nothing is funnier to me than every single utdr character—humans, monsters, darkners, vessels, ralsei—knowing exactly who you mean when you reference "that little white dog," but not a single one realizing he's any MORE than a little white dog.

"yeah that's toby the annoying dog. he just hangs around. sometimes he gets in the way at really inconvenient times. he's always everywhere. he's a good boy."

he's in the dark world, he's in the light world, he's in the underground, he's hiding in every other room and battle, he survives impossible situations, he is the essence of deus ex machina on multiple occasions... and this is never questioned.

the exception to this is papyrus, who is sure that the dog has a vendetta against him specifically, but can never prove it.
