Not enough people talked about these so I'm gonna do it myself because oh my god (commentary and headcanons below, it's just long)

Sett has a little travel-sized sewing kit in his bag... it's so tidy... sett stitching things back together when his bandmates rip them...

Sett just casually carries around like 20+ pounds of dumbbells. Mans is literally always working out. The grind never stops.

"yo Ezreal can you grab my bag for me?" "Yeah sure--what the FUCK do you have in here? This thing weighs a hundred pounds."

His little exercise headband... and is that a hair tie behind it? Sett with his hair tied back??

Sett's energy bar collection. Sett's the type of person to pack an entire backpack full of snacks for a road trip.

Ezreal has a plushie OF HIMSELF on his bag.

this guy practically collects aesthetic glasses. 3 pairs in the bag plus the circle ones he had in PARANOIA.

Sharpie (for signing autographs???) His signature on the polaroids of himself???

The photo under the lip balm looks like it might be Ezreal and Aphelios. Ezreal's the type of person to make sure he has photos with all of his friends. Ezreal hanging up his favorite polaroids in his room.

I love the idea of Aphelios just pulling out a little keyboard whenever he wants to write down a tune. How well can he play the piano? Only enough to write music, or does he have songs memorized? Does he ever play for anyone?

While Sett, Aphelios, and Yone all opted for headphones, Kayn's gone with good old-fashioned corded earbuds. Does he not like headphones? Is it because they mess up his hair?

Big ass box of matches and For Why? Does he smoke? Is he too cool to carry around a lighter? Does he just like setting shit on fire?

Yone keeps a little emergency travel kit. Band mom energy. He's got band-aids and a toothbrush and toothpaste At The Ready.

Bottle of lotion? Yone with a skincare routine? Yone who stays moisturized? Everybody in Heartsteel asking Yone for lotion?

Earplugs (for sleeping on long bus rides, maybe?) I want to see Yone going "I'm sick of this shit" and tuning the fuck out.

Yone is the only one with a real headphone case. Aphelios has his around his neck 24/7, but his wireless earbuds have a case. Sett's just shoving his in there with twenty pounds of dumbbells and hoping for the best.

Yone's got so many little gadgets and I don't even know what they all are. He has his laptop and (probably) his phone, plus a smartwatch, and maybe a portable charger? He's that prepared.

I can't tell what the object beside his smartwatch is (looks wooden?) If anyone knows, let me know? I'm so curious

This man's got even more stuff inside his bag. Yone doesn't leave the house without like fifteen things in case of an emergency.

Solar Powered Community Fridges - Concept Art

So one of my grad school classes is a 8 week long group project to essentially come up with an artistic solution to a problem. Of course, my pitch was solarpunk in nature, and my group actually really liked it! Basically, the concept is to design a series of solar panel-powered community fridges, to help address food insecurity and build community in different areas without having to rely on a specific host building to provide power. What better time to show my concept art than Solarpunk Aesthetic Week?

Originally, I was just drawing up ideas with what usually comes to mind when I imagine fridges--upright fridges. Here's my concept art!

In these sketches, my main concern was imagining how these fridges would fit into the community alongside their power sources--I didn't want them to be too bulky, but I also wanted them to be available for easy access. I also figured they'd need shelter for the fridge's longevity, as well as to protect any users from the element. It'd also be nice to have them alongside other mutual aid sources like little free pantries, little free libraries, the like. One of my favorite designs is the sheltered community space on page 2, with the fridge, the seat, the pantry, and the library all in one protected structure with solar panels on the top. Having a table near the community fridge would also be nice to give people a place to rest as well.

However, around this time, I started trying to find out just how big of a solar panel would be needed to power a fridge like this, and the results were... a bit discouraging. Until! I was informed that chest freezers use way less energy to keep cool--cool air sinks, so opening an upright fridge releases most of the cold air that's been building up and makes the machine work harder to keep cool, whereas a chest fridge doesn't lose nearly as much cold air. In addition, some people have converted chest freezers into chest refrigerators for as little as ~$30 USD. Due to the insulation in a chest freezer, converted chest fridges use way less energy than their upright counterparts to keep cool, making it way more feasible to power them with solar.

