(technically it’s composed of two companion fics and only one of them is isekai but they’re both absolutely wonderful)….. like i genuinely can’t explain how much i adore this fic. i don’t have it in me. it’s written so beautifully and thoughtfully in every single way + it has one of my favorite depictions of gojo ever + it’s made me cry at least ten times and that’s …. like . the minimum amount. i’ve cried a LOT over this fic and consider it one of my favorite books in general <333 it’s like 300 pages so. yk.

tbh the orv extra stories (not the current side-story with lee hakhyun! these are one-shots) are SO key to understanding yjh. i appreciate that singshong took a moment to give us more about his past, that would be inaccessible in orv itself. we see him outside of dokja and sooyoung's narrations and we see what kind of person he was, early early on in his long, horrible life

one of the extra stories (dumplings made by others) is free to read, the other ('Mia') was part of the e-book vol 5, but you can purchase the chapter and request access to a translation from a few orv translators :)

in general ritsuka tries to maintain a pretty casual relationship with most of her servants, but if they're the type to demand respect be shown to them (like gil for example) then she's fine doing that... usually. sometimes she'll be casual anyways. for example, she will die before she lets jason know how proud she is to call him her captain--

that said, she does hold a lot of respect for servants by default, and it takes a lot to lose that respect. they're legendary heroes, after all! she just feels that it's best if they treat each other as equals in most cases.
