When I write novels with characters who have my flaws they always spiral and get worse and destroy themselves and that seems completely and utterly inevitable. but when I write dnd characters who have my flaws they kind of just. can't. like they are one of the heroes they have to be pro-social they need to do well and improve and level up. and they have a built in support network to make it easier. this post was supposed to be a metaphor about isolation or something but I've lost my point
