Tumblr media
Left. Left. Left. Left. Pause. Left. Left. Left. Left.
“(Name)!”
Yunjin offers no warning when her hands move to claw at your shoulders, intent on startling you without sparing a thought on your poor phone that had jumped out of your hands.
When you scare, she laughs, open-mouthed and loud as she plops herself on the spot next to you on your dorm’s mini couch. “You should’ve seen the look on your face.”
“Honestly, how do you even do that? I barely heard you walk into the living room!” You grumble.
You spare her a glance and notice she’s too dressed up to be staying the night in–white crop top that sits just above her hips with some low rise jeans to accentuate her features. Her hair is curled on the ends, recently dyed black and styled to look a little messy.
She must be going out.
Though you try not to think about it, the amount of times Yunjin goes out with her friends in a week is a constant reminder of how pathetic your social life is. While it didn’t quite bother you enough to accept her invite, it’d be nice to leave your dorm once in a while. It’s just that you haven’t found anyone you really clicked with like Yunjin.
“What are you doing?” She cranes her neck to try and see what you were so busy with that you didn’t see her from your peripheral vision.
You show her the app with no shame. It only makes her laugh tenfold, hands clutching her stomach with her head thrown back as if she wasn’t the one who had suggested you download it in the first place.
“Yunjin, this is stupid. I’ve only had this downloaded for a day and I already feel sick.” You groan, throwing your phone down in the space between you. Though, maybe you should’ve thought twice about that when Yunjin decides to grab so she can have a go herself – swiping left and left and left and… oh?
“What about him?” You curl into her side, peering over your phone.
Oh, he’s pretty cute. Lee Felix?
“He added dog lover. You love dogs and… music?” She goes over his interests quickly, eyes scanning his profile like a pro. You suppose it’s because she’s used to it, quick to read a guy’s intentions just by their Tinder profile.
“I like assembling computers. Oh, this guy’s a dork, you’d love him.”
Right.
It’s a match!
“Yunjin!” You shift in your seat, immediately grabbing your phone from her grip before she can do any further damage. Sure, you had humored yourself into downloading the app for Yunjin but you never thought of actually swiping right for anyone.
“What? He’s cute, and you matched!” She giggles, trying to grab your phone back so she can craft you the perfect first message.
She knows you won’t do it yourself.
You lock your phone before she has a chance to do anything stupid, shaking your head in reprimand. “I know what you’re trying to do and it’s not happening.”
She simply smiles at you, shrugging her shoulders and calling it a day for her trial in meddling with your love life. “Well, I tried. Alright, I have to go. I’ll be back late, you sure you don’t wanna come with?”
You return the smile, shaking your head as you drop yourself to lay down on the entirety of the couch once your roommate gets up. “I think my computer parts are coming in today so I have to be here to sign off the delivery.”
“Nerd.” She snorts, waving you goodbye and locking the door behind her. It’s your cue to grab your laptop and continue binging that new drama that had just been released.
This is your ordinary Friday night, curled up on the sofa with your most comfortable blanket and your laptop on your lap. Despite the desire to socialize sometimes, you think nothing else really goes above wearing your favorite PJs and eating snacks without guilt as the opening song of your new drama plays.
Though, you only get to finish one episode when your doorbell rings, and you waltz yourself to your front door to happily accept the package sent by your parents. They had won it as one of the raffle prizes in a foreign business trip, and since your parents had no use for a computer, they decided to ship it off to you. “Could help with college,” is what your dad says.
It’s only when multiple boxes come rolling in when you realize one small problem. You don’t know how to fucking assemble a computer, and you doubt Yunjin would know how either.
“That’s it. If you could please sign here, here, and here.” The mailman still sounds enthusiastic despite having done hours of his shift already, and you comply immediately as to not add on to the downpour of stress that’s handed to them every single day.
When you shut your door, you quickly turn around to stare at the multitude of boxes on the ground. Maybe Beomgyu would know how? He looks like he’d know a thing or two about computers. So, you shoot him a text.
Turns out, he doesn’t know how. And he’s currently scamming Yeonjun out of a free dinner, and so even though he tells you he’ll try to be there, you know he probably won’t arrive (unless to laugh at your situation).
You think, maybe you can just go to the Computer Engineering department and ask someone to help you, but could you risk socializing with numerous college students face to face? Absolutely the fuck not.
You’ve just about given up when your head strikes an idea and your back immediately straightens in posture at the stupid thought. “Should I?”
You rush towards where you had left your phone, letting out a sigh as you stare at the one person on your Match list. Lee Felix who likes assembling computers.
Lovely fucking timing.
Fumbling with the device, you finally decide to shoot him a message. What are the odds of him responding, anyway?
You’re tempted to throw your phone while waiting for his response, though your plan goes down the drain in a second when he responds almost immediately.
yn (6:03pm): hello!
felix (6:04pm): hey! i didn’t think you would message first :))
yn (6:06pm): oh, i’m sorry i hope you don’t get my intentions wrong. it’s just that … my parents sent over some computer parts and i rly don’t know how to assemble a computer
yn (6:06pm): i know it’s kind of random, but could u possibly help me by any chance?
yn (6:07pm): i don’t rly know anyone who knows how to and you’re the only person that came to mind
You cringe at yourself for triple messaging, face visibly scrunching as you let out a pained noise. And then he replies, and your hand shoots to grab your phone and stare at his message.
“Yeah, why not?” is what he replies, followed by where he should meet you. Is it a good idea to invite a stranger to your dorm? Probably not, but you can’t possibly assemble your computer somewhere else and bring it back to your dorms. So, you tell him to meet you at a cafe nearby – to test out the waters and see if he isn’t some variant of a serial killer.
“Be there in 15,” is his next reply.
15 minutes?!
You look down at yourself in sudden panic, still clad in a big shirt and some shorts. How were you supposed to pick something decent to wear in 15 minutes without Yunjin? You suppose could facetime her but you know it takes her hours to even decide on what to wear for herself.
Bringing your feet towards your closet, you say a silent prayer and start picking out what to wear for yourself. While this wasn’t technically a date, Lee Felix from Tinder is still fucking cute and you would hate for him to think he got scammed into swiping right on you.
You double check yourself in the mirror, chewing at your lips thoughtfully before sighing out in approval. At least you looked as if you put some sort of effort into what you’re wearing. That should be good enough in itself.
The nerve of meeting an entirely new person begins to set in when you repeatedly dart your eyes from the coffee shop back to your phone to try and see if anyone who looked like Felix was in the coffee shop. It’s like watching a game of ping pong the way you repeatedly look back and forth. And when it seems that no one with long black hair is here yet, you take it upon yourself to take a seat by the window where he can find you easily.
The scraping of the chair catches your attention, and holy fuck. Lee Felix is not a catfish. He is way far from it, and you think you might’ve lucked out when he takes the seat in front of you.
“Sorry, I hope I didn’t startle you.” Deep, thick accent. It feels like shots of espresso when he speaks and it physically manifests goosebumps from you. You shake your head, telling him you’re fine. “(Name), right?”
He smiles, and it feels like your whole world stops.
“Uh, yeah. You must be Felix?” The man in question nods his head, reaching out to shake your hand and the gesture has your cheeks flushing. It’s an act of basic human decency, but can you really be blamed for acting like a shy little school girl when someone as beautiful as Felix is sitting and talking to you.
The coffee shop is still bustling, and everyone around you converses as if the most beautiful man hadn’t just stepped foot into the coffee shop. The freckles sitting just below his eyes look like constellations, and his black hair is styled just messy enough to achieve the hot boy who doesn’t know he’s hot look.
“Do you want some coffee before I set your computer up?” You shake your head, suddenly feeling shy.
Instead, you tell him to get whatever he wants so you don’t feel guilty enough for taking time out of his evening just to assemble your computer. He accepts your promise in pretense, but he comes back with his order and a few pastries and it’s clear he’s already paid for it from the way he ignores any mention of how much it cost.
“I didn’t know what you preferred, so I got a bit of everything.” There’s a crinkle just at the corner of his eyes when he smiles, sitting back down adjacent of you as he pushes the plate closer to you.
You look at the array of pastries, a little hesitant. “Please don’t feel shy. Here, let’s take one together.”
He grabs a cookie from the platter, and you shyly follow by grabbing a strawberry muffin.
“Mmm, strawberry muffin. Very good choice.” Felix comments, watching you closely as you take a bite out of the muffin. “Is it good?”
Your eyes widen in delight, nodding your head as you chew slowly. “So good.”
Your words come out as a mumble, and it triggers a sweet laugh out of Felix. You feel familiar, the way you smile with your eyes and close them shut to savor the taste.
“You’re cute.” He says unabashedly, as if his words won’t cause drastic consequences.
A chunk gets stuck on your throat.
Felix is quick to hand you a glass of water when you start choking, rushing to stand by your side. You would’ve hoped the first skinship for the evening would be handholding, and not repeated pats on your back to remedy your choking.
“Are you okay?” His hand is still on your back, gently running small circles as he leans down to check on you. You think you might start choking again if he keeps looking at you like that, 1080p view of his eyelashes and the specs splashing his irises.
“Mhm, sorry.” You put the glass down, refusing to meet his eyes as he remains hovering over you. You want to leave out of embarrassment. He notices your silence, notices the way you cross your arms in mock defense.
“Don’t worry, I still think you’re cute.” There’s a smirk on his face. You can tell without even looking up at him. “I’ll take these out.”
He says it so casually, as if he’s simply asking about your day. His outward flirty-ness is new, but it isn’t unwelcome.
“Ready to go?”
With the plastic bag in his hand and his order in a takeout cup, you sigh gratefully. “Yeah.”
The walk to your dorm is short, but it’s spent in conversation. Lee Felix is talkative, has lots of stories to offer. Whatever it takes to make you laugh.
You like that about him. You like that you don’t have to talk so much. He doesn’t even force a comment out of you. Just needs to know you’re listening.
So you do. You listen intently as he shares pieces of his life with you—his friends, his course, games he plays. He’s chatty, and the way he smiles with every word reminds you of a cat. Deep whiskers and crescent eyes.
“So, really, this is a great way to end the day, assembling a pretty girl’s computer.”
