Undercover Phantom AU: a No One Knows AU featuring lots of silliness and maybe sometimes a little angst, focusing primarily on the newfound friendship between Phantom, Tucker, Sam… and Fenton. An ongoing webcomic, originally posted on tumblr!

(The Princess and the Pea retelling? Set before the events of the novel. The Ghost King of Paradise Manor is selecting a bride. Xie Lian doesn't really know what he's doing there.)

Hello. I wanted to share my MDZS Star Trek AU "To Boldly Go." I started writing it in 2021 only to not touch it for three years, so I'm just proud of myself for finally completing it! It's specific to the Star Trek shows TNG, DS9, and VOY, and though it includes a lot of direct references to Star Trek, I think non-Star Trek fans could still understand and enjoy it. It is a crossover and later includes characters from TGCF, but they are not the focus.

There are a lot of foreshadowed elements and characters who haunt the narrative. And hopefully, I captured the essence of Star Trek, too.

the best feeling ever is finding THE author for your preferred ship/fandom- it’s hard to find an author that consistently writes the stuff u love (no judgement, y’all can write whatever the hell u want and i think that’s great) but when u do find that one writer, it’s absolutely amazing

(we don’t gatekeep here:

for WWX/LWJ i highly recommend athena_crikey on ao3- they have an abundance of fics with a variety of plots and the story telling is amazing - many of their works are AUs (modern)

for beefleef or HC/HX i HIGHLY recommend butchgoth (GREMLINGIRL) on ao3- their writing is *chefs kiss* and the characterization of characters is very well done- they also write other ships in the fandom (including rare pairs) - warning this author mainly writes heavy themes of gore and violence so be aware of the tags

You know what I love, when fandoms have fics that are fully flushed-out storylines that are occasionally better than the source material. Like No Paths Are Bound, and The Rigel Black Chronicles, were godsends.

I firmly believe that every fandom should have a fic that the whole fandom knows that takes place in-universe.

Like if I see another person say that the ultimate Klance fic is Dirty Laundry I'm gonna flip my shit, like no 😭😭, I want something that's long, in-universe, the fan-favorites survive, the characters are flushed out, and it doesn't completely forget about the other characters.

Their fingers brush as Xie Lian takes the chopsticks and Xie Lian can’t make himself pull back right away, not when he catches the way Hua Cheng is watching him, with a kind of smile that makes him feel as if he’s burning up from the inside out.

When chef Hua Cheng invites his friend Xie Lian over to his restaurant and cooks him a ridiculous amount of delicious dishes, Xie Lian can't help but wonder how he got so lucky. His feelings get the better of him and wonders what would happen if he tells Hua Cheng how be feels?
