Muzan-

He's HEARTBROKEN.

I mean, he gets it, his red eyes and his black hair and him being freakishly pale!

HE MUST BE A VAMPIRE!!! Is what you think.

He doesn't intend to look scary please don't be scared of him.

He's going to try so hard to get you to at least look him in the eyes. 😭😭

You could just like glance at a toy and bam, it's already in front of you.

He's so fucking desperate, I swear.

It's okay though, he's very patient with you + gentle.

And soon enough, you start to find vampires cool, because VAMPIRES.

AND OH MY GOD, HE'S CRYING BECAUSE FINALLY, YOU AREN'T AS SCARED OF HIM AS YOU WERE. HE CAN ASCEND TO HEAVEN NOW. Not like he will ever be in heaven tho.

Sanemi-

No no- please don't be scared of him. He only wants to scare demons, NOT YOU.

But you tell him, his scars all over his body, his wide eyes which look like they will pop out anytime and his maniac grin..it's all so scary. Not to add him having no eyebrows makes you believe he is not human.

And after he finds out, that yes, you are actually scared of him, he's going to be so hesitant to even be around you.

Poor boy doesn't want to make you feel more scared than you are.

He avoids you a lot because like if you even see him you basically naruto run the fuck away from that country.

He really wishes to spend time with you though.

With the hashiras pushing him to interact with you, he finally does.

And my God is it awkward.

He's just like, "Hey, um, do you-uh want ice cream..?"

At this point, he's the one who is scared of you /j.

Of course, he's very gentle with you. It's like that Gordon Ramsay Meme.

Sanemi with kid reader: Oh dear, Oh dear, gorgeous.

And that sums up what Sanemi will be like. No joke.

Tanjiro-

Everyone is so shocked to see you be scared of TANJIRO, the angel in real life, the best boy.

Tanjiro is sad to see you being scared of him, but no worries!

Whenever you look at him he always smiles at you, ( please this is only platonic ) he carries you when you are tired even though you still are scared of him.

Probably praises you when you do even the smallest of tasks, like, helping an ant by giving it some crumbs of sugar.

Of course, he's trying his best to make you warm up to him.

He didn't have fucking ( idk ) dead siblings for nothing.

In the end, you end up not being scared of him. What did we expect.

probably would get a little freaked out but try to hide it because “being scared isn’t cool”

if someone jumped scared him he would fear punch them and refuse to apologize, he’d just grab your arm while the poor worker is writhing on the ground in pain and whisper to you “just keep walking..”

would put his arm around you/would let you cling to him if you appeared really freaked out

By the end of it he would be SHAKING. And say some stupid shit like “that wasn’t even scary. How lame.”

DEATH THE KID:

He would complain over the lackluster appearance of the haunted house and how “there’s no point in being scared of this disgrace of symmetry haunted house”

Would get startled by the jump scares REALLY easily, he would be so distracted by criticizing the appearance he would forget that you both were in a haunted house

shrieks like a little girl and jumps onto your back, knocking the both of you over.

At the end he would make comments about how he was only startled by the jump scares because the terrifying unsymmetrical atmosphere already had put him on edge

MAKA:

would try to be brave in an attempt to not worry you but fails miserably.

freezes with fear every time a jump scare happens,, before then grabbing your arm or hand and rushing forward.

Absolutely REFUSES to look back.. If it’s a really scarey haunted house and you two just ate she will most likely fear vomit

if you laugh at her she will do her ever so famous ‘Makaaaa Chop!’ On you

at the end she will let out a huge sigh of relief and would probably threaten you to not tell anyone what happened in there. (She would never be able to live It down if soul found out!!”

BLACKSTAR:

He would be like “haha! This is such a dumb idea, you should know (Y/N), Nothing scares me!! I’m blackstar!!”

boasting about how he’s not afraid but at the first jumpscare he SCREAMS. Like SO LOUD.

Screams into extremely forced laughter, he claims he’s just trying to scare you by screaming since the jump scares are so bad.

actually thinks the blood and stuff is real.

TSUBAKI:

Genuinely the one whos the least scared

gets a little freaked out by the spooky atmosphere and jump scares but continues to reassure herself it’s not real.

Holds your hand or arm the entire time and is very open that she doesn’t much like haunted houses

at the end is completely fine and is unaffected mentally unlike the others. If you ask her if she was scared she’ll admit she was a little freaked out..

