Worst of all, people can choose to go and watch their execution.

Even worse, the people that came to care about them, got front rows and went to say their goodbyes

You were caught.

You became too careless because you trusted everything would have gone to plan, and it was all due to emotions you felt that ruined this.

There's nothing else to do, other than come to terms with what is going to happen to you.

You knew your inevitable fate would have come, all because you choose to stay with them.

Standing infront of the crowd, everyone was cheering for your death.

IT'S YOUR FAULT THAT MY SON ENDED HIMSELF BECAUSE OF YOU.

KILL THAT MONSTER.

WHY DID YOU EVEN EXIST.

KILL THEM IN THE MOST BRUTAL WAY.

You ruined their hopes, dreams and their lives.

Maybe you won't feel bad that this is your end-

They're right infront of you no less.

Riddle Roseheart, your first victim and first friend before Ace and Deuce...Your first problem you choose to runaway.

You remember when Riddle was a lonely person during the festival, the same place where you left him to oblivion.

He's right there. Infront of you. He's in tears, you don't know what to say other than not looking at him. You're guilty, of both this trial and to his heart.

He...doesn't seem to take this very seriously and insisted that there's another culprit, he's desperate, he's refusing that any of this is real...

Tell him that it isn't real okay? It's all just a dream right? He can't afford to lose the only warmth he has.

"Remember the person you called an idiot and absolutely despise? They're right infront of your eyes now, hah."

"This is very serious, you can't be laughing! You can't just...go like this."

You didn't know what to say other than being the old cocky self that you were when you first met him, hoping he would have been angry and hoped for your death, but it seems to make him even more upset than he already is.

After Riddle bid his good bye, you meet the next one, the person you'd least expect to come to your execution.

"I never knew you could have been like this, Herbivore."

Leona Kingscholar, you'd honestly slap yourself to death so you could wake up from this wretched dream, he was first a random stranger you met before becoming an official victim of yours during Spelldrive.

The Leona you knew was a cocky and grumpy lion, and he's too prideful to even admit to things nor even say a thanks. It was the same reason he lost his chance to say his farewell the day before you dumped his ass.

And...his attitude never changed even if he's facing you on your death sentence, though you swore you heard a slight sadness in his voice, maybe everything is an illusion

He doesn't know if he should congratulate your death because you were at fault of his winning, but if you agree to come with him, he'll promise to keep you safe from the crowd

So just agree with him to survive, okay? You won't have to worry anymore...

"I never thought the second prince himself would vi-"

"You should keep your mouth shut herbivore, specially with the situation your in."

"Hm~"

Leona just scoffs, tho visibly irritated, he didn't immediately punt you like how he would whenever you call him as the second prince from the start, not because you where tied up and about to die, it's because he knew you long enough that you're trying to make him mad.

The next person was probably someone you choose to avoid all cost

"I never expect our next and last encounter would be like this..."

Azul Ashengrotto, he was the first person you had a decent friendship because he didn't reveal himself to the public alot, so you didn't knew his identity either.

Maybe if you knew him before hand, you wouldn't have chose to stay with him longer before you found out his identity, and eventually running away from him.

He's the same as ever, that mask doesn't fade away so easily for a shady business takoyaki, still smiling at you, even though that smile isn't as perfect as you once saw it to be.

At first, he was determined to caught the famous criminal and see their fate, but now that he knows it's you, he might make another choice.

If you want to make a deal with him, he can silence everyone who came on this day, he promised it won't look foolish.

"Ah, the octopus is back with his schemes, I'm sorry but I'll have to decline "

"I didn't think you would decline such a tempting deal, you should rethink your choice again."

"Sorry shady man, my choice is final"

Azul seemed like he had something else he wanted to say before backing away for the next person to bid their goodbye-

"YUU YOU'RE NOT GOING, RIGHT?"

Kalim Al-Asim, the brightest sunshine boy you've ever met, it's kinda surprising that someone like him existed here.

