See the thing is with streaming its going to die regardless, yes companies handing out less contracts is killing it further but its already dying at a fast rate? I'm not a stream hater either btw I really enjoy them but like. For example. 2020, 2021? When school was remote and I only ever worked mornings because of covid hours? I was clocked into that Philza 8hr stream DAILY. I was scheduling my classes around those streams so I could do homework while listening/watching. Went as far as to use my monthly speaking privilge to ask Phil what date British Daylight Savings began so I could keep my schedule clear. The second everything was no longer remote, and store hours went back to normal, I maybe caught 2, 3, maybe 4 streams in that year before I decided enough was enough about QSMP and I LOVE hardcore content.

From a company standpoint I can see why YT may not be interested in handing out streamer contracts anymore. Like Dreamie and a few others they're recognizing the Covid Number Boom is over- but unlike Dreamie, because theyre a corporation, they can't just "stick it out" and "recelebrate milestones". They have a "bottom line" to protect and they're not getting that same sweet sweet ad revenue from streams because of decreased viewer counts. Esp bc people don't just go back and watch vods unless there's a REAAAALLY good reason to. So no ad viewership there either. They're going to go back to relying on videos (and unfortunately probably shorts as well, I hate the tiktok-ification of every socmed site) to keep their ad revenue up, especially with the battle of ad blockers. I see more ad and monitization deals being handed out.

With streams (bc vod watching is lowkey practically nonexistant) not being in high demand bc of time constraints (happening while busy, timezones issues) the demands for videos will be higher as videos are ALWAYS readily available. Someone uploads at midnight your timezone? I mean it'll be there when you wake up, you won't have "missed" anything like you would have a livestream. Get a video schedule set out and you're GOLDEN- the first thing I do when I get home from work is check if a handful of youtubers have uploaded to put on to watch. If not, I rewatch some of my fav vids.

Also psychologically I actually think this is for the better of all CCs as a whole. Streaming, esp for some of the hourly requirements some of these ppl either HAVE to hit to get paid or WILLINGLY put themselves through (Tubbo) you have to wear your persona the ENTIRE time. You have to make sure you don't slip up that ENTIRE time. You have to be entertaining the ENTIRE time. You have to filter yourself because it's all live. To me this just sounds like what I do on a daily basis masking my audHD and that shit is so tiring and it's why I could NEVER be a streamer. If you're recording videos you can control what goes out. You don't have to wear whatever persona you decide to put on for 8hrs for a stream, you can record 3 hours of footage and then be done for the day, and that can either be one video or multiple depending on a lot of factors. Accidentally say your mom's name? Cut the clip. Bit isn't funny? Cut the clip. They will still have to actively filter themselves yes but for a much less amount of time. In the end CCs will have a lot more mind power that they're not using up to take care of themselves. I genuinely think it's psychologically better for them all.

It's unfortunate that the streaming industry is going to collapse this way. But also seeing how the communities heavily affected by streaming are more drama filled than communities w/o streaming, I'm lowkey hoping it's for the best. Pulling the plug like this imo is a mercy kill.

I appreciate the essay-andy-ing these are interesting thoughts! I don't think the streaming scene will collapse entirely but I do think that it will become more advantageous to be a youtuber because people have found that to be the most consistent for many years as a CC rather than streams which require a lot of additional things (like you mentioned)

And I feel like we are seeing quite a few people say they're going to prioritize youtube more in the future which seems to be the beginning of that transition

I am curious if twitch will ever try to keep certain big-viewer streamers on the platform with 'kick-style' ($$$$) contracts.

tommy's faith and trust in arthur's ability to take charge/take responsibility/be The Man is so astounding and bitter sweet, both in terms of how much the war broke arthur but also tommy's own sentimentality when it comes to him. and it's not a belief based on nothing at all either! it's knowledge and experience, and it's sort of the core problem when it comes to the frustration and resentment they feel towards each other; the constant back and forth and never seeing eye-to-eye despite craving that very thing and wanting something from the other that is impossible to give, because they are both so damaged in such irreparable ways