She’ll even talk to you about what freaked her out the most and appraise the employees on their hard work

alright so let’s set the scene

you’re already a demon slayer

so obviously you already know who muichiro is

i mean how could u not? he’s a hashira duh

but!

even though you know who he is… you’ve never spoken with him

UNTILLLLL

you go to the swordsmith village with tanjiro!

and happen to be taking a nap when muichiro comes to wake tanjiro up to ask some questions

when you wake up you see him sitting in front of the kamado siblings

you don’t say anything you just listen to their conversation

muichiro does glance at you when you first sit up but that’s it

no verbal acknowledgment from him at all

rip

but then a demon pulls up

and with one flap of his lil leaf fan

you all go flying

nezuko grabs onto tanjiro and is able to keep him in the building

but you and muichiro are zooming through the air

when you begin your descent towards the ground you attempt to grab onto a tree branch to stop your fall but you’re unsuccessful

you close ur eyes tightly bracing for impact

when you feel someone catch you…

and then throw u straight onto the ground lmfao

u open your eyes and look up to see muichiro staring at you blankly before he says

“for a demon slayer, you’re very uncoordinated. it’s a wonder you made it past the final selection.”

and then he’s off

running back to the village

not giving you even a second to say anything back

at first when standing up you scoff in half rage half disbelief at his statement

before u freeze and your face turns bright red

bc NO FRICKEN WAY

immediately ur pulling the hem of your shirt up enough to read the words imprinted on the side of your ribcage

“for a demon slayer, you’re very uncoordinated. it’s a wonder you made it past the final selection.”

girllll u got yo self a hashiraaaaaaaa as a soulmateeeee

after rereading the words on your ribcage for the hundredth time, you fix your shirt and take off in the direction that muichiro went

you don’t find the mist hashira

instead u find a demon!!

yay! isn’t that so fun!

a large slimey 4 legged fish demon with a vase sitting on top of its back

and in front of it is a swordsmith child struggling to fight it off

you of course stop running after muichiro and jump in front of the child

your first attack hits the vase, chipping the top off of it but not breaking it

the fish demon roars in pain

you ignore the pained cry of the demon and with a few flicks of your wrist the demon fish falls

cut into pieces

you turn to check on the masked child

only for the fish demon to regenerate

you turn to block the hit coming towards you but you’re too late

the fish hits you and you fly into a tree

the demon picks up the screaming terrified child and begins to squeeze

you stand, ready to fight for the child

when suddenly the arm of the demon is cut off and the kid goes flying into the air

you rush to catch him before he hits the ground

and when you look up after catching him

muichiro is standing in front of you both, sword at the ready

he tells you and the child to run

you stand up saying, “the vase. i hit it before. that’s it’s weak spot.” before pulling the kid behind you

muichiro nods at your words before destroying the vase and the demon

when the demon falls, the kid leaps from behind you, clinging to muichiro and yelling apologies for calling him a “seaweed head”

you giggle at the sight before turning to go back to the village

as you begin running through the forest toward the village

muichiro appears in front of you with the kid thrown over his shoulder

you stop in your tracks looking at him

he sets the kid down and opens the front of his uniform to reveal your words from earlier inked into the side of his ribcage

“the vase. i hit it before. that’s it’s weak spot.”

you smile at the words and then at muichiro who in turn gives you a small, almost unnoticeable smile back

and then you and muichiro speak the same words at the same time,

“be safe.”

and you go your separate ways for the rest of the battle

after the battle, the sun has risen and you find tanjiro, nezuko, and the others

but no sign of muichiro

looking around almost frantically, your heart beat erratic due to your panic

tears welling in your eyes at the thought of losing your soulmate after just finding him hours prior

when a hand gently sets itself on your shoulder

you spin around

and there he is

hair tousled from the fight

small wounds littering his body

uniform ripped open displaying the tattoo of your first words to him

but he’s alive

you launch yourself at him crying, “i’m so glad you’re safe”

and he smiles softly patting your head

“i’m glad you’re safe too.”

ㅡasking stupid questions. something along the lines of, why havent you eaten your kasugai garasu yet? it's pretty chunky, and youre obviously close and you can take advatange of that!! - and having to explain the beauty and the importance of your lovely crow when it comes to give you information... yes. making him be nice to ur crow and his own... telling him that theyre basically ur kids and you need to care for them as such. it makes him giddy and nervous at the thought as you refer to him and urself as their dads.....

My Muzan Hc’s!

If you were dating <3 Muzan x reader

First off I like to say he’s a VERY busy man, he doesn’t have time to show you any affection at all.

He won't be the first to confess first, you'll have to man/women up and break it down to him.

He would say he doesn't have the time for any romance stuff, which is true but he would make a TINY acceptation for you.

If you're a human he would offer for you to become a demon after a few days.

If you accept then, kiss the sun goodbye. You're not able to leave at all, you're only helping him with his "experiments"

If you didn't accept his offer, he is upset for a while but soon comes to live with it.

Do expect him to run some test on you though, like blood samples, ect.

There are rules when it comes to Muzan and his work.

Do NOT and I mean this, don't bother him when he's working, unless he asks for you to assist him.

Do not attempt to go to his Upper/Lower Moon meetings, in the end one of those Demons heard is in his hand with alot of blood everywhere.

He would ask if you can look for The Blue Spider Lily because you can walk out in the sun and, he can't.

If you end up finding the Spider Lily, expect some praising from Muzan himself. Yep, the man will give you praises, but only a little don't expect a-lot.

