Danny: Robin, don't do this!

Damian: How dare you tell me what to do. You are not my father!

~Danny's last brain cell twitches~

Danny gets down on a knee with the ring box.

Bruce: Do I understand correctly? You need this performance so that in a dispute with my son you have the last word.

Danny: Absolutely. Our short-lived relationship will be as platonic as you want.

Bruce:

Danny: Please bear in mind I will fly to Thalia if you say no. Her father will obviously not mind having me as a relative. But what will Damian say if I give him a younger brother?

Danny: Damian, put your sword down.

Damian: I already told you are not m..

Bcuce: Show your father some respect, son.

Damian *sees The Ring of Rage on Bruce's finger*

Dick *falls off the chandelier and wheezes with nervous laughter*

Danny *in a panick*: Are you okay?

Dick: i'm sorry.so-so..dad.i mean Danny..dad hAghAha

Damian: Pennyworth, call the place where you ordered Jason's memorial. I want to order a gravestone to remember the day I buried all respect for this family.

Jason: Alfred, Alfred, I can..

Alfred: Ask your father, my dear boy.

Jason is on his way to ask Bruce about expanding the family library.

Danny in the chair: Hey, Jason!

The route is automatically rebuilt.

Jason: Hey, daddy, can I kill the Joker? Danny: S-Sure?

Red Hood to Reporter: Daddy said it’s OK.

Danny: Don’t look at me like that! You know I can’t refuse children! Dani looks at me with puppy dog eyes and I’m ready to give her the moon. Bruce: We’re getting a divorce.

Tim *is eavesdropping outside the door* , *was ready to ask Danny if Conner could move into his room*: Happiness was so close.

Young Dick Grayson breaking both his legs on patrol attempting a complicated flip on ice bravely fighting bad guys but still being forced to attend galas in a wheelchair so just showing up in increasingly elaborate ways of mobility

Random Socialite trying to have a normal conversation: So, I heard your ward was in an accident. How is he?

Brucie Wayne: Oh you know, not happy being stuck inside all the time but we’re finding ways to get through it :)

*Cue Dick wheeling up in some sort of vaguely elephant shaped monstrosity, cast legs strapped to the sides with no clear means of steering or propulsion*

12 year old Dick: hi :)

Brucie: :)

Random Socialite:

From that point on it just gets completely out of control. Every weekend Dick is spotted in some new contraption: a race car, a hobby horse, a rocket - he’s driving around stealing the show. Bruce is just happy he’s actually easy to keep track of now, and the kidnapping rates have gone down dramatically since he’s strapped to at least 50 pounds of metal at all times.

Years later when Jason is in a similar situation he thanks whatever higher power is out there Bruce donated the chairs to charity so he doesn’t have to be wheeled about in a glorified trundle truck.

DPxDC prompt

Team Phantom all have an inside joke where they refer to Dani as Danny’s daughter, while also calling Vlad an absentee mother who doesn’t pay child support.

Eventually Danny’s at the Justice league space station and hears some of the senior members talking about how the current Robin has attempted to stab a multiple people.

Danny curiously asks them about Robin and eventually they tell him he’s 11 and he just accidentally blurts out that his daughter’s around robins age.

The league members, stare at “eternally a teenager” Danny and go through mini existential crisis about the member that looks like a child having a child of their own. One of them asks if his daughter’s adopted and Danny says that she’s biologically his.

They ask about her mother or other parent and he says that if his daughters “mother” paid child support then he could have a say in things.

Eventually the conversation gets to Batman’s ears and he corners Phantom, not for learning sensitive information about Robin, but for parenting tips.

Now Danny’s giving Batman advice on how to treat/care for a surprise ex-assassin child with an absentee criminal “mother” who obsesses over their child’s father.

When Damian was a child, Thalia Al'Ghul made contact with a pair of scientists studying Lazarus water and instead of killing them or keeping her distance she manages to befriend them.

So as Damian grew up in the League, he got much needed socialization with the Fenton children under the guise of ensuring exposure to the pits wasn't impeding his development.

So years later when the Bats need information about either ghosts or the Infinite Realms, Damian lets up that he knows a guy.

But when they go visit Danny, Damian's brothers just can't figure out why he seems so nervous about it- until Danny opens the door and Damian just melts a little.

He's never gonna live this down.

POV: you are telling fanfics writers that they don't have to antagonize or kill off character's bio parents to validate their relationship with a mentor character/ writing a fic about a character and their parental figure doesn't invalidate the character's bio parents and everything their did while raising their child / people are allow to have more than one parental figure in their life and you can have a good relationship with your alive bio parents and still see other adults as parental figures because love doesn't have limits

Damian when he realised he had a brother out of the Bat-Family.

Isn't he so sweet?

I hate that they made Thalia a heartless monster and also, Damian would never say his mother was a monster. She felt deeply and cared for him. Yes, he could be replaced, yes, he was raised as that.

"We were fine without you." Another thing that I hate is that every movie where Damian is, he is always wrong. They always make him look like a villain and I don't have words for it, because I would attack DC writers like a feral wolf if they keep doing it.

They hate a boy-who-was-raised-as-an-assasin winning.

DeadSerious soul mate au where Danny is pressured into a first date with Damian by the Wayne family. Its just lunch, but somehow it still ends in disaster. Not from Gotham Rouges or even the literal ghosts that seem to follow Danny wherever he goes, nope.

It was Dannys own discomfort paired with Damians anger that made the date go up in flames. All it took was Damian talking down to him one time for Danny to say, "I think we're done here." Before paying for his half of the tab and leaving the youngest Wayne sitting there shell-shocked.

The food hadn't even come out yet.

Needless to say the media ate this up like a half starved coyote.

Later, he opened the door to his house and a woman calling herself Thalia introduced herself and invited herself inside. She then proceeded to ask exactly why he didn't like her son. Danny could sense this woman actual wanted to slaughter him, even behind her pleasant smile, so he explained he wasn't interested in dating someone with anger issues.

He's had a crappy home life as long as he could remember and he'd rather be alone and loveless than be in a toxic relationship where he was constantly afraid of being verbally and emotionally torn down and hit.

Thalia seemed to except his answer, her blood lost abating and they chatted a bit more about the type of people he liked (probably to matchmake them in the future), the type of people Damian liked, the things Danny liked to do, ect.

Danny made sure she left without knowing about the lab, but made extra sure to lock up the portal and check the ghostly/magic/Tucker approved firewall to make sure no one could steal any Fenton research. He even sealed the armory shut with his ice so that no one could even get in.

PLEASE picture the batfam due to some super powerful mind control villain of the week somehow all getting mind controlled at once to go all out on behalf of the villain.

Picture the justice league losing their collective shit having to declare a world level threat, scrabbling to gather every single hero they have to try and contain the the results of Bruce Wayne and his children using all their skills for evil.

Picture every generation of titans having to work together to have a chance against their version of Robin, an entire team just for one bat.

Picture the league trying to strategise and target Damien’s Robin first, isolating the smallest to try and draw out the others and instead making things 10x worse when the baby of the family starts calling for help and they trigger every single Protect Instinct the bats have on top of the mind control

Picture by the time they’re subdued and the villain is apprehended, 6 league members are in hospital, 3 of which in the ICU, including superman due to the sheer quantity of kryptonite that materialised from untility belts.