#fandom doesn't really consider that arthur was nominally the head of the family in s1 ie tommy didn't challenge it in those ten or so years #after their father left (minus the years lost to the war of course)#and that initially arthur still tries to enforce that authority with tommy during their first scene #but he and tommy aren't the same men anymore #tommy telling arthur this in the cellar scene and it visibly *hurts* arthur because he thinks he's just not able to be that person anymore #in any way #and tommy doesn't say these things out of cruelty but because he wants his brother back #they did set up a kind of reversal between them in s6; i don't know how far the film would go but it's something that could be interesting #so much happened between s1 and s6; 15 years later they aren't the same guys they were in 1919 either #*also the way polly and arthur sr and arthur himself react to tommy in s1 is pretty telling #he never was a timid person i'm sure but certainly less assertive and interested in being a leading figure in his family #though still bound by duty and love #given that everyone sort of seems to come to him with Their Issues even when not yet head of the family #it's an odd thing that people tend to miss about them idk. it's sort of obvious #i think the show is conscious of the fact that arthur IS the older brother #not such a set in stone hierarchy given that he's only three years older but it's not unimportant for either of them but esp #tommy

started rewatching voltron and i'm so pissed it took until the fourth episode for an entire episode without hunk being made fun of for being fat or "stupid" or anxious. just the way he was introduced was so??? from his introduction scene with pidge and lance we can tell that pidge is really smart and calculated, lance is really confident in himself and his skills to the point where it can be detrimental, he's a dork and a funny guy, and hunk is.....throwing up. he was one of the first paladins we saw and when keith showed up minutes later we already knew more about him from just a couple of seconds than we knew about hunk. we're told he's kind and caring and will put others before himself before we get to see him do those things.

#i know no one cares about vld in 2022 but i'm so fucking pissed y'all don't get it #esp cause some of voltron's appeal was the supposed diversity when in reality hunk's mere existence is treated like a joke #lance never get any character development which is just ???? he was the first one to become a paladin. he has pretty strong connections #with everyone on the team and he's just such an interesting character but all the development was given to the light skin characters :|#the introduction scene really made me consider not rewatch it anymore tho. they could have just had him panic and being all 'guys i think #i'm gonna throw up' and then lance being like 'c'mon hunk you're a smart guy you can do this' but he's just too nervous and they still fail #YOU DIDN'T NEED TO HAVE HIM THROWING UP FOR THE SIMULATOR TO GO TO SHT

actually, now that im thinking abt vagabond, i feel vinland saga could have been better to read if the pacing wasn't so quick. not vagabond slow, lol, but yeah

#personal #bc in vinland saga even when theres a chapter where the priest talks abt love its while theyre on the way to their next point #thorfinn momentarily being treated kindly is used to show that he's still obeying askeladd and his men invade the village #of the ppl that showed him kindness. uhh... i cant really think of any chapters not advancing the plot tbh #the first vol had it out of order and those could count but theyre definitely 'start of the manga' chapters #the anime changed the order and added more scenes which helped but if it was even longer i'd like that.#i wasnt gonna say filler but i think that technically does count since it wasnt in the manga lol. give me scenes not advancing the plot!!#esp since yukimura definitely seemed to be interested in viking culture/history

things i noticed/thoughts about most recent rewatches of dps (plus laserdisk deleted scenes):

whenever theres a group scene i've started watching the characters that the story isn't focusing on to see what they do and i've been having a fun time with that. pitts and cameron specifically seem to almost always be doing something interesting in the background.

hopkins!!!! my favorite minor character who somehow got character development despite having like 2 lines!!!! the last guy to stand on the desk but he did it!!!

sometimes i do like to think about what the rest of the students thought about the dead poets society, esp in alternate timeline neil lives dps keeps meeting universe. like yeah theres this guy in their class whose one of the most credited students in the school and we think he maybe started a cult. idk though. but that group runs out into the woods every few days to do god knows what and one of them keeps talking about "dead poets honor" whatever that means and holy shit welton star student neil perry started a cult.

i watched the movie with headphones. and maybe it's because ive seen this movie Far too many times and mabe i'm listening too hard but it was Really obvious sometimes when audio was added in post production. llke in the sweaty toothed madman scene when you can hear laughing and to be fair the camera is behind their heads. but it does Not look like anyone's laughing. my favorite is at the end of the phone call to chris scene where knox is like i'm gonna seize the day!! and runs up the stairs and the poets are cheering him on and neil is sort of yelling "carpe!!!!" and i could be wrong but i'm like 75% certain that the person singing is Also rsl so now neil is just speaking two times at once somehow. anyways it didn't ruin the experience for me or anything it was maybe just a little bit funny to notice but very sorry if this did ruin anyone's viewing.