Now if you can't, have fun with a extremely pissed Demon King. (His mood would be like Anger from Inside out.) Man that's new something you would have to deal with.

For the final battle with the Demon Slayers, I feel as if he wouldn't care much for you. All he is focused on is killing Tanjiro and the others.

He will tell you "Don't get yourself caught, and do NOT be careless." Tho I feel thats him telling you to be safe.

If you end up getting caught, best believe he is going to save you, then scold you for being careless while fighting the slayers off.

Back to the main thingy; He's a bit touch starve, trust me. Just don't show him affection when he's out working, he prefer's it when you're both alone.

He's like a stressed out single father, who's had no breaks from their kids at all. Speaking of stress, when he's stressed out he would appreciate if talk with him about his day, just some small talk would help him.

Please give this main some praise ^^ he most definitely needs it to boost his ego higher than before.

contains: reader got burn (yoriichi), baby got sunburned (sanemi)

a/n: i made this at 1 am so if there are mistakes forgive me huhu. i also used a wheel to decide which character should i use lol

y. tsugikuni

• he was so tired of slaying demons that he didn't hear you say “can you watch over (c/n)?”

• as he went drift to sleep he felt you getting close to him

• he was expecting a “hello my love lets sleep together” but he got a “yoriichi where’s our child?!”

• he got up so quick that his back cracked

• he looked at you and asked why were you asking him and you said that he was supposed to watch over since you were cooking something and (c/n) was not behaving

• you were panicking because you didn’t know what to do

• you’re still cooking and if you went to look for (c/n) your lunch might get burnt so you left that job to yoriichi

• now you're panicking and cooking which is not a great combo for you! so you ended up burning yourself once

• good thing he found his child before you kill him with chopsticks

m. kanroji

• you two were sleeping together with your child in between the both of you

• when you shifted your body towards mitsuri you knew there was something missing

• so you woke up and saw mitsuri literally next to you

• you really thought you had squished your baby with your body causing you to scream

• and causing mitsuri to scream

• and causing the baby to cry

• you instantly go get to pick your baby which is near mitsuri’s closet leaving a confused mitsuri on your futon

• as you calmed down your child you looked at your partner and she was looking at you confused

• you explained to her that you thought that you squished you baby and that's why you screamed

• you two ended up cuddling

• that's when you both decided that the baby starts sleeping on its designated bed

• you were grocery shopping and sanemis home with your child

• he was watching (c/n) play with its toys so he just let them do its thing

• then he remembered that he needed to clean his katana because he's a clean freak sometimes

• so he kinda forgot that he had a child to look after

• when you went home you saw sanemi with wet hair so you assumed he took a bath with your child

• but then you didn't saw (c/n) anywhere so you asked your husband “wheres (c/n)?”

• his eyes widened and you knew he didn’t know

• he tried laughing it off and then sanemi ran outside where your child was

• when you catched up to him, you saw your child

• who just got sunburnt

• it was very obvious that it got sunburnt

• so when you tried to pick them up they cried

• you cut some aloe vera since you also have sensitive skin and rubbed it at your child

• when your child drifted to sleep, you began scolding your husband

k. tanjiro (aged up)

• it was a daddy daughter/son date for the two of them

• of course you were fine with it since your 4 year old child didn’t get to spend time with their father

• so when they got home they saw you sleeping

• they didn’t want to disturb you so they showered quietly and slept next to you

•when you woke up in the middle of the night you saw tanjiro but you didn’t see your child

• you had to say tanjiro 7 times for him to wake up he did not woke up to you saying tanjiro, he woke up because you covered his nose

• he was confused and said that she was besides you

• when you told him that they were not there he got up and looked for them

• it didn’t take long since tanjiro has a keen sense of smell but that didn’t stop him from overthinking that a demon got his child

• when he got back he told you that they were just sleepwalking and went back to sleep

Is it perhaps ok to ask for a single father reader? Like his child is still young, like 2-3, and reader is kinda like Tanjiro and Ubuyashiki from demon slayer? I would really like to see all the characters but I’d definitely like to see Tecchou, Jouno, Atsushi and Chuuya the most, I hope this isn’t too much or bad

Description: It was supposed to be another normal day. Until your phone start glowing.

It was 9 pm, when you finally get home.

Before entering your apartment, you take a few breaths and put a smile on your face. With a knock, you turn your keys and opened the door.

Immediately you heard a sound of small footsteps. A three-year-old toddler waggle towards you.

Mrs. Greenhill, sweet old lady, your neighbor, followed after them. You were Incredibly lucky, that she agreed to look after [K/N], while you were at work. You nodded at her.

"Good evening, Mrs. Greenhill"

Your crouched down and hug your kid.

"Hello, [K/N]."

[K/N] giggle. They hugged you.

"Daddy home!"

Mrs. Greenhill's voice was soft.

"[K/N] were a good kid today. They were well-behaved in a daycare, ate their veggies and draw you a picture, [Y/N]."

