The Sea Beast really was such a fun film. And I loved this little fool so much.

So anyway I decided to watch sea beast

This movie came out just a day before my entry exam, which I sadly didn't pass. After a very exhausting week in which my whole family got covid except for me and my nearest older brother, and I had to be in charge of everything and to not get sick before my exam, I surely needed a comfort. The Sea Beast came just in time for that.

I was super excited for its release since I saw the trailer, and I wasn't wrong when I knew it would excite that adventurous side I have. Since I read Louis Stevenson's masterpiece, Treasure Island and saw it's adaptation with Charlton Heston and young Christian Bale, I enjoy sailor and pirate stories to the fullest. It had passed some time after I saw a story like that.

The Sea Beast had everything I love from an animated movie: From a good animation, of course, epic adventurous sequences, charismatic characters, a well written fleshed out villain (not a twist villain or an unerstood antagonist) a cute adventurous girl, a majestic creature, a truly cute pet, found family trope, to a really deep message. I felt so connected with its message against war and imperialism, something so important and needed in these times.

blue from the sea beast looks and acts exactly like my dog and i wish i could share that with more people, everybody deserves to truly see and understand how identical they are. its baffling.