people talk a lot about how rsl and ethan hawke really made their characters what they are but i have to add dylan kussman to that list. I get the impression that older versions of the movie didn't really give as much depth to cameron and watching dylan kussmans performance is like. he Knew who his character was so fucking well and it shows!! like the deleted scene of them getting clubs assigned. like i could tell So Much about cameron from that scene

for how little she actually appeared, there is an emphasis put on the fact that neil's mom smokes pretty frequently. and i think that's interesting considering neil is one of two poets shown actively smoking. neil's mom doesn't appear for very long in the movie but during that time it definitely seems like the movie is intentionally making parallels between the two, particularly in the last argument with neil's father. neil and his mother are both sitting for almost the whole time, which contrasts with his father who is standing. they are both almost powerless in this scene. they stand up at almost the same time. anyways there's a couple different possibilities for what this could mean? that i've though of? 1. to show that neil's mother is in a similar situation to the one neil is in in regards to neil's father and 2. maybe a stretch here but the theory that neil inherited his mental illness at least partially from his mother. i'm pretty sure 1 was fully intentional on the directors part, not entirely sure about 2 though

unmanned flying desket scene: it's probably cause he and ethan wrote the scene themselves but the way rsl talks in this scene feels more like the way he talks in general than the rest of the script. like briefly neil perry is talking in rsl's voice. one of my absolute favorite scenes though the sarcastic dialogue is so good.

we have all been really focused on nandor this season and his changed behavior toward guillermo and his feelings etc because we already know that guillermo has been in love with nandor for years, but i've seen some people kinda imply that guillermo is genuinely over nandor and over wanting to be a vampire and i just do not think that is the case whatsoever.

i think guillermo is in self preservation mode now. i think in s3 he really fully realized that he is deeply in love with nandor, and perhaps in their time apart he convinced himself that nandor would never feel the same, esp after he met this mystery boyfriend. (who, btw, is essentially non existent in the plot so far. they've made no effort to make us care about freddie almost half way through the season which has to be a deliberate writing choice. we know the djinn more than we know guillermo's bf!) i mean, why didn’t nandor come and find him?

i find it interesting that they haven't addressed the fact that nandor was going to turn guillermo at the end of their trip around the world. last episode they mentioned the fight, but not that part of it and i really think it has to be because they're saving that for something momentous. nandor thinks that if he turns guillermo, he won't stay. but guillermo stopped staying for that a long time ago - he stayed because he loves nandor. and this fact is why guillermo is slowly pulling away. it's not that guillermo doesn't want the things he has wanted for 13 years, it's not that he doesn't love nandor anymore. he's just protecting himself for once - as he should!

i say this because if you pay attention to the scene where nandor asks guillermo to be his best man, you see palpable disappointment from guillermo that that is what he said and not anything about their trip or their plans. and then you see him make peace with it. like he loves nandor and he wants to be a vampire, but he's tired of waiting and getting his heart broken.

i know there is this idea that nandor "doesn't deserve" guillermo and i think that's boring because this is a show about vampires. all the relationships are morally corrupt to some extent! that's the FUN of it. but i DO think that it is absolutely essential for nandor to realize the depth of his feelings and to pine for guillermo for a while, because nandor always want things to come easily for him and loving someone the way nandor wants love is hard work. remember laszlo telling colin that it took him and nadja CENTURIES to get where they are? and nandor wants that. he wants that degree of companionship for his eternity, and i think he wants it with guillermo but he afraid at the same time. which is a Delicious plot!

i'm excited to see how this unfolds. to see nandor realize/accept his own feelings and then maybe confess them and see guillermo's reaction. i honestly expect guillermo to be angry at first. like i've been here for 13 years and NOW you want me? and then that evolving into nandor having to work through his fear of guillermo leaving him, whether it being from nandor losing his importance if guillermo is also a vampire, or him finding someone else or by death! no matter what, guillermo could leave him and i think that's another big realization he needs to have.

this is all just for them to even out their dynamic, and since nandor has been "above" guillermo for so long, they have to have him grovel and suffer on the floor for a while before they can be together as true equals.

also, this is just like absolute pooorn for people who have been in unrequited love for years. who doesn't want the person they have wanted and thought would never want them back just down atrocious for them for a while?? it's what he deserves.

