Answering what’s in my inbox, not taking new questions:

First impression: he's the WORST I LOVE HIM.

Impression now: mostly the same honestly. Tary grew a lot with his time with Vox Machina, but also did not change very much, and I support him.

Favorite moment: any time he ugly cries for comedic effect.

Idea for a story: more Darrington Brigade! Literally anything about it.

Unpopular opinion: I don't know if I have any? I feel the issue with Tary is simply that he gets ignored, rather than any real opinions about him.

Favorite relationship: I love that he eventually became best friends with Vex after she initially hated him.

Favorite headcanon: Vandran secretly loves his books.

Further theory on Fresh Cut Grass.

We know Sam loves to play on his previous characters backstory when creating a new character. Scanlan hated goblins, Nott was a goblin. Nott was an alcoholic, F.C.G. cant drink at all! Then there is his characters obsession with guns. Scanlan stole a gun from percy, tary built Doty a gun (style) hand weapon, Nott stole a gun...but in all cases he never really for to use the guns. So will fresh cut grass want a gun too?...

What if he is the gun? What if he was originally built as a weapon and was either broken down and repurposed or decommissioned and reprogrammed. Is he a weapon of mass destruction rolling around giving advice? Knowing Sam...probably.

I’ve seen gifsets of Tary’s speech to his father, where he mentions what he’s learned from the members of Vox Machina (and subsequently coming out to his family via Percy?? which I never realised).

I never knew, though, that it was part of such an amazing, emotional, inspiring speech. Goddamn, Sam Riegel, just pulling this up on the spot. Amazing.

there are so many little things i’m excited for for c3 that i keep on thinking of:

-characters obviously, but more specifically dynamics and accents (in c2e1 when they all started laughing at each other over their character voices?? i need more of that i can’t wait gfhdjk)

-Seating. Arrangement. I cannot wait to see who is in hugging range of each other

-what will Sam drink out of next, and just how cursed will it be?

-relatedly, Sam’s ads, probably being two or three times more chaotic

-The next quirky shopkeep to fight gods with (also mildly unrelated but can we appreciate that if m9 had gone to rexxentrum earlier instead of zadash, Thaydeen would have been that instead of Pumat?? sometimes i think about that. wild.)

-new running gags like regular gnoll and making my way and its been a while and all the other ones

-not quite so little, but just what references to the previous campaigns we’ll see, whether it be whole characters/world changes, or just stuff like pumat reading the Daring Trials and Tribulations of Sir Tarryon Darrington
