#pokemon#swsh#gym leader piers#type swap#I was actually building this design mentally for the entirety of yesterday lmao#the fam went fishing and I was like well that was too much sunlight for me#so. this#tbh raihan's original design is like. really convenient to typeswap for piers#I didn't do a perfect job lol but a lot of elements are there already#the uniform pattern already looks halfway like harnesses#and piers doesnt have the fangs but I figured his hair already looks kinda spine-like#so. thagomizer style it is#skjfhdks when I did the flat colors for this for a while before adding the patters he looks like. vegeta#I hated it so much. it was horrible#but it turned out? okay? so that's fine#the base concept of this is like. mechanical animals era marilyn manson + dragon claws/fangs + cyclist uniform#I honestly dont know if any of that even comes through anymore lmao but well. what are we gonna do huh#redo this design? no fucking way. I still havent finished inking the damn comic#I'm gonna get dinner. dont even think about another typeswap until august#have a good night guys! gold is edible and good to eat