Heaven forbid you start dating someone he will waste no time asserting you’re trying to get some rando to take his place.if your child isnt that fond of your partner so be prepared for jing yuan to slide in and act like you’re so cruel for being with someone who makes your child that unhappy shame on you☹️

It takes awhile but after decent amount of failed relationships you are starting to think maybe just maybe he was right(he’s been sabotaging behind the scenes).maybe you were just throwing a tantrum.when you go back to apologize to him it’s like talking to a wall why’s he being so stubborn now???.it almost makes you reconsider your previous conclusion until he brings up that the only way he’ll forgive you is if give him a second chance even if its not romantic right away(he will not honor this if you actually say yes) after you agree you have to constantly remind him that you two are in fact not back together at the moment but in his mind you’re just being difficult in fact he’s acting like you two never split

When you two actually get back to a point where romance is on the table he’s already planning on getting you pregnant a few more times as a just incase after all leaving him when you had just one kid was hard enough you wouldn’t even dare think about it if there was a few more running around esp since he’s got it in your head that leaving would make your children just so upset you wouldn’t want to stress them out right vjdjs kinda tired but i hope this makes sense

It’s a difficult decision, and somehow, you ended up keeping it. You don’t plan to tell jing yuan, as you’re still reeling with the fact that he technically raped you. Thats what it was, but you hesitate with labeling it like that, even if you know it’s the truth. He forced it on you, and now you’re stuck with his baby because of it. Thats what he wanted, isn’t it?

And you can’t keep something like this away from him. You can try, but he’ll find out on his own if you never end up telling him. Once that happens, it’s pretty much over for you. There’s no way you’re going to keep the divine foresight’s baby away from him, it’s simply not going to happen. He’ll get the press involved if he has to in order to pressure you to cave. Whether you like it or not, jing yuan is one step closer now, a permanent part of your life. You’ll have to figure out how to tolerate him and play nice, because you don’t want your child to grow up in an unhappy family, do you?

Albedo might seem like cold and disaffected, but that’s mostly Neurodivergency (TM)

He’s extremely introverted and demi, he’s usually not interested in people at all and so comes off as curt and rude

But rarely, if he does form a connection, he very much quietly and intensely hyperfixates on it

“I used to think interaction with others was a waste of time. But after meeting you, I'd rather spend my time on you than other matters.”

As you can tell from the quote and his general interaction with the traveler, he’s pretty open about his interest. Albedo has a mix of very quiet, shy social awkwardness in some situations, and almost clinically shameless directness in others.

He’s lonely, but he wants very specifically someone who can see and understand him for what he is without flinching, and the people for whom the nature of his artificial creation would not change their demeanor towards him is who he tends to latch on.

While normally very precise and methodical, he can throw logic and principles out of the window when it comes to the person he really likes.

Like remember the last dragonspine event where he turned into an absolute spineless mush in order to fix traveler's ugly doodle without actually admitting that it's ugly.

They even specifically spelled out his thoughts to show that he does think it's ugly, while he's muttering out loud "no, its uh great, i mean i can maybe add a few embellishments if you would like me too".

Albedo is not an easy, quick fun type, he's a long time, deep investment only. But in return, he’s very curious and open to experiments, doesn’t have any societal prejudices, very accepting of other ppl’s oddities, artistic, deep-feeling, imaginative, with a quiet, but intense need for acceptance and praise.

He obviously won’t be loud and expressive, but if he’s your type, effort spent on him can be very rewarding, he is the case where you can give the lightest touch and see it ripple through him like a hurricane.

It happens on a seemingly normal evening while you two are drinking tea with desserts in your room. Albedo tells you about his latest research project, or, if more precisely, about how Cyrus from the Adventurers Guild keeps interrupting it with his inane training activities on Dragonspine. For someone who doesn’t know him, he’d sound just politely dry, but you can read sarcastic exasperation in his tone, so you laugh and sympathetically pat his arm. It’s a fairly innocuous gesture, but he suddenly freezes. You immediately take your hand away and apologize, remembering that he isn’t a very physical person, but he shakes his head, says that it’s okay. But when he tries to get back to his story, he’s clearly distracted and still thrown off balance, so you try to clear the air by promising to not do it again.

“No, I’m not displeased. On the contrary,” he says, throwing you an inquisitive glance askew. “It’s a somewhat interesting development on a… matter that’s been perplexing me for some time.”