His mouth drops a little when he realizes he’d vocalized the latter part of his sentence, yet he doesn’t make a move to take it back. You are pretty, one of the prettiest he’s ever seen. And the blush on your face is well worth the slip of his tongue.
“As long as you’re sure this isn’t a hassle.” You mumble, looking down at your feet as you reach your building.
That you aren’t getting anything out of this.
Though, before you can step forward, you’re tugged back to where Felix is standing. He’s holding your hand now, grabbing your full attention. “I promise this isn’t a bother.”
The way he looks at you answers your silent question—he doesn’t mind that you’re simply asking for his help without any intention.
“I enjoy building computers, especially with good company. You don’t even have to do anything. Just sit there and be yourself.”
“Okay. Thank you.” He squeezes your hand for extra measure, allowing you to drag him to your dorm room.
True to his word, Felix doesn’t so much as let you lift a finger. You stay seated on the couch, watching as he sets to work on the floor. From time to time, he’d tell you what he’s doing. Something about screwing some parts in and a mother board? You don’t understand much, but you listen as much as you can.
“Tell me about yourself.” Felix looks up from his work, and your eyes widen a little at the boy’s sudden request.
You’re sure you’re simply imagining the gentle interest in his eyes. “Hm?” You ask him to repeat himself, even though you heard him loud and clear.
“I’ve been yapping about myself all night. I wanna know more about you.” He teases.
“What do you want to know?”
“Anything. Everything.”
“Soooo… do I start with the year I was born?” You laugh when he throws you a look, quick to throw your hands in the air in mock surrender. “Joking, joking.”
“You’re an interesting girl, (Name).” Felix grins, locking eyes with you for a second and a half before turning back to his work.
“There’s nothing much to me, really. I go to school and go home and that’s about it. I just try and survive college the best I can.”
He shoots you a disapproving look. “Well, I beg to differ.”
“What do you mean?” You bring your legs up on the couch, sitting cross-legged as you wait for what he had to say.
“For one, your eyes lit up when I talked about Chan’s Pokemon collection, or how Seungmin is obsessed with Kdramas.” He points out, reaching for his takeout drink and taking a few large gulps. “And you smiled when I mentioned the little chicken plush I own.”
You don’t expect Felix to notice any of this, and the thought that he did has a blush fighting to creep up your face.
You grab a throw pillow to hide behind.
“Oh, and you like strawberry muffins. So, I’d say there’s a lot to you. And I’m hoping to learn everything more.”
You have to force your eyes to look away from him in fear that your flustered cheeks would appear too obvious to the boy. Though, if he’d noticed the mere brightening of your eyes, you’re sure he’s already caught on to the silly schoolgirl smile on your lips.
“Stop looking at me.” You mumble, burying your face in your pillow. All you can hear is his sweet laughter.
“Come here, I’m just about done.”
You clap your hands in small when he turns on your computer, fully functioning and fully assembled. It surprises you how a task that would’ve taken you 6 hours is done in under 2 by Felix. Even more that it didn’t even feel like two hours.
You suppose that’s just the thing with Felix. He makes it so that time disappears with the whole night sky in his eyes—the moon for eyes and stars littering his face.
“Thank you, Felix. Like really.” He dismisses you, telling you it was nothing. The satisfaction on your face is enough compensation for his work.
There’s a few do’s and don’t’s that he mentions, and you try to list them down the best you can.
“Or, I can just text it to you?”
You pause mid-writing, looking up at him. “Sure, that’s… that’s fine with me.”
You’re unsure of how to say goodbye to him after giving him your number, unsure even of how you can make it up to him for the 3 hours you’d taken away from him. If it were anyone else, you would’ve said it in ease, so you don’t know why you can’t do the same for Felix.
It’s different with him because you don’t want to say goodbye. You could go hours longer listening to him and watching him assemble your computer. Though, before you can contemplate to do anything, Felix interrupts your inner monologue.
“Actually, I have an idea on how you can make it up to me.”
You look up at him expectantly, and you see the hint of a smirk tracing on his features.
“Let me take you out on a date. A real one.”
“A date?” You stutter.
“I know you said you texted me just because I could fix up computers, but I really enjoyed talking to you today.” He’s holding back a smile. “So, what do you say?”
“Okay.” His eyes light up, glazed with happiness as he processes your response.
“Okay? As in, I can take you out on a real date?”
“Yes.”
Felix can feel something sweet in his heart, can feel it flutter like it’s being squeezed. To his surprise, you’d actually agreed, and the genuine excitement in his smile is too wholesome to not stare at.
“So… goodnight then?”
“Goodnight.”
“I’ll text you?”
“Okay. I’ll be waiting.”
Felix fixes you with a look one last time, almost romantic with the soft glaze in his eyes. And then he’s stumbling out into your hallway.
With a second glance, he turns his back away from you and walks away. You can’t help but still feel the warmth of his smile.
You feel a compelling force telling you you’ll see much more of Lee Felix in the near future.

pairing : felix x gn!reader
summary : early mornings with your boyfriend
wc : 913
cw : fluff, mentions of insecurities, just rambling abt being in love idk, not proofread
a/n : i got very inspired by the book im reading rn so i wrote this lil thing in an hour lol let me know what you think!! likes + reblogs appreciated <3
You lay next to your boyfriend, Felix, who was flat on his back with an arm wrapped around your shoulder. You’re laying on your side, pressing against him with a leg over his as the morning light creeps behind the curtains, coloring Felix’s face in an iridescent glow. Days like this were your favorite, where it was only you, Felix, and the quiet early mornings that lazed around with you til one of you decided it was time to get up.
Your eyes study Felix’s features, drinking up each detail of him for the millionth time as he scrolls through whatever social media app caught his attention today. His eyes were dark as the universes’ vast skies, yet they were not void of life or hope, his eyes gleaming as if God stepped down and personally hung the stars in his coffee eyes. It was as if his freckles were each gingerly placed down with the tender and steady hand of a painter, one whose precision and attention to detail you thanked every day for blessing you with this angelic sight, one your earthly eyes would never be able to fully appreciate. He was too grand for any being on this planet, not even those with the finest tastes and have witnessed all the luxuries of the world would ever understand just how artisanal he was.
Your fingers trace down his cheekbones, eyes wandering just below his jaw where an emerald vein glowed beneath his skin, just like a photograph of lightning striking down. It was silly, you thought to yourself, it was silly to have found yourself so hopelessly in love with a boy that now you couldn’t help but compare his beauty to the cosmos and world around you. His very being emanated an ethereal energy that you wish you could compare to, one you alway felt you constantly felt short to, but you prayed under hushed incantations that you’d be able to bask under it for the rest of your life.
Was it obsessive? Was it almost biblical the way you found yourself revering him? Probably, but you were too lovesick to ever question it, finding yourself trapped in his orbit, though you wouldn’t have it any other way. For years, scholars in the olden days questioned whether the sun revolved around us, but you quickly found the answer in a matter of seconds the day you met Felix. How pitiful, you thought, all they had to ever do was fall in love to answer that question, but they were too nose deep into their mathematical equations to ever recognize such an obvious truth of life.
“You okay, love?” His deep voice breaks you out of your trance, an amused smile playing onto his lips as he glances down at your lovestruck state.
“Better than okay,” you reply, a flustering heat racing to your cheeks, feeling shy that he had — once again — caught you admiring him.
He drops his phone to his side as he languidly reaches his other arm over you, squeezing you into a tight embrace as he presses a chaste kiss on your forehead, “Can I know what you’re thinking about?” he asks in a hushed whisper, his lips next to your ears, sending shivers down your spine.
A soft chuckle escapes you at his sudden affection, only deepening your embarrassment, “Only for a kiss,” you tease, still giggling as he peels his face away from the crook of your neck with a feigned expression of betrayal.
“Oh? I didn’t know my kisses became a form of currency now,” nonetheless, through his candied smile, he leans down to place a loving peck on your lips, lingering for a moment before pulling away, “Alright, pay up now. I did my side of the bargain,” he jokes.
You roll your eyes playfully, your heart bursting at its seams, struggling to contain the overwhelming amount of love it was just attacked with. “Fine, fine. I was just admiring how handsome you are. Is that a crime?”
He chuckles shyly under your compliments, his cheeks flushing into a light pink, your words always seem to leave him defenseless. “You’re too kind to me, love,” he replies, a sad undertone seeping through his words. Despite your onslaught of adoration for him, despite how many times you have made it clear to him how irrevocably in love you were, he could never quite understand what you saw in him.
“You deserve no less,” you reply tenderly, your hands running through his hair comfortingly, sensing his insecurities bubble up just by the slight shift in his tone.
“Thank you,” he holds you tighter, his face finding itself in your shoulder once more to avoid your gaze, “I just wish I saw what you saw,” he confesses somberly.
You ponder for a moment, trying to find the right words, “I guess it’s like the sun, baby. The sun is perhaps one of the prettiest things this planet has had the privilege to witness, and it fills our bleak little planet with so much love and life.”
He hums at your words, taking them in before responding, “I think it sucks being the sun sometimes.”
“Hm, why do you say that?”
“The sun can’t see itself,” he thinks aloud, “but I guess at least it gets to see the world around it,” he releases you from his hold, laying once more on his back while looking above, “Like you, like the beauty it has to offer.”

Lee Felix
Summary ~ just me in my feels and imagining love by Lee Felix (or just some relationship headcannons I had in mind for Lee Felix)
A.N. - these just pop in my head and I write them down so they may not all be coherent but they make me feel so <3
A.N 2 - I plan on writing more for each Stray Kid member but also Ateez bc I love them with my soul but let me know who you want to see first :)
——————————————————
Angel, sunshine, love, sweetheart, bun are some names I’d personally see him calling you
My baby :((
The softest love and the most beautiful form of it too
It started with nerves, young love and shaky breaths, sweaty palms and avoiding eye contact
One of the first things he build up the courage to do was physical contact and once he got a taste the addiction became too great
Hand holding, arms around the shoulder or waist, anything to feel your skin
You visit the dorms to hang a lot and the first time you cuddled he could have cried
He love, loves physical contact and everyone knows how he is with the members but he was just so scared to touch you
Either it took him a while to build up the courage or you did it first but either way when you relaxed into his arms he felt his heart palpitate
Hugs.
