at least once a month can help me rewire my brain into believing they're safe again and they love me and i'm not in danger. i think the best thing that will help me is drawing my Ryan F/Os interacting with them as "proof" that they're safe to be around, that they've "approved of" them, will help me slowly reclaim them. fake it til you make it as they say. let's try this for maybe just a couple of months as a slow start and see how it goes :/

any TF doodles will be tagged as "reclaiming robots tag" and nothing else - free to blacklist it if you dont wanna see. i'll most likely be rarely posting these but jic //shrug

anyway. yay. attempts number one and two. i like to think barbie and ken stop by the starflower meadow every now and then because stsc summons them across the multiverse, asking them how i'm doing, if i'm safe, if i miss him at all. wow i am shaking so bad. ha ha haaa. these took about ten?? minutes?? so woohoo to ten minutes of drawing TF. im proud of myself for trying. even if i dont go through with this and end up not being able to draw TF ever again, at least i managed this one single post. if i keep this up, maybe a year from now, or two years or five years or whatever, i'll be able to handle it. i don't even expect to hyperfixate on TF ever again because my self shipping will never ever be the same w/ them -- i'll never interact with the fandom again, i'll never reblog fanart or gifsets or anything like that ever again, if i even somehow managed to feel good enough to actually throw myself back into the shows -- but i want to think i'll feel indifferent to it one day. to not have that fight or flight response. that is my goal. literally the bare fucking minimum <3

anyway. i'm super nauseous. this is so incredibly hard! holy shit!!! but that's why i have to do this. to quote pedro pascal, i am going to have a panic attack and i am going to leave 👍✨

(BTW I am still gonna stay offline for a few more days. I am back from vacation but I am SO burnt out I don't want to interact with dms/my inbox yet. I just wanted to post this just to get it out of my system and let it disappear into the void. I gotta get this off my mind but im too lazy to make a fanfiction of it-

Twst au where yuu is one of those realistic cake makers. 🎂

Everything is the same until chapter 1 when they get to see the school kitchen and the baking stuff and they go insane.

- Yuu makes a cake of Riddle first that's oyster sauce flavored

- Yuu doesn't wake Grim up for the day, makes a Grim cake, and in the middle of class cuts into it and starts eating it

- For chapter 3 makes a cake of the photo Azul wanted and presents it to him as part of the plan

-the serving dish and the table presented with said picture is also cake

-Yuu begins making and placing cake all around campus

-Rook loosing his mind after trying to follow Yuu around and grabbing the third Yuu cake

-Deuce having whole conversations with cake Yuu before realizing

-Yuu passive aggressively destroying cake Crowley in front of him

-Floyd being delighted by cake him

-Cater secretly hates it (its something straight out of his nightmares) but still posts is it cake videos to his social media

-Yuu replaces Leona's blankets with cake and he is pissed 😤 but still takes a nap on top of the cake blankets.

-Yuu makes a deal with Sam to start selling cake items

-Yuu gives everyone extreme cake paranoia

- Yuu makes Ruggie donuts but they're actually cake

-How much of the campus can Yuu turn into cake with three days of no sleep and unrestricted kitchen access game

- Ace makes Yuu mad and they invite him over. They're sitting in a chair in the middle of the poorly lit room staring at him when he comes in. Casually they cut into the book in front of them. Then the chair. Then the lamp. Then their hand. Then their face. It's all cake. Ace runs out screaming

-Self care is making another cake that looks like you and hiding it around campus 💅😌

more ccoming from my brain because!!!!!!! i just got out of work and reading your reply made me so needy for domestic things

having a big group of friends that are all so close to one another where it's basically a huge QPR with the add-on of everyone being comfortable for casual sex and having babies together.

of course there are those who have come in already pregnant from a one night stand or coming out of a relationship not wanting to be alone. no matter who you are or if you're already pregnant the group takes everyone in with open arms. it's a perfect place. nobody is without food, a place to sleep, and more love than they could imagine.