Your kid giggle again. They wiggle out of your hold and, after taking your hand, start walking towards living room.

"Gift for daddy! Look!"

You followed [K/N], but turn your head towards Mrs. Greenhill.

"Thank you so much, Mrs. Greenhill. Have I ever thanked you for..."

Old lady raised her head.

"Every day, few times a day. Don't be nervous, [Y/N], you aren't looking ungrateful. I am happy to help."

You smiled again.

It was hard to be a single parent. Your parents were against you keeping [K/N] and insisted on giving them up to adoption. When you refused, they cut all contacts with you. The rest of the family were either on their side, or ignored both you and them.

So, you and your kid were living in a small apartment, that you rented, and you were working from dusk till dawn to earn money on a dead end job (with minimal wage), so your kid can have a happy life. You, once again, mentally thanked Mrs. Greenhill for agreeing to babysit [K/N]. She was a true savior.

🐾 As usual, you insisted on Mrs. Greenhill staying for dinner. As usual, after she left, you played with [K/N]. As usual, you two watch some cartoons, you read [K/N] a bedtime story and put them to bed. As usual, you prepared for tomorrow's day. As usual, you spent thirty minutes before bed to read some manga and play some games on your app. As usual, your phone glow white. As usual, BSD Characters appeared in your flat...

🐾 BSD Cast were expecting disbelief or shouting. Not heavy tired gaze, and "Congrats, [Y/N], you went crazy, what a pity...". And they didn't expect you to turned out the light and went straight to bed.

🐾 Next morning, you wake up because of delicious smell. Your yesterday's hallucinations were still here and they were cooking breakfast. What nice hallucinations. Or you are being robbed by a nice burglars.

And then you heard it. [K/N]'s voice. They were giggling. And giggles came from the kitchen.

You saw white. Without second thought, you ran into the kitchen. You grabbed first person who got into your way and growl.

"Let go of my kid!"

🐾BSD cast looked towards you nervously. Kunikida's glasses almost fall down from his nose, while he was trying to get away from your grip. Oda, despite looking at you, somehow managed to feed [K/N] a few more spoons of porridge. Your kid was giggling.

🐾 It took thirty minutes to calm you down. After that, BSD Cast finally explained, what was happening. And what they were planning to do next.

About how grateful they were. About wanting to live together, promising to make sure, that you and [K/N] will always have helpers and enough money.

And, if you don't want to stay with them, they promised monthly payments, so you could support you and your kid for the rest of [K/N]'s life.

Halfway through story, you noticed, that you were incredibly late for work. Well, you guess, you should start searching for a new job.

And then you heard Fitzgerald plans on paying you for your kindness.

...

The situation was too bizarre. You need fresh air. And a walk with [K/N] through the park.

You hopped, that you will think about, what to do next.

🐾 The next few days were busy. You packed up all your things, officially quitted your job, says goodbye to Mrs. Greenhill and moved to a new house with your new friends (a.k.a. new uncles, aunts, grandparents and siblings for [K/N].

And BSD Cast start learning about new side of you. About Dad [Y/N]. And about being a big family.

🌨️ Junchirou makes dessert for Naomi and [K/N]. He uses his ability to make [K/N]'s games more interesting.

👩🏻 Naomi took the role of big sister very serious. Makes sure, that kid are doing great.

🍵 Kirako took [K/N] to play with cats.

🛏️ Katai is finding computer games and kid cartoons for [K/N]. Monitor kids nap time.

🐄 Kenji is teaching [K/N] about farm animals and gardening. Immediately got a cow, so everyone could have fresh milk every day.

🐰 Kyouka is another big sister. She is a little bit more awkward, than Naomi, but she is doing her best.

Firefly Part 2-Hotaru Haganezuka x Reader

Summary: The hunt for Haganezuka continues though training Tanjiro is your first priority, that's until Haganezuka makes a sudden appearance. Without a sword, fighting will be complicated especially when the village is attacked leaving you no other choice but to protect those dear to you.

(Ahhh we got Haganezuka's face reveal in today's new episode😍 he looks so handsome! I've been waiting for the reveal since the first season ended. Please enjoy this new chapter and a third part will be written soon once the 3rd season ends.)

"Not only Tanjiro has to train either! You don't want to be known as the lazy Hashira, do you?!" I felt a pang in my chest, that little boy Kotetsu had no shame in saying whatever was on his mind.

I'm older than Tanjiro but not that much. Since Kotetsu saw me telling Tanjiro to train his hardest, guess Kotetsu wanted me to do the same.

Defeatedly, I was laying on the ground after a life few hours of training. I had gotten rid of my haori since it was getting in the way of training. Tanjiro was a lot more tired than I was, the poor boy was having trouble having a few sips of water.

"Both of you deserve this." Kotetsu presented us with our favorite desserts.

"Thank you Kotetsu!" Tanjiro cried now having huge bites out of his food.

