Concepts From Early Drafts of Bluu's Storyline That Got Cut

- Bluu was initially supposed to live in her family grand yet run-down gated ancestral mansion, but after watching a cottagecore vlog, I altogether scrapped the idea in favor of having Bluu live in a cozy yet creepy seaside cottage.

- Bluu was supposed to have blue eyes to mark her Godhood, but to be honest, the idea never really sat well with me, and I prefer dark brown eyes over lighter colors like green, blue, hazel, etc. Honestly, brown eyes are underrated.  

- Initially, Bluu's true form would be a Cthulu-like being with at least a hundred eyes, but she would have looked like Hermaeus Mora from Skyrim, so I scrapped that shit real quick settled on having her looking like a more badass version of Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

- Bluu was supposed to be engaged to some Italian fellow she'd met in college, but having her break off the engagement to spend her immortality in self-isolation on a creepy island would have been highly ooc because she would never abandon her s/o without a word. As for the Italian... Meh, I have some ideas for him. He'll show up in her storyline much, much later. Just know that his face claim is Michele Morrone.

- I was going to stick with Bluu being a powerful water witch with unlimited magic, but it sounded so...cliche and boring as hell. A fallen sea goddess reincarnated in the form of a human female with very little memory of her past life sounded so much better storywise. I also just wanted an excuse to write black female goddesses.

- The cottage was initially supposed to be a hot mess dangling a little too close to a rocky cliff. Bluu's cottage, in general, was going to be anxiety-inducing. There would have been a massive hole in the ceiling, and the way the wind would blow through the hole, the cottage would have sounded like someone was groaning and dying. I scrapped the idea at the last second because I live alone, and just thinking about it made my heart rate speed up and my anxiety spike, so yeah, that idea got scrapped.

- Samson was never supposed to have a place in Bluu's story. I was going to have her live utterly alone with just the seagulls outside for company, but I missed my dog so much that I decided to give my precious pup a place in Bluu's story where he would remain her loyal and beloved companion.

Lady Pella, just a quick note to squee at your latest story -- my heart is currently at the bottom of the Sadako well with a chance to plunge further while waiting for the rest. Also: I've been hoping for you to touch on the Uriel storyline, and knowing you're planning on Lucifer telling Chloe about it is a buoy that keeps me afloat in said well. Thank you. I’m hoping to get the next chapter of the story out by next week but don’t hold me to that! I’m not sure if I’ll get it all done in time. 

Yeah the discussion of Uriel has been in the cards for a long time and I’m really excited to finally be writing it. It just had to wait for the right time, because there’s no easy way for someone to come out and say “oh yeah, btw I killed my brother for you.” I’m doing it on the anniversary, so a year later Lucifer takes Chloe to Uriel’s new gravesite. 

In the hopes of tiding you over until the new chapter, here’s a snippet from the Uriel conversation.

Lucifer was shaking his head, like he couldn’t make sense of what she was saying. “Were you not listening to me? I’m a killer. A fratricide. Uriel wasn’t trying to kill me, but I had no such compunction.”

So it hadn’t been self defense. That made Chloe feel even worse, but not for the reasons Lucifer probably imagined. Saving her life hadn’t been a side effect of saving his own. She was alive today because Lucifer had chosen her life over that of his brother.

She swallowed hard, forced the words past her lips. “So what does that mean for…” You? “Angels?” She had to ask. “I mean, is he in Hell now, or does he go back to Heaven, or…”

He stared at her, with what almost looked like wonder. “Oh, no, no. That’s the most important part of all this. See, Azrael’s blade doesn’t just open doors. It also completely obliterates any being it kills - human, demon, or celestial. Wipes them out entirely. No Heaven, no Hell. Just gone.” He cocked his head, Chloe too overwhelmed by this greater revelation to move a muscle. “I’d never killed anyone before. But I erased him from existence.” He nodded toward the nearby mound. “That’s where Uriel is buried. That’s all that’s left.”

Chloe’s head was buzzing. What she’d thought was an innocent mound was suddenly fraught with peril. Lucifer had killed his brother to protect her. Erased him from existence. And he’d been living with that burden for a whole year, with her at his side, completely oblivious. She couldn’t… she couldn’t. Breathe in. Breathe out.

“So now you know,” Lucifer intoned. Chloe barely heard him. Like a film on repeat, she kept seeing Lucifer standing directly in a sniper’s line of fire, commanding him to shoot. What he’d said when he showed up to the crime scene looking like a homeless magician. “Every killer must be punished.” He’d been trying to get her to punish him for killing his brother and it felt like there was a hole where her heart used to be.

Throwback to when my cat was tiny and captivated by @taylorswift like a firework show. Can’t blame him.

Ok at this point in the story, Sasuke could have had any girl in his age group he wanted except Hinata and here he is stewing over Sakura smiling at Naruto. Yeah he was jealous that Naruto was getting stronger, but Kishimoto chose to have Sasuke thinking of Sakura’s smile twice.

So the other day my friends and I went on a whole new level of bodily functions by explaining what happens to a woman while she is on her period to my guy friend. Idk we got on the subject about periods which he's fine with. Anyway, I told him that some woman that get the heavy flow have to wear pads and can actually get little blood clots which feels really uncomfortable. I told him "just imagine this..It's sort of like having warm jello chunks stuck to your balls all happening while you're trying to walk normal." He has never heard such a thing and I have never seen such discomfort on a mans face in my life. I think I've never felt so accomplished in my life haha
