Wow so Ed and Stede really agreed to take it slow, only to speed run through everything and completely messing it up.

They are taking a sharp turn, becoming a killer and an infamous pirate for Stede, a fisherman (or a simple guyTM / inn keeper / restaurant owner) for Ed.

Of course, they had sex, but timing was bad and they both messed up. Stede blew up and Ed disengaged. Sigh

They need to be reminded that their relationship is worth fighting for and that compromises need to be made if you want to make it work. And it’s worth it with the right partner. They need to find a middle ground. Stede would have been killed after 5min without Ed and Ed probably isn’t built for the quiet (and boring) life of a fisherman.

kilt guy being the laid back, go-with-the-flow type and immediately reminding billy of argyle which is why he’s drawn to him in the first place.

kilt guy (who i’ve named scott for obvious reasons) letting billy come round whenever, knowing when billy needs sex or when he just needs a hug.

Zero impulse control leads to me waking up already late for something but seeing new nail polish on the table and having to use it,fucking it up in the hurry and now feeling like I've been sanitized of my gayness with this caked nude nail polish on my nails. Or maybe thats cuz the news has been screaming at me about how my government wants me dead and gone this whole morning. so… MC being a god but wasn’t aware of it?

I play an rpg/fashion game called Shining Nikki—the story starts where you find yourself living in Nikki’s heart with no memory of your past life, but later in the story you manage to separate yourself from her and gain your own body again… and it also turns out you’re a god, with no memory of it and lacking the kind of power you would expect a god to have.

I don’t really see MC as the creator of Twisted Wonderland (although I think that hc exists), but maybe a god amongst other gods in the twst universe, and for some reason they were sent to our world (or one similar to ours) and had their memories erased before being summoned back to TW.

And some people secretly know all about this. Crowley seems most likely (almost too likely), but what about other NRC staff? Or other students? Or other NPC’s associated with the playable characters… (oh i guess that’s pretty much everyone lmao 😅)

There isn’t much mention about gods in twst, except for Idia being based on Hercules, but Hades apparently existed… EXCEPT… wait a minute, where is Hades?

I checked the chats and Idia speaks about him in the past tense: “the underworld king had…”; “the underworld king was…”

Hades didn’t die in the movie, and he’s not supposed to die cuz he is a god, right?

Do people really see the Great Seven as literal beings in history who existed, or are they just legends or symbols? Some are, some aren’t?

Does it make sense to now wonder about this?

Can u imagine Whitney and maribel constantly sending each other pics of their grandchildren and awwwwww-ing, that's all their chat history is, just all grandbabies all the time. They might not have hit it off right away but once they got those grandchildren they were instant bffs

Maribel and Whitney are constantly making snide comments in public, Maribel muttering under her breath about Whitney's latest eccentricity and Whitney flat out trolling her. And then Santana's like, ffs why can't you get along? To which they both look confused and proclaim that they love each other and constantly gush about their joint families in their private chat. They just have a very different tone in person lol. The grandkids especially would really unite them even if they go about (grand)parenting differently.

I also HC that Whitney knew about the girls and Santana's sexuality before Maribel did and the fact that the Pierces took care of Santana when she couldn't hurts Maribel's pride a bit but she's just grateful Santana had that safe space. Both before she came out because she could be more open there and after when sometimes the Lopez house just reminded her of Alma too damn much.

Hi! I love all your insights on things. I was wondering if you could help me with something. In John Paul analysis, I often hear people talk about how John said that whenever he tried to get close to Paul, Paul pulled away. Which makes sense because we all know Paul is emotionally avoidant. But the thing is, I feel like I’ve read every interview with John Lennon from the 70s and I’ve never actually seen him say that? Do you know where people get the idea that John felt like he couldn’t get close to Paul, other than just speculation?

That would be because it's not a quote from John directly. It's something Klein said John told him (Yoko said similar things e.g. "No one hurt John like Paul". As you've said, it's got so much traction because it sounds like something John would think/feel.

This is filtered through Klein though. Both in the sense it's John talking to someone that we know hated Paul at the time when they were at their worst. But also Klein was... who he was, so we can't just trust what he's saying. But, that said, it's very typical of John to say they weren't close because Paul never let them be. It's a really interesting take and one that I think it was probably easy for John to overlay onto events when he was in the middle of a massive heartbreak.

It's a specific quote on a wider sentiment that John repeated a lot during the break up. Like when he said they hardly ever wrote together, which he later admitted was an outright lie. He was very keen on destroying the Beatles 'myth'. I think God really tells you everything he was going through at that time. He's rewriting an entire belief-system on the fly, very publicly.

So, that's a long way of saying that John sort of said that, but also didn't. What he said was, "I thought we were close, that I loved him and he loved me, but it turns out that was all a lie. And, now I think about it, I should have known that all along."

Not to be a downer, but I do wonder if this is the crux of the issue that was never resolved for John. For whatever reason, we know that Paul feels he was never able to articulate how much he loved John to him. I wonder if this sentiment is what he's using to base that fear on, and if so, I suspect that's why they were never able to fully reconcile. Paul couldn't off the reassurance that John needed. Which I get if so! That's a lot to ask of Paul to put himself out there after the break-up mess, but I think it might be a source of regret for him.