“Huh? And what is this matter?” you ask, grinning, and are surprised to see Albedo, who is usually very straightforward even with the most direct questions when his curiosity is peaked, frown hesitantly.

“Well, it… depends. Do you see me strictly in… ah, platonic capacity? Because in that case, I would prefer to not endanger our friendship and move on from the subject.”

“Oh?” you smirk, raising an eyebrow and watch his pale sculpted cheeks color slightly as he avoids your gaze. “No, I’d be interested in your other… capacities.”

“Well, in that case I think it’s fairly obvious that I’m attracted to you.”

“I wouldn’t call it fairly obvious, but do go on.”

“The attraction itself does not surprise me, of course. What I find perplexing is how disproportionately strongly my body reacts. If you’re not averse to the idea of physical interaction, I would like to see what direct skin to skin contact would feel like.”

When you move away, he sits there in stunned silence, blushing, one glove half-taken off, and shorts-pant rolled up, really looking like a prince who tries to find an etiquette- appropriate response to being ravished.

“Are you okay?” you ask softly.

“Yes. But I feel a little dizzy, I’m not sure why.”

“It’s probably a sudden redirect of a bloodflow.”

He looks down at his crotch, blushes brighter, but says calmly.

“Oh. That makes sense, I suppose.”

“I guess this makes an experiment a success, huh?” “Do you want to go on?”

“Yes,” he says without hesitation. “But I would like to have some time to prepare.”

You think that this “time to prepare” is just to mentally catch his breath, but when you walk back into the room after some time, you find him by the bed, completely naked, clothes folded neatly on the nearby chair.

You walk up to him slowly, smile, not wanting to spook him.

“Hey, are you sure you’re not moving too fast?”

Watched Kung Fu Panda 4

I have...feelings...

Spoilers ahead

I didn't like it.

I can't believe there comes a day when I say that I don't like a Kung Fu Panda movie. The previous three have been amazing, all three of them imo

This one tho....

1. It irked me that the Furious Five didn't make an appearance, like, they're friends??? I understand it's probably budgeting issue, Beyonce and Jackie Chan, Ian McShane and Gary Oldman all in one movie is probably not affordable

But come on???

2. When Tai Lung appeared in the first 5minutes I was hyped that they might be redeeming him and Po will be choosing him as the Dragon Warrior

I know, it's not possible because he's literally been sent to the other realm but c'mon

For the sake of the plot i would've accepted any twist if it means he gets to be the Dragon Warrior

It would've been delicious, but nope my hope was dashed.

My bad i guess lol

3. Look, introducing a new character to be The Dragon Warrior just doesn't sit right with me. The story was uber cliche

I could smell the "i was taken in by villain and so I'm leading you to your doom and now i regret it we're friends again and I get to be the chosen one" from the moment Zhen pulled the 'was taken in by someone' thing

Call it misogyny. Maybe it is.

But I'm really sure i won't have any problem with it if they wrote Tigress or Snake as the Dragon Warrior

It's not about Zhen's gender.

It's about how it's written

4. It just felt like they wanted to cram as much as possible in a movie resulting in a chaotic but predictable storyline

I was bored. It didn't interest me as much as I always did with the previous movies

A lot of jokes also kinda fell flat which is sad because I always find the jokes in Kung Fu Panda really funny

5. I miss the Furious Five friendships with Po.

Esp Po and Tigress.

Viola Davis as The Kameleon tho? 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 I adore her voice. 💯/💯

I wish there's more time to develop her story because The Kameleon was terrifying--quite possibly the most terrifying KP villain. Totally overpowered at the end, but even before that when she could turn into just anything she wanted, she was already terrifying af imo

If they'd just use other characters in the franchise that we already know, they wouldn't have to waste sm time introducing Zhen and making us empathize and like her, thus giving more time for us to feel for the villainess or elaborate her story like Tai Lung, Lord Shen, Kai

Maybe it was just me tho. Maybe I'm too old for KP and it's catered for children so now it falls flat for me

She just came outta nowhere, little lore, introduces herself in a few sentences and we're expected to take Po and Zhen's side because she's the villain. There! Is! Not! Enough! Material! To go on with!

