CW: loneliness, sadness Your Honor, this may be old - but I stand by it. Some people talk to themselves. Alone inside his hell, Avior did: mutters never meant to be heard by anyone. Or softly recited a litany of all the wonderful things Starlight could do now they were free: the stargazing, fireplaces, silly netflix marathons, coffee shops, bookstores… no matter that they had once planned to see it all together. How happy they would be, at least. Other days, he could only whisper how much he missed them. On the worst days? On those - he just sat there in silence. In their unanswering, unknowing, timeless companionship. And then he would sink his head into his hands and wonder how much more he could take.
