Mod's relationships are like a spiderweb. They look tight knit and secure, but are really quite fragile.

The relationship with their bio parents is. Fucking rough. They don't have one with their mother, she was never there. The one with their dad is so fucked man. They always saw him as a comfort, as a figure to look up to, and their inspiration for what they love/want to do. But then to have that system set in place, just to watch it fall apart so easily? The one time they wanted comfort, the way they wanted to lean on him again. Just to have him push it away? It fucking broke that relationship. Plus everything that happened to cause that push away. They survived hell, they found out a lot of people in their life, that they loved, had lied to them. They realized that a good chunk of their life was hidden behind a lie. Now they're trying to rekindle that broken relationship. They see something there amongst that mess. And that's where I stooop because that's secret loooore ;3c

Now, their non-bio parental relations? Also fucking rough. Their uncle Scratch became a huge role model to Mod. That was someone they trusted and told everything. Especially when their dad became more and more absent. Then they left him. And didn't tell him. They didn't tell him what they told their dad. They left him.

Their maternal figure? That woman who saw this scared Kalosian kid, took them under her wing, and guided them through an unfamiliar place? She's gone. She passed. They saw her as a mother. And they only knew that kind of love for 5 years.

They've also got one more relationship, but that will be unlocked in the next Mod dlc :3c

Anyway, their relationship with parents/parental figures is fucked up :D They are getting tossed into a microwave wrapped in aluminum foil that's running on potato energy. I love them so much <33