Ohboy
He will never let go
He holds your head to his chest and sways a bit :((
Back to cuddling I just know he would hum his beautiful low notes and the base would carry you into dreams of him
I personally love to bake a lot but what I would love more than anything is him giving you the mixing job and saying you’re doing the most important part while he does the rest
Playing music and during the upbeat songs he would fight you with flour
And once a slow song plays he pulls you into a slow dance :(((((
Dreads going on tour once he found you
Pre-you he would love getting to see stay and would be so excited once he heard the dates
But while he hugs you at the airport he can’t keep the sobs in
He holds you so fragile yet so firm and wants to mold you into his soul so he’s never apart from you
He babbles out rejection after rejection to the members who try to talk him away from you and it hurts your heart
Bin and Chan have to come physically pry him from you and you almost start crying from how he reaches for you
It was a long year away (I’m kind of thinking of maniac tour bc that was a full year) but not without Chan and Hyunjin begging you to call off work/skip school to come to the continent they were in
He sees you sitting in the hotel room/ at the door/ on his bed/ just casually calling to him and his whole body jerks towards yours like magnets
He runs to you and as soon as you stand 2 feet away he yanks you to him, bending over so his forehead presses against the span of your neck and your head looks over his shoulder at everyone who watches with both soft smiles and watery eyes
You learn he had been having bad heartache for a while, it had been a few months and they were the roughest
He had stared at the polaroid of you in his phone case a lot, the same one that collected some tears over the time
The twin to the one in your own case that holds the same salty wetness
His whole day he carries you wherever he needs to go like a koala attached to him
You’re his heart walking outside his body and he just wants his heart back in his body :((

✧ Felix with an oral fixation who uses you as his stress relief
~ ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ~
He just always have to have his mouth on you, have something inside of his mouth and the like.
On a normal day he'll be chewing on a straw or something to keep his pretty mouth occupied but on rough days he comes into your shared apartment already letting out a deep sigh of relief with just one foot through the door. He seeks you out, immediately finding you on the couch. Without saying anything he forces himself between your legs, his head level with your chest.
"Hi baby?" You say softly waiting for a response but instead your greeted with him working your shirt up your stomach, one hand gripping your waist under your shirt and the other pushing up the fabric. When you stop him he just whines, looking up at you with big puppy dog eyes. "I said hi..." You say softly as you run your fingers through his hair.
"hi..." He mumbles and looks at you, you look at him questioningly and he sighs, settling both of his hands on your waist and putting his chin on the middle of your chest. "I'm tired-" he says and sighs again, this time leaning into your hand as you scratch his scalp. "had a rough day today, recording didn't go great so channie-hyung said we'd just come back to it tomorrow." he says and closes his eyes for a second.
You rub one hand down to his cheek, trying to get him to continue talking, wanting to relieve his frustrations. "I just don't want to disappoint anyone" he says before opening his eyes, gaze remaining downcast. "Baby, I don't think its possible for you to disappoint anyone." You said softly and tapped his cheek so he would look at you. He smiles, though small the change in his mood was still noticeable.
"Can I continue with my stress relief or do you have more questions?" He giggles and you just nod before leaning back into the couch, pressing play to resume your show. His hands begin wandering up again before your shirt eventually ends up over the top of your tits, bunched up, causing a bit of an uncomfortable sensation from the scrunched up shirt under your back. "off?" He asks you softly between the small kisses he leaves on his journey towards your nipples.
You sit up a bit and pull the shirt over your head, placing it on the back of the couch before you lean back again. One of his hands goes to the left side of your chest while his mouth latches onto your right. He lets out a loud sigh as his eyes flutter closed. The feeling of sucking on your perked nipples combined with your nails gently scratching at his scalp cause his stress to mostly melt away in an instant.
He lets out small hums every so often as he begins to fall asleep, sometimes letting out quiet, almost whisper level whines if you move to adjust yourself, not wanting to release your chest. The time between him switching sides begins to get larger and you can tell that soon he'll be asleep. Once his hand has fully stopped massaging the opposite tit and he stops the occasional nipping, the sucking gets less harsh and his humming ceases before turning into the soft yet deep breathes of sleep, you know you're stuck for at least 2 hours.
Like clockwork, once 2 hours have passed and you yourself are finally starting to drift off, the sucking begins to become consistent again and you start feeling his hips rut against the couch, looking down with half-lidded eyes you see Felix looking up at you, a small whimper falling as he pulls away and finally drops your swollen nipple.
"sorry," he says as he moves up a bit so his hips are now rutting against your cunt through your pajamas. "just can't help it. Can I use you in a different way now?"

Hey :D
May I request headcanons with bf! Felix when is a kind of some home person if you get me. I mean really calm, introverted, have few friends, carrying and love to cook sweets ^^
Aw this is so cute! Thank you for the request and I'm sorry if it's too short or if they don't make sense :((( 🫶🫶
BF! Felix w/ GN! introverted S/O.
Warnings: None? It's just fluffy headcanons.
Note: I'm an introvert so if I said anything offensive here, I promise I didn't mean it in a bad way!!!! I also held back on any introvert jokes because I know all of us introverts are not the same LMAO anyways, I hope y'all enjoy and as always, ILY. Take care 🫶
♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎
➫ I see Felix as a calm person so catch him vibing with a calm and introverted S/O.
➫ “I’m hanging out with my friend today.”
➫ Cue the “You have friends?” joke. Felix never means them in a rude way though. I just see him as a playful person (and calm), so expect a ton of jokes. Whether you’re the type to joke back with him or not, you’re both still everybody’s relationship goal.
➫ “Imagine being an extrovert.” - “Imagine being an introvert.”
➫ No but if you’re a caring person and he’s a caring person… Who cares for who?
➫ Both.
➫ Felix is feeling homesick? You’re already available and there to cheer him up in any way, giving him things that remind him of home or letting him tell stories/ swapping stories.
➫ You’re feeling down and don’t want to go outside? Felix has you covered. Your place is like his second home and so he has a spare key. If you’re a ‘hug’ type person, he’ll definitely have his arms around you until you decide you don’t want to hug any longer. If you’re not a ‘touchy’ type of person, Felix is ready to just listen to anything you have to say and offers words of encouragement and orders takeout so you won’t have to cook while you’re feeling down.
➫ I can see him also cooking for you himself. Depends on what you’re craving.
➫ You’re a homebody so dates out and about are pretty rare and once every week or two. The majority of your time spent together consists of cuddles on the couch or bed or a blanket on the floor while watching Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, or breaking out the DVD player to watch a movie or TV show you both like.
➫ Let’s not forget baking. Sweets are a must. You and Felix swap recipes and dedicate entire days to make and try each others ‘recipe of the day’.
➫ One time Felix suggested a bake off and now you two have an annual monthly bake off. But he always let’s you win so you had to get other judges to determine this. Whoever has the highest number of wins is up to you.
➫ Felix would also order for you when out at restaurants, call certain places for you, fix an order that was wrong because he knows you want to avoid the social interactions that come with getting the thing you ordered.
➫ “It’s okay, I’m fine with this.”
➫ “You paid for it. I’m going to get it corrected.”
➫ “No, seriously—” - “Sweetheart, I’m going to fix it.”
➫ Felix is not a Karen by the way!!!! He asked politely!!!!
➫ He just loves you and doesn’t want you to settle for less. ♡

[1:11 AM] The jingling of your keys was audible throughout the small apartment complex and you silently cursed as it disrupted the silence. After many attempts, you finally manage to get the door open, letting yourself and your boyfriend in. The inside of the place was warm and you wanted nothing more than to feel soft mattress beneath you after a night of partying.
“Home sweet home!” You exclaimed, putting your arms up as a way to show your excitement.
Felix makes his way towards you, wrapping his arms around your waist. He buries his head on the crook of your shoulder and inhales your scent. He always loved how you smelled. Like fresh laundry, but this time mixed with the scent of alcohol and smoke.
“You okay, Lixie?” You asked, hugging him back. Worry washed over you as you remembered that he drank more than you did tonight. The party you went to was held in honor of their tour ending and the boys couldn’t have been more happy to reach such a big milestone in their careers. In return, your boyfriend may or may not have drank more than he could for the night.
“Yes baby,” He said, his grip on you tightening. “Just really happy you’re here. Happy that I can hug you again like this. I missed you.”
Felix is nothing but loving all throughout your relationship and he has never ran out of sweet words to utter, but tonight it seemed that you felt his words more. Your heartstrings felt like they were being tugged as you listened to him mumble over and over again how much he missed you, how much he longed for your touch.
“I miss you too, Lixie.” You replied, giving him a kiss on the cheek. This makes the freckled boy smile, his heart was so full of you that he could barely call it his own. You were what occupied his mind, his heart, and his soul. Tour was fun, yes. But he admits that nothing beats the feeling of you in his arms, the feeling of security, like he was home.
“Never going on tour again.” He joked, waiting for your reaction.
This earns him a playful slap on the arm.
“Don’t say that.” You whine, looking at him sternly.
He laughs in return, his voice deep and harmonious like music. It was something you haven’t heard in such a long while. You longed for him, his voice, his touch, his gaze. Now that he’s finally here you cannot help but feel your heart be filled with so much love and so much yearning. You wanted to jump his bones and show him how much you missed him but you knew that rest was needed first. His person was tired and there was plenty of time to catch up.
“Let’s go rest, lixie.” You said, breaking off the embrace and taking his hand to lead him into your shared bedroom.
The boy gave no resistance. He let you take care of him, undress him, wash him, and dress him again. This was something he missed so much, being taken care of. He missed your tender touch and the kisses that followed as you helped him put on his nightly garments. He missed how you draped yourself around him as you two settled on the bed that you both call yours. Felix had so much to tell you, about his adventures, about the ups and the downs of catching flights and meetings fans. But tonight, he wants to savor this moment. To bask in the silence of your love. Tomorrow he’ll talk your ear off, but tonight, he’ll cuddle you up and give you kisses as he feels the tiredness seep into his bones and lull him to sleep.

