Magma:

Gang tycoon in Volcano Rock City, Rock Troll. Than’s big bro, doesn’t show his face and makes Than talk in his stead. Had one of his ears and the tip of his tail’s bitten off in a fight, unusually big for trolls. Wicked temper.

Than(like Johnathan but shortened in the worst way possible):

One of Floyd’s evil ex’s, Magma’s lil bro. He’s talks a lot of shit for someone who can’t fight. Wet paper bag personality and is just generally scummy and unpleasant to be around.

(Also I like to think Rock trolls have a bit of a difference biologically with their tails, Pop tolls have longer thinner ones to balance in trees and such. Rock trolls have shorter thicker ones, further off the ground to keep it from getting accidentally burned due to living in high temp areas.)

The idea is that I headcanon Thanatos stronger than Charon (and I didn't find that info in the game). Zag would often jokingly insinuate that he wanted to fight him. At some point, Thanatos became bored with these jokes, and he responded to Zagreus by agreeing to spar with him.