I smiled looking at him and took a bite of my own dessert and savored every bite until the three of us heard rustling coming from a few bushes behinds us, we felt the ground shaking and we quickly stood up.

"Is that another demon?! No it can't be, it's still daylight."

Kotetsu hid behind Tanjiro and I. Both of us preparing to fight at whoever or whatever was coming towards us.

"Huh?" We tilted our heads and saw that a person came out of the forest. It was none other than Haganezuka.

"Wahh!!" Tanjiro and Kotetsu screamed.

"H-Hotaru?!"

"Mr. Haganezuka!"

Tanjiro and I stared surprised to see him make an appearance since it was clear that he was avoiding us. "So, you finally showed up, huh?! About time you showed your face!"

I pointed my finger at him and slowly lowered it feeling an intimidating aura coming from out of him. Though despite that, a deep blush spread across my face when I saw him up close.

Haganezuka seemed very different than when I last saw him. He seemed a lot stronger and muscular than before, though I don't know how he looked back then behind his clothes..wait what am I saying?!

Stop saying those things, he looks different sure but still wears that hideous mask.

"Where's my sword?!" Was the first thing I blurt out.

I felt Kotetsu tugging onto my sleeves. "(Y/N) don't get him angry!" The boy cried continuing to try and get me to step back.

Like little kids Tanjiro and Kotetsu now stood behind me with Haganezuka slowly walking towards us.

"I have heard your story. I'll take it from here.."

"Take what from here?!" Kotetsu also asked.

What?! Tanjiro and I exchanged looks. Haganezuka's hand reach between us and we saw him gripping onto the sword Tanjiro found when he fought against Yoriichi Type Zero.

I gripped onto the handle and Tanjiro did the same when Haganezuka tried taking it from him.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Tanjiro asked when Haganezuka began forcing his way to grab the sword.

"I'll take it from here."

"Take what?!"

The four of us beginning to fight against him when Hotaru continued to repeat the same thing. Haganezuka isn't using his full force, if he did he would've already taken the sword from us if he wanted to.

"You are not taking it from us. What do you mean by 'I'll take it from here' anyways?! Why have you been avoiding me!" I huff beginning to pull the sword successfully.

"I went to train and get stronger just so I could forge you a better sword!" He shouted back. "Just shut up and leave it to me!"

"He's gone insane." Tanjiro mutters.

"You can't just come out of the blue and say that. It makes no sense."

"No, it belongs to Kotetsu."

"Leave it to me means leave it to me!"

"And I asked you what you meant by that!" Tanjiro said with the three of us trying out best to fight against Haganezuka who was dragging us towards him.

"Ahhh!" The three of us screamed when Haganezuka handled the sword and threw us back.

I hissed rubbing my butt when I fell next to Tanjiro. "Ow! What kind of a grown up does that?!" I huff and quickly stood up ready to fight him despite still feeling pain.

"Why did you even go into hiding? Are you scared of me?!" I shout looking up at him.

"As if I'd be scared of a short Hashira as yourself!",

"Listen boys.." we stayed silent when we heard another male voice with us. From behind Haganezuka his partner showed up. I recognized him since he usually accompanies him on his travels.

Mr. Kanamori.

"Mr. Haganezuka's weak spots are his sides." Kanamori said beginning to tickle Haganezuka's sides.

"Ehh?" I watched as a grown man began to laugh until he fell onto the ground over that simple action.

Kanamori stopped tickling him and stood before us. "Hey, long time no see Tanjiro, (Y/N). Mr. Haganezuka always goes limp for a while after being tickled. Please forgive him. You see, he's been hiding out in the mountains, training."

While Kanamori spoke, Kotetsu who was by my side continued to throw pebbles onto Haganezuka.

"He trained harder to forge you both a new strong sword, so that you won't get killed."

My mouth immediately closed when Kotetsu said that all of the sudden said that. He went to get stronger..just so he could make me a better sword?

My eyes widened and I felt Kotetsu moving me back and forth when be saw a blush on my face. "Still that doesn't answer the question on why he's been avoiding you." I heard him mutter.

"Not that he'd ever admit that." Kotetsu added. "Oh, look he's, revived."

Haganezuka all of the sudden jumped up on hai feet. "I shall take this rusty sword into my care, and using the nichirin sword polishing art of the Haganezuka family. I will restore it."

"Then why didn't you say so from the start? Instead of 'Leave it to me' when you have zero trust built up."

I stared down at Kotetsu, this small boy surely had a strong attitude. The bot was suddenly lifted off the ground by Haganezuka threatening him again, Tanjiro and Kanamori ran to Haganezuka's side and tickled him once more.

I remained silent continuing to follow Haganezuka, watching his back while we continue to walk in silence.

"I don't need a Hashira to escort me back to the village." He said glancing back at me, with me seeing the side of his mask, only a few curly black strands poking out from the cloth he had.