: You are a an ice-woman. Nobody can come inside your heart. Your smart and you observe everyone. Nobody can fool you... nobody can let you fall for them... okay maybe not nobody...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Best Music Vibe: bloodline x pony mix)
You were a businesswoman, you never had time for any romantic-actions. You never had any interest in them, it was always: work, work , work, money and fame.
You were pretty know for your image. Many big brands wanted you because you were the 'perfect' business woman.
You actually were the perfect one and thats why it was harder for you to fall in love. You never fell in love, actually you don't even know what real love is. What is it? How does it feel? Mostly on camera people see you as an actractive frighten woman.
'Do not mess with her' as caption. But behind the curtains, you were very soft and talkactive.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Goodmorning ma'am, here is your coffee.'
'Coffee with extra milk and 2 thee spoons with sugar?'
'Yes ma'am.'
You took it from your assistent. She was the only person who know the 'real you'.
'Thank you Aurora.' you wink.
'Mine pleasure, miss.'
You went in ur office, which had the perfect view over New York. Your office was the typical 'office' you see in shows. You were wearing a black dress with much elegance.
You were sitting and writing some percentage's of the new 'hype' that got annonced past saturday. It looked very good and you were happy because of the great succes.
One day it was kind of a mess at work, so your one assistent wasn't enough. You brought one of your best workers to find a second assistent. You gave them a list with questions to ask.
After some days they found the 'perfect assistent'. You were stunned that someone actually passed the list. Tommorow you will meet the person.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You walked into the building with your suitcase, as always. Your black dress giving shape into your body. Your coat giving more elegance. You were maybe scary but you were (hella) attractive.
'Goodmorning boss.'
'Goodmorning ma'am.'
'Looking stunning as always ma'am.'
'Greeting miss.'
'Beautifull morning boss.'
You hated it when people were overfriendly. You always knew they did it to get promoted. Some people did it genuinly because they were nice and good persons, but some... you don't even want to get started.
'Goodmorning ma'am.' Aurora your assistent says.
'Goodmorning Aurora. Where is the newby?'
'He is bringing some of his supplies from downstairs.'
'Its a he? Interesting...'
'I heard his name is Lee Felix y/n.'
Only Aurora could call you by your actual name. She was your bestfriend and you both liked to gossip a bit.
'Interesting, interesting... If he is present, send him to mine office.'
'I will surely do, ma'am y/n.'
you laugh.

I am standing in a very large building. There are everywhere glass windows. I have a box between mine arms. This company is very precise i heard. I alreaddy got a hole tour of the building and where to go.
I went to the elevator and clicked on the number 70.
The trip went very slow, because it stopped at almost 70 deparments.
Finally it reached mine destinition.
'Welcome, sir. I am Aurora. I am one of the assistents of miss y/n. She requested you to enter her office.'
'Thank you.'
I putted mine box down at mine new desk. Aurora pointed at the big door. The door is all black.
I knocked on the door three times untill i heard a woman voice say: Enter.
I opened the door and saw a beautifull woman sitting behind her desk.
'Goodmorning...' she looked at her paper 'Lee Felix. You may enter.'
I was to stunned to speak, i never saw such beauty. Her eyes were shining, i can't describe what i was feeling at the moment. It was just magical.
'Mine pleasure, ma'am.'

You were strong to keep your head cool, but when you made eye-contact with him. Something inside you started beating faster.
'You can sit down.'
He sat down.
'You have gotten some information about our system, did you understand everything.'
'Yes ma'am.'
'Everyday your duty is to fill the report cards and give it to me at the end of the day.'
He nods.
'At the end of the day, i will call mine assistents in mine office. Always have the report cards with you.'
'Yes ma'am.'
'Good, welcome to the company.'
i reach out to his hand. His felt soft.
'Thank you ma'am.' he stood up from his seat. He left and closed the door.
The first interaction between you two... but not the last...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some months passed, and Lee Felix got used to the system and the way of working.
Felix got attached to your prescence. You never noticed that. He always waited for you to come and tried to get as close to you as possible.
You loved the way his pinky always touched yours.

There was a part going on at the company. They say adults can't go wild, but when you came in there, your mouth fell open. Litterly beasts, every drinks and cans. It was wild. The music was to loud, the lights were dark but bright at the same time.
There were people standing on the desk, shouting and screaming drunkly, and also singing songs false.
You came with your assistent (bestfriend) Aurora to the Office Party. It was quit easy to find a way into the crowd, because even tho they were drunk. They knew you were their boss.
'Never knew they could go wild like that.' Aurora shouted.
'I know right, they are like animals.'
You were looking around, trying to find some regular people or people you actually liked. You saw felix sitting at the bar with a drink in his hand, he was looking at the people who were dancing. He looked very handsome, his suit was so tight.
Suddenly he turned his head and you two made eye-contact. Everyone in the room stopped moving, it was just you and him in the moment. The moment that would forever last in your memory, but not in the actual world.
He came over to you while Aurora was flirting with some random worker of yours.
'Goodevening miss, its quit loud here don't you think?'
'Yes indeed, its very loud. I have the feeling that mine eardrums could explode at any moment now.'
'Are your ears hurting that much?' he asked.
'Yes, a bit.'
You never saw that coming but he covered with his hands your ears. Keeping your back close to his chest. You could feel and hear his heartbeat rising when your leaning in.
'You maybe want to go somewhere a bit quieter, miss?' he asked.
'That would wiser than staying here.'
He took your hand and leaded you towards your office.
'Thank you, Felix.'
'Its mine pleasure, miss.'
For a few moments it was quit uncomfortable the silents, but it was peacefull. You two made eye-contact from across the room. The heat was rising every moment. You could see the bulge in his pants grow bigger and bigger every second.
He walked over to you and just stood infront of you. Just staring in your eyes. Your hands placed on his chest.
'What are you planning to do?' you asked.
'Something i planned for a long time.' he said smirking.
He placed his hand on the wall which you were leaning against to. He started to kiss your jaw-line, leaving sloppy kisses behind. He started to leave hickey's on your neck.
He started to slowly undress you, throwing your clothe's on the floor. You had black lingerie on, it was beautifull. His clothe's were off before you could count to three.
You two were kissing eachother softly, just enjoying eachother scent and touch. You were walking backwards towards your desk. You jumped on your desk, pushing all your papers and document out of the way. Making sure everything is off the desk.
He gently layed you on the desk, with your arms wrapped around his neck. His fingers wandering towards your panties, gently rubbing against your clit. He could feel how wet you alreaddy were. You attached your lips with his, kissing eachother open-mouthed. Your tongue's dancing and twirling with eachother.
Your hands wandered into his underwear. Pulling his lenght out and gently stroking it. He was whimpering into your mouth. He slowly pulled your panties down. Positioning himself between your legs. You could feel the tip of his cock against your pussy.
He pushed himself into you. Looking at you with a concerned face, just to make sure your enjoying it. You pulled him into a sloppy kiss again. He slowly pumped into you, softly stroking your hair. Your hands also wandered into his hair, it was very soft. You both were moaning into eachothers mouth.
His pumping got a little bit faster. Supporting your back with his hands, making sure you are comfortable. You were about to cum, your hands gripping on his back. Your back was arched, sweat dripping from your forehead.
'I am g-going to c-cum, b-baby.' you said, trying to catch your breath.
His pace started to harsher and faster. You putted your hands behind his head, wanting to look him in the eyes. His lips were swollen, his face sweatty, his hair was wet.
You both came at the same moment. His forehead resting on yours. Gently stroking your cheek with his hand. He brought you in for a kiss again, the kiss was full of passion. Resting in eachothers arm. His chin was laying on your head. Swinging to the left and right. You felt safe, you felt loved, you felt real.
'I love you Y/N.'
You turned your head to look at him.
'I love you to Felix.'
Bringing him again for a kiss.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You both tried to keep your relationship a secret, but everyone could see the tension between you two. You two couldn't stop touching eachother.
Felix was also constantly in your office, suspicious isn't it? The desk always reminded you of that evening with him. A wonderfull memory, to caress for your entire life with him.

rendezvous ☆ felix
! : Felix is bullied when he's younger, idk how long it is but i hope long enough and not too dragged on </3, not proof-read !
# : bestie prince!felix x gn royal!reader, a robin hood moment
[💌: i am so grateful to be part of this collab, especially because i am in a mental rut and this fic is short, literally written in just a few sparse sittings, and is really gonna be the lowest of the low 🛌 anyways stay tuned for the other writers' works and ty if u decide to give mine a read T-T]
"just pick the time, i'm down, i always do."
Tumblr media
being a royal isn't all that magical. it's just annoying. you have none of your own agency, you're followed around all day, you always have to act and look perfect... it's so tiring. sure, you don't have to worry about not being able to afford things, but it sucks. living in so much wealth while others are dying sucks.
and it sucks that you can't do anything about it... except, you can. and you do. and that's your only joy in life.
your parents only trust you, their beloved royal child, with Felix. he's your best friend from another kingdom, one whom you supposedly can never marry, so it's fine if you're just harmless friends. your two kingdoms are on peaceful terms, anyway.
when Felix visits you once a week, you're allowed to leave the palace and be with him. it's the day you look forward to the most, especially because you give back to the community on this special day of the week.
there's no putting it simply. you both dress up as commoners and roam the streets, handing out large sums of money to people who need it. the money is a combination of your own allowance and the palace's money. it's almost like a robin hood situation.
"is the royal highness of this palace ready to embark on yet another adventure?" you hear Felix's deep voice behind of your bedroom.
the guard standing outside your door says, "prince Felix is here, shall i let him in?"
"of course," you say, and the doors open to reveal Felix, dressed all in white and not a single stain on hin despite riding his horse here.
"are you ready?" he asks with a grin, his blonde locks falling into his eyes.
"are you? you're not going dressed like that, are you?" you ask the boy, who shakes his head at you.
"stop playing, i know you have clothes ready for me in your closet," he says, walking over to find them for hinself.
"and what would you do without me?" you tease, also joining him in searching through your closet for some commoner's clothes, kindly donated to you by some of your servants and friends.
"i'd be living my best life," Felix says, jokingly.
you punch his shoulder lightly and he acts as though he's been shot.
