That's a really smart question, haha. I'd tell them about getting back to Bollywood content be it movies, songs. I'd tell them about my time in hostel. And that now I can recite some common hymns (before I really considered myself as an atheist but the more I learn about my religion, the more I fall in love with it, you know how it is)

04.05.2023 & 05.05.2023 • THURSDAY & FRIDAY
I spent the morning on 4th sitting in Starbucks and studying because I couldn't concentrate at home. Then came home, felt a bit ill so went to the doc's, gave a mock test and then studied.
Today, spent the day studying for UGEE, since I have the exam tomorrow. Trying not to pin too many hopes on it atm. Just focusing on the process.

Tried out the instant bibimbap and it was so good...but the packaging,,,eye pretend I do not see it...
Anyway, I washed the bowl and the plastic container which held the rice so I could reuse it as a two-tier charger case. 🤓
I lined the inside of the base cup with excess baking sheet I cut by accident lol. I love the very Asian feel this corner gives me.
Yes the case smells like bibimbap but the baking sheet is enough protection for me :)) Is it weird that I don’t mind the smell? It’s better than allowing this unit to end up in a landfill :(
I didn’t have internet during the long weekend last week, which was alright since I didn’t have any class. It sucked to not have it but it forced me to do my readings AND clean my desk. It was nice to study my book and stuff ngl!! This was probably the first time I felt like I genuinely studied and learned something.
I also cleaned my room last week and moved my bed around to address my backache. I did feel guilty too given that my room is just unnecessarily large, and the idea of me having so much room is just...wack because of how many people need shelter right now after the typhoon. I guess I just can’t help but feel guilty.
It’s just sad how people who call out people don’t think twice before they say stuff. There’s just a lot of layers when it comes to things so I do hope people can just calm down or at least be a bit more open-minded. I am reminded of people being like if you don’t post you don’t care etc., but like huh?? We’re all going at our own pace and what is important is that we’re trying to be better and to not allow our privilege to blind us or allow us to be insensitive. I don’t like how being woke or not being a dick is somewhat a competition nowadays, intentional or unintentional.
Someday I will be able to help instead of being stuck here. For now, I just feel useless at times. hays.

so i’m using this blog again apparently! a lot has changed in the past few months & i’m in a weird headspace. i feel like not having a creative space to keep me accountable has been pretty detrimental to my mental health recently & maybe developing it here over winter break will be therapeutic.
like i said in my previous post, the blog is going to be less study / academics-focused and more of a journal space for multimedia creative content. jynsdesk has been fun but i’m at a point in life where i need a different approach to this blog. i don’t expect everyone to remain a follower given the changes i’m making + my hiatus but thank you to those of you who have in the past, and those of you who continue to do so ✨

I know chem is super difficult sometimes but you can do it!! try pretending that you're the cool scientist from your fave tv show or something and take it one step at a time. khan academy might be helpful, or even crash course depending on the topics you're studying. good luck & be strong!! :D

went to school today for practicals again, this time chemistry. i really hate the lab assistant tho 😒. ANYHOO, loved doing the salt analysis, though it was confusing AF. so came home and partially watched a video for salt analysis. i will try to finish it off tomorrow.
i will try to wake up early tomorrow as well.

had the sh*ttiest day of all time. and the ridiculous thing is – i have no specific reason. anyways, i had some appointments today so attended those, and then i just did journal work for the rest of the day.
currently all i want to do is sleep ans avoid my problems by sleeping :)
yesterday was kinda uneventful because i went to school after 20ish days and it was suchhhh a waste of timeee ughh i shouldn't have gone.
anyhoo, i wasn't able to reach my goal of finishing journal work by saturday, because i have like 50 pages of chemsitry journal left and 20 pages for math. :)
this turned into a bit of a journal entry so yeah ignore XD
