The more time spent with Tahirah the more confident he grew in his baking skills - a dangerous thing if left unsupervised. But he really only wanted to when she was around.
Fingers tapped almost impatiently on the counter as he peered into the oven. “They’ll still be orange once out of the oven?” His knowledge in how baking and the ovens worked was severely lacking. Most of the time things turned burnt for him..

"Countess?" One of the servants called from the kitchen doorway. "Lady Orzora and her servants have arrived early! Arlyn and Nuriel are currently keeping them occupied with a musical number."

Tahirah looked down at herself - apron over a plain dress than one appropriate for company. "I guess I should get changed..."

Cue Leon stepping aside so the other with him could introduce herself. A shorter woman, with emerald eyes and black hair that was about shoulder length, beamed at Hana as she approached her. She had a basket of freshly-baked goods hanging off one arm.
"Hello! Greetings, Hana~!" If one could describe her smile, it was like beaming sunlight on a beautiful morning. "My name is Tahirah, Tahirah Zakiyaa! It's a pleasure to meet you. And would you like something to eat?" She extended her basket towards Hana warmly. "I just baked these mixed berry scones this morning...feel free to take some!"

Tahirah does not shove things in Brent's mouth, as it would be rude to choke her husband of all people by accident, and especially without permission. She does, however, offer him a cupcake. "Would you like one, Brent?" She smiled. "I baked them myself. Salt caramel flavour." (adeadlysong, The Royal Arrangement)
SHOVE SOMETHING IN MY MUSE’S MOUTH.
Brent smelled the cupcake before it was even placed before him, offered by his wife Tahirah. He was all smiles before he reached forward and took a bite, then slowly chewed on his favorite flavor.
“Did Nobutsuna tell you this is my favorite? How did you know? You’re absolutely talented, just, filled with one skill after the next, with your dancing, singing, gardening and now baking?”
Yes Brent was going to compliment her nonstop, for she made him incredibly happy by baking his favorite treat. He felt spoiled and yet torn. Half of him wanted to go and share this happiness with the other members of the palace, and the other half wanted to sit here and have the while tray by himself. Being the compulsive fae he was, he decided on the latter.
“Thank you so much,” he spoke after realizing he had yet to show gratitude.

I am capable of keeping up with the times. Yes, this includes me drinking wine while bitching about exes while blasting Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble,” which I do far more often than I should. Also, I know a good few karaoke places nearby where the Meet & Greet is… Also, I know the modern vernacular. I’m trying to stay relevant, DAMMIT!
I started getting into poisons at a young age and I’ve done plenty of research. I have a gigantic collection of poisons that I use. If you need advice on brewing new poisons, feel free to ask me. Don’t worry, I won’t bring any poisons into the coven meeting room, but I’ll definitely have any healing potions just in case any accidents happen or someone just happens to be injured. Also, I’ll have (untainted and NOT poisoned) wine to bring on occasion.
I have an ex named Naoto and a son named Nobutsuna. If I am exceptionally bitter one day, it’s probably because of one of or both of them. I’ll try to keep bitching about them to a minimum during meetings, but no guarantees. Good news: The ex is no longer trying to kill me. Bad news: We’re still kind of awkward with each other and trying to get to the point of being friends, so try not to bring him up unless I’ve already done so.

SHAPESHIFTING—Azami can use magic and/or potions to change herself from an older to a youthful form. She’ll probably be present in her youthful form for most meetings as she wants to look somewhat welcoming, appealing, and friendly as opposed to her default older form. However, there will be times when she does stay in her default older form, though that probably won’t happen as much until she warms up to the other coven members.
POTIONS—usually used for poisoning, but she has several non-lethal types of potions she’s brewed as well. She has much experience, as noted in the three random facts section (specifically fact number 2).

I love food. I do a lot of baking ,and I’m going to be bringing my baked goods to the coven. If anyone has food allergies, let me know! Also, if you have any requests for specific foods, let me know as well and I’ll try to make them to the best of my ability! I hope you don’t mind me summoning a kitchen in the coven room on occasion!

I’m a bit of a dollmaker, see. I make all kinds of dolls, but I take a huge amount of pride in life-sized dolls. So…I have a giant collection of them as a result. Yeah. Don’t worry, I won’t bring them in if you’re uncomfy, but if I ever come in looking like I went on an all night bender, it’s probably because I worked a bit too much on making a new doll the night before.
I’m friends with Azami. I know it sounds weird, but it’s true. We met when we were both sneaking around in the forbidden section of a library, joined forces, and the rest is history. How am I still alive, given her liking towards poisons? I have no freaking clue.
I can cook! I’m more of a savoury-food-cooking person as opposed to sweets, but maybe I’ll bring some snacks over every once in a while. I realize I haven’t done so much yet, but I promise *SOON.* I’ll be the savoury chef to Tahirah’s baker! XD

DOLL MANIPULATION—Maximilian is capable of making the inanimate, well, animate. This especially includes all the life-sized dolls he creates. Meaning that he can basically make a doll army at will. Be careful.

Tahirah nearly tripped over her own feet as she approached Sothis, but thankfully, the tray of scones in her hands stayed perfectly intact and didn’t fall over, nor did any of the scones fall off. A relieved breath left Tahirah as she glanced toward the goddesss, before extending a tray of scones to her.
“Would you like a scone? I baked them myself...and they’re lemon blueberry, by the way!”

OOC: Good question! When Tahirah first started baking as a really young child, it would be inbetween and/or after lessons for the day where she'd ask for help. The cooks found it endearing that she wanted to learn more about the process and so taught her accordingly.
Later on, as her baking grew more frequent, including more late-night and early-morning sessions, the staff and the entire rest of the castle realized fast that oh. Oh this is more than just a childhood hobby at this point. We should probably give her her own space.
Eventually they had a personal kitchen for Tahirah installed in the castle after Melodia's civil war ended (so by the time she was around 13). Tahirah continues baking in it to this day. :D

"To bake with, I presume?" Rafaele stood by her side, a chuckle leaving him.
"Yes! The Ulwaat berries look perfect to bake into a pie, or a loaf for breakfast!"
Just like Tahirah, Rafaele coudln't help but think, always so eager to try to bake new creations. It was a past time of the Countess of Melodia to bake frequently, and it seemed that she'd even take advantage of this trip to bake some more too....
