I think it’s kinda funny in it’s own way. As viewers/readers, we never really get to meet or know Thief King or Atemu. The versions in the series are just the yami’s playing a role, we know Yami’s memories are shot and I doubt he’s anything like he would of been 5000 years ago living as an Egyptian Prince and I honestly don’t trust all of Bakura’s memories either, plus the whole merge with Zorc and live in the ring for 5000 years thing. So neither of them as the guys back in ancient Egypt they’re pretending to be. Bakura’s just playing as Thief, but he’s changing the narrative, I doubt thats how Thief acted in the original battle because he wouldn’t of had the same tricks and means to fight as Bakura does (like the hour glass and like Atemu having Yuugi, etc) But I just kinda think it’s funny, cause they’re apparently so important but we never learn who they truely were or anything really about them besides Thief’s good at holding grudges no matter how long it takes.
#oh and I'm pretty sure it's on this account but I do see yami and ancients as different people just cause the scenario's in which they were#raised especially yami yugi he has no memories. None. On my hands and knees begging the English translators to find a better word for “sworn siblings” other than just “siblings.” I get that sworn siblings aren’t a concept in western media (or at least not in the same way. I know we have found families), I get that they can’t just say these characters are dating because censorship laws, but like… there’s gotta be a better word for this.

okay, so, like, subnautica, right?
recent news is that subnautica 3 is in production/in the works, hooray!! literally cannot be more excited about this, it’s my favorite game ever and i am so thrilled to see where the next one is headed but, i feel like, what the next one is going to be about is. . obvious?
who knows!! maybe im losing my mind here and i am just a tad too into these games so other people didn’t think about this but, sub3 is gonna be about the architect home planet. it has to be, doesn’t it??
the exact quote from the people working on the game is “I dream of visiting new worlds, exploring intricate alien ecosystems and lost civilizations. I don't think I'll ever get tired of the fantasy of making contact with intelligent life. I also dream about going on these adventures with friends. Getting lost, together.” and people are theorizing that the game takes place either in the past, showing 4546B a thousand years ago, takes place in the crater’s edge, or another unseen part of 4546B but. . .4546B’s story is done? the only loose end there is Ryley, who i would love to see again, but the planet’s mysterious have all been answered? i don’t know how they are coming to those conclusions when BZ perfectly sets up what the next game will be about?

Hisuian Zoroark is one of the sickest designs in pokemon, but the model on that bloke is FUCKED. It's really bad. If they bother to port her over to other games, you know they ain't changing that model, either, 'cept to make the textures paler & duller.
I continue to despise pokemon, despite being a pokemon fan, I fucken guess. At this point, I gotta go all in on summat else, like Cassette beasts.

MEGA EVOS WHAT'S THAT? DYNAMAX NOW.#the way they slice up the games to have exclusives SPECIFICALLY to piecemeal them back to you in 2 different games#so you either need to buy both (THAT IS 120 DOLLARS) or pay for online + have a friend. it has always been predatory.#it's. BAD.#& let's not pretend that 1/2 the lazy work is because the workers HAVE to be lazy. they pump these games out so fast that#nobody has time to write & revise & rewrite the stories which is fucking GLARING when you play sword or violet#in violet it is blatantly obvious they had the end planned first & then made up the rest as they went but had a hard time#connecting it back to the end so there's a noteable rush in the game & it sucks also if you call that game nonlinear i will attack you#IT ISN'T. BECAUSE OF THE LEVELS#otherwise you'll hit a lvl 60 gym at lvl 40 then have to go back to fight the lvl 40 gym at lvl 70#the studio rushes their workers & it results in sloppy implimentation of halfbaked mechanics & poor deisgns & writing#i pray that if there is a god that nintendo actually does slow down on these shits i would like the games my little cousins play#to not be such fucken rushed & undercooked hot garbage. fuck you

feeling misery and despair about going back to work btw. im trying to suppress it and i did a good job but the inevitable is inevitable

Idk if it’ll be the case when I read more story but so far I think it’s very funny that the in universe responses to the two pairs of boys are so drastically different… like when I watched that one petite sekai vid w/the vivid Bad squad café, the offscreen npcs were like “omg those two boys are so cool and mysterious and hot” meanwhile literally any time someone comes in contact with Rui and/or tsukasa they’re immediately like “oh god it’s those weird guys again please don’t look at me I don’t wanna talk to you I gotta get outta here NOW!!!!” like even when they met each other their first thought was “huh that guy’s kinda weird” but at least they liked it enough to hang out…. They have each other…. wonderhoys against the world I guess!!!
