The dark-haired woman showed no emotion in her eyes, as the man on the floor begs and cries for her help. He clangs to her leg, pleading eyes staring into dark ones, while blood slips from his side. The phone was in her hand, she could call them and get this man the help he needs.

And yet.

She just stood there.

"You bitch!!! Are you deaf?!!"

Groaning in annoyance she tosses and turns under her blanket, at the loud banging next door. She pulls the covers over her head and tries to fall back to sleep. It's slightly dark in her apartment, with only the light from the small openings in the window blinds.

She hears the yelling of a woman almost twice her age, and this wasn't the first time this has occurred. It's happened numerous times to the point, the tired woman thinks of hurting her, but she never does.

Exhausted and aggravated she gets out of bed not even caring about putting on her slippers or covering herself up.

"YOUR TV'S TOO DAMN LOUD!!"

".....I'm sorry-"

The man gets interrupted by the door to the apartment next door flying open, with a tired and annoyed young woman wobbling out of her room.

The sun's light shines off her smooth golden brown skin, she holds herself up from the door frame with one hand. While only wearing her matching scarlet bra and underwear. Her long, black coils with pieces sticking out, covered one of her dark brown-reddish eyes.

"Shut The Hell Up." she glares at the lady making her tremble in fear and walk away without saying another word.

'𝘚𝘰𝘰 𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥...'

"Th-thanks for that Misumi-chan"

The young woman looks at her neighbor Takemichi Hangaki almost forgetting he was there.

"...Oh...yea, no problem...*yawn*..." she turns around and lazily walks inside and plops down on her bed without at least closing the door. Takemichi takes a look inside and notices her clothes, shoes, and bottles of wine on the floor. Her trash can was so full that trash was spilling out, and the sink full of dirty dishes.

Misumi waits at the front of a cafe for Takemichi to go get lunch. She hasn't been there for too long she just got there 5 minutes ago, after cleaning her apartment. It's her day off so what better way to spend it than taking 2 hours of it cleaning?

She wore a black, sleeveless jumpsuit with a floral design and white sneakers. Her hair swept to the side, letting her long dark coils fall freely off her shoulder, while she played with one of the strands.

"Did you hear about the dispute that happened last night with the Tokyo Manji Gang?"

"Yea, it's all over the news"

Misumi overhears a conversation between two girls sitting outside the cafe, she tries not to listen. But curiosity got the best of her so she darts her gaze elsewhere, while also listening to the girl's conversation.

"I feel bad for all those people who ended up getting caught up in their mess"

"Right, Especially that Tachibana girl and her brother, didn't she go to the same high school as us?"

"Yea, she was always so nice to everyone and so helpful...she was a little bossy though...." The conversation starts fading away from her mind, as she'd heard enough.

'𝘏𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘢-𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯? 𝘕𝘢𝘰𝘵𝘰-𝘬𝘶𝘯?... 𝘚𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰𝘰, 𝘩𝘶𝘩?'

Hinata Tachibana, a friend of Misumi's back in middle school, but during their second year in high school, Misumi moved away without letting her know. Ever since then they've never seen nor spoken to each other, She feels regret for never taking the time to see her friend again.

She tries to think of something else to brighten her mood.

'𝘊𝘢𝘵𝘴....𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴...𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘬𝘪...𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥...𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥...𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥...'

As she's thinking about food her stomach starts rumbling '𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭, 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘪𝘧 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘺?' But just as she was about to call Takemichi, she sees in the corner of her eye a figure running toward her. She looks over at it and, as it got closer, she could tell it was the dark-haired boy she had been waiting for.

"What happened to you?" she asks Takemichi who's in a bowing position, holding onto his knees trying to catch his breath while wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"Nothing..*huff*..just didn't want to make you wait too long," he makes up an excuse for her while scratching his neck nervously.

Misumi scanned him suspiciously and then ignored it "You didn't have to do that, anyway let's go." They both start making their way toward the train station, but not even the walk could stop Misumi's mind from pondering what those two girls were speaking of.

'...𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘰𝘬𝘺𝘰 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘫𝘪 𝘎𝘢𝘯𝘨'

Both Misumi and Takemichi stood near the edge of the train platform waiting for the train. Going out to get food is like a daily routine for them, every day after Takemichi's done with work they go out to get something to eat together.

*Sigh*

"What's up? Is it because you have to pay for this week's lunch?" Misumi jokingly asks, Every week they would play rock-paper-scissors for who had to pay for food the whole week.