So of course, I had to get to drawing again!

Since I'd already concepted a variety of structures for upright fridges, for the chest fridges I mostly focused on their design and possible convenience/accessibility concerns I had been worried about, one of the main being having to reach inside vertically instead of horizontally--several of my family members have difficulty bending, so I was worried having a chest fridge would make things more difficult for others like them. There are likely other ways to address this concern that I haven't thought of, but for now I've concepted putting a grabber tool inside of every fridge so people with trouble bending can still get things. How well it'd work in reality, I'm not sure...

Buuut these are my concepts so far! I hope you like them, I hope they're cool? Let me know what you think! I think these would be cool to have in a solarpunk future--whether they're entirely possible today or will have to wait until a somewhat-distant, 'solar panels can generate more energy with less size and fridges are also way more energy efficient' future I can't say, but it's cool to think about!

I finally did that DAMN redesign for dogday👍🏾 This took me FOREVER😢😢 I do apologize for not posting that much, but i've been sooooo busy🙇🏾‍♀️(Spoiler warning I didn't change much)

I literally changed nothing about him really 🤷🏾‍♀️ At that point, I just gave up because I already like his design💥 I put stars on him because you know... the sun is a star💃🏾 Also the sticker on his ear is from a kid who Glued it on his ear, and now he can't get it off🏃🏾‍♀️ Honestly I shouldn't even call a redesign😭 He's a pretty princess!

Here is his whole body🔥🔥also, I know I did say that the other critters wouldn't have collars, but I've changed my mind🙇🏾‍♀️ since I think catnap was the first of the critters to be made.. they saw how Rebellious catnap was, so they had to be careful when dealing with the others☝🏾 But they didn't need to use it for the other critters. So they just stopped doing it completely💥💥 Miss delight next... Probably🤷🏾‍♀️

gnaws at the bars of my enclosure here's some sally face headcanons because i'm so normal trust!!

sal fisher

-probably had gums or mints on him constantly, he has to constantly smell his breath in his mask so he keeps it fresh as much as he can.

-has definitely used sharpie on his nails before, stopped after ashley got him nail polish for his birthday one year and hasn't gone back.

-sal is so definitely a scab picker, larry probably yells at him when he catches him picking at scabs when they hang out, he's looking out for his friend and doesn't want it to become a bad habit.

-sal has a few extra face masks his friends designed individually for him, some of them just being painted on or sculpted, one of them was just covered in stickers, he loves all of them and has them up in his room.

-has caught his own cat playing with his fake eye more than once when he couldn't find it in the morning, those mornings it did happen he would have to wash it off before soaking it in solution for a while, sometimes going to school without it, after the second time, he got replacement eyes for when that happened.

-tried an edible once with larry and freaked the fuck out and hasn't tried them since, larry still feels bad seeing him in that state (larry had to babysit him that night)

-i can't decide whether he bites his nails or he has long healthy nails and clips them weekly, they both work🤷‍♀️

-has almost shit himself at one of the sleepovers where sal slept with his mask off, he turned over as he woke up taking a moment to remember who was next to him since he's used to seeing his mask 😭

-always wanted a cat growing up but his mother was super allergic so whenever he's at sal's he's loving up on gizmo and ofc gizmo loves the attention.

-he loves being a canvas for ashley's makeup practice not to mention the cursed pictures they have gotten while the makeup process happened.

-he wanted to learn guitar but did not have a single musical bone in his body to actually play instruments, so sal started learning guitar for him (larry is so tone deaf it's so funny when he tries singing along to ashley's music which consists of musical soundtracks).

-he's such a pin and bottle cap collector, he has jars of them, ashley and maple also got him into tiny living and started collecting small furniture and little things.

Okay I am feeling kinda insane so I have to spell everything out

I have a theory about Lappland

First of all I'm sure she has connection to Laterano and that's why.

1) Skin

So her skin from Bloodline of Combat "Refined Horrormare". The one in which description written "The outfit Lappland wore at the Laterano Apostolic Knights' Funeral Memorial Hall.