Kanamori told me to follow Haganezuka to his place, especially since he had given Tanjiro a sword and didn't bring another one.

"I know. You can manage that yourself, but I want to make sure you don't go into hiding again. Besides I need a sword too." I say and he didn't respond.

Strange how he's suddenly silent and not bursting like he did back then. I pick up the pace and now am walking beside him. I continue to look forward but felt him glance back down at me.

"I spoke with Tecchin earlier.."

"What does the old man want now?" He growled.

"Nothing serious. He was just worried about you, all he said is that you went into hiding..now I know it wasn't."

I blush and stared down at my feet remembering the words he said. 'I went to train and get stronger just so I could forge you a better sword..'

Turning back to look at him I smile, "You didn't have to do that you know. Get stronger. All this time I thought you just didn't want to continue being my swordsmith. I'm happy to know that I was wrong, Haganezuka."

I smile and blush staring up at him and he looked down and quickly away. I could see a blush spread across his mask somehow. All he did was groan a bit.

"Just call me Hotaru if you'd like."

My smile grew bigger and I giggled. "You know I stayed up late last night and noticed many fireflies. They reminded me of you since your name means Firefly correct?"

Hotaru remained silent not wanting to talk further. I smile to myself feeling happy that I'm at least gaining his trust.

"I think it's a cute name."

"It's not a cute name!!" He shouted all of the sudden.

He's definitely so cute! I continue to blush and noticed how tiny I look compared to him. I don't know what he looks like under the mask, but I think I'm in love with him.

Maybe..maybe it's the reason why I decided to come to this village and start looking for him. The only thing that came across my mind before arriving to the village was looking at Haganezuka again..

"I'm sure you've been working your very best, Hotaru. I know you don't hear this often, but I'm really thankful for your dedication and I'm extremely thankful to continue being your client."

I heard a slight noise and tilted my head to see small bubble like things floating around Haganezuka's face. Is he flustered? I've seen Tanjiro's friend with the boar head do the same.

"It's only natural for a swordsmith to go through the same difficulty as a Hashira." Hotaru simply said and huffed again.

The two of us arrived back at the village and I followed him to his home, I entered when he did and saw many types of swords displayed, so this is his working spot…

Haganezuka turned his back to me and placed the sword Tanjiro found next on a table.

This is his home then. Does he live alone? Does he even have a wife, if he does I shouldn't be here. Why do I even sound disappointed at that?

"I'd say make yourself comfortable but you better get back with the kid. I'll be extremely busy with both swords which means I won't have time for your annoyance. I'll need that."

He pointed at my swords handle. I took what was left of my sword out and handed it to him. "Take any of those swords displayed on the wall. They are unfinished but it's better to have a sword than nothing."

I huff my cheeks but decided to not say anything about it, that'll surely make him kick me out. "I'll be with Tanjiro if you were to need me." I said and began heading my way back into the forest.

I continued to run throughout the woods searching the any of the demons that came out of the Upper Moon Hantengu. I continued to run ignoring the pain on my chest and ears, I reached up and felt blood coming from my ears and felt more flowing down my face from when the demon slashed above my eyes.

I gripped my sword and noticed how chipped it was, it'll be no good. I won't be able to decapitate a demon with a sword like this.

I stopped running and could feel, no, smell something. Something rotten and hideous. It can't be another demon! Another Upper Moon is here?! And the smell is coming from opposite of me.

Where is Muichiro? Is he handling the other demon?! Somehow both demons smell powerful. Tanjiro is fighting alongside Nezuko and Genya who is Sanemi's brother, in my opinion I'd rather face a demon that deal with his older brother, but still! I have to make a choice wether continue moving forward or help Muichiro our and protect Kotetsu and Kanamori.

Almost the entire village has been destroyed and unfortunately many swordsmith were killed by the demons. On my way to help Genya, I had been thrown off further than Tanjiro and tried locating where I can find more villagers to save them. It's been a few hours and surely Haganezuka must have at least finished part of my sword.

I won't be able to decapitate one with the one he gave me. I do hope Haganezuka finished it. Though finding him will be rough since demons keep appearing before me, one of Hantengu's other halves or some big ass fish keeping me from going any further.

Many villagers and nice people I met here have died trying to defend their home, so I won't let the demons harm Hotaru any time soon.

Hotaru was in his home forging the swords, but I'm sure he must've left as soon as the demons in invaded the village. Now it'll be a bit harder to locate him.

I stopped running further where I was supposed to and turned back around, I'm still far away from where Muichiro and the rest are! But I can smell blood, many dead villagers ripped apart and fish like demons all around.

I'm sorry Tanjiro hang on a bit longer!

"Ha!" I jumped up onto a couple of tree branches and could see more fishes up ahead. I held onto my sword tight and swung it down into the demons when I jumped back down onto the ground. Their cries were heard once I pierced their skin and killed them.

More demons continued to appear but I chose to ignore them and continue moving forward, if I stop I'll only be letting more people get hurt.

