If you’ve finished the dragon’s tears quest/finished the game, go back and look at the last shot of link in the final trailer. Look what is fused to his weapon. It’s a fucking light dragon horn. All this time. ALL THIS TIME. And it’s right after Mineru says “you are not alone” …..brb crying because she was with him the whole time

Tears of the Dragon — 28 May 1994

"The last shot of the day was supposed to be this great big totem which weighed—it was about fifteen foot long—and weighed... a lot! It was a big sort of spike that features in the middle part of the video where I'm bashing it with a piece of wood. Which, incidentally, the props man built this piece of wood, this sort of a cudgel that I would beat it with, and it broke on the first hit! So they got me another sort of broom handle or something and then I broke that after a couple of whacks so they finally went and sawed a branch off a tree and I beat that into submission. Near put myself in hospital for about a week afterwards I was beating the crap out of it so much. Not too much anger there, then!
So the final scene was supposed to be that as I was beating this thing, the sea would be rising up and I would be up to my knees, ankles, waist, in sea and then that was it; you'd just see the top of this thing disappearing under the waves. Which was a nice image. However! We got as far as the last shot of the day, darkness was coming down, it was bloody cold, we'd been there all day, and we tried to get this totem and maneuver it into the waves. So there's about twelve of us all going "Right, right, right! Hold it, hold it, hold it... woah!" Bloody great wave came, knocked this thing over, sucked it out to sea! So this thing is now a hazard to shipping, disappearing off into the channel, whereupon it turns tail, pointy-end towards us! We're all standing in the surf going, "How're we gonna get it back?" when it decides to come back of its own accord. Great big wave comes behind it, thing's launching itself, we're all running out of the surf going, "Ahhhhh! It's coming to get us!" It was really comical, we all fell about the floor laughing. We all sat on the sand, freezing cold, and we went, "Okay, that's it, that's a wrap, isn't it? Can't do anything more after that!""