Even two years ago , I was confused about what Lappy to do with Laterano. Why does she visit the Funeral of Apostolic Knight?

The thing about BoC skins is that they have usually heavy lore. Mountain leaving RI, Beagle dying, Executor tracking down Artoria, and past of a lot of operators. Right?

So about Lappland's skin. We see her wearing this clothes in IL Siracusana, and a lot of people, especially wiki-writers think that it is that big moment skin's introduction written about. BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE.

First of all it's nowhere near Laterano and other skins if they have a very direct connection with place and event.

Also quotes in this skin

" Collect the debts, and pay the price."

And

"Is that all? That's all our lives are worth. I told you, everything you've taken from me, I'll have you repay. In full." - is quote from Lappland and people(on wiki) think that she says it to her father, BUT BUT she didn't try to take a revenge on him in event. Maybe in the future, but unlikely. She stated that she doesn't want any connection with Siracusa and said goodbye to him, not trying to hurt. Hardly counts as repaing, right?

Also also in whole even she never showed as much hostility or better say vengefulness? Even her fight with Texas felt more like friendly rematch.

And I don't think anyone or anything in Siracusa could cause her such emotions if she leaves it so easily.

BUT WHAT IF THERE IS SOMEONE IN LATERANO WHO CAN CAUSE THEM?!

So I am sure we will have Lappland in Laterano

Okay sorry moving on.

2) Her belt

Her belt has number "1911" on it and IT is a year when last Newfoundland Wolf was killed, but in contrast with Texas her family is fine. So kinda weird isn't it?

So maybe this number has a double meaning

And you know what else happened in 1911?

M1911 was designed.

And I mean Sankta's and their guns, right?

3) Sweets

It's almost nothing, but second thing Laterano is known for is their sweets and Lappland kinda mentions sweets a lot?

Her notorious voiceline with mentioning of mille feuille and which she given to Exusiai and tried to give to Texas. Her keeping chocolate (of course it's maybe more about Texas). This stickers

Kinda suspicious isn't it?

So like she has connection to Laterano definitely. But what is this connection?

Well my theory is that her mother was Sankta.

And my arguments, I do have arguments!

1) Sankta's offsprings with other races don't bear any physical similarities with their divine parents, so her being Lupo doesn't contradict this theory

2) She is one of only two Lupo operators who deal Arts damage, and she was stated to not have any training with it, using Arts with just raw talent alone in her file. And Sanktas are well known for their impressive Arts controlling abilities

3) Also the end of her file

For a long time we thought it was Texas about Lappland and about her family. But now after Siracusano we can see that we mistaken a lot. First of all she lost her family not because they are dead, but because they threw her away. Also she didn't forced Doctor to choose anything yet. Doctor even wasn't present in Siracusana. Also know I'm even doubting if it was written by Texas, because we seen them interacting in Siracusana and they are fine. Weird as fuck and deadly to each other, but fine. If Texas truly believed she is that dangerous she would try to keep PL as far away from her as possible. But she isn't

So whatever this file states it going to happen in future.

And I think she will revenge for her mother.

It is a very weak theory I know, but I can't stop think about it.

So if you have your own theory about Lappland's connection to Laterano, please, I am begging, tell me.

When I was a teenager, I remember a large stop sign went missing from one of the backroad intersections.

Not hit and fallen over but gone.

It was a small town, always a slow news day.

That same night, a local farmer's mannequin-turned-scarecrow was stolen out of his field.

Father forgive me for the confession I am about to admit, for I have sinned.

I won't say how but two days later, that large stop sign ended up on my bedroom wall and I covered it with bumper stickers.

I can't say who, but the same kid who put a stop sign, post and all, in the back of his car,

Might have also jumped a fence empty handed, returned with a mannequin.

One week later, I was the designated driver as he ran it back into the field before an investigation ensued.

Tell me, how many Hail Mary's that is.

art thoughts lately!! particularly about con prep ..

