Inspired by a real bungalow that I saw in Maui, this little beachside home is perfect for your sims’ vacation to Sulani (or maybe to live the dream and move there too!)
Split between two levels, the Emerald Bungalow is open to the sea to catch the ocean winds and admire the crystal clear waters. Downstairs is a large open plan living, perfect for reading a book or entertaining the family. Above is a small quiet office space and a large bedroom, plus a deck for soaking up the sun or listening to the waves crash ashore.

NOTES:
Created this because I thought that Sulani should have its own museum to showcase its culture and traditions.
Based on this bit from the Ngata family’s description, “Coming to Sulani for inspiration Leila didn't expect to fall in love so deeply with the islands.”, I like to think that Leila Illes first came to Sulani as part of this museum’s art residency program or something.
[ID: A drawing of Kairi from Kingdom Hearts on a flowery swing with golden yellow and pink flowers. Kairi has a golden yellow flower with a few pink petals in her hair. She is wearing a pastel purple ruffly shirt that doesn't cover her shoulders and has a gold bangle to cuff the sleeve near the wrist. She is wearing a pink and purple beaded necklace and a gold belt with pink and purple beads. Kairi is also wearing a lavender skirt and purple and yellow heels.
She is elevated by the swing over a green field and the sky is blue but very, very cloudy. Kairi is smiling looking forwards.]
i cant keep explaining slash shipping to normal people and then just receiving a "that doesn't make any sense" WHERE'S YOUR FUN??? YOUR WHIMSY??!?!? YOUR IMAGINATION???!???
louis: have you heard of the phenomenon of the rat king? it happens when there are too many rats in one small space. and they become entangled. they loop over each other, this way and that, as they forage for food or a fuck or perhaps out of a growing disquiet that there might in fact be no way out. soon enough, for them, there won’t be. they’ll tie themselves together like a bouquet. like kudzu choking trees and creeping up on you just outside of town. that’s what each of my thoughts felt like. back then in new orleans. us two, lestat and I, we were two rats in that house of his. our courting dance just looped our tails tighter and tighter. and it felt like each rat I consumed was one more added to our dead kingdom. one fewer way out for me, in the end. that’s what it was like.
I decided to make a cemetery in Sulani so I bulldozed the residence on the Tangled Flat lot and made myself a Tangled Lot Cemetery. Most of the original "townie" sims from the beginning of the game have since passed and their tombstones have been placed here.
Included here are:
Alika Killer and Mele Killer (Journey's End, Lani St. Taz)
Oliana Tsunami and Leila Sand (Reef Finery, Lani St. Taz)
Two other long time Sulani residents, Kayla Freak (Sapphire Shores, Lani St. Taz) and Brytani Cho (Lagoon Look, Ohan'ali Town, and later Caldera Camp, Mua Pel'am) are both global superstars from Del Sol Valley and so their tombstones have been placed there.
