Hello I just started watching spy×family and OMG IT CAN TOTALLY BE A GREAT LB FAMILY AU?!!!!

Okay first of all - WELCOME TO THE SXF FAM BISH

Secondly, OMG YES PLEASE 😭

Max could be Anya, obviously

I'm a teeny bit conflicted about Loid and Yor ofc. The first time I watched SxF, Yor was Magnus and Loid was Alec for me, but the more I watch SxF, Loid!Magnus and Yor!Alec makes more sense to me.

Yor!Alec because. Well. Strong but himbo? Autistic coded? Bad at cooking? Fiercely protective of their family? Has made/willing to make sacrifices for their sibling(s)? Can go from cute blushy face to THIS

in a matter of seconds?

That's Alec alright

(And as a neat little bonus, Yor!Alec gives me dark Alec and you know I have a weakness for that 😋)

At the same time I love the idea of a soft (but also a sexy assasin) Magnus :') sue me

Buuuut I also feel like Loid aligns more closely with Canon (Book) Magnus. The interior, at least not the party loving glittery exterior. The one who had to surrender the name and identity he was born with. The problem solver. The mirrorball (I can change everything about me to fit in, etc etc). The one who keeps telling himself don't get attached and gets attached anyway. You know what I mean?

I think if I ever wrote a SxF AU, I'd go for Loid!Magnus and Yor!Alec, but I'll always have a soft spot for soft assassin Magnus and emotionally constipated spy Alec in my heart 🥺