You never stayed near him for that long, his bright personality got on your nerves along with him being quite smart too when he needs to be...along with that snake.

Kalim believes it's possible to buy you out of this situation no matter how costy it is, you doubt it's possible with all the sins you've done, but Kalim is Kalim.

He had everything in his way as being the son of a successful merchant, so he thought that he can save you from this situation.

Just...let him hope while it last, he'll have to understand that not everything is going his way.

"No! Yuu is innocent and they always were! I can help with the situation! Right Yuu?"

"..."

You didn't want to answer him, be it to crush his hopes or to lead him to the correct path. After some prying, Kalim finally backed down, the next person is...um.

"Potato, I expected a lot better from you."

Vil Schoenheit, the man you disliked since he criticizes way too much about your manners.

But the only thing you can commend him on is his efforts, he clawed his way to fame, unlike you, who chose to be like this. Maybe it was the differences between you and him, you left him because you knew you'll never be like Vil.

Vil looks at you with a scowl face. All you could do is to smirk at him, you always do this whenever you won the argument between your lifestyle and joining his routine. But he'd honestly lecture the life out of you if this wasn't the public, he has an image to keep yah know?

He is THE Vil Schoenheit, right? Take his hand and he'll make sure no one questions why you're alive, they know what happens if they dare to go against him.

The entire world never saw how hard he worked to claw up here, he can't afford to lose you forever.

"Now the turnip actually came, I thought you had a reputation to keep."

"I'm considering whether or not I should put you into eternal sleep because of this."

Classic Vil, you like to call him as a turnip not only because he looks like it, but it's funny seeing his reaction. Vil moved backward for a blue fiery hair person to come up next to say their goodbye.

"It's my fault isn't it..."

Idia Shroud, the otaku nerd you always go to whenever you need the information that's locked behind an invisible wall

He has access to all the feather wide web, even the forbidden information that not even a regular hacker can get a hold off. Yet you started to come to him less and less, till eventually you discarded him over the side like the rest.

He mumbles "It's my fault for not helping..", he's like his ever since his little brother's death, and now he can't even save you from your end.

What could he do after you're gone? Make a cyborg you, that would fix his problem! To cope with loosing things close to him.

If he could and was able to, he'll promise to find a way to upload your consciousness to the cyborg, it won't be you but it's better than nothing...

"..."

Idia only pulled his hood down to hide his face, you could barely make out what he even said anymore but probably along the lines that it was his fault, you always tell him it's not because life is unfair.

And finally, the last guest to your goodbye

"Child of man...You never cease to surprise me even more."

Malleus Draconia, or Horton. One of the few people you barely grasp any info, and the person who chose to hid his identity like you did with him.

Meeting Malleus was a pure coincidence, you found him when you're taking a midnight stroll. Was it because of your paranoia that you decided to left him, or the lack of information you possessed that made you lose your interest? You don't know.

Maybe because of Malleus childish acts that he sometimes does, you find him quite adorable just like a kid who first experienced the outside world. But never would you have seen him upset, or possibly mad right now, he never was like that.

Malleus Draconia, the strongest mage and the next heir of Briar Valley, he has the power to wipe all the witnesses away and take you somewhere far from this place.

He'll do everything just to stop your death, or if possible, bring you back to life. Give him the signal and he won't regret anything just for you.

"Sorry Horton, I'm just a human like you said, humans have a shorter life span than faes do. Nothing can last."

"I'm far more aware than needed, that's why I...wanted to make every moment count."

From what you know, you're the only person who was close to him other than his overseer and his 2 loyal followers. It's understandable that he would want to snatch you away and lock you up somewhere safe. You didn't want that.

Your last moment really was... something. You never thought you'd meet the familiar faces and die alone like you always were.

Why do you feel desperate to make it up to them?

Maybe in the next life, when all of you meet again.

I was wondering if you had any headcanons or general info for Heartslabyul in your feathers au. Riddle Roseheart

Your first victim during your rookie days, you really thought you were going to hell.

