It's Relent's birthday! I thought it'd be a fantastic occasion to bring his finished reference with the main outfit. Relent is my eladrin/air genasi druid/cleric

I have had this one in the works forever, and ended up changing the palette very recently. I'm much more satisfied with this new one. I'm still figuring out this new style for references, and I'm pretty satisfied with this one! What do you think? (also, feel free to ask anything about Relé- I love bday q&as!)

Back in September, the two swords I made had a good reception, and I've been itching ever since to design more weapons. This one here is just my attempt to scratch that itch. Is this something you'd like to see more from me?

A sword forged in crystal, with the uncanny ability of fixing itself upon break and the ability to reform into a plethora of shapes. However, those who dare handle it will face the meddling of a watcher, a crystalline undead creature. Said being has seen the weapon pass countless of times as inheritance, and had never managed to get in proper touch with any of them. Most discarded their voice as hallucinations, or early signs of dementia. That was up until the last of the heirs got her hands on it: She saw the spirit trapped into the sword as it was, and made a pact with them, seeking their help in exchange for their eventual freedom. Neither of the two expected a deep friendship to come from such deal, though.

So, I’m going to be partaking in Swordtember! Kinda! I’ll probably just do a few as inspiration comes. For the first prompt, I decided it was time to polish the design for my partner’s roguelock sword, Ilthar'Anyeld. Cursed swords definitely benefit from curious adventurers, making Hexblades proliferate comfortably~

Hello! Today I bring a long-awaited reference, starring Arcien Yu'Yden (they/them), my tiefling/drow wizard! I haven't drawn them in a bit, but they've always been one of my faves. Yden has been filling a very different role in my campaign (where they're morally very questionable) vs the campaign Yxala is in (where they get to be chiller and a fairly nice parent). I love exploring what a character could've been like in different conditions. However, only the first version gets the cool crystal arm artefact! (Also, feel free to ask any question you may have about them, I love answering those!)  As usual, reblogs are super appreciated! References like this are always very hard to get done

Salros, a warlock tiefling with starry motifs all over, as a commission for @/stillplayinghouse!

This picture has taken me months to get done but I think I'm really pleased with the result, despite how challenging it was! Salros is just a perfect match for my usual aesthetics  I got to designs some new bits for the character, such as the coat and the book, which I did have a lot of fun with! Also, Salros has some drow blood in him, which means it also counts for day 2 of drowcember (Arcane)

Cinder Tiefling! With probably a bit of Fire Genasi going on in her bloodline, too~ 

I’m selling her as my first official adoptable ever! 150 bucks will give you full rights to use her in whatever means you’d like. I’ll get you the full resolution picture and a transparent version too. This is also a fully original design, with no re-used base or pose or whatever- I’ve actually poured a lot of love on this one! I hope she can find a good home!

Watchers -undead creatures of crystal- are often a tad too chaotic to adapt to humanoid constraints. In an attempt to fix this, artificial bodies have been designed for them. These mannequins of sorts are possessed by watchers, and used for a plethora of means. When crammed into a full armor, not many can tell them apart from living beings, which makes them handy for the furthering of certain plots.

Hi! Today I bring some concept art and sketches for Gharmyra! The first one is one of these armored mannequins, donning a mask. The party found out some worrying truths about it- Such as the fact it was someone unwillingly made into an undead, and forced to serve its enemies. The other two are different explorations on what could these mannequins look like under the armor. Which approach do you like best?

Also, these are all drow creations, so I'm absolutely counting them for drowcember. Undead drow put into mannequins are still drow-- (as always, reblogs are much appreciated!)

Crystal and smoke were possibly the most defining traits of Relent, together with the branches that revealed his fey heritage. He was, not unlike many others in the world, the product of several Extraplanar energies meeting into a single being. These sort of confluences were meant to happen in a city that had left behind the fear of the unknown.

I don't have much else to say about it, other than mentioning we finally rescued Relé and Yxala (my PC) being really excited about having one of her partners back. Maybe someone was mean to one of her partners, so she’s now coming to right a wrong-

They had been assigned one purpose: To make people happy, no matter the cost. What happiness meant was, however, heavily twisted by their superior. Making use of Ataraxia, an ancient supercomputer powered by the remains of celestial beings, The Onirist managed to get fine control of those bearing a micro-chip. For the most part, they were convinced this was legitimately making people happy. But every now and then, they saw glimpses of the puppet strings leading all their actions, and they slowly realized something was wrong. Very, very wrong.

Hello! Here's the BBEG card I made for The Onirist/Urion, to match the ones made for the other baddies! I wanted to show a bit of Ataraxia in the background (fleshiness included). They've now cut the golden threads, and no longer respond to Solaralith, but Ataraxia itself has deemed them a fitting vessel. Alas, poor Urion!

This hair meme was circulating through the Secret Satan discord, so I filled it with Urion/The Onirist : ) It’s sketchy and messy but I really wanted to show a variety of hairstyles, some featuring their natural hair, and some including box braids and such

Their natural hair color is actually the long/short one, which is a silverish tone, meant to reflect their bismuth nature (As they’re an Earth Genasi). It turns more colorful when exposed to heat/oxidized (like being near Yxala or Relent), since bismuth gets its colors from heat. In the last two versions, it reverts to a white more akin to their drow heritage, mostly due to malnutrition and their body conserving its metalness for the bones and such, which does mean the hair isn’t reflecting their bismuth