- i am getting tired of drawing chibis during con prep season 😔 like i mentioned before, i think im "good" at drawing them, but they are kind of uninteresting to draw. and i get bored after a while! i think that's why charms burn me out so fast. luckily my last "specialty" merch design was just submitted so . i can move on to prints and other designs now

- i still like designing charms but i think i might try portrait charms. which means that like . my charm catalogue will cover a less broad range of fandoms (?) bc portraits will take a lot more work + harder to draw characters i don't know well

- might also still do buttons bc i like the idea of having low cost options on my table (i.e. canadian con goers tend to have a lower purchasing power?) although i think i may have been under charging...... i might have to raise the price by a few cents, because again, they do take time to draw. i put unnecessary amounts of detailing in them . it sparks joy ok 😔 anything priced under like. $10 (?) will be a low cost merch option and i like the idea of still having my art be "accessible" and not just like. having $15-20 charms and prints

- i also want to lean more into like. stickers in the style of the baccano sheet i drew last year! i think it's a lot of fun to interpret a favourite series in this graphic design style. a lot of work and research but yeah

- i hate lineart again so it might be time to learn how to clean sketches again

- might also be time to crank out the chisel brushes again - whenever i see artists using the chisel brush it makes me miss my 2017-18 era art sm .... there's such a delicious flow in chisel brushes .. part of the reason i stopped using them is 1. i was getting tired of using the brush (though i think my 2019 art was a bit tame compared to the previous year), and 2. complications on my computer with photoshop and then having to move on to clip. i can't replicate the tilt sensitivity of my ps brushes (specifically the helen chen brushes) in clip ^__T so i had to learn to wield another set of favourite brushes. i know clip also has chisel brushes but this one was my favourite aughhgh. will have to dive into the brush settings window for like 2 hours again ..

- overall, im really looking forward to stickers and prints the most! esp prints! i have a greater vision of what i want to capture in my art, after doing the Halloween piece and the pandora hearts twin mirrors piece. i want to push my art in a more illustrative direction (thank you miss shirahama kamome of witch hat atelier you have changed my life), if it works out. ill definitely have to toss the old prints that don't suit my style anymore, though ill see about doing a "last call" to see if anyone wants em during anime north 🤔 if not they will be recycled hehe

🔥 He's usually really calm and collective, mostly to balance out Bi-Han

🔥 But small? Oh boy

🔥 He adores running around, play wrestling anyone who'll let him

🔥 (^ You might need to remind him that he's really strong sometimes because he has accidently hurt others because of this before)

🔥 He fights dirty too, bites when he's loosing >:(

🔥 Basically, play wrestling is only for people who know he fights dirty and might fight really rough and are able to overpower him

🔥 But he likes a lot of things!!

🔥 Loves coloring, giving his pretty pictures for you to put on the fridge

🔥 Main CGs are Tomas and Harumi (SHES MY MOTHER, NO HATING ON HER PLEASE!!!!)

🔥 Also Bi-Han but Kuai Liang likes testing Bi-Han and most times he accidently slips too and Kuai Liang feels bad (he'll still go to Bi-Han some times though)

🔥 I could totally see him enjoying Kung Lao as a babysitter

🔥 ^ He keeps up with his energy, going from peaceful coloring, to having to dive over the table to dodge Kuai Liang's tackle

🔥 Will try to crawl on top of things to get things, like a cup or something

🔥 But also so that you can't catch him >:3

🔥 You need to tell him that he's too small and it's too dangerous to be up there and to please get down

🔥 He doesn't like getting in trouble, so he will get down very quickly

🔥 Oh boy, his hissy fits though

🔥 Not even hissy fits, full blown tantrums

🔥 He has the powers and anger of Scorpion, although very rarely do his powers activate when he's yelling and screaming

🔥 These moments can be very scary honestly, but you need to cross your arms and stare at him while he's sitting on the ground yelling

🔥 Very quickly he'll look up at you and realize he was naughty over something like going to bed, and now he feels not only upset, but embarrassed

🔥 Will sit on the naughty step and apologize very fast when his time is up, he doesn't want you to be mad anymore, please don't be mad