"is everything okay, your highness y/n?" the guard outside asks.
"yes, don't worry! Felix is just being annoying," you say.
he sticks his tongue out at you and giggles, grabbing his clothes of choice and running to your ensuite to change.
he makes sure you're also dressed before he steps back into your room. as if you haven't already done this a million times, the two of you look at each other and laugh.
"you'd be such a heart throb commoner," you tell Felix as you fix his collar.
his cheeks turn red slightly due the proximity as he chuckles, watching your delicate fingers against his clothes.
"i'm already a heart throb now, what are you gonna do about it?!" he says after you move back, sticking his tongue out at you.
you wave him away and leave your room, getting ready to leave the palace. he follows you and the two of you talk the whole way into town.
the palace is far from town, another thing which you hate. it's to physically displace the royals from the rest and it's awful. still, you prefer getting there on-foot.
"i still can't believe some of the servants who make deliveries have to walk this long journey every day," you say to Felix, who casually pulls you away from a big hole in the path.
"it's the worst. and in the heat, too?! gosh."
silence evelops you both as you digest the moment, walking along this path with your best friend. suddenly, you start to think about how much Felix has grown up.
before, you were always defending him when you were both younger. he was always bullied for being too feminine of a prince and you despised everyone who thought so. now, he's stealing everyone's hearts with his gorgeous face and deep voice. you'd like to say you have dibs on him because you've always loved him unconditionally from the start but... why would you have dibs on your friend?
"y/n, do you know what rendezvous means?" Felix suddenly asks.
"of course i do.. it's french for appointment and means the same in english--a time and place for two people to meet," you say.
"i like that word a lot. it sounds so much better than appointment, meeting, or... well, anything else."
"well, that's random," you say.
Felix's deep laugh is contagious as you laugh along with him. you didn't realize how warm it is today, and appreciate the gentle breeze that finds you both in that moment.
"it's not random! i feel like we're having a rendezvous right now. this is our rendezvous," he explains.
for some reason, your mind goes blank. Felix turns to look at you and smiles when your eyes meet.
"and this is why you're stealing everyone's hearts," you say.
"everyone's except yours," he mumbles.
___☎️
finally, you both make it to town. it's as busy as ever with all the merchants selling their goods and people trying to bargain for a good deal.
"let's see who needs our help today," Felix whispers to you as he pulls you close.
you walk up to a stand and overhear a mother trying to bargain.
"please, i really need these herbs! my son is sick and i can't afford to pay for medicine. with these herbs, i can help him at least feel a bit better. please, i only have this much with me," the lady shows the merchant her money, but he dismisses her.
just as she turns to leave, Felix places a bag of money in her hands.
"buy the herbs, some medicine, and some good fruit. i hope your son gets better," he tells her.
she beams as she analyzes the contents of the bag.
"oh my goodness! young man, where did you get all this from?"
"don't worry about it. i can't promise i didn't steal it, but i can promise that no one will ever know," he says wirh a wink.
the lady chuckles and when she turns to pay for the herbs, both you and Felix rush off.
"i hope her son feels better," you say with a pout.
Felix pats your head. "i'm sure he'll be fine."
as you both continue to walk around, an old man calling to you both makes you turn around.
"you lovely two, would you like your fortune told? it doesn't cost much and it's very accurate!"
you and Felix look at each other.
"i don't believe in this stuff but let's give it a shot," he says.
you follow the man to his hut and he invites you to sit down.
"so, would you like to see your future in love, health, or wealth?" the man asks.
"love," Felix says without hesitation.
"ah, be careful if you are a couple," the old man says hesitantly. "if the fortune is bad, i am not responsible for a breakup!"
"ah, no, we're not a couple!" you say.
Felix's heart drops.
the old man smiles, reading the situation and after a moment of silence, reveals your fortune.
"i can see that the two of you are close friends, but there are different feelings blooming between you both. you're hesitant, wary of the other's heart. stop being so careful. your guess is right, just go for it," he says.
you choke on your own saliva and take hold of Felix's arm. "okay, that's enough! thank you, sir!"
you leave the hut and meet a Felix with a flushed face.
"hey, we're just gonna forget about that, right?" you ask, flustered.
Felix suddenly turns serious.
"and why should we?" he asks.
suddenly, his features harden. not in an angry way but in an incredibly handsome way.
"y/n, how can i just forget the fact that i've been loving you for an eternity?" he asks, reaching for your hand this time.
you feel your heart race against your chest and your pulse quickens.
struggling to find words, Felix continues speaking for you.
"i want my rendezvous with you to last a lifetime, y/n. can't we get engaged?"
you blink up at him, the pretty prince who has, unbeknown to you, stolen your heart. and just like that, everything falls into place.
as much as your robin hood rendezvous with Felix has always been about giving back to the community, it was also a lovely excuse to see Felix. Felix, your friend, your first love.
how could you say no? how could you say no to him, when you'd never in your dreams imagine him proposing to you like this?
"Felix.. you really like me? this isn't some lie just to not hurt my feelings? are you just trying to make the old man sound right?" you ask.
Felix shakes his head, caressing your cheek.
"you... don't love anyone else?"
"now why would i, y/n? we've both been silly, ignoring all the signs. let's stop it now, if you're ready," he says.
the wind picks up and it sounds as if the universe is screaming, begging for you to say yes. and that's your sign. that's the engraving of the rendezvous in the universe. an eternal rendezvous.
the second you hug Felix and rest your head on his chest, he returns your embrace and cups the back of your head.
everything finally feels right. you can see it, a future together with Felix in the kingdom where the divide between royal and commoner will no longer be so wide.

Flufftober Day 17
Encouraging s.o. to achieve a goal

You should be studying, but instead you're looking at Felix. As his eyebrows furrow softly, he browses through the cookbook and then scratches the tip of his nose, leaving a small cloud of flour behind.
You lean close to wipe away the smudge. At first, Felix is a little startled by the sudden closeness, but then he continues to watch the pages with a slightly bemused smile.
"Have you nothing better to do than to look at me?"
"Is there anything better than that?"
Felix grimaces shyly at the compliment, and you feel like your heart will burst out of your chest. How the hell could you be learning French words about love when Felix is standing in front of you, trying to bake you a cake full of love.
"I thought you said you're gonna take a test on something."
Felix's warm gaze finds your notebook by your thigh. You quickly shove it against the wall behind your back, but of course the boy notices and blinks at you, mildly puzzled.
"Fine, I have to learn French. But I can't. I'd much rather watch you. After the cake's done and we've watched the mov-"
"No, no." Felix dusts off his floury hands, walks to the tap, washes them, then firmly grabs your notebook and lays it on your lap. "You can't put it off. It never leads to anything good. I'll help you, then we can bake together."
"Alright." As Felix's face lights up with excitement, so does your enthusiasm. You open your notebook to the concepts to be learned. It's not much, really, just a mini-test, but it's still a pain to get yourself to study. Of course, now that your boyfriend is offering his services, it's a different story.
You quickly run through the words, then hand him the notebook. You're ready, let's get it over with. Felix nods, reads the meaning of a word to quiz you, and you suddenly panic as those pretty lips, reading silently, empty your short-term memory.
"What's gently?" he inquires, his eyes fixed on your face. You shake your head. You're ashamed that you can't answer even though you just saw the solution. Seeing your exasperated expression, Felix takes pity on you.
"Tendrement," he smiles encouragingly, and takes possession of your lips again as he looks at the next solution. This time it's not slow, but intense, blood-pumping, yearning. He grips your hips, presses himself tightly between your legs, his tongue as if to carve the letters he pronounces as he part your lips.
"À la folie," he whispers in your ear. Your throat is dry. Nobody said Felix's deep voice mixed with French would make you so weak. "The meaning is passionately or madly."
"It was indeed mad." You throat is like a parched desert, you clear it, searching for water. Luckily for you, there's a bottle on the other side of the counter you're sitting on, which you take into your hand.
"Can we continue?" He asks after you drink a few fresh sips.
"Un peu, a little bit. Beaucoup, very. Pas du tout, not at all. I know these," you announce, while he checks that you've got them right. Somehow you've pulled them out of the short term after all. Or maybe Felix's kiss was so effective that the words bounced enthusiastically into your long-term memory.
"You won't forget the other two?"
"I don't think so." It's totally impossible to get Felix's teaching technique out of your head the next day, you're sure. "But we can still practice a few more times. You know, just to make sure."
"Oh, of course. Glad to help." Felix's wide, excited, sweet smile makes you weak in the knee - so it's very useful for you that you are sitting right now.
Your notebook lays forgotten on the counter under Felix's palm as you reach into his hair to swallow his sweet sigh into your mouth and love him as these learned words suggest.

7:12 am. lee felix. i belong nowhere but in your arms.
he was impeccable. truthful, in beauty. irreplaceable - your heart strings pull vicious. you’re swallowed with adoration, soft like a blanket it swallows you into a timeless embrace. there was a place, inside your mind, where you could dance. dance. and be. stardust falls from the sky in glittery pillows and tufts. the stars hand him their essence, soft hands - glowing and warm to the touch. they smile upon him, thanking him. and their knuckles run over the swells of his cheeks, the tender bridge of his nose, and intermingle with the hair in his brow. you imagine he’d sat up from bed, his hand planted firmly to still him in his place - and he’d stroke the stars in the sky, their cheeks, their brow, and they would place their sweetness on his cheeks. “there’s many of us.” they’d say. frozen in great form over his eyes that shine with their light. “we’re with you.” and there they lasted, on his cheeks, his shoulders, his nose. sprinkles of starlight they left with him, and even now, you smile at the thought.
the stars have left, but the sun embraces them in it’s warmth, promising to take care of the horizon while they were away. your legs remain comfortably burrowed in the white of his comforter, your elbow keeping you propped at his side dutifully. he sleeps sweetly; even like this he remained utterly perfect. in his dreams you’d hold him still, ever awaiting your arms with a promise. cuts of warm sunlight speak in fractals on the ground and over the bed where you both lay. a single shred peaks out from beyond the blinds, it’s thin length stretches over his jaw, cupping it with grace - and the warmth in his skin beams. “even the sun wishes to greet you.” you smile, raising your wrist with purpose as your gaze washes over him. with a tremorous hand you place your thumb on the cut of sunlight, meeting it’s touch on his face and stroking it lovingly.
your cup overflows for him. your heart swells, throbs, and swallows your inside whole. what were you to do, what were you to do. it was hopeless really; the yield of love you held for him. it spills over, like a kitchen sink of cool water. breathing cannot soothe the ache within the confines of your ribcage - though you breathe in hopes of calming it. with every ounce of your being you’re afraid. you can’t let him go. you couldn’t.
your eyes tremble over his sleeping form. every time you look at him. every single time. you feel the urge to just cry. beautiful wasn’t the word, no. you must do him the justice of finding something greater. you exhale, the sun is beginning to grow in it’s golden hue. he stirs in his sleep.
