They're right, they could have had a terrible outcome because the FIA is really lazy with the safety that matters. They spend time harping on fire proof underwear and jewelry but when it comes to cranes on track where's that same energy? This shouldn't be happening especially after all this time
idc what you think, but it’s actually so vile for the post race interviewer to literally go “charles got a five second penalty. max come back” IN FRONT of charles and consistently just emphasize his penalty to his face. i’m actually so ill there’s no fucking way you just do that
Literally every driver they've spoken to said how dangerous the tractors were and how no matter how fast you go it's ALWAYS a hazard especially in such conditions and yet people with no practical experience with current F1 cars are STILL arguing that Pierre was driving too quickly and don't seem interested at all in reviewing the situation and correcting whatever command mistake allowed the tractors to be deployed in the first place. They're discussing it like it's some purely hypothetical debate and not a very real situation. "It's his opinion", he says about Lando's outrage that a life was lost this way and could have ended another one this time around too. "There's two side of this debate" Is there though? It's easy for them to judge on top of their high tower, like the drivers are toys and not living, breathing people.
And I'm not sure they ever will fully see them as humans. God fucking dammit.