🔥 He's usually very good, it's only tantrums that get him flared up and it's never actually your fault

🔥 It starts with the fact he has to go to bed, but then it's about the entire fact that he'll always be the second son and gets upset that he'll never be able to make his own decision and all the bad things that have happened these weeks will pile up all at once

🔥 ^ To fix the entire fact that he lets things build, encouraging journaling and more communication

🔥 He might ask you to help spell some words if he's journaling while small, but it does really help him in the long run

🔥 It also helps him talk about his problems a little more because now they're on paper and he knows what's really making him upset

🔥 He also really likes journaling because he he can make his personal journal all pretty and his own little design

🔥 Please get hkm stickers to help decorate it, it would mean the world to him 🥺

🔥 Again, normally he's very good unless he's having a tantrum, and his most preferred punishment is the naughty step

🔥 But you HAVE to speak with him afterwards about the situation because he does honestly feel terrible about it, especially if he burnt the floor or something

🔥 Doesn't like the naughty step if he broke a rule or something, he'd rather try to fix it

🔥 Just because he's usually good, doesn't mean he isn't chaotic

🔥 Likes to try and show off his powers while little

🔥 You gotta stop him almost immediately because he has burnt stuff in the past (no one yet though, thankfully)

🔥 Likes helping you out with things like dinner or cleaning

🔥 He can't actually do much, but he enjoys the praise you give him when he's good

🔥 Might get a big jealous if your giving another regressor attention

🔥 Wha- Your HIS CG!!! Why isn't he getting your undivided attention?? >:(

🔥 He won't say anything out loud, especially since he knows others need someone at times too, but he'll poutingly attach himself to your hip and hide in your neck

🔥 Really likes cuddles and is really happy when it's winter because he gets all the cuddles!!!

🔥 But when it's summer? It kinda sucks because he already runs warm and no one wants to hug something warm . . . 🥺

🔥 If you do, however, he'll be super thankful and draw you a pretty picture and try to make your favorite snack (or something that only needs the microwave)

🔥 Favorite little nicknames would be Firestarter, Shooting Star, Sweetie, Little One, Squirt, and Baby

🔥 He's a pretty responsible regresser most times

🔥 The littler he is, the more dependant he is

i just received the pla stickers as a semi-surprise gift (i think i was told and i forgot about it lol) and i just can't stop staring at them they're all so beautiful... but i have sticker anxiety and i don't know where to put them... i want to create a pretty collage but i also just want to preserve them intact forever...

I totally understand. I have sticker anxiety too. So I created these reusable sticker books to hold my stickers and show them off. The pages are silicone coated release paper and you can peel/rearrange the stickers as many times as you want. Stickers wont fall out of the books and you can use use them as a storage for all your collection. I only have PLA and submas book designs at this time in my shop.

I'm so glad you are happy with the stickers. All the artists did such a good job on them.

About Me

Since somebody (who shall go unnamed) told me I talk too much about Aldhelm, I wanted to make a post about this.

Like, you know that there is more to me than this right? Like this man and TLK is my obsession but there is so much more to me than just this. It has become an important part of my life, a hobby and an obsession, and I feel like my life has become all the richer for it. I have gone WAY out of my comfort zone in so many ways because of this fandom and have done so many things that I never would have even considered because of it. And have met so many amazing and wonderful people and made some (hopefully) lifelong friends from this. Like it has seriously enriched my life way beyond my ordinary day to day hum-drum bullshit and I am eternally thankful for it.

I am 43 years old. I am married and have two cats (they are my kids lol). I was a veterinary technician (or veterinary nurse depending on your language) for over 16 years before it took such a toll on my physical and mental health that I had to quit. I do my art full time now, so I mostly stay at home. A good friend got me into doing pet portraits in 2017 so that has been my focus, although I also do original paintings, mostly of animals, that I sell online as art prints and merch (like stickers, blankets, totes, t-shirt designs, puzzles, etc). It is not a livable income but it is a nice supplement, and I can relax and work at my own pace and not get stressed out.