the group chat is always filled with baby pictures of the nuggets doing silly stuff or videos of stuff that happens during their days. there's also at least three people video chatting sometime during the day because they're either on their break at work or just out the kids down for a nap. i can also imagine the craziness of multiple people in the friend group getting together for lamaze class all in different gestational ranges as they probably take up half the class size. and those ridiculous photos of all their bellies with captions talking about how cute those bumps look.

the clothes too!!!!!! imagining everyone sharing clothes, getting matching clothes, and everyone finding the best clothes for someone that looked so cute they had to buy it. there's at least one article of clothing that is the same which would be matching hats or even onsies that somehow pair together the group. no idea what it would be but i just like the idea of there being one thing that pairs together all the kids in the group since they would all basically be siblings

also where can i find this friend group so this could be my life????????

Seriously I’ve scared more people than I can count even if I don’t mean to, so imagine Spot Colon intentionally trying to be scary! To quote Yoda: ‘size matters not!’ Spot Colon could kick everyone’s ass if he wanted!

I luv how all the other Brooklyn newsies are just waiting intimidatingly in the background for Spot to either give the all clear or the o-k to soak Davey.

How did numerous fan theories about Spot’s key get started? 🗝️

Seize the Day is on fire! I luv the quick footwork and acro work in the confined space even though the dance number could’ve been held in a bigger area.

How in the world does nobody notice the newsies hiding out around the refuge or when Davey rides on the back of the carriage? There’s cops literally 10 feet from them and they still don’t see a group of kids?

Even when Jack’s yelling he’s still less angry then Jeremy’s angry Jack.

All the Refuge gives you to sleep on is a rusty bed frame? Ouch!

‘We was beat when we was born.’ Yikes Jack got some dark thoughts. 😳

It doesn’t take going through a whole day sulking and getting yelled at by Katherine for 92sies Jack to change his mind, it only takes the Delancys beating up the Jacobs for him to finally say no.

Once And For All is catchier than the Livesies version

I like how they show all the different kids at odds and ends jobs, as well as how some kids back then didn’t know how to read.

Only thing is I wish they would’ve talked about the details with the deal with Pulitzer

Sarah doesn’t need to beg Jack to stay, Jack figures it out that he needs to stay.

Overall I’d want to know what the original newsies would think of this. I mean just imagine the ones from 1899 watching this and thinking ‘I don’t think we ever did this much singing and dancing.’

And now to take a moment for the 92sies who did not make it into Livesies: Snipeshooter, Boots, Bumlets, PieEater, Snoddy, Itey, Snitch, Swifty, Jake, Dutchy, Skittery, Snaps, Tumbler, and Flipper. They will be missed. Instead they will be replaced by new newsies that are far more stupid and annoying, but on the bright side are very good dancers. 😔

I feel like 92sies isn’t talked about as much because it’s more dated and not as recent. When people mention that current stars like Ben Cook are in Livesies then everyone talks about it like it’s the best thing since sliced bread. But when people say Christian Bale is in 92sies then they just say ‘oh yeah, he’s Batman’ and just leave it at that. Just because 92sies doesn’t have the A+ Broadway dancing doesn’t mean it’s not a good musical,

I'm loving this discussion of Tom and Tim . Destiny how for certain you are. Tom and Timothee are really close friends that have never been seen out by no one before excluding that phone call on a radio program! Would you agree that's a little strange no one has seen or witness them hanging together ?

I never said that Tom and Timmy were "really close friends" Anon. I've always said that they're industry friends/buddies who like each other and respect each other's work. That's it!

They've never even worked with each other on a filming project before, so right now Timmy is probably a little closer to those he's actually worked with in the industry, wouldn't you say?

With that said, I definitely DON'T think that they hate each other, like fans in these silly stupid fandom wars try to claim. 🙄😒

And the fact that he's worked with Zendaya twice is pretty much evidence that Tom has become very familiar with Timmy just by extension since we all know Z has talked to Timmy about Tom.

The very fact that Tom even has Timmy's number and Timmy has Tom's number in the first place when they've NEVER even worked together before is a HUGE sign (imo) that they're cool with each other and are friends on some level!

