It really gets to me that Spamton didn’t do anything to deserve the things that happened to him

He was never given any attention as an advertiser, his friends abandoned him, his helper abandoned him. Like, everything that happened to him wasn’t his fault. Guess that’s why it’s hard for me to count Spamton as like, a true mastermind of anything lol. He’s very clearly a desperate guy who has been kicked down repeatedly, for no reason. Just bad things happening to someone for nothing, and that really speaks to me on a personal level tbh. Bad horrible things happen to regular people for no other reason than just because. What an incredibly sad character, man.

Not excusing his actions with kris lol, but everyone who talked about him from before never described him as a person who hurt others or was bad.

They did describe him as a sleazy business man and very religious tho. Even when he was famous though, no one seems to have described him as a bad person. I personally think he was like mettaton, very showy, loud, kind of annoying. I will say his plans for revenge and getting a soul are villanous tho lol.

Anyways though, I don’t think Spamton is truly evil though. He seems like someone pushed into a corner who is ready to take any chance at things being better for once. I think if he thinks he has to do something bad to get it he will, but he knows it’s wrong.

It just gets to me that it seems like Spamton does know what he’s doing is wrong, but like he isn’t given a chance to be good. In Snowgrave you completely destroy any chances of that, and in regular runs you only get to see a hint of what he wants when you cut the strings. I just think a lot of his bad actions are because he thinks there’s no other real option. So its hard to judge him entirely lol.

I do hope we get to see him again someday. He really deserves a chance at redemption and things being better.

not to sound arrogant haha but i honestly really like my own art even while i'm always looking for ways to improve and challenge myself. like it's interesting to me that if you say 'i want to draw better' there's an assumption that you don't like your art but it's really not necessarily true! i still love really old pieces i've done even though since working on them i've changed and improved, and i loved them at the time i made them too. like yeah the process can be frustrating sometimes when you come up against your limitations or can't quite get it to click, but it's totally outweighed by how satisfying and joyful art is

also like, learning and getting better is so fun. like for me that's part of the enjoyment of art

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
