I'm still a work in progress when it comes to outlining books. Sometimes, I start writing a new chapter and I have a nice tidy breakdown of all the major narrative beats/character growth moments and maybe even some bits of dialogue or description that occur in said chapter. And sometimes I just have this:

The batfam, or just Jason, as Red Hood got kidnapped, probably by someone (rogue, magician, cult member, etc). But Danny was there too. Only, he is Danny Fenton, not Phantom. His energy level is down because he fought a lot of ghosts (and his parents + GIW) earlier.

The situation is dire. Danny needs to to fight this enemy and rescue RH (who is also his idol) but doesn't know how until he recalls that he can get energy from other ghosts. And Jason, who got dunked in lazarus water, has similar substance like ectoplasm.

Danny doesn't want to be rude so he ask ‘I don't want to die without at least having a first kiss so can i kiss you?’

Jason, while flabbergasted and a bit uncomfortable because Danny is clearly a minor, grants his wish because Danny looks scared and desperate.

Only to look in confusion once the kiss is over as Danny basically defeat the enemy in all his short human form, noodle-like arms glory

Reading up on Arknights stuff and realizing Alive Under Sunset is a metal band made up of essentially shards of the Ægirian god (as much as I understand feranmuts), they're one of if not Elysium's favourite band, and the lead singer met up with Thorns, an Ægir, during OF-ST-6, where Thorns has a vision of a Seaborn and the way he reacts... and then listening to Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean...

I might have a slight need to write an Elythorns fic where Thorns is desperately fighting the influence of the Seaborn.
