So I didn't get this dialogue with the Dream Visitor the first time I got to Act 2, since I followed Kar'niss straight to Moonrise. So I loaded up an old save and got back to here and

First I have to come clean on something. As I may have made apparent in past posts, my Tav is basically my FF14 character translated as best I could. From WoL to Tav, not an unusual move for us 14 players getting into bg3.

Since I ship my 14 character with the Crystal Exarch/G'raha Tia, I based my Dream Visitor off him as best I could. So now he looks like this:

Which I mean, look Miqo'te aren't in bg3 and they always read D&D Elf to me, and then I thought using the vitiligo for his body turning to crystal, except here it's more like ceremorphosis halted mid-transformation, was very clever. I probably could have done a bit more with his makeup, but I like the naked look, he looks like he hasn't taken care of himself since time stopped meaning anything.

So yeah originally he just said I showed resolve in infiltrating the cult, since I was already in Moonrise. But this, is so much better.

And it's the honest answer at this point, she hasn't been reunited with Minthara yet.

I'm sorry it's just incredibly funny to me to picture the Crystal Exarch telling Alice "You did the right thing when you killed all those refugees." Makes that "Become what you must. Become the Warrior of Darkness" tagline for Shadowbringers feel very different.

But yeah, spoken like someone who's hiding how conflicted they are, huh?

Oh wait are we actually acknowledging it? I didn't get this either. I don't know if it's unique to this path or if I missed the rolls before.

Anyway, glad I loaded up a save to go check on this. Those beats are very sweet, plus I've been meaning to show off my dream guardian.
