Killer tends to be reckless and his clothes gets a lot rips and tears because this. Azalea stitches they up for him. She actually teaches him to do this himself.

Killer was in the middle of a match in an fps game. He found Dust's character and was about to get the winning shot when his jacket hit him in the face. There was the sound of gunfire, and as he pulled his jacket down, he sees that Cross had shot him. The timer comes to an end, and with that, Cross won.

"If you want to keep this ratty old jacket, you are going to learn to maintain it! Of the three of you, you are the most reckless with your clothes," Azalea huffed.

"you heard the lady, i'm out," Killer said into the headset.

"yeah, s'all good, getting motion sick," Dust mumbled.

"and here i thought my clothes were ratty looking," Horror laughed. "you really ticked her off this time!"

"you're just feeling sore that i won again," Cross replied smugly. That might be true.

Once he turns the game off, he follows her to a room that has now been labeled as the craft or art room. She had him sit at her sewing table, and she gathered the supplies he would need. Killer knew most of this. After all, he helped make Papyrus' battle body. And he also maintained his younger brother's clothing.

But... he got to sit close to Azalea. She was talking to him and not with that usual annoyed tone. Now and then, she would praise his success. And even better was when she would take his hands to guide them to where they should be.

Was he blushing? Most likely... especially as he glanced up at her, seeing the beauty in her expression as he explained the next step with such care and passion for the subject.

"you're so pretty..." Killer mumbled softly.

"What?" She replied and looked back at him.

"uh," He didn't mean to say that out loud, "you know... sowing pun. heh, you're sow pretty."

She shot him a glare, "relentless flirt. Take your jacket and the thread. Stop turning article of clothing you've worn to me with holes."

He complied... him and his stupid mouth... that was a good moment.

When Claire sees Hannah Wilson at an exclusive Manhattan hair salon, it's like a knife slicing through barely healed scars. It may have been ten years since Claire last saw Hannah, but she has thought of her every day, and not in a good way. So Claire does what anyone would do in her position—she stalks her.

My Review:

Claire is not a likable character by any stretch of the imagination. I could not root for her to win. I absolutely wanted her to fail miserably.

The whole story is hard to fathom and there were many plot holes and obvious missteps that any reader would have picked up on. Why bring a stranger into your home with her new baby and the background check wasn't completed and, all the appropriate information needed for her to be paid, was also not given?

When you have money like the Carters, you vet everyone who enters your circle and especially those entering your home.

The backstory between the Carters and Claire is a curve ball that I think could have been written differently. Why would a grown woman hold a grudge for so long and then blame all of their life woes on this one person?! That is so far-fetched.

April, the roommate, is the only character I was rooting for. I wanted her to run off into the sunset and live happily ever after. She was sweet, understanding, and forgiving -- all qualities that Claire was not.

Harvey, rich and powerful men get divorced every day B, and no one cares. With his money, another woman will be waiting at the courthouse for the ink to dry on his divorce papers.

Lackluster plot twist. Dry storytelling. Characters with no value.

I'm a disabled trans guy who is unemployed, and I don't bring any income to my household. I love to cook, clean, organize, manage calendars, appointments, etc. so in my polycule, that's the role I fill.

I'm a homemaker and very proud of it, but I wish I could say that with more frequency without constantly having people roll their eyes or interrogating me about my personal life.

"How can you be too disabled to work a job, but not to take care of your household? Don't the other people in your family do any housework? Are you being taken advantage of? Have you ever had a job? Can't you work part time? Why aren't you on disability? Have you tried a work from home job?"

I've been trying to find more support and community for people like me, but the sheer wall of red usernames that appear when I dip into any kind of "homemaker", "housekeeping", "domestic labor", type of tag is absolutely terrifying. It's either tradwives or radfems, with no in-between. "stay at home dad" tags are basically empty, and i don't even have a kid living at home with me anymore to bond with other parents anyway.
