#the witcher#!txt: the witcher#also likE? it gets so much shit for not following the books but... it did?#the only storyline that's really omitted is the one with yarpen et al#(which doesn't even guarantee it'll be completely absent from the show either;#it's entirely possible the show could just adapt it in a later season or a facsimile of it)#(esp as part of it WAS already adapted in s3)#and while there are obvs certain storylines that were swapped around#(or were adapted in s3 instead)#and storylines the show didn't spend as much time on as the books did#and things the show added that weren't in the books#(which imo is completely understandable given how i don't think blood of elves has enough content to be adapted as a season by itself)#like the show did still follow the books
