❤️Sterek Valentine Week 2023❤️

5th Year Anniversary!

Regardless of your current relationship status, Valentine’s Day will be here soon. So let’s get creative and celebrate together for the fifth year in a row!

Sterek Valentine Week is an event that celebrates the eternal love between Derek Hale and Stiles Stilinski, characters from Teen Wolf. This event runs through the week before Valentine’s Day (February 8th - February 14th). Each day has a “Valentine’s Day/Love” prompt assigned to it:

(Wednesday) February 8th - Wine  (Thursday) February 9th - Scent (Friday) February 10th - Velvet  (Saturday) February 11th - Confession (Sunday) February 12th - Lick (Monday) February 13th - Rose (Tuesday) February 14th - Honeymoon

How to participate:

All you have to do is examine the prompt list, and create a work/s that corresponds with your chosen prompt.

There’s no need to sign up!

All forms of fan work are acceptable (fic, art, edits, gifs sets, mood boards, vids, playlists etc).

Remember: Tag your work with our event’s tag, use trigger warnings and, tag for mature content if applicable.

Publish and tag your work on your own tumblr and I will reblog it.

If by end of day, you don’t see your post reblogged on the event’s tumblr, feel free to send me a message with the link!

Timing:

For this event, late posting is ALWAYS welcome. The only rule is to not post your work too early. And this is just so we can space out the entries. If the date assigned to your prompt has passed, you are free to publish your work any day after.

Sterek Mini Bang 2024 Sign Ups!

Welcome to the first round of @sterekminibang! You may know us from the several events we run, including @sterekbigbang and @sterek-exchange, but we wanted to bring back the mini bang so more fans can have access to an author-artist collaboration event.

This will run as a traditional big bang but in a mini bang format.

The word count is 5k minimum and the art requirement is 1 artwork (which can be a sketch or incomplete artwork, however, we encourage it to be as complete as possible).

You can read more about our RULES and FAQs for the event. Our schedule for this round can be found here. As this is a mini bang, the schedule is shorter than a traditional big bang.

You can sign up below on the Google forms for whichever role you are interested in. You can sign up as an author, artist, or both for this event.

Reminder for prompt drops!

Hey everyone! Just a reminder that we have the collections open for prompt drops! You can drop them in either collection: Parent Collection (established 8/2022) or Sub-Collection (established 6/2023) for extra prompts.

You can also claim any of the prompts over at the fix-it event. There are still 67 prompts up for claims!

Remember, this is a Sterek blog for sterek writing prompts, therefore, all your prompts should be sterek-centric and in either of the boy's perspectives or third person. With the addition of Eli to the sterek family, his perspective is accepted for the prompt drop also.

Crossovers are welcome as long as Sterek is the focus (I love me some SPN, TVD, TWD, etc crossovers).

You are not required to claim a prompt to drop a prompt! Give us all your sterek ideas!

Make sure to @sterekwritingprompts and we can even reblog your prompt here if you're not an A03 member! We can also put your prompts in for you if one of the mods has time.

WHAT IS IT?

A week-long fandom event dedicated to celebrating everyone’s favorite big sister, Laura Hale, back again for a fifth year!

WHEN IS IT?

The last full week in September, Sunday the 19th through Saturday the 25th!

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

Create! Write a fic, make a gifset, draw art, compile a rec list or a fanmix, spill your favorite headcanons, or put together some nifty meta. Any and every medium is welcome, as long as what you produce centers around or heavily features Laura.

This is an informal, low-pressure event! You don’t have to sign up or make any promises. You’re welcome to produce something for every day of the week, or just drop in for a day or two, whichever suits you best. Just submit your work directly to this blog, or post it to your own and tag it with LHAW21 so that I can find it and reblog it here for everyone to see!

WHAT ARE THE RULES?

1. Laura must be either a main character or a prominently featured secondary character in whatever content you produce.

2. All content must be tagged appropriately, including any and all warnings/triggers.

3. All ships are welcome, and no ship-bashing will be tolerated.

4. Please be respectful in all your dealings.

WHAT ARE THE PROMPTS?

The prompts haven’t been chosen yet! Every year so far has been full of great ideas, but we all need a little variety in our lives. So, as with previous years, I am opening up the decision-making process to you, the participants!
