Four Disabled Queers In Need of Food and Prescriptions

It's been another one of those weeks where emergencies and catastrophes have hit our household back to back to back without a single moment for us to breathe. My in-laws are still struggling with finding work and car problems have continued to hit them over and over. The kids finally have solid employment, but are still without their car and having to put a lot of money into repairs.

We thought this month was going to be tight, but at least set, and then a family emergency last weekend sent us on a 16hr drive across three states and absolutely drained us of anything we had left.

Our fridge and cabinets are empty, our pets are running low on food, I'm a week off my testosterone, and my partner and I only have a few days left of our antidepressants.

We could desperately use a little help to get us through the rest of the month until we get another paycheck on the 1st. If folks have anything they can spare to help us, it would mean so much to us

4 broke disabled queers who need RX's and groceries

it's been really rough these past few weeks. it feels like everything is falling apart and our collective household's ability to cope with it all is dwindling, not helped by the fact that all four of us are either severally under-medicated or completely unmedicated right now. i'm personally in need of both my HRT and SSRI. my roommate and i have been picking up some delivery/gig jobs here and there, but can only do that during the hours we have a car available to us and it doesn't bring in a lot. some of our rent money for the end of the month has already been skimmed off so we could put bread and rice in the cabinets, which means our grocery budget from our next paycheck is prematurely shrunk in order to make that back, and that's still a week away.

anything folks have to spare means the entire world to us and will help us breathe a lot easier the rest of this month. <3

i really do not want to do this again, and especially not so soon, but uh. things are very awful at home for me rn. once again my mom and i have no source of transportation (long story. the situation with my stepfather has taken a turn for the worse) and my phone bill and our payment for the lights are due in the next couple of days. i really do not want to do this but i feel i have no choice. if anyone can help (and i understand if you don’t want to), i will be forever grateful. you all have been so amazing and really, if y’all want any sort of exchange of fic/art/what have you, just let me know. thank you all so much and i truly am sorry for having to do this again.