When I am not doing that we like to take walks in the forests near our house, go out and explore the local area, take little trips, watch TV and movies together, you know all those kinds of things. I love gardening and yard work, and can't wait until the weather warms so I can get more work done in our gardens. I am somewhat handy and can do some repairs around the house, which is a good thing because this house has a lot of issues.

I love to read, and am reading a book called "Hild" right now by Nicola Griffith, which takes place in the 7th century Britain. I have learned a lot about the Anglo-Saxon time period because of TLK and it has intrigued me to learn more about early British history. I also LOVE fantasy, especially Lord of the Rings and Neil Gaiman. I don't have a big collection of books but I get more all the time!

I love fantasy and Ghibli movies, and have a nice little collection of DVD's that we like to rewatch. I would love to do some fanart from LOTR and Princess Mononoke, and now that I feel more comfortable drawing people I may do so.

Maybe I draw Aldhelm a lot, but that is just because I love drawing him so much... I honestly don't have a lot of time to do personal art and when I do I want to do something that I love. And drawing him relaxes me and makes me very happy. And not only that it has taken me outside my comfort zone to do a subject that I typically don't draw, and gets me acquainted with drawing textures that I am unfamiliar with, like cloth, chainmail, human hair, skin, and metal. I have learned a lot in the past year doing these drawing and I will continue for a very long time. I might do other things if I feel up to it, but drawing him has become a cornerstone of my creativity and I will not stop.

I am sorry that I like to talk about TLK and Aldhelm a lot... when I am passionate about something I don't let up. I just don't want anyone to think this is ALL I do and I am one dimensional.

Me walking into a store for a merchandise roundup:

Minus the "dumb."

Evidently, the post-holiday season isn't the best time for roundups. Most of the Rick and Morty merchandise at my local thrift stores is gone. It's a hot gift item!

I decided to branch out and visit stores outside my area. I was wandering around the kids' section at Ross, not expecting to find anything, until I spotted a Rick and Morty tag:

A beanie with the classic design. I probably would've found more items if I stopped by before Christmas. I don't know if they'll get much more apparel before spring--when I worked in retail, sales were dead in January and February.

Speaking of thrift stores: my local Marshall's had a Rick and Morty shirt with a Kohl's tag, so I decided to visit Kohl's directly. I wasn't having much luck there either until I stumbled on a shelf of licensed shirts near the entrance. I probably walked right past them!

I love the colors on the first shirt, but the second one is a little creepy. Reminds me of The Shining. That's...also not a face that I've ever seen Morty make before.

My local Marshall's sold every bit of Rick and Morty apparel, so I went to another location. They still had pajama pants in stock, including a new design with a holographic label. ✨

Homer Simpson joined in, too! Simpsons merchandise is pretty common in this area. Futurama apparel is a rarity, and I've never seen anything related to Disenchantment.

This weekend also brought the usual mall trip. New Rick and Morty sweatpants at Rue 21 right next to The Boondocks. They actually sell a lot of Boondocks apparel--I just don't post about it because I haven't watched the whole series yet.

Customers have snatched up most of the Rick and Morty Funko Pops that someone dropped off at the "nerdy" store before season seven. A few remain, like Wine Mom Beth.

Nothing new at Hot Topic or Spencer's, but Spencer's did have this poster in stock. They had it for a week earlier this year, and then it disappeared. I was glad to see it again because it's one of my favorite illustrations.

Happy shirtless Rick...did you Rick fuckers buy all their stock the first time? 🤔

Pickle Rick just can't catch a break. He was still stuck at the bottom! But not anymore because I moved him to the top of the pile.

Finally, I usually don't come home with anything, but I left the mall with the first Funko Pop that I've ever bought.

Hang on, let me peel off the sticker...

It's Artemis Fowl!

I'm not a huge Funko Pop fan, but Artemis Fowl merchandise is so rare that I might never see it again. I thought about how much I would've loved this figurine in elementary school. And I love it today!

I haven't seen the movie because by all accounts, it's terrible, but one good thing came out of it. I'm surprised that Artemis Fowl barely made it to store shelves because the series was huge when I was growing up. But the rarity makes this figurine even more special.