“what am i to do?” you smile, the corners of your mouth wrinkling tenderly as you stroke his cheek again. as sleep leaves him with a soft goodbye, his arm stretches beneath the covers, reaching blindly for any purchase of you he could find, and rests his hand on the swell of your hip, eyes fluttering - stunning.
you lean forward, pressing your lips to his forehead between his gentle brow. he closes his eyes at the feeling, his body rolling to press close to you. “home.” you mutter against him.
“you’re home…” he mumbles.
your arm stretches over him, the crinkle of the bed like music. the sun now stretches over your arm, in it’s fractal you feel it’s warmth, and wish it a soft good morning at it’s own sweetness. you lay into the bed, not for a moment able to deny him of the safety of your arms - that of a promise. your eyes gloss over, your lips fight a losing battle to not tremble.
“i love you, but…” you swallow, he stretches his arms around your waist, his face tucking tenderly into the soft skin of your neck - his breath washing over your skin. “that would never be enough to say.” he presses his lips to the flesh of your jaw.
“you. that’s enough.”

You died.
They thought it was the end.
You live.
And it was only the beginning.
They always paint the roses red.
You despise it.
Thunder and lightning roared in the black sky as you lay inside the coffin. Hands together above your stomach with your favorite flowers and eyes closed in a deep slumber for eternity. The Prince stood a few meters away from the mourning family, his face filled with no evidence of sadness but loathe and displeasure. Hints of rain fell, and water droplets made wet circles on your red gown. They tossed red roses at you as the fire from the candles stopped burning. Lanterns were lit instead.
Your Mother was weeping with a white handkerchief to wipe her tears off as his husband remained still, staring at your lifeless body and the lord you married. They were all in despair as the rain poured harder. The priest said his condolences as the other relatives left the tomb yet seeing the Prince was more than a shock. Whispers and murmurs had his eyes followed their voices as his butler nudged him with an umbrella above his head. Your parents turned around and the lord一ashamed and scared.
“Your Highness, we should get back now,” His butler said. Your parents bowed to pay respect as the lord executed a nod. The Prince glared at him.
“It must be a heavy burden to come一”
“Leave us,” The Prince ordered, cutting your Mother’s sentence as his butler frowned in response. Your parents hesitated, even the lord. “Leave me and Y/n alone,” He ordered again.
“As you wish,” Your Father stated, gesturing the other two to follow him, yet the lord didn’t leave the Prince’s gaze.
“Your Highness the rain will pour harder anytime soon,” His butler insisted as the Prince sighed in disbelief.
“I said, leave us!” His voice was stern, and the butler immediately obliged, returning to the carriage. “Don’t wait for me and get back to the palace,”
“Yes, Your Majesty,” The butler bowed and left, even the funeral directors left the coffin open for him to see you one last time.
His footsteps became heavy each time he took a closer approach to the black coffin—one that it feels like a silver dagger pierced his chest. The sounds of grass being stepped on were heard as the rain made them fresh and soaked bit by bit. The Prince closed his eyes, forcedly shut in rage. He despised what happened to you. A harsh reality that strikes the wonder of your life and with all the pain and tears, he should have done something to save you. But he didn’t—devoured by heartbreak and anger, being forbidden to move and left to watch you die, his heart darkened.
The flowers slid away from your hands as he held them tight. Cold as ice, fragile as glass, weak as a bowing flower—his eyes never left yours. He caressed your cheek, feeling the peace of your slumber. Even in death, you are still beautiful in his eyes, but he fears what he will become when you are gone. He folded his knuckles as the veins came to hold tightly yet softened by the pain in his heart. If only he did something to protect you—only if he stepped out of the palace to talk, he never did. And it was too late, his precious red rose, gone in the hands of the man he was jealous of. His lips met your forehead—you will suffer no more but he knew someone must pay the price.
“I’ll make them regret this,” He said quietly as a tear fell from his eyes, but from sorrow and misery—his gaze turned dark, filled with hatred and regret.
The rain stopped unexpectedly as the clouds opened like curtains to reveal the big full moon directing its light on you. It was fascinating, bloody, and dark, the Prince looked up to the sky, claiming his natural form. The time he’s been waiting for, calling for taking what’s his and making them pay for what they have done to you. It was quiet and clear, the cold breeze of the wind gushing to the sadness. His brown eyes turned blood red, fangs visible on his teeth—the Prince needed to save you.
Tumblr media
A few months earlier,...
It was a normal day in the kingdom of Felly, rays of golden sunshine from dawn down to the sunset, rain mists softly—enough to nourish the grounds. A kingdom that is blessed with good resources, but cursed under the blood moon. Not too many folks talk about it in town as the royal family didn’t do any harm to the people. You were told stories before, and rumors around the kingdom that the Queen and a woman from the town gave birth on the same day in the same year. Two babies were born under a bright blood moon. One was born with immortality and one was born with a hint of royal blood.
Many believed that the royal family was cursed—they ruled the kingdom for centuries now. They were given immortality in the form of blood-sucking creatures. Others said they were blessed with that possession to maintain the goodness of their kingdom, to never make an outsider be King or Queen. To remain the order and pristine house of rules. Just like a Prince must marry a Princess, a Princess must marry a Prince. Royals are only for royals. You didn’t understand politics, you didn’t care but being a daughter of the Governor, you needed to learn them. But vampires? You were interested in that fiction.
Or so you thought, it was just fiction.
Afternoons were always spent in the garden, under the shade of an oak tree—reading fairy tales. Hardcovers with overwhelming pages amuse your entertainment. It was good for you to read, but it should be about politics and not fictitious love stories and adventures. An escape from a society filled with pressure and high standards. You never wanted other people to decide on what is going to happen in your life. But it always happens. Even if you were just reading a book. Your Mother’s head of maids is the one who brings books from the local library—some came from the towns nearby. She always tells you different stories that drown you in a world of fantasy and even make you believe in magic. But your parents tell you otherwise.
Sounds of women gushed around the mansion and the butlers were hurrying to assist the visitors. The Governor is always busy almost every afternoon as your Mother tries to make everything in order inside the household. You were told to get out of the way and study. But it seems like it doesn’t always have to be their decision to rule your life, do this and do that, study this and study that一you love art, you love reading, you love learning, but not politics. You get tired of it whenever your tutor from the other kingdom suffices. He’d told you everything but doesn’t meet your standards of the subject.
You shake your head in disappointment, you’ve been spacing out again. A great distraction from an exciting fighting scene in the middle of the ocean of two pirate ships. It was good to immerse yourself in books, nothing could beat traveling in your imagination and the author’s train of thoughts. You flipped the page to read the next chapter, wondering what happened next. It was a nice afternoon anyway, gentle heat and sunlight, the cool wind swaying with the leaves as the maids hurry for tea. It was a busy afternoon after all.
“Ah, welcome, Your Highness,” Your Father greeted the Great King and the Prince, Felid. “Thank you for visiting us in this old Chateau,” He bowed to the two with the most respect, a hand on his belly and the other one behind his back.
“Pleasure is all mine,” The King said, reaching out his hand for a shake. “I think we have a business to discuss, Governor,” The King resumed with a smile on his face.
“I believe there is,” Your Father said. “Let’s go to my office,”
“Is Y/n here?” The Prince suddenly interrupted before they could reach the stairs.
“I presume that she is,” He said. This perked the ears of the Prince, one that delighted with joy and an excited smile on his face.
“Can I see her, Father?” The Prince asked as the King chuckled with a nod.
“Well, yes, of course, Your Highness,” Your Father said with pleasure and honor. “She’s in the garden reading her old fairy tales,” He added, which made the Prince’s excitement grow.
“Why, a bookworm, that’s fascinating,” The King said, filled with amusement in the tone.
“I always tell her to read about diplomatic relations and governance but she chose a very distinguished fiction from an author’s imagination,” Your Father sighed, rubbing his temples.
“I believe it’s better than reality,” The Prince smirked. “Now then, if you’ll excuse me,”
Your Father only sighed in response, the Prince is your best friend after all and it was a privilege in the family to have the royals be a family friend. The King and the Governor had left for a meeting as your Mother sent orders to the maids while you were alone, reading in the garden一facing a horizon that leads to the sun setting down. An open field, enough to run around and play. The Prince directed his footsteps towards the oak tree, the hem of your dress was visible enough for him to notice. A color that resembles the sky and the white shade of the clouds, a mixture of the two that produces a relaxing tone for the eyes. He walked closer as he hides behind the tree, you were too indulged with the story to sense his presence. His eyes peek toward the words printed in the formal font of your book and read a few sentences before a smile crept on his lips. The Prince climbed up the tree and sat on a branch, enough to support his weight, and then;
“Hey, Y/n!!!” He beamed which made you squeal in shock. But the Prince only laughed at your priceless reaction and the way you jolted out of your spot making the book fly away.
“Your Highness!” You exclaimed, clutching your chest from the fast beating of your heart. “You scared me,”
“Did I?” He teased as you watched him hanging upside down with his forehead being exposed. “Sorry about that, I was so bored before we got here.” He said as he sat properly on the branch.
“No private classes for you today?” You asked, picking up your book a meter away.
“I asked to postpone them,” He said. “Nothing interests me nowadays, I already know them,”
“Good for you,” You sighed, taking your spot again as the Prince jumped beside you.
“You don’t have classes today I presume?” He asked, sitting beside you.
