What is going on?
The Meghans bullied Charles's parents into an early grave. Now Catherine is ill because Charles won't discipline his darling boy and that daughter in law from hell.
The press knows Catherine never had a discussion with Sparry (or anyone) about his future children's physical characteristics and yet Catherine took the blame for Camilla.
They have been relentless in the bullying of a sick woman who was far more OPEN about her medical situation than the king in his two (2) sketchy press releases, but the press suddenly has glowing stories about Charles and his positive influence on Catherine.
Charles hasn't spoken about his own cancer, but he's taking credit for Catherine's courage and strength.
Not a peep out of BP while Catherine was supposedly AWOL, but suddenly they have "stories" to share.
Oh and no man is wandering around the wards of any hospital (even VIP) with a foley catheter inserted into his penis while his bloody urine is collected in a plastic baggie just to have heart to heart conversations with his daughter in law on the 1 of 3 days he's lucid. 🙄
Make it make sense.

He began “a big adult novel” — his first since Ocean — but soon gave up because he didn’t want to be stranded midway through it when his work for the screen resumed. But he has started a children’s book he will find a way to finish whatever happens. “I can get up a little earlier, or do what I did with Coraline, just write 50 words every night before bed.”
It has reminded him how much he likes just being a writer. “I’ve realised how much I don’t like showrunning. I love making stuff up. I love writing it down. I love people. I love being on set and I love the casting and the scripting. I don’t love HR. I don’t love budgets. I don’t love dealing with a new batch of execs who have their own issues about stuff. I don’t love that place where art and commerce meet and crash into each other.”
He is looking forward to seeing The Sandman start up again — it had to pause its second run of shows after a fortnight of filming earlier this summer. “And I would love to be in a place where I can write and make Good Omens 3. And then I really like the idea of retiring. Going back to being a bloke who writes books, poems and things.”

“If I’m performing in the evening, I have a double vodka and Red Bull to calm my nerves. When I was in One Direction, that pre-show ritual made me feel like a rock star. It just gives you such a great f***ing feeling on stage. I’d love to say I don’t get more nervous if I know Harry [Styles] or any of the other boys are in the crowd, but I do. You want to give your best.”

Today, The Times plumbed new depths in their attempts to skew the presentation of statistics, even by their own (un)impressive standards.
I can hear every Math's teacher I ever had screeching with horror at this.

Gwendoline Christie joins mudlarks of the Thames as a detectorist
When Gwendoline Christie played Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones, she wielded an elaborate steel sword. As Captain Phasma in the Star Wars franchise, she was armed with an enormous gun. In real life, however, she prefers to wield a metal detector.
The West Sussex-born actress has revealed that she enjoys mudlarking, a pastime dating back centuries in which people scavenge for treasures on a riverbank when the tide is out. Modern mudlarkers use metal detectors to try to find hidden artefacts.
“There’s something secretly thrilling about unearthing slivers of artefacts, tokens of another age, further reaching through time to touch a connection with our ancestors,” Christie said.

Photo: Clémence Poésy and Stephen Dillane in the Tunnel.
Gabriel Tate. Tuesday December 05 2017, The Times.
Stephen Dillane explains why he’d rather play a cop in The Tunnel than be a Game of Thrones warlord.
“Cigarettes are a great loss to cinema,” reckons Stephen Dillane, mulling over the importance of props. “However crap you feel about what you’re saying, at least you know there’s something really happening. In this, it’s car keys — I like having them in my hand and it drives Clémence mad. She’s a much purer artist than I am. I’m just cheap!”
Professional generosity, forensic self-criticism and zero self-censorship delivered as an entertaining miniature thesis: an hour with Dillane is an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding one. He is one of those actors who lifts projects simply through his presence. That formidable control and steely warmth have enhanced modern classics...

the times
* you mean there's a serene sunrise each morning & a twilight every evening with twinkling stars & reflective moon, most times?
perhaps i'd best recalibrate, meditate on these simple miracles that occur twice a day - everyday.
shall i further explore a poetic urge & my tendency to overexplain at times?
nah. peace. * 12/23 - lebuc - the times ( ...not a-changing )