He's strict with everything, from rules to security, it was surprising that you managed to bypass the "perfect" protection against outsiders ( god it was painful to hold your breath often ), and here you were, tinkering with their equipments.

You didn't have a good impression with Riddle in the first place, he called you an idiot and insulted Grim, which really determined the reason you accepted the mission from Crowley. You despise him

The mission was a failed successfully... Riddle caught on that somethings were wrong about the equipment, but he caught on too late so the outcome didn't change, however, you know he'll be on your tail.

You tried avoiding him as much as possible since you'll likely be the no.1 suspect on his list, whether you like it or not.

That was until one day, you saw him very lonely by himself during lunch, it reminded of how society always was when you chose to stay here, a huge distance.

You swallowed up your pride to go over to him and sat at the opposite chair, Riddle immediately looked up and asked why you did that. You told him it just reminded how you felt when you're younger, nobody was there for you so you sympathize with him.

Riddle was in a red mess. After denying that he was lonely and calming down after 3 hours, both of you decided to take a stroll around while you hope that you can distract Riddle long enough so you can ditch him to go back with Grim, but no matter how hard you try to shake him off, he is one clingy strawberry.

What felt like forever, the sun finally sets, both of you bid your goodbyes, Riddle hoped he could see you again.

That "see you again" never happened, he waited for you to show up, yet you never did. He tried looking for any clues of your disappearances but there was nothing! As if you were a part of his imagination...that can't be true right?

Didn't you say you were lonely? He promised he wouldn't let you go, no matter the consequences!

Trey Clover

He became a victim of yours on accident, no questions asked.

You did feel bad since Trey was one of the few people who treat you like a normal human being even if he didn't knew who you were. Tho that was none of your concerns.

Everything started when Tweedle dumb broke a rule, since he was practically whining till your ears bled and with the lack of any targets to aim for, you followed him to met the Vice leader, Trey Clover himself.

He...was a nice person, like a big brother you never had. The warm welcome was at least nice, you felt attracted to him like a moth to a lamp.

Yet, there was something you didn't like about him, if a moth gets too close to the lamp, they might not realize that it's actually a roaring fire and turn to ashes, or more was it your paranoia because you were different.

He's annoying sometimes, you shut down many of your attempts at sabotaging certain racers, to trying to indulge in what you want to distract you for a little bit.

As much as you try to run away from the warm flames, you can't completely escape

Ace Trappola

The number one person you almost absolutely despise, no cap.

Tweedle dumb, you call him that since he often gets into trouble with other people during the racer's gathering due to how straight forward he is sometimes, but he is able resolve them with no problem and sneakily flee the scene.

Despite all the trouble he often caused along with Tweedle dumber, you consider him as one of your few friends you ever have. The first two to get to you when you're alone in a crowd and lost.

Your first ever target you hesitated to shoot, you couldn't shoot him no matter if it was needed for Grim's win, as if a part of you was saying it was immorally wrong.

At first, it really clashed with your perception since you hated this world and everything in it, you also didn't want to be noticed by outsiders for too long before your name has a standing on these grounds. You tried making many distractions and excuses to brush off Ace.

However, Ace was very quick witted so eventually he caught up with your schemes and told it straight to your face , so you couldn't run away any longer and chose to stay with him.

You're worried that he might catch on about your true identity sooner or later, or he might already know who you are. You know Ace is smart, no matter how much of a dumbass he looks, looks are deceiving.

He might have more alternative motives to keep you with him than letting you go~

Deuce Spade

Tweedle dumber, the end.

Deuce is...not that bright compared to Ace. Hell, you even think he knows nothing when you just decide to disappear in the crowd just to throw him off.

Your first few friends, the one who is willing to beat anyone up if they dare say an insult to you. For the sake of your sanity, you had to stop him multiple times from almost making many many racers get their bones crushed or wings injured.