I noticed a small shack up ahead, I came from the other side of continued to run forward until I jumped up and kicked the window open making the glass shatter into pieces. I swung my sword at the demon and heard a small cry come from him, until I heard it laugh when I ran and stood in front of the swordsmith, protecting them.

"(Y/N)!" Kanamori exclaimed when he saw me.

"Are you both alright?" I shout looking back.

Kanamori and Hotaru are here! I finally found them! I glanced back and my eyes widened when I saw Kanamori bleeding alongside Hotaru, he seemed to have taken the worse but was still finishing up with my sword.

Such dedication! But how dare the demons harm them both! All I could see was Hotaru's back, with blood pouring out from the wounds and his broken mask next to him.

I decided to not look at him for his privacy, since I know the villagers hide their faces for protection.

The Upper Moon charged with it's tentacle like arms and continued to slash forward, I hissed but held my ground and took the cuts instead of Hotaru and Kanamori.

The demon continued to laugh when he saw me glaring at him, when he saw I didn't move from tm spot. "How cute! A girl protecting two strong human men. I hope your insides look as good as the outside, Oh! You'll look lovely on a vase."

"And how dare you kill innocent villagers for your amusement! I'll be the one to kill you instead, so stop talking and fight me, demon!"

I grabbed the sword and rose it up ready to attack but I froze and stared at it surprised when the sword was suddenly cut in half. What?? Only the handle of it was left on my hands.

I could feel the demon grinning at his actions. I clenched my fists and continue to stare my ground, I feel my legs shaking but didn't dare to move. If I were to die then so be it! It's the reason why I became a Hashira.

"Whatever happens don't you dare die, Hashira!" I looked back and could only see the side Hotaru's face when he said that to me.

I nodded my head and continued to stand in front of both men. I raised my fists ready to give it my all and end this demon. I can sense Hotaru is nearly finished with my sword, so I'll hold up and fight with all I've got!

"Taru! I'm bac-" You were abruptly cut off by a hug that slammed you into the door. "oh god I've missed you so much..." your husband spoke softly. As you moved to hug him back he squeezed a bit tighter. A light hiss was let out and he reacted immediately by letting go to look at you. "Are you hurt?? Let me wrap your wounds, come on!" He didn't give you a chance to speak before you were being dragged towards your shared bathroom. With a small chuckle you told him you fine. "I'm a demon slayer, of course I got hurt!" he continued dragging you through the hall as you peeked into his welding room. There was a half made sword on the welding table and it made your heart melt a bit. Hotaru was never one to break concentration from a sword, no matter what.

Once the two of you reached your room, he sat you down and told you to take off your shirt. He ran too the bathroom and came back with a bucket of warm water, a washcloth, ointment and bandages. He slowly took off your old bandages and began cleaning your fresher wounds first. "So.." you start off. He hummed a response while focusing on your wounds. "I saw the sword that you were making, whose it for?" You asked. He sighed and you feel the annoyance radiating from him. "That Tanjiro kid, he broke another one my swords!! can you believe it?!" He exclaimed as he dipped the washcloth in the water. "I can actually, that kid is amazing.. he'll be a higher rank than me in no time at the pace he's going." You said with a smile, you loved how passionate he is about his swords. "Yea but how do you break two swords already!? It's like he's doing it on purpose or something!" He exclaims again with huff. He begins wrapped your open wounds and applying ointment to your bruises. "I highly doubt that." You say last before the two of you lie down and just it in silence. It was a nice silence, a good and warm silence that made you feel at peace. "I brought you more wind chimes for your hat.." you whisper. "I'll attach them later, i wanna spend as much time as possible with you right now.." he half whispers back. You giggle and take his face into your hands. He raises one of eyebrows and you just smile. It's a big toothy smile that just makes him feel warm. "I love you so much Taro.." you whisper to him. He smiles back and pulls you closer. "I love you too much y/n, you drive me insane sometimes.." he half whispers with a chuckle. "The feeling is very mutual.."

The two of you laid in the bed talking about what happened while the two of you were apart until you both drifted off to sleep.

so y/n is sort’ve shy n stutters LOTS! but one thing that really gets on her nerves is rude people. when she was in swordsmith village along with mitsuri the first thing she came across was muichiro and kotetsu arguing over a key. when she saw muichiro smack him man she started to absolutely not like him. but she always found herself getting nervous around him and never knew why until mitsuri told her. but the thing is she avoided him but.. not for the right reasons and then she FINALLY decided to actually try being his friend but you know how he is

Mitsuri explains to her little sister (the reader) that she has a crush on Muichiro.

Part 1

"I think it's this way!" Mitsuri called as she tried to lead you both to the hot springs. You both stopped mid-tracks when you heard the crying of a young kid. Across the way you both saw Kotetsu appear to be arguing with Muichiro over something.

"W-what do you th-think they are arguing about?" You asked.

"Hmm... It's hard to tell." Mitsuri responded and just then Muichiro hit Kotetsu and grabbed him.