Oh oh oooh.... spoilers for ep 7

sooo, my predictions basically came true: livio is out of the picture but still alive, vash communicated with the plant and now something's wrong with him

we saw a glimpse of raslo!!!!! so glad that LR are relevant to the story, they deserve more screen time and they're gonna get it

wolfwood was so unhinged, like yay girl go fuck shit up. yeah I'm sure you can move the canon with your bare hands, sweety

the sand steamer episodes were already adapted in the og anime, so it made sense to use it as a backdrop for a different story. bad lad gang members were basically comic relief, and I'm okay with that

meryl is so GREAT in stampede!! I love to see her development and how she is an active participant in the story and gets to have emotional moments. as much as I love the capable "iron lady" meryl, she was often sidelined in the og series

roberto's big "I'M GONNA GET KILLED OFF" forehead sticker is getting bigger with every episode

I despise legato but also love him, what a drama queen... just can't get enough of this twink's attitude

y'all are saying that zazie pulling that worm from their mouth was sooo gross. really? REALLY???don't you remember WHERE that one worm came from in the manga????? be grateful

and vash......... oh boy. love how he trusted meryl with the whole ship, even tho an episode ago he acted pretty cold. also worked with wolfwood as a team, so cool to see them bonding, especially that interaction after the canon fired

and, of course, the plant stuff!!! a bit disappointed that we're not gonna see any feathers or wings in stampede (at least it seems that way)....... apparently they decided to stir away from christian imagery and embrace a sci-fi look. the designs are cool tho and really drive home that it's some nonhuman bullshit

I sorta expected the final scene, but it was so, so good! the terror in meryl's eyes... and vash finally showed his "oh he's fucked up actually" face. and fucking COLLAPSED. what an icon

I'm curious on what happened with him and the plant. they definitely contributed to stopping the ship, but was there some power exchange and if so, in which direction? ep 8's gonna be mainly expositional, and should clear this up (as seen in the preview, lil' vash does a similar thing with a plant. partially merging??? giving away his energy and that's why his eyebrows are black???)

I already made my predictions for the next two episodes, so that's all for now. man, what a ride

hi i come with modern au sanekana hcs because that one guy on tiktok kinda pissed me off lmao

kanae notices that sanemi's kinda nervous when he's supposed to come to her house for the first time and she gives him this really sweet pep talk about how he has nothing to be nervous about because her parents are gonna love him and he's gonna get along with them so well and they're so kind and fun to be around and when she's finished he's like "thank you so much i'm actually scared of shinobu tho" and she just goes "oh yeah well lol u should be ngl"

all of sanemi's siblings love kanae, they always follow her around when she visits and draw her pictures (mostly flowers, sometimes they draw her with sanemi and she keeps all of those pictures hidden from him in a box under her bed so he won't be embarrassed)

(butterfly girls are still a thing, they're all shinobu's and kanae's adopted sisters) aoi and kanao actually knew sanemi before he and kanae got together because they've been friends with genya since elementary school and shinobu finally admits he might not be as horrible as she suspected when she sees aoi tackle him at the door and he doesn't even hesitate before picking her up and swinging her around

they'd become a couple at 16/17 and at some point later sanemi gets a motorcycle because don't tell me he wouldn't and kanae's not very enthusiastic at first ("motorcycles are death machines i'm telling you!") until he takes her for a ride and she falls in love with it even more than him ("and there's my giiiirl, looking good!" - "flower i'm like. right here.")

they were caught making out at a party by tengen and mitsuri and when sanemi went "if you tell anyone i'll kill you!" mitsuri immediately reassured him that ofc they wouldn't tell anyone. she then turns to tengen like "right uzui" and he's on his phone; "hang on i gotta send this to the group chat- what were you saying?"