But for the lack of brains, he definitely makes it all up in the brawns. Deuce physical stamina is no joke, he is still able to catch up once he spots you, no matter how fast you run so you have to give up on physical escape as it's a death wish.

From what you've heard about his stories, he was a delinquent before due to how his scores didn't match his hard work of studying, until he overheard his mom talking to his grandma in tears if she failed to be a good mother. From that day on, he swore to never make his mother cry and pursue to become a great mage. You wanted to laugh at the last few words, but an effort is an effort and you'll respect that.

In recent days, Deuce started to insist on helping with heavy gears or equipment whenever he sees you carrying them or tinkering with them, even though he's actually helping you with sabotaging without realizing it, you declined his offer as you don't really need it.

If the door is shut, it stays shut. He cannot budge it without the wits to do it.

Since MC’s essentially sabotaging racers to ensure Grim’s win, I wanna see how their interactions go down with the trio, considering how shady they are in the canonical story :D

Does Azul know of the fowl (pun intended) play going on behind the scenes? Does he do anything to stop it, or make it benefit him as well? Are Crowley and Azul competing with each other in this aspect? Very intriguing, would like to know

So just like everyone the octo trio doesn't know who the culprit is either, but he does know that Crowley is involved in this sabotaging race incident, he just doesn't have the evidences to prove it and is working to prove it, although the culprit seems to be pointing at you the more he tries to deny it...

Not every doors are ment to be opened, just like how every secrets are ment to be kept

Even if somethings might not be true to the targeted people, it's always better to be safe than sorry. A fake trap can still be a trap if use correctly, so any information you grasp, whether real or fake, could always come in use if you know how to play your chess.

You've heard more or less from the Octavinelle team, and alot about their shady business. They say that they're capable of making everyone's wish come true if they can uphold the cost, in which...not all were able to uphold it and become a fool of themselves, pathetic really... but you don't want to join that gang, you're already a fool as if you are right now.

So don't screw it up, your name does not exist in this world as people don't care about it, create a reputation that even you can't disperse, then everything will be over.

You've never met the head of the team neither the twins that follows them, and you prefer it that way as your actual status is being wanted by every Great Sevens whether were they your victims or not.

You have met someone similar to the Octavinelle head's description, a man with light grey wavy hair, with one long lock who surprisingly- can't fly very well despite claiming to be a racer, you find it funny seeing him struggle to even move 1 inch above ground. Then there's twin who looks very identical, one who has manners and rambles like a mushroom encyclopedia, the other is a big hugging killing machine you'd like to refer to since his grip could break your bones if you're not paying attention.

The shady business takoyaki, you like to call him that, once rambled about a sabotager in alot of races which made you jolted a little. He might have caught on that small reaction of yours, cause now he seems interested to pry in every aspects of your personal life, the twins-well the less mannered one seems to cling on you even more while the other one watches intentively...

If the attention is too much, you can always cut ties with them, break every connection and throw it into the abyss, nobody will be able to repair something that's destroyed to the dust, neither be attentive enough to find all the pieces together

It's been a few months since you've last seen them for your sake. A few months of erasing your trails, your existences from this world again.

Out of all the people who chose to visit you, it had to be the people who cared about you the most.

"I really thought you were joking when you told us yah a wanted criminal"

Ace Trapolla, your first true friend you made in this wretched world. The person you wanted to strangle the most before.

Ace didn't give you the best impression when you two first met, when Grim officially joined the racing tournament. But his attitude has definitely improved a lot better now once you guys got along.

And now? You didn't think he'd muster up the courage to come and bid his last goodbye, you know how terrible ace would be when it comes to moving on, but you guess this is an improvement

After all, as long as he understands that even he can't do anything to save you, atleast he can say his farewell to stop being delusional.

"Well, I guess this is farewell then, but don't think you can escape me in the after life!"

"Typical Ace, hehe."

Ace turned around, good, if you can't watch it, don't look, you keep telling Ace to not act whenever it's not needed. Atleast now he's starting to change, when you're gone...