Too many redundant scenes

Once again, I blame the writing and introduction of a whole new character just to make her the Dragon Warrior

good lord, his reaction is the worst out of three of them, and probably out of everyone in general. if it's not him initiating it in the first place, then it's really bad for you. he'll be all kinds of a messed up, it won't be pretty at all. his mood swings would be extreme at this point, he'll change from quiet and calm to deranged in a blink of an eye. this is probably the closest you ever been to death when in relationship with him, because he truly wants you dead. he wants you to never ever exist anymore, he wants to rip your face off - that's how mad he is. he feels so betrayed and hurt and insulted, it'll take all his will not to end you right on the spot. he does not do that only because he's learnt from his mistakes so even when he's mad, he's pretty in control of his impulses. actually, don't try to avoid him after breaking the news, because he won't take it well. you don't have the right to feel scared anymore, you owe him that. see, league is very dear to his heart, so he'll do his best not to lose his cool in front of them, he'll force himself to be at least calm around you. he doesn't want his friends to witness his outbursts anymore, so he'll focus on them and pretend you're not even here. he's quite lucky he has this support, actually, it really helps him a lot. with time, he'll be able to overcome his bitterness, but by that time you'll be either kicked out of the league or kept at the distance so far from him he won't be able to meet you often. and when he does meet you, he won't even be petty, he'll be just straight up rude. you won't forget some of his words even on your deathbed. he's truly evil with them, since he's already decided to let you live. at some point he probably will understand why you did that, but he'll never forgive you for betraying his trust. the worst part? he saw that coming. he's just always right and yet he's still hoping for the best. every time he sees your face, he's reminded of the humiliation he went through. he's ashamed, insulted, it's all coming back, so yeah. better stay away from him from now on.

he won't show how shocked or hurt he is, because first and foremost, he doesn't feel so himself, yet. and he's known for his odd reactions, so you'll probably miss the whole point. you see how chill he is with his "sure, see ya later", you feel relieved because no one is offended, everything's great. no-no-no. his true reaction will be much later, when the sense behind your words finally got through his skull. that's when the show begins. if he loves you - and he does, otherwise there would be no relationship - he'll try to do something about it. he tried so hard to make it work, he really did. relationships are very difficult to him, because he was not really taught how to express properly that he cares, he always viewed that as being weak. he'll ask you why and he won't let you live until he's got his answer. he will actually try to reason with you and he can be pretty convincing. what's surprising, he's not even mad, he's in his 'look at me' mode, which means he won't give up, he refuses to become a failure once again. he'll go great lengths just to prove you that you both can still do it, he will actually try to change his behaviour, but it's not the problem. it's such a horrible scene to look at, actually, it's unbearable to see how desperate and pitiful he'll be at times, when he still craves your attention. at some point he might even beg you, and he genuinely might not remember this later. but the main problem is, he can't grasp on a simple fact that you don't really want to do anything about him anymore. and the moment he gets it, like, really gets it, it's over for you. he himself can't really comprehend what he feels about you now, hatred or it's still love. his feelings are very strong and he's pretty emotionally driven so like with shigaraki you better keep your distance. it won't help much with your own feelings tho, because of his inability of showing emotions of consciousness, he'll blame you as well as his family for what he'll become. unlike shigaraki, he has no one to hold on to, and he's far from being as composed as hawks. so the things he'll do... you'll probably regret you've met him.

hawks

his reaction is quite plain and simple, especially in comparison to the two above. he'll ask why, of course, but he won't argue with your feelings. he can't really force you to be with him nor simply love him. so he'll let you go without making a scene, really peaceful to you, and to him - well. just like for dabi, it takes a lot for him to start a relationship. he's not trusting at all, he's bad with understanding his own (let alone others) feelings. so he actually needs to take this all into consideration and in the end still chose you, for him to get in a realtionship. and now you've ended it all - not your fault, but he definitely feels, like it's on him. even when it's not. his confidence is slowly lowering, slowly he'll become even more closed off. unlike shigaraki or dabi, there's no need to avoid him, but meeting him is pretty awkward for sure. he doesn't like to be near you anymore, he won't shout it in your face, but you'll definitely feel the change. with time, he becomes more and more aloof near you, and not in a calming and peaceful way. if you work together, and you get scolded, he'll just watch. he won't cheer you up later, in fact, he won't say a word to you. if you need help, he won't land a hand anymore. you thought you were ready for it, but that's not quite what you were expecting. because he'll continue to watch you living your life, until one day he feels like he can't quite figure out, what was that he'd find so endearing in you before. the first time after you two break up he feels some sort of relief. now he can move on.