I'm picturing both Ed and Stede being like 🧐😠😤😡 at Izzy and Sam, Ed because he doesn't like that Izzy's attention and adoration is on someone else (and maybe he has an old grudge with Sam) and Stede because he feels like Sam is stealing his whole Gentleman Pirate thing (even though people keep pointing out to him that Sam was doing it first, which does NOT go over well, they're completely different in that Stede is doing it RIGHT), and if Izzy's into that why wasn't he into Stede?!? Ed agrees, it's VERY rude that Izzy wasn't into Stede and he has half a mind to tell him so but Lucius is like oh my god STOP.

So Ed and Stede spend all their time creeping around eavesdropping and spying and bitching to each other (like Stede spying on Jack and Ed) and discussing What Must Be Done About This and planning a fuckery to Get Izzy Back and they don't even notice that Izzy and Sam just, like, went off to get (re)married.

I would pay to be able to read a fic like this, I really would. I've only run into a couple of fics where Izzy moves onto a new love interest and Ed actually has to deal with that rather than somehow winning him back. (Granted, this is probably because outside the SteddyHands circle of ships, I only read Izzy/OC and Izzy/Other Historical or Famous Fictional Pirate. Maybe it happens a lot in Izzy/Actual Character in the Show fics.) The concept of a fic where it seems like a textbook SteddyHands set-up, only for Izzy to choose the third option and especially for it to be Sam is fucking delectable. And infinite bonus points for Lucius at his wit's end because if Ed and Stede had arrived at whatever-this-is MONTHS AGO maybe things would have gone a lot smoother. But as it is he's team Izzy/Not This Bullshit now and playing look-out while they take a dinghy to elope or whatever. And Ed and Stede being so caught up in their own drama together even when it's nominally focused on someone else that they don't actually notice what's happening with that someone is perfectly on-brand.

God, there are so many good possibilities for how Stede and Sam might interact. I feel like Sam's a nice guy who'd be all "Same hat!" at Stede, especially post-character development Stede who's given up all his inherited wealth and is gaining his new riches in the proper pirate-y and looking good doing it. Which just makes it funnier if Stede gets all snitty about it. God forbid anyone stresses that Sam is called the Prince of Pirates, therefore outranking the Gentleman Pirate at least by technical definition. And there's historical precedent for an Ed-Sam grudge with irl Sam mutinying against Hornigold and being voted captain while Ed stayed loyal to the old man. And I wouldn't want Sam to be the wholly innocent party here either. Like, I can see him sincerely trying to get along and be a gentleman at first, but when he's getting passive aggression and Kraken death glares for his troubles, he decides it's no fun to be the bigger man. He should get to be a bitch, too. It's also funnier if Izzy is the most mature person in all of this after Lucius.

What's funny is that in my personal AU, Sam and Stede got started on the whole romance novel cover pirate thing about the same time. Sam's been sailing and ship-hopping and treasure-hunting his whole life, but there was a huge gap in his piracy career between Hornigold's cabin boy and the Robin Hood of the seas. This is so I can have him be as historically inaccurately middle-aged as the others while keeping his whirlwind success when he does seriously try his hand at piracy while still having it be plausible that his old friends don't even know he's still alive. He and Stede get along well enough that Stede's all giddy about Izzy being smitten with him. Ed is... getting better at the whole "Izzy is allowed to have other friends" thing, but this is a potential boyfriend and it's Sam who Ed's been butting heads with since puberty, so he doesn't take it as gracefully as Stede when it's pointed out to him. And Sam is trying to play nice with Ed because he's got a lot to answer for for letting everyone think he was dead, but like. He is eventually going to ask why Izzy is missing a toe and eventually someone is going to give him the honest answer.

I want everyone to have a nice happy ending, but I want them to yell and cry a whole lot on the way there.

Anon, I don't want ANY buts. No more, "well so did IFS 😤," or, "depends on your definition of plural," or, "but system has so many meanings!!?!"-- nothing. Stop making excuses and answer the question:

Is what they said accurate, or is it a misrepresentation of the history of MPD/DID?

This is a problem that syscoursers on the anti side have been upset about for years. Stop erasing our history and ignoring sources. Stop making excuses for people who are spreading bad information. Hold people accountable when they don't own up to their mistakes.