The next person comes up to bid their goodbye, you expected him to be here if Ace was here.

"I always looked up to you since you gave me so much helpful advice...I never thought you were a criminal Yuu."

Deuce Spade, if there's Ace, there's a Deuce. It's a non-spoken rule that your group knows of.

Deuce was the more helpful person whenever you, him and Ace hung out with each other, often assisting with heavy groceries or gears in general. He is just all on brawns...really.

You know that if none of the 4 will come, at least Deuce will see you to bid his goodbye, he understands the situation atleast.

The reality is more brutal than you think, that's why you shouldn't always be so oblivious to everything, so that it will be easier to move on when the time comes.

"I guess this is really goodbye...Farewell, I'll make sure to follow your advice though!"

"I hope you don't get into anymore fights Deuce."

Upon hearing what you said, Deuce frowned a little bit, but regardless, he moved back. Now the next person...

"I didn't expect this, not from someone like you at least..."

Jack Howl, the tsundere wolf boy you jokingly like to call. He's the main person you can count on when you need to go somewhere else leaving Adeuce unsupervised.

If there's one thing you'd give to him, he's better than any of you in this group when talking about attitude, well almost. His tsundere attitude wasn't always your favorite because you didn't like dishonesty, not like you have never lied before.

Jack is disappointed, you're someone who told him to go with what's right to him, and yet here you are, near your death.

You promised you wouldn't leave them, yet you knew the inevitable fate would come...why did you made it anyway?

"I don't really have much to say, I thought you were better than this"

"Sorry wolf boy, looks are deceiving."

Jack's tail dropped down along with his ears, despite saying things like that, he often can't hide how he feels most of the time, making it easy to predict how he's feeling...

He moved out of the way for the next person to bid their goodbye, the person who probably looked at you like a deity.

"I admired y'ah alot with your sharp tongue to people, but...this is too far ain't it?"

Epel felmier, your person to go with, because you get discount with Epel's pretty face, and he's fun to tease sometimes... and the person who would stop Vil from almost trying to poison you everytime you made him frown for defending Epel

He always wants to appear strong, puffing his chest out and trying to prove he's really strong to even trying to help you with your heavy gears & equipment ( even though jack is there to help and you can managed just fine on your own ), to indulge in his antiques, you just give him mildly heavy object so he won't complain.

Right now? Epel is quite upset, if you're gone, then he'd have to deal with Vil without any help, and noone would acknowledge that he's strong just like you did.

Even though he's often fight through pest and rough times during the country side, it won't be the same as fighting to move on once you're gone...

"I hope you'll get stronger to help more people apple boi~"

"Argh- not everyone is gonna look at me like y'ah do.."

You smirked, teasing Epel was a piece of cake, well almost as easy to tease Jack, but you can't deny that he had saved you from starving before by offering apple pie. You won't be able to repay the favor.

The last one, he's more quiet than his usual...

"..."

Sebek Zigvolt, for the love of god, you have no idea how he made it into this group, and how you survive with your ear drums intact.

He's loud. Especially speaking to his "Waka-sama" whom you have little clue about, and whenever you're bored, just listen to Sebek's rambles, free entertainment I guess...

It's awfully hard to get Sebek quiet majority of the time, you're surprised that he even attended your execution when he always saying he needs to be with his waka-sama, he's really hard to understand sometimes, but you're happy he cares at a somewhat degree.

A foolish human that is blinded by despair, you've made him feel something he shouldn't have felt when he swears to be loyal to his Waka-sama, you'll have to pay the price.

"I don't think you'll have anything else to say, so just back off and look away Sebek."

"..."

All Sebek did was backing down and standing to were the first year group is. You'd thought you'll lose your hearing to him because of how he follows what's moral and what's not alot.

But at the very least, your closest friends came...

You can go, till you meet them again next life.

You're luck couldn't get any worse right?

