Run is known in the rap community as being able to rock the mic with his tight rhyme game. Before forming Run-D.M.C. He was the lead vocalist for the hip-hop group named “ The Force". In 2004, Run was ordained as a Pentecostal minister and started going by the name Rev Run has had a successful rap career and gained more notoriety to a younger audience after his reality show Run’s House the show was like any other reality show simply featured his everyday life and his family. He and his wife had a cooking show that really seemed genuine. What I like about Run is, he has never comprised a man of God, as a father, and his rap game has never faltered I think we all are familiar with Run-D.M.C., and a majority of their toe-tapping songs and that’s the big impact they had on hip hop and popular music. Even with the loss of their DJ Jam Master Jay Run-D.M.C.pretty much stayed to their style of hip hop even with the different trends of hip hop.Run-D.M.C.  is one of the greatest groups in rap music and I'm glad   Run is a part of it.
