WELCOME TO... MY VALENTINES EXTRA COMMISSION SALE, IN HONOR OF RAGTIME, MY CAT, AND HIS EXPENSIVE TUMMY ACHE
$50 gets you a half body drawing of two characters being sappy/romantic!! I'll draw them in fun little romantic themed clothes or just what they usually wear, it's all up to you baby.
+$25 per extra character: unlock polyamory in this exciting DLC!!
+$25 for suggestive themes: I'm not going to draw straight up sex but this is for the ppl who wanna have characters posed or dressed sexily, doing sloppy make outs, being a little horny, ect. It's an add on bc I don't usually take this kind of commission, and I can reject anything I'm not comfortable with! Thank you for understanding 🤗
Sale lasts until February 29th! If you want something drawn by that date now's the time to reach me at [email protected]!! I use paypal for all commission work, and I have a 1-2 week turn around!
In addition, for the duration of this month I'm also offering a broad 15% discount on my NORMAL COMMISSIONS. Same instructions apply, help me reach my current goal of $757 to pay off a vet bill!
Do you have any advice when it comes to finding references for your vintage work style-wise? Are there certain keywords or particular artists you look for?
It actually all sorta came about naturally for me since I grew up watching lots of old cartoons!
Things like Garfield, Schoolhouse Rock, and commercials animated by Hanna-Barbera definitely held a lot of visual inspiration for me. A good resource I found is old, print media. I find antique places sell old magazines and junk papers super cheap and I look for the ones with lots of illustrations! But Internet Archive has free scanned catalogs of old comics, books, magazines, cartoons, ect to peruse which is an invaluable source! Decades like the 60s, 70s, and 80s had cartoon styles that I really grew attached to, so try poking around those dacdes' for art inspiration! It's easy to get lost in it...
If I see Cass or Duke referred to as Bruce’s "only sane/normal children" I will scream. No one in that family is sane or normal. No one has to be. Everyone has different areas of insanity, and different areas of intelligence. There is not one single batkid who isn't a dumbass, especially not Duke or Cass. Do you want me to list the reasons for each of them? I will do it.