You already had to deal with Tweedle dumb, Tweedle dumber and Grim's ruckus during the festival stalls, just after resolving everything, you have to meet face to face with the red tyrant, Riddle Roseheart, Your first victim.

Let's just say this, you did not have one great impression of Riddle in one bit, neither did he have any great impressions of you either. You could see his face turn into a displeased look to you, but it seems he still respects you at a somewhat level.

"Thank you for dealing with Ace and Deuce's troubles, they'll be punished accordingly according to the rules."

Ah, so it seems like not everyone could resolve the trouble that goes along with them, perhaps that's why he hasn't lectured you just yet. But back to the point, you bid your farewell with the duo who both have a terrified look and begging you to save them, it's not your problem so you won't interfere.

That was the last time you hoped you met Riddle...

The second was when you saw him alone, which opened an old wound of yours.

You were walking around the stalls during the 4th day of the racing festival, only because the Crow has been nagging for you to go take a walk and be social, but you obligated no less. Lo and behold, you saw Riddle, with quite a sad look on his face, standing alone in the crowd waiting for someone, it reminded you back when Crowley once tried to get you to open up with everyone...

You're a disappointment to this world.

Why do your type of people exist, you should be dead.

Slaves don't deserve rights.

You're not worthy of our time.

You swallowed up your pride, and sat on the opposite seat with Riddle. He looked pretty flabbergasted about this act of yours since you never respected him in any aspect. You just told him you didn't like seeing people lonely like this and willing to be his temporary friend when you see him alone, which made Riddle not only spew nonsense but also being very red. That's when your friendship started to grow.

The last time you saw him was when he invited you to the unbirthday party.

He tried making up some rules or anything to get you going to the Unbirthday party, but it was a big ceremony and a lot of people will notice you, you'd risk getting yourself known. You told him you'd only stay for a little bit and then that would be the last favor he could ask, Riddle didn't expect it would be the last time he'd see you...

The next day, Riddle waited on the usual spot for you so you both can take a stroll...That was strange, you always appeared on time. Maybe you were busy today?

You didn't appear either in the next day, nor the day after tomorrow...

Whether was it your social skills or your hatred for the people's wings? You have no clue, but the later option seems stronger.

However to scout for your next victims, it's inevitable that you have to blend yourself to the crowd and find your next target to sabotage in the race, and avoiding the ones that you're already done with. There's just this one-

"Hey Yuu! Wait for ol' Cay Cay will you?"

You're not to sure if Cater suspects you but it's better to not get involved with him, despite not having many connections than your other targets, he's still a big threat to your work and you're not looking forward to go to jail.

He always try to engage in a conversation with you, to even desperately trying to get small talks out of you, you just never cared to respond and stayed silent in hopes he'll leave you alone which take HOURS

SavanaClaw is quite interesting, they're the people who hold not as much power like human avians do, but they're higher than ordinary humans. There are some special cases of beastmen having wings as well, although it's rare but they're treated higher than a normal beast man.

You first met Jack during the culprit chase ( aka you're the wanted but nobody needs to know that ), it happened when Heartslabyul and SavanaClaw were having a spell drive tournament, you managed to turn the tides by making it seem like the equipment where already like this but the heat wasn't off your back entirely. Jack shortly joined into your fruitless life when you got involved with Octavinelle, thought you didn't asked him to join, you appreciated the help.

If your memory serves you right, Ruggie looked similar to a boy you saw in the slums before, not like you remembered correctly ever since your crashed accident when practicing with your fake wings. You remember him giving you some parts or even food, but you don't remember him owing you anything. It was because of that suspicion so you decided to not be involved with him no more.

Leona, you've heard of this name before he was in SavanaClaw...but that's not your concern! He is rude, literally. Yet he does let you off the hook more than his teammates do. Call him the second born? You'd probably become his pillow for that day. Call him a cat? Yep, you better run before he pounces. It feels nostelgic in someway...maybe because of his pride and never bothering to explain it to you, he lost you once again...