“Nah, my tutor didn’t come and I’m here reading a book the Headmistress gave me,” You smiled as the Prince leaned his head on your shoulder hugging your arm. It was normal for him to be that clingy, he is your friend for how many years after all. He was shy when you first met him at the palace when your Father claimed to be the Governor of Felly一it took a while before he warmed up to you. And that was six years ago.
“That seems to be a good book when you’re too occupied with it,” He said as you hum in response.
“Say, is The King inside talking with my Father?” You asked as he nodded, hugging your arm tighter, coming comfortable.
“The usual,” He sighs. “They are preparing the future of Felly when I become King,”
“Shouldn’t you be there at the meeting?” You asked opening the book to proceed.
“I asked if I could see you, my Father let me so here I am,” He smiled. “Why, you don’t want me here?” He teased which made you frown.
“It’s nothing like that Your Highness,” You said when he shake his head.
“Y/n, how many times do I have to repeat myself to call me Felix,” He chuckled as you smiled in response.
“Well, I must practice myself to call you that because you’re going to be King,” You said as he sat properly, hugging his knees. “Your Father might look for a bride for you,”
“Right,” He sighs. “But let’s not talk about that. It’s not going to happen anytime soon, I still have a lot of time being the Prince, yes?”
“Yes,” You smiled, leaning your back against the tree as Felix took the opportunity to lay his head on your lap. “You’re being comfortable,” You chuckled.
“I am comfortable around you,” He remarked. “So don’t mind me and continue reading, that’s an order, Milady,” He winked as you laughed, trying to get the sense of the book again.
Felix closed his eyes with a hand at the back of his neck and the other one rested on his stomach as you read. Your fingers traced his black locks, feeling the softness of the strands. It was good as your eyes scanned the words on a page while Felix lay comfortable, trying not to pursue a smile. He wouldn’t hide the fact that he always forgets his worries every time he is with you, not a single political problem comes up when he sees you smile or when he touches your hand. It feels like he couldn’t hear anything else when you speak, it was only your voice he wanted to listen to. But that doesn’t always come to exist. He knew he’d be in an arranged marriage soon and it will stop him from seeing you ever again. Sooner or later.
A sigh escaped your lips trying to figure out what was going to happen next. But his presence took your attention. The gentle sunlight was directed to his face as it shows the constellation-like freckles that cover the skin under his eyes. Soft sounds of his breathing were heard as he took a nap while lying on your lap. He is at peace and seems comfortable with his spot, one where you could see the entire galaxy in his beauty. The wind blows his hair as the strands dance with them, he looks so beautiful—even when he does nothing and sleeps there. You held your book down to cover his face, thinking that the light will distract his sleep. One fact you had learned was to let the dark seek your eyes before sleeping to have a good slumber, but it wasn’t the case for him. A smile surfaced on your lips, seeing him so quiet and demure, an ethereal sight of a young man that indicates light and hope. It made your heart pound.
Placing the closed book on the space beside you, Felix moved a bit to ease his lying position. You find it adorable as you decided to play with his soft black locks with your fingers. The Prince felt at ease and melted under your touch. He flickered his eyes open as you stroked his hair, smiling at the sight of you. The thumping of your heart is loud enough for him to hear, and the smile you have on your face is crystal clear in his sight. He could feel the warmth of your touch, one that he wanted to feel for a long period of time. It was obvious that he is so in love with the idea of you, everything about you. Six years of adorning friendship that leads to one that looks at the other full of administration and awe or it were how someone gives butterflies in their stomach even when it was only caused by the slightest thing they do. It painted memories that can be placed on an empty canvas, later filled with bright colors and nostalgia.
Felix held your hand as he placed it on his cheek. Your thumb starts to caress his soft skin and then traces the stars imprinted on his cheeks. His lips met your palm, feeling the warm touch and the skinship—it wasn’t for some best friends to do. But a spark illuminates the picture of being afraid to tell one how the other feels. His smile never faded as much as yours, and fingers interlocked within a second. Your free hand fixed his bangs that made his smile grow bigger. A sweet gesture that made his heart beat go wild.
“I’m going to melt, Y/n,” Felix said as you chuckled in response.
“Says the one who stares at me the way I stare at them,” You remarked when Felix sat up to fix his clothes. “You shouldn’t be lying on the ground, it will get that expensive fabric of yours some dirt.”
“Oh, I can’t help but be clingy with you,” He said.
“You know I love it when you’re so close to me,” You smiled. “It makes me forget about how harsh the reality it is than the ones you’ve read in books,”
“My precious Y/n,” He awed with a hand on your cheek. “You will always have me, okay? Even if I get married to someone else, I’m not leaving you behind.” You didn’t know why it hurt you when he said that. It was something like a knife being pushed inside your chest, or you wanted to shed a tear from the code. But you can’t. Six years weren’t enough for Felix either. He wanted something more than this, yet, practical is what should be followed. No other option left.
“You’re always precious to me, Your Highness,” You smiled as Felix sighed in disbelief (in a playful way).
“Y/n, it’s Felix, okay? I am Felix, for you!” He exclaimed and you just had to laugh it out with him. “But seriously, we’ve been friends for a long time,” He whined.
“Okay, okay, Felix,” You said, which made his heart want to flip inside his chest. “Felix,”
“Yes?” He gulped, not wanting to go feral with you calling his name.
“I just wanted to say your name,” You said as he softened his expression before he placed a soft kiss on your forehead and hugged you tightly.
“Just say my name,”
A few days passed by, and the same lectures were given by your private tutor. One that always happens in the small library. His classes were good enough to make you understand things, but the subject itself is the one you hate. Neat papers filled with words written with ink, books from different constitutions piled at the other side of the table. He reads a book out loud as you take notes while seated in front of your study desk. You listened diligently, trying to comprehend every word. Each sentence feels like a brick fell from tearing a tower, how many times do you have to mention it to yourself that you hate politics? But the tutor smiled at you before flipping a page on the book.
Living in this century seems to be a little weird anyway.
It was a sunny morning, your parents left early for a gathering as the Headmistress will be the one in charge of all your classes today. The tutor wanted to keep your attention in class knowing they won’t be home anytime soon but you wonder what the Prince was doing. A sigh escaped your lips as the tutor stopped in the middle of the written sentence, glancing at you. He cleared his throat and closed the book with a gentle thump, making you bite your lower lip. The pen fell on the paper after writing a period. You can’t seem to focus by then.
“Is everything alright?” He asked as you shake your head quickly.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Choi,” You said as he nodded in response which took him a few seconds before opening his mouth.
“Well, your assignments are good, I can tell how much you improved from the previous classes, very detailed learnings perhaps,” He said, clasping his hands together. “What seems to be distracting you?”
“Nothing,” You defended when he sighed, taking off his glasses and packing his things back into his bag.
“Y/n, I know you despise this class so much but your Father expects too much from you so let’s endure the pain while it lasts,” He said as you nodded gently.
“Yes, Professor,” You said quietly with a sad tone.
“Let’s call it a day and I’ll see you next week okay? I will not give you anything to write for the rest of the week but please do read these,” He answered referring to the book being piled on your table.
“Did he tell you I am a disappointment in this family?” You asked, stopping him. “Because I was born a girl and he was expecting a son, Mother can’t give birth anymore because of her health, yet they still make decisions for me without my permission,”
“I understand your sentiment in that, but being a woman is noble and learning things is powerful,” He said. “Y/n, you are never a disappointment, I believe in you, okay?”
“Thank you, Professor,” You smiled gently.
“Please, do call me Yeonjun,” He said with a smile in return. “I’ll be off now, see you next week Milady,” He added, taking a formal bow as you stood up from your seat一walking with him outside.
You stood by the door, seeing him take his carriage and left the Chateau. Another sigh escaped your lips watching him disappear from your sight. It was good to spend the mornings with Yeonjun’s political science class but what excites you the most is when your parents are out the whole day. You had the privilege to do anything you want with the maids tailing you, read tons of books一eat anything in the kitchen, horseback riding around the Chateau. It gives you peace and joy, yet the thoughts of Felix keep knocking inside your mind. The Prince must be busy with his education and training to be King someday and you were just waiting for someone to arrive and ask your hand in marriage. Yet, you always despise the idea of it.
Arranged marriages are common in the kingdom and if they were lucky, they marry for love. Felix was awed by the fact that the Prince of Minnister managed to marry the Princess of Christark instead of the one who was fixed to be his bride. Even the Prince of Targarhyun married for love, he always believed he will experience the same thing. You shake your head as you take your horse for a walk around the Chateau, it was huge enough to take a stroll. The sun was high and the wind is friendly to take a run outside. You declined reading a book, for now, it was something that makes your head think a lot of things. Being alone is what you needed the most. The dining area was too peaceful with you eating alone, even the hallways were empty and the maids had their jobs to keep.
Being the only child is not always what the others capture to be fun.
The night came and the horse of your family’s carriage neighed the way in front of the entrance as you were sitting on the window seat in your room, ended up reading the next chapter of Professor Yeonjun’s lesson. The Headmistress was standing by the front deck when you saw another carriage following yours. With knitted brows, you stayed by the window holding the curtains aside. Your parents went off the carriage first and waited for the other passengers to get off. They were all smiles and laughed when you recognized the visitors. You watch them enter the Chateau as a young man, probably the son of the family who came, had his eyes in your direction. A smirk pursues his face一there must be something going on. And that’s when you heard a knock on your door.
“Miss, the Governor, and the Lady have arrived,” One of your maids said the moment they entered your room. “You have visitors,”
“Who are they?” You asked, standing up from the seat.
“The Duke and Duchess of the West, with their son, Lord Gunil,” They said. “They’re expecting you to dinner, Milady,”
“Sure, I’ll be there,” You said, dismissing the maid as they bowed and left the room.
A sigh of disbelief escaped your lips as you look at yourself in the mirror, fearing there might be something wrong by the time you stepped inside the dining area. Taking a deep breath, you left the room with your heart beating faster一you doubt it is a thing you need to worry about. You walked out of your room with a maid and a butler behind you. They must know something, it was silent enough to bother your existence and everyone is already settled down in their seats and stood up to greet you. Excited smiles from the visitors, even your parents, it was painted with bright colors but not to Gunil. He was just staring without amusement.