Takemichi lost so he has to pay for the rest of this week's lunches.

"No, it's not that...just been thinking about how screwed up my life has been."

Misumi hums in response "Your life's not the only thing that's messed up, haven't you noticed your apartment?"

"Yea, I already know my apartment is a mess"

"It's a lot more than a mess- Ow!" Takemichi pinches her arm "You can shut up now." He says slightly irritated. She pinches him back but to make it worse she twisted it too, Takemichi lets out a loud painful scream causing them to gain the attention of the people at the station.

Misumi places her hand on his back rubbing circles to soothe him, knowing that she's the cause of his pain.

"Sorry about that...But your life isn't completely messed up at least you have a job and a place to stay, instead of living on the streets homeless."

"Yea...instead I have a boss who's 6 years younger than me and she treats me like an idiot, at least your boss likes you." Takemichi says with a sad smile "We live in an apartment with paper walls, and we're both still single. " he continues.

"And don't forget you're still a virgin" Misumi adds as if it's supposed to make things better.

"I've only had one girlfriend and that was in middle school, and this morning I just found out that she's dead...To be honest I've never had anything perfect." Takemichi looks at Misumi with the same sad smile.

"Where did it all go wrong?"

They both looked at each other smiling at how disappointing their lives are, Misumi looks away and sees the train coming.

But, when she looks back at Takemichi he's falling onto the tracks. Misumi grabs his leg, but before she could pull him back she gets pushed onto the tracks with him.

The two sat up and looked at the train in shock as it was about to hit them. They had no time to get up or try to move out of the way, all they could do was sit there as the train's headlights got brighter and brighter.

At that moment, none of them could think about their families, friends, or even each other.

Misumi looks in front of her and sees a girl with short pink hair and pink eyes, she wore a school uniform like the one Misumi used to wear back in middle school.

Misumi scans the classroom and it looks like a solid copy of her old middle school.

"Hinata-chan, why does this place look exactly like our old middle school?"

"Because...it is...."

"...Why?"

The pink-haired girl gives her friend a questionable look "Are you okay, Misumi-chan? Why wouldn't it be?..... This isn't your class but it is our school"

Just then she hears something vibrating in the school bag that she's been holding on her lap this whole time. Misumi gets the phone out of the bag, it's her old flip phone she opens it and...

'𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯!?....' she starts to mentally panic.

'𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘺 4𝘵𝘩, 2005!?' she glanced back up at Hinata, she looked worried for her friend, so Misumi gives her a nervous closed-eye smile.

"I'm gonna go use the restroom...I'll be back" She gets up with her bag and walked out of the classroom, she roams the hallways while also looking for the restroom.

'𝘈𝘮 𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬?'

After 2 more minutes, she finally finds the restroom, she ran inside and looked in the mirror. She's wearing her old school uniform.

Her hair is in two, low, loose braids with little curls by both ears, and she's wearing her old round glasses. And she had a big white bandage on her right cheek.

The school bell rings meaning it's either time to change classes or the school day is over, She takes out her phone to check the time.' 15:05...𝘚𝘰 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘴 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳?'

Misumi grabs her bag off the counter and ran out of the bathroom to her class, she just wanted to check something before she leaves.

'𝘐𝘧 𝘐'𝘮 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴.....' After a few minutes, she makes it to her class, she slides the door open and saw almost everyone was gone a few people stayed, while some were just about to leave.

"Hey, Misumi!?" she hears a very familiar feminine voice call out her name.

'𝘈𝘪𝘺𝘢....'

She had beautiful long silky blonde hair, brown eyes, and tawny orange-brown skin. She was at a desk next to an attractive boy with brown-messy hair, and green eyes.

'𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘶 𝘐𝘮𝘢𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘪𝘺𝘢 𝘚𝘶𝘻𝘶𝘬𝘪...𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭.' She smiled, waved, and left, she only wanted to see if her hypothesis was right.

As she passed the second door in the back to the classroom, it opened revealing Haru.

"What's wrong Misumi?" Haru asks her with a concerned voice, she looks up at him with the best smile she could muster.

'𝘈𝘩 𝘺𝘦𝘴, 𝘔𝘺 "𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨" 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘴𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘥.'

"Nothing, I'm just exhausted, I'll see you tomorrow, Bye" she continued on her way out of the school.

