And the countdown to number one continues with ATL's one & only at number 9, T.I. ~Hope Elle~💋 Artist Biography by Andy Kellman Once dubbed "the Jay-Z of the South" by Pharrell Williams, T.I. gradually came into his own and established himself as one of rap's most successful MCs during the early 2000s. Like Jay-Z, T.I. -- born Clifford Harris in Atlanta, Georgia -- carried a balance of smoothness and toughness, and although 2001's I'm Serious didn't shoot him out of the gate à la Reasonable Doubt, he consistently grew and launched a string of major hits with 2003's "24's." Throughout the six following years, T.I. maintained a consistent presence on urban radio stations in America: 2003's Trap Muzik, 2004's Urban Legend, 2006's King (released in tandem with T.I.'s debut screen appearance in ATL), 2007's T.I. vs T.I.P., and 2008's Paper Trail -- all released through the MC's deal with Atlantic -- were Top Ten albums, with the latter three even spending time at the very top of the chart. For better or for worse, T.I. also courted a good deal of controversy during his rise to superstar status. Far more ink was spent on his legal issues and conflicts with other rappers, including fellow Southerner Lil' Flip, than on his Katrina relief efforts and other humanitarian involvements. One notable event occurred on May 3, 2006, when T.I.'s crew was caught up in a shooting after a show in Cincinnati. The crossfire left three people injured, while longtime friend and personal assistant Philant Johnson was fatally wounded. Despite such incidents, T.I. continued to flourish as the decade drew to a close, releasing three chart-topping rap singles and four Top Five pop hits between 2008 and 2009. His career took a breather in 2009, however, when the rapper entered an Arkansas prison to serve a yearlong sentence related to federal gun charges. 1월 25일 진행되는 힙합이즈원 “노이즈맙”편의 스페셜게스트를 공개한다.

이날 함께할 스페셜게스트는 세계 최고의 비보이 크루 “T.I.P크루”이며,

T.I.P크루는 최고의 퍼포먼스와 루키들과의 토크쇼로 힙합이즈원을 빛낼 예정이다.

또한 케이팝스타에서 발군의 춤 실력으로 주목을 받았던 “박정은”양이 T.I.P크루의 멤버로서 함께할 예정이다.

음악이라는 공감대 아래 모두가 하나가 되는 MUSIC IS ONE은 자신만의 꿈을 걷는 대한민국 후배 뮤지션들에게 스스로를 알릴 수 있는 무대제공을 해주고, 메인 뮤지션과의 교류할 수 있는 장을 마련하기 위해 기획되었다.

HIPHOP IS ONE을 시작으로 JAZZ IS ONE, INDIE IS ONE, ROCK IS ONE 등 총 7장르로 구성 될 MUSIC IS ONE은 추후 페스티벌로 개체 될 예정이며, 때문에 각각의 공연이 가지는 의미와 퀄리티는 한층 더 업그레이드 되었다.

1회 Jerry.K, 2회 MC 메타 of 가리온, 로꼬의 참여로 많은 관심을 모았었던 그 세번째 행사가 MUSIC IS ONE이라는 타이틀과 함께 처음으로 1월 25일 금요일 저녁 마이크임팩트의 스토리플랫폼 엠스퀘어에서 개최된다.

“HIPHOP IS ONE”은 멘토 역할을 해줄 힙합씬 대표 뮤지션의 스토리,

힙합씬의 기대주 Rookie들의 토크쇼, Main MC & Rookie의 공연,

리스너들과 질의응답 시간을 통해 모두가 “ONE”이 될 수 있는 소통, 교류의 장을 제공하며

이날 이벤트를 통하여 노이즈맙의 특별한 선물도 증정할 예정이다.

1월 25일 진행되는 “HIPHOP IS ONE” Main MC로는

한국힙합의 최종 병기라는 별명을 가진 “Noise Mob”이 참여할 예정이다.

Noise Mob은 강연에서 [Stand ART]라는 주제로 그들이 세우고 있는 예술에 대해서 깊이 있는 이야기와 더불어 리스너, 루키, 힙합씬에 임팩트 있는 메시지를 전할 예정이다.

이날 함께할 Rookie는 공개 모집을 통해 노이즈맙, 마이크임팩트에서 3팀을 선정하였으며,

선정된 Rookie 3팀에게는 Noise Mob과 같은 무대에 설 수 있는 기회와 함께 같이 음악적인 고민

을 나눌 수 있는 토크쇼 시간을 제공한다.