sanemi's hesitant with buying flowers, jewelry, clothes or anything like that for kanae because of his colorblindness and mitsuri picks up on that (besties because i said so) and offers her help so from then on sanemi sends her pictures of things to doublecheck and sometimes she'll go shopping with him and help him pick out flowers

kanae likes to put small gifts in sanemi's locker in between periods when they're still in school so sometimes he'll find small baked goods or a cute sticker or something like that and you better believe he puts all of those stickers on his folders and books (obanai tries to bully him about it but sanemi can't be bothered)

kanae always patches sanemi up when he gets into a fight and makes sure he's okay but it's obvious that she's upset about it and sanemi's trying to hard to stop but it's really hard, then a particularly brutal fight lands him in the hospital and that's what gets him to finally open up to her about it and accept her help (it gets better after that)

kanae loves sanemi's scars and she likes to subtly kiss them when he's feeling kinda down to signalize that she loves all of him (he knows what she's doing but he never addresses it because it kinda works and also he doesn't want to destroy the illusion of being sneaky for her)

AHHHHHHHH *Faints* I ADORE THESE OH MY GOD!!! (And honestly valid! Tiktok's got some wild takes, that's for sure 😅) Lemme just- I need second hold on-

First of all; Sanemi being terrified of Shinobu and Kanae being: "Yeah, you should be" is literal GOLD WKJRJKERKJEKJ She gives this beautiful pep talk and he's all: "What about Shinobu?" "Oh babe you're dead. I'll come to your funeral though :D"

And the MOTORCYCLE YESSS!!! My man's definitely a biker- He'd get a super cool one with wind designs on it- always bringing an extra helmet (and a small one for the kiddos if he's picking up either his siblings or her siblings). He'd get her one with flowers and butterflies on it cause she's adorable and deserves it. They'd go on long drives at night, her arms around his chest and face against his back. He'd love every moment of it.

THE SIBLINGS LOVING THEM YES!!! His little bros and sisters would ADORE HER! Her little ducklings- they'd follow her into around like you said, bringing little flowers or doodles, asking for hugs or for her to braid their hair, she's got such a lovely voice too- they'd ask her to read them stories or sing to them AHH! And I just love the idea of Sanemi and Aoi being a little tag team of chaos! He'd be her number one supporter (and practice patient- the guy's accident prone whoops) when she starts wanting to go to medical school.

NOT UZUI HELP KEJKREJRJKEWRKJEWKJRJK But yes oh my god even in the canon they're besties holy- I love Mitsuri being his guide due to his colorblindness. The Flowers AHHH! He'd get her all kinds! I'm so soft at that part of him finally opening up to her and accepting her help- outside the girlies she's so careful and sweet with him and he feels equal parts guilty and loved cause he hates making her witness all his injuries but also just loves her touch OH MY GOD HELP-

THE SNEAKY KISSES!!!! She's just: "Oh look at that-" *kiss scar on forehead*" Or when he falls asleep against her shoulder she just kinda leans in and *smooch*. She'll run her fingers against them with the warmest of smiles and he's internally melting cause she's so sweet just AKLJREJKLRKJLEKJREJKRJKEJKR I'M SHIPPING IT HELP-

(Oh who am I kidding I've shipped it since I've watched Demon Slayer Comics lols no one ask me which ones they were all titled in Japanese lettering I'm not wise enough to identify which kind).

The paper vs digital experiment continues. I wrote a bit about the differences in my paper journal and so far the results are... I like both. 😅

My biggest concern with using both is if I ever want to reference one specific "something" that I wrote one day, but I can't remember where I put it. It would be a longer endeavor if I had to do a digital and physical search. Not sure if that would actually happen, and I could use bookmarks and page flags for anything important. And the digital portion would be a very quick and easy search. Sooo maybe it's not much of a concern?!

❓Also does anyone know how to stop that page bounce that happens in a paper journal when you're writing near the binding? It lays fairly flat but that tiny bit of bounce can be somewhat annoying when I'm trying to write really neatly. Is that why I see people using binder clips, or should I put something flat underneath the page I'm on?

Finally, for anyone wondering I'm using one of @happydownloads free digital planner setups until I make a decision if it's something I want to continue with. Love her stuff! The stickers are adorable and the designs are extremely well done. Im definitely going to be buying from her shop once my experiment is over.