Haru was a great friend to Misumi, this year during the summer he confessed his feelings for her, and they started dating.

Misumi tries to remember all those memorable moments she and Haru had together, but each memory was always interrupted by that night in the warehouse.

The darkness, with the moon as the only light source, the blood everywhere, and both Aiya and Haru's bodies lying on the ground.

Just as she turned the corner she noticed some girls talking about something. Misumi paid no attention and walked past them to the stairs, but she did hear something in their conversation her and Aiya's names.

"Misumi wait up?!"

Before she could walk down the stairs, she sees Aiya running toward her. She had this heartwarming smile that made her look so innocent. Everyone could agree that she was the prettiest and nicest girl in school.

"You know if something is wrong you can talk to me?... Right?" Aiya reassured her with a worried expression.

Misumi doesn't react, she looks almost as if she was lost in her thoughts. But just when Aiya was about to say something, Misumi smiles at her and says,

"Yea, thanks." Then she walked away, leaving a confused Aiya.

Aiya was Misumi's best friend since they were kids, with Aiya being the only person she knew who was both black and Japanese. They become great friends, and Misumi would tell her everything, If there was anyone she would talk to about her problems it would be Aiya.

However she didn't want to waste any more time thinking about them, she needed to find Takemichi.

If she ended up coming here after getting hit by that train then so did he. Her only problem is she doesn't know where he is, she wasn't very close with him back then.

She knew some things about him because of Hinata, and she heard that he and his friends had their little gang or group.

At the school gate, Misumi called Hinata to find out if she knew where he could be.

"Hanagaki-kun?...No, I haven't seen him, Is there something wrong?"

"No, everything's fine...but thanks for your help"

Misumi ends the call and lets out a disappointed sigh, so she decides to go looking around for him.

She walked around a few different parks and after an hour, she decided to take a break and stop at a convenience store to get a snack. Misumi was so hungry that she didn't realize, she wasn't the only customer there.

Misumi notices one last dorayaki in the back of the store, and her eyes light up with joy.

'𝘋𝘖𝘙𝘈𝘠𝘈𝘒𝘐!!' she quickly walked over to grab it but just as her hand was about to touch it someone else's hand reaches out for it too.

They both looked at each other and shared the same surprised expression, it was a boy with pitch-black eyes, and his blond hair was long and tied at the top.

There was also another guy standing behind him who was much taller than him. He had blond hair and both sides of his head were shaved with a dragon tattoo on one side. He had his hair in a long braided ponytail with a few strands loose in front.

'𝘊𝘙𝘈𝘗!! 𝘞𝘏𝘈𝘛 𝘋𝘖 𝘐 𝘋𝘖?!?! 𝘖𝘯𝘦, 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸! 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘸𝘰...𝘛𝘏𝘐𝘚 𝘐𝘚 𝘈 𝘋𝘖𝘙𝘈𝘠𝘈𝘒𝘐 𝘔𝘖𝘕𝘚𝘛𝘌𝘙 𝘐𝘕 𝘍𝘙𝘖𝘕𝘛 𝘖𝘍 𝘔𝘌!! 𝘐𝘍𝘐 𝘓𝘌𝘛 𝘏𝘐𝘔 𝘎𝘌𝘛 𝘛𝘏𝘐𝘚 𝘉𝘌𝘍𝘖𝘙𝘌 𝘔𝘌 𝘐'𝘓𝘓 𝘗𝘙𝘖𝘉𝘈𝘉𝘓𝘠 𝘋𝘐𝘌 𝘖𝘍 𝘚𝘛𝘈𝘙𝘝𝘈𝘛𝘐𝘖𝘕!!'

It was silent for a few seconds, so silent that she now realizes there was music playing in the store.

She brings her head down and as fast as she could, she took the dorayaki put it in her mouth dropped the money at the front, and ran out. She just kept running too afraid to look back thinking that they might be chasing her, she just tested her luck there.

'𝘍𝘖𝘙𝘎𝘌𝘛 𝘓𝘖𝘖𝘒𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘍𝘖𝘙 𝘛𝘈𝘒𝘌𝘔𝘐𝘊𝘏𝘐!! 𝘐'𝘔 𝘎𝘖𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘏𝘖𝘔𝘌!!'

The sun was starting to set and she kept running till she made it back home, she ran up the stairs, stopping halfway to catch her breath and calm herself down.

'𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯...𝘐𝘧 𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘨𝘰 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐'𝘮 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘪𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘳, 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘺!'

She makes it to her floor and stops at her apartment door.Misumi fixes her glasses and looks at the apartment number on the door. '...2 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧...'

She searches in her bag for the keys and opened the door, she takes her shoes off, and once she made it to the living room, she scanned the whole room, she felt a warm and painful feeling in her chest.

Seeing all the photos around the room of different memories she had when she was younger, some with her brother, his friends, and her parents. Just the see her home again was enough to make her eyes water.

She felt regret for being so ungrateful and leaving everything good she had behind.

She ran away from everything. And for what?

"Hey? You good?"

Her eyes widened in surprise at the familiar voice, She turned to the voice behind her.

"Keisuke?..."

He looks the same as she last remembered, with the same long black hair and brown-reddish eyes. He still had his school uniform and bag meaning he had just come back home.

More tears started pouring down her face, he looked worried but before he could do anything she ran up to him giving him a hug causing him to lose his balance and fall back.

"What's up with you?!"

"Nothing!..*sniff*...Just really missed my big brother! And I'm sorry for being a crappy little sister! I love you so much!!"

"Yea yea, I do too...now get off of me" he pats her head, and after a few seconds, she stood up, and wiped away her tears.

He gets up and gives her a confused look "Seriously, what's up with you?.... Yesterday you acted like I didn't exist, now all of a sudden today you 'really miss me?' "

She didn't know what to say so, she brings her head down, "Sorry..." He didn't say anything, she watches him walk into the kitchen, and open the fridge looking for something.

"It's fine, I was just surprised that's all...Want some?" He holds up a bowl of Peyoung Yakisoba.

For the first time since she's gotten here, she was genuinely happy "Yea" As she made her way to the table her mind kept wondering about what might happen to her.

'𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯. 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘪𝘧 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵?'

She looked down at the bowl of Peyoung Yakisoba, they gave their thanks and ate. Misumi's mind was still wondering about this "going back in time thing" but she wanted to try and have some small talk with her brother.

The only problem is she didn't know what to say.

"What happened to your cheek?" She looks up at Keisuke and touches her cheek feeling the bandage. She doesn't even remember how she got hurt.

Misumi tries to come up with an answer to his question. She gives him an awkward smile and says,

"I...I was trying to help a boy who was getting beat up this morning at school."

'𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵?'

"Hmph, I'm sure the other person looks worse" He let out a short laugh, thinking about how bad the person would look after she beats them up.

"Yea...You would laugh at something like that."

"Huh, what's that supposed to mean?!" He asks her angrily, she looks away slightly scared of his reaction.

'𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘩𝘦'𝘥 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 it 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺.'

"I mean, you just really enjoy beating the crap out of people and doing a lot of other crazy things."

"Your one to talk"

"Huh?"

"You talk as if you're innocent."

"I never said I was innocent! But at least I don't do the type of stuff that you do on the daily!"

"Oh please, I remember back in elementary you got into more fights than me. Or what about the time, when you got angry at that girl and started chasing her around with fire from a lighter? Or that time when-"

Suddenly, Keisuke stopped himself from saying anything else, he looks as if he'd just realized something. He doesn't say anything and just continues eating his food.

Misumi doesn't understand what happened to him, '𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 g𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥?'

They both continued to eat in silence then Misumi broke the silence "So...What's going on with Toman?... I mean, like is everything okay?"

He didn't give her a quick reply, she looked up and he was taken aback by her question.

"...Fine?...surprised you asked, just thought you didn't care?"

'𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'

"Oh...Well, I was just a little curious if Toman's fine then...make sure you all keep it that way. You and the others make sure nothing bad happens to Toman or its commander. And take care of yourselves too, okay?"

It all sounded both cringy and stupid coming from her, someone who stopped caring and even tried to forget about Toman and everyone in it.

"Where the hell is this all coming from?" Keisuke questions her sudden care for the gang. Misumi brings her head down regretting her words and trying to hide her embarrassment.

"But sure...of course, we won't" He gave her a small reassuring smile, and in response, Misumi smiled back at him. But what's on her mind is,

What corrupted Toman to become the way it is in the future?

She only hopes what she did changes something in the future, and if Takemichi did come back here with her, she hopes he did something to change his future for the better too.

This next question she wanted to ask, she's been thinking about it for a while now, even though she had seen him a little while ago she just needed someone else to give her an answer.