So far, cambriancrew's inaccurate post is still up, they're still defending it, and Sophie can't bring herself to admit I'm right outside of vaguely hiding the admission in the middle of a wall of text that none of her followers are going to read.

This is how misinformation gets spread.

I provided MANY sources at this point that specifically talk about dissociated systems of parts and alters, and use system as a standalone to refer to multiples identities/alters/parts.

This isn't rocket science. It's really easy.

Onto the next part:

In an ideal world, the language would be different. As I said, it's not because system isn't accurate to endos or IFS, but because the experience of being a system in DID is very different.

It's not just internal parts, like in IFS, and I'm upset that Schwartz seems to be behind in his understanding of current research into DID that point to a physical basis for the disorder.

The dissociation involved in separating our alters is very different than that in endogenic systems. We frequently see endogenic systems realizing they're disordered, not because they suddenly remember trauma, but because they realize they're struggling in different ways that don't fit into the "typical" endogenic experience. I think if the language around DID emphasised the dissociative, dysfunctional experience (please see my previous posts regarding dysfunction in DID to understand this point-- on that point, did you know the DSM says you can be totally functional and still have DID?), it would be easier for people to figure out what they would benefit most from.

I've said before that it really feels like those with DID/OSDD will have to change their language, rather than endos changing theirs. I'm not even angry, just sad, because we've already lost so much (and continue to lose more as our history is twisted), but it does seem that a division in language might help people figure out what they're experiencing earlier on, and thus be able to get help earlier.

A division in language would also help with syscourse, because right now it's just a bunch of people yelling about the same words with different definitions (all of them valid and true), but why not just adjust language so no one is stepping on each other? If you want to talk about this experience, here's some words that will get the point across without having to clarify, "but I still believe in endos, I'm just talking about this specific thing right now that is for DID/OSDD/PDID/UDD/those still diagnosed with MPD/DDNOS"-- I don't think that belief is unreasonable or says anything about the endogenic experience.

I mean, we're already kind of going in that direction-- CDD system is being used pretty regularly by those DID+ every acronym under the sun, singlets in IFS therapy usually just say they're in IFS, they don't declare themselves a system. Ideally those that feel they're a system due to being incredibly in tune with their inner parts could call themselves IFS systems.

Endos... I dunno, I guess they get to keep just "system".

Again, it's sad.

WAIT so it was already the 3rd day of her leaving and azriel was the only one who noticed so far? in 3 days? not even elain? i guess they're busy with whatever is coming but keeping a head count seems like one of the basics and not to say they should treat her like a child but she barely feeds herself maybe they should keep a watchful eye like same with the comment "the war is over" and then she noticed eris was hiding something and then just looked away and pretended not to see it like girl.

I don’t know if this will count, but Az kind of knew she hadn’t gone back to her room the night she left. Technically he didn’t know for certain, since he’s unsure how powerful the noise-cancelling wards are that Feyre had put up after the IC overheard their conversation about Az, but he was pretty sure he’d know if she was there :)

This might have been me writing weirdly but it was supposed to be reader genuinely asking why she would need to know how to fight when there’s no longer a looming threat, hence the argument “the war is over”.

However, Eris is the one that pauses and kind of glances at her ‘as he quietly stitches things together.’ meaning he’s realising something’s going on between her and the IC :)

Also reader doesn’t know she’s in a story, so has no reason to suspect she might not know the full picture, which is why she kind of dismissed it so quickly (also the whole reader-just-accepting-she-can’t-do-anything instead of seeking answers for herself) 🧡💛

Sorry if that part was confusing though, I didn’t mean to suggest she was consciously choosing to look away from that specific part 🤦

Idk people sometimes think some mean things (I know I sometimes do then get jumpscared by them)? He’s also being faced with actually dying, quite possibly for no reason or cause, so I’m giving him a pass on this one.

(Only this one though, Az 😤)

(Also I wanted to say ticking time bomb but I don’t think that phrase really belongs in a fantasy setting that doesn’t have nukes 😐)
