I’ve got the habit of working and studying without taking breaks. Especially when I’m stressed. So in order to time myself, I like to listen to other people working and studying and one of my favorite study youtubers is Merve. She made me survive University and now helps me to stay semi-sane in teaching training. Do you like to listen to or watch other people studying to time and motivate yourself?

Recollection of teacher life 

July 2022 | I’ve accomplished my last school principal lesson observation, went to dinner with my politics colleagues and bought myself a MacBook after wanting one ever since I was a teen. I know it’s just tech but spending my own money apparently makes me happy lol. 

May 15 2022 | Preparing a lesson about American traditional values for year 12 (AP English) 

June 24 2022 | I used the pentecost holidays to prepare for my second politics lesson observation and it went very very well today! I was praised a lot and I was able to reflect on what could have been better and what I would do differently the next time I teach the topic Should German citizens have a say in a referendum on the reintroduction of compulsory military service? I have told you that I don't get along well with my English prof (we literally have zero positive vibes between us lmao) and that she never has anything nice to say about my lessons, so hearing my politics prof saying that I’m doing extremely well felt wonderful.

This timer was my attempt at forcing myself to work on my maser thesis exposé because I have been horrible sitting down to work on anything university related. Also, peep my new bonsai Momo and me trying to grow roots to plant that rubber tree 🥰