"Should we do something?!?" You asked, turning to your older sister. Mitsuri looked frozen. She wasn't sure what to do either. Muichiro was another Hashira so whatever he was needing from Kotetsu must be important, but Mitsuri didn't agree with his harshness. As Mitsturi thought over what action you two should take Tanjiro came out from the other side and appeared to intervene.

You looked from the scene and back to your sister.

"Maybe it's best if we continue on our way. We don't want to interrupt their business." Mitsuri finally decided.

"W-what about K-kotetsu?? Do you think he's ok!" You protested.

"Let's find him later and check in on him. How does that sound?"

"Ok..." You weren't fully satisfied with that answer but didn't want to argue with your sister. You followed Mitsuri to the hot springs but had a strong urge to turn around.

"I don't understand why he is so mean." You said to Mitsuri as you climbed into the hot springs.

"Who?"

"T-tokito, it's one thing to have a sharp tongue but hit Kotetsu?? I c-can't stand him."

"Oh he's not that bad. I'm sure there was a reason, we don't really know what was going on." Mitsuri said, sinking into the warm water. "Maybe you could ask him about it later." She suggested.

"A-ask him about it? N-no thanks I'll keep my d-distance." You responded. Mitsuri shrugged and closed her eyes.

"We only have a few more moments here then I have to go check on my sword. I'll catch up with you later for dinner ok?"

"Yeah ok..."

"Meanwhile, maybe you can look for Kotetsu and make sure he's ok." Mitsuri said standing up and beginning to dry off.

"Yeah alright." You agreed getting up as well. You followed Mitsuri back into the village until you two had to split up.

"I'll see you in a bit ok!" She said waving before she turned to run off.

You went on the hunt for Kotetsu looking around the village for him. It was hard to distinguish him since everyone had on similar masks, but you were determined to make sure he was ok. You thought you saw a glimpse of him walking into one of the buildings and kept your eye on him as you hurried a long to catch up when you crashed into something which caused you to fall to the floor.

"You should be more attentive to your surroundings." You heard and looked up to see Muichiro.

You felt paralyzed with his piercing eyes looking at you on the floor. You quickly jumped up and started to brush yourself off.

"W-what i-is the m-m-matter with you!" You said before you were able to think the words through.

"What's the matter with me? I'm not the one being careless and running into people." Muichiro stated.

"N-no not that! I saw you hit K-kotetsu! Do you think that's fair? A H-h-hashira picking on a k-kid!!" You yelled. Muichiro's eyes seemed to look past you and his expression appeared uninterested.

"This doesn't concern me." He said, turning to walk away.

"Are you always this m-m-miserable!" You yelled, but the Hashira continued to walk away.

"WHAT SHE SAID!" You heard yelled beside you. You looked to see Kotetsu next to you.

"Hey I was l-looking for you!" You said excited to finally find him.

"Oh did you need something?"

"I just saw w-what happened earlier with Tokito and wanted to m-make sure you were o-ok."

"Oh... yeah seaweed head sucks, but Tanjiro is training with me to get stronger and teach him a lesson!" Kotetsu said, pumping his fist in the air. You giggled at his eagerness even though you highly doubted Tanjiro was going to lay a hand on a Hashira.

"Well I'm g-glad you're doing o-ok. I'm going to go meet up with my sister now. See you!" You said heading off in the direction of the place you and Mitsuri were staying the night.

"UGH! I can't stand him!" You said sitting down to eat next to your sister.

"Oh... you're still talking about him?" She said amused and began to eat.

"I ran into him while you were g-gone... literally..."

"Oh what did he say?"

"N-nothing nice of course! I just don't get it. I'm used to dealing with rude and egotistical people in the demon slayer corps. After all Iguro likes to hang around you a lot for some reason, but Tokito is another story." You ranted and Mitsuri blushed at the mention of Obanai's name. "I d-don't get it... w-why can't I get him out of my mind, and when I'm around him all the things I really want to say get jumbled and I even s-stutter more. It's so f-f-frustrating." You finished and Mitsuri gave a loud gasp.

"HOW COULD I NOT HAVE NOTICED BEFORE!" She yelled.

"Hu?" You were completely confused.

"MY LITTLE SISTER HAS HER FIRST CRUSH! I'M SO HAPPY!" Mitsuri screamed and pulled you into a hug.

A crush? Is that really it? You were sure you hated Muichiro. His indifference to everything. The way he carried himself as though he was better than everyone else. His eyes that seemed to pierce through your soul, his long hair that was way prettier than yours, his voice that seemed to flow effortlessly from him, and the elegance of his breathing style-... oh... oh crap... maybe Mitsuri was right.

You bent down trying to pick up your phone, unaware of your short riding up a little too much. Two pairs of eyes were caught on your thighs. There was a handprint mark on it. Their faces were red, but they quickly looked around as they noticed that your boyfriend was looking at them. He smirks.