Besides, she may never get a chance like this again.

"Um...So how is Ma-"

*BUZZ-BUZZ*

Before Misumi could finish her phone vibrates in her pocket, she took it out seeing it was a message from Hinata.

Hina<3: Hey, if you're still looking for Hanagaki-kun, he just left my house to the park nearby.

Misumi: Thx

Misumi puts her phone away and gets ready to leave, her brother watches curiously as she heads to the front door.

"Where are you going?!"

"To see a friend...Bye!"

She sprinted out of the apartment and down the stairs to her bike, the bike was kinda old, but no one would know because of how clean it looked. Misumi got on and made her way to the park, it wasn't far, and it only took her 10 minutes to get there.

When she got there she saw a blonde-haired boy who looked ruffed up talking to a younger dark-haired kid.

'𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮...'

"Takemichi!!"

He turns around and watches questionably as Misumi walked up to him, "Huh...Baji-chan?...Is something wrong?"

"Did you come back too?" She didn't waste any time she just went straight to the point.

"Back? Back where?"

'𝘎𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨? 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬?'

"Um...I should probably go home?" The dark-haired kid spoke up realizing it was time for him to leave. He still had his school outfit on and he was holding onto the strap of his bag.

'𝘕𝘢𝘰𝘵𝘰? 𝘏𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘢-𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯'𝘴 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘪?'

"No, you can't walk by yourself I'll bring you." Misumi offered.

Takemichi looked lost, so to get out of this uncomfortable position he leaves. He walked passed Misumi but, she couldn't let him leave yet something just wasn't right. If she got hit and, then went back in time then why didn't Takemichi go back too?

She tried to grab his wrist, but instead, she ended up grabbing his hand. Then everything froze.

*Ba-Dump*

"Their awake!!"

Misumi quickly sits up and notices a police officer in front of her, she looks around and sees she's lying on a bed in what she could presume is a medical station. She touches all over herself and stops when she feels the coils of her soft hair.

'𝘐 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬....𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦!' She sighs in relief.

"Misumi-chan?!"

She darts to her right and sees Takemichi sitting up on the same sort of bed she's on. He looks at the police officer and asks "Where...are we?"

"You're at The Station's Medical Office, you two fell off the station platform onto the tracks"

Misumi takes a glance at the calendar next to her '𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘺 4𝘵𝘩, 2017!? 𝘚𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵...𝘢 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮.'

"But then how did we survive, even if we were saved, How did we make it out without any injuries?" She questioned, it all sounded unbelievable for them to make it out without a single scratch.

"Would it be okay if I talked to them alone for a moment?" A handsome man with a black suit, blue eyes, and black hair now stood in between Misumi and Takemichi, he looked very familiar to her.

"Sure, go ahead. This was the man that saved you two"

'𝘏𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘴?' she looked him up and down twice '𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘶𝘺?!'

"I'm Tachibana Naoto" He formally introduced himself to them. "Wait?.... Naoto-kun?!" Misumi asked surprised that he was alive.

"It's been a while Misumi-chan" He turned to look at Takemichi" You changed my fate on July 4th, 2005."

'𝘚𝘰 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭!?'

"Huh?! That was real?! But, didn't you die?" Takemichi looks as shocked and confused as Misumi.

"You leaped through time, and so I survived and saved you and Misumi-chan. Takemichi-kun your time leap changed the future"

'𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴...' Misumi mentally cries as she listens to Naoto.

Naoto leaves to grab a chair, while Misumi gets up to sit with Takemichi on his bed. When Naoto comes back he sat down and explains how Takemichi changed his future.

"Takemichi-kun, 12 years ago today you said to me: "Protect your sister". I desperately studied and became a detective to protect her."

"Then Hinata-chan is-" Misumi stops herself, and he looks down with a frown on his face.

"...I'm sorry. My sister died." they just stared at him in shock "I did everything I could and yet...And yet!!" He says with tears at the corner of his eyes.

She sympathizes with Naoto, he tried so hard to save his sister only for him to fail in the end. She starts to imagine how he must've felt knowing at such a young age, that his sister was going to die in 12 years.

He looks up at them with determination in his eyes "PLEASE HELP ME!! WE CAN SAVE MY SISTER!!" Misumi glances over at Takemichi, he looked kinda nervous but she could tell he was definitely in, she nodded letting them know that she was in too.

"We can...save Hinata..."
