"I don't ever feel happy in my daily life."
"Filmmaking only brings suffering."
"Can't believe I actually want to do another one."
I liked the part with the cat.
A neat little documentary presented with a nice, warm tone and a great soundtrack.
I'd seen the memes of Miyazaki saying bleak things, but I was surprised just how grim he seemed about everything. There was a short interview with one of his employees that made him sound like a pretty awful boss, too.
It was good to get a glimpse into the processes and the people behind these movies. I particularly enjoyed when he was storyboarding by visualising the scene in his mind and using a stopwatch to get the timing.
Interesting and well assembled. Very good.