“Good evening, Milady,” The Duke greeted as the Duchess and the Lord bowed.
“Good evening,” You greeted back, taking a glance at your parents who have their hopes high.
“Take a seat and have dinner, then we will discuss our agenda. Shall we?” Your Father said as everyone take their seats again.
It was only the banging sound of the silverware on the dishes that were heard as the maids served the food. Everything was all silent, no voices were meant to talk as you could feel Lord Gunil’s eyes looking at you. The Duke and Duchess started to compliment the food and your Mother was delighted. You became uncomfortable with the sudden interaction as you take as much food as possible. He could only smirk and shake his head, eating the steak on his plate. You bit your lip after swallowing your food. He is handsome, you admit yet you wonder what would Felix will think if you tell him.
“Tell me Miss Y/n, what do you do in your free time?” The Duke suddenly asked, taking your attention from the delicious food.
“I read books in the library and Professor Choi’s lectures in Political Science,” You started. “I also do horseback riding around the Chateau and play the piano,”
“Oh, that’s fascinating, our Gunil loves playing instruments as well,” The Duchess suddenly interrupted.
“I see,” You answered nervously, taking a spoon full of food.
“I guess Y/n and Lord Gunil will get along with each other well,” The Governor said as your Mother smiled in support. A quiet sigh escaped your lips when you knew where this is going to lead. “Perhaps we could discuss their engagement?”
“Engagement?” You asked as your heart sank.
“We are delighted to say that we are going to have you in a fixed marriage with our son, dear,” The Duchess said which made you stand up from your seat.
“What?!” You exclaimed out of shock and anger. “You didn’t tell me,” You said, looking at your parents as the other family watch you. Not minding the stares of disbelief.
“It was supposed to be a surprise and it is!” The Governor beamed. “I and your mother talked with the Goo family since last year and today we decided to declare it as what it is,”
“You decided this without my permission? How would you know about how I feel with this surprise of yours eh, Father?” You snapped back which made Gunil smirk again, rolling his eyes.
“Goodness, Y/n, where are your manners?” Your Mother interrupted.
“Take it easy, you do owe her an explanation.” The Duke said.
“Y/n, sit down.” The Governor said as you hissed underneath your breath and sat down against your will. “Your Mother and I, even the Goo family have been planning this marriage ever since you were born, we talked last year about this to have it official. It will be good to have a Lord as your husband一I will also be a benefit for this family and even when you are part of the Parliament.”
“Listen to your Father dear,” Your Mother said. “It’s for the strong bond,”
“You mean power,” You scoffed.
“Y/n!”
“No!” You said banging your fist on the table before jolting out of your seat一leaving the dining area. The Governor sighed in disbelief as your Mother tried to cover the embarrassment.
“Let me talk to her,” Gunil said wiping his lips and went to follow you.
“After all, I’ve done for her,” The Governor scoffed as his wife held his hand.
“Let’s give the children some time,” The Duchess said as the Duke nodded.
“Let Gunil have a chance,”
Groaning at the thought of it, a loud bang of the door closing was heard. The maid and the butler were kept out of the room when Gunil showed up a few seconds before you could shut it in front of his face. You were fuming inside, one that you wanted to blow everything away. How could they do this to you? They didn’t even tell you anything一even the marriage. You didn’t even know Gunil very well. Everything is fucked up already.
You hissed under your breath, cursing at the situation right now as your hands came attached to your waist as you walked back and forth around your room. All, expecting to be it was a sick joke but nothing! Another sigh came out from your lips for the nth time of the day, it is a surprise. It surprised you, with disappointment. But suddenly, a knock came through your door. You weren’t in the mood to take visitors again, an arranged marriage news is already too much to take.
“Who is it?” You asked.
“It’s me, Gunil,” The voice said. “May I come in?” He added, but you hesitated, still, you didn’t have a choice but let him in.
“What do you want?” You asked, not wanting to sound rude.
“I’m going to talk some sense with you,” He started as you turned away to face the window, hugging yourself from the bitterness you felt. “Listen, love, they did a mistake for not telling you sooner but even if you protest, I’m already tied up with you, yes? There’s nothing you can do to change it.” He chuckled as you roll your eyes.
“I don’t want to marry you,” You said which made him smirk.
“Too bad you can’t run away from it, love,” He said, taking a few steps towards you.
“What if I can?” You protested facing him, when he pinned you on the window, looking at your eyes with a stern expression that made your heart race in fear.
“I can’t let you get away with this,” He said with his low voice, enough to send shivers down your spine. “You are going to marry me, whether you like it or not,” He whispered before blowing gently in your ear and plastering a wicked smile before leaving your room.
You fell on your window seat, clutching your chest in response to what just happened. That Lord is a jerk and it made you hate your parents more. Your knuckles turned white from forcing them into a closed fist. This is not what you wanted for yourself, studying Political Science and being pushed towards something you don’t like is already too much. You knew you have to do something with this, a plan that might stop this madness. Tears started to form in your eyes, trying to process everything. You can’t marry that man, you just can’t.
Meanwhile, the Prince was looking at the bright moon from his balcony. The light illuminates the dark sky and the stars shining and glimmering with it. He was feeling the cold breeze of the wind as he closed his eyes, letting him take his moment of peace. Yet he still worries about something, he hadn’t seen you for days一he misses you despite his busy subjects. Not a moment he doesn’t think of you. Every day becomes more hectic than usual, the Prince has been preparing for a royal ball that will happen next month, it is a celebration for the King’s birthday一and a way for him to find a bride. A sigh escaped his lips, sharp claws started to appear on his hands as his eyes turned red and fangs grew in his teeth. He doesn’t want anything even if he already knew that he is destined to marry a princess by the end of the day, he wanted something else.
The Prince let the moon envelop his presence and make his pale skin glimmer along with stars. It always happens when the full moon strikes his body一and there’s nothing above his control. He learned that the hard way. Being a member of the royal family and being blessed by immortality is a privilege, one that it could only be done by good and use the power in anything but evil. But everyone fears what a blood-sucking creature can do. A vampire who doesn’t always satisfy his cravings enough for just animals’ blood. Not everyone in Felly is a vampire, not, but the royal family only.
Behind those gentle smiles and sense of nobility in public一even the way he looks at you and learns to control his lust for blood, the Prince is still young to learn everything. Even the King and Queen get worried, for how like a monster is seated on the throne. People believed the curse, some say they are harmless because they rule the kingdom well and there had been no casualties during the past decades. No one from the royal family risked their lives for hunger, but that someone might break the rules. And if one decided to take part in killing a human for its blood or not, they will face the consequences, even death.
The Prince looked at the moon again as his claws scratched the railings, not a moment after, his eyes shut forcefully. He wouldn’t want to end the royal family’s code. But why does your blood smell so good that he had to prevent himself from killing you? Being a good friend of his isn’t the answer. He loves you and he would never try to do anything that will make him lose you.
“Sire,” Someone said from behind him.
“Yes?” Felix answered in his deep voice. “Did you bring me any news?”
“Y/n seems to be distracted today,” Felix opened his eyes and turned around to see his spy. A vampire himself.
“Is it something I should worry about?” He asked as the man nodded.
“I believe it is about the Governor,” The man said as Felix sighed in response.
“She’ll come to me,” He said. “You can go now, Yeonjun hyung,”
“Have a good evening, Your Highness,” Yeonjun said and disappeared, leaving Felix alone. His gaze went to the Chateau from afar, the glowing lights from the windows indicated you were still awake.
“I wonder what’s happening, Y/n,” He said to himself, watching the candle lights flicker at the windows until one of them dies.
You didn’t sleep well during the past few days ever since the announcement of your engagement. Books were left eating clouds of dust in the library and the reading materials were untouched. No motivation to read anything that sparks up your imagination. It was supposed to be improving your skills in Professor Park’s lecture but nothing happened. You lie awake that one night, staring at the ceiling wondering how would you tell the Prince about this. He was hoping you’d be the one to choose who you want to marry. The maids got worried when you are not eating properly, the Governor seems unable to notice but your Mother would force you to eat. But you keep resisting and lock yourself inside your room the whole day, keeping everyone away. Silence envelopes the atmosphere at every family dinner, your Mother hesitates as the Governor is looking forward to the celebration.
A long deep sigh escaped your lips, uninterested in the new chapter the Professor was talking about. The pen ticks with the paper now and then, and Yeonjun got distracted by the damsel in distress. He watched you get bored as your face indicated how weak you were. The lecture notes he gave didn’t even leave the place where he left them last week. His eyes wander around before taking his respective seat, clearing his throat to earn your attention.
“I thought we are having a class today?” He asked.
“I’m sorry Professor,” You sighed in response. “I’m just not in the mood,”
“And by what is the cause of this, not in the mood thing?” He asked again clasping his hands together on his knees.
“I don’t know how to tell you,” You sighed again.
“You don’t have to tell me,” He smiled. Yeonjun has been teaching you Political Science for months now and it was easy to warm up to him with his decent and friendly personality. Yet, you are still hesitant to tell him everything even if you feel like he’s been a good older brother to you. Even if telling him might ease the burden you felt, he couldn’t help you get out of the situation anyway. You shake your head at him and forced a smile, it was something for him to be worried about especially when he notices every single detail you do.
“My parents hadn’t told you yet?” You asked as he shake his head.
“No, care to tell me?”
“I’m getting married,” You said which made him freeze on his spot. It was a piece of big news but wasn’t unexpected. A sigh escaped his lips, massaging his glabella一he definitely knew the Governor was up to something. “They just told me last week,”
“How do you feel about this?” He asked, brows knitted in disappointment.
“I felt betrayed,” You said quietly. “They didn’t give me a heads up about it, no one, it just popped out!” You cried. “I don’t know what to do, it’s the Duke and Duchess of the West一”
“Hold on,” He said, stopping you in the middle of the sentence. “It’s Lord Gunil, isn’t it?” He asked.
“Yes,” You sniffled. “He’s a fucking jerk! Did you know what he told me? He said I’m going to marry him whether I like it or not! Fuck!”
“Milady, calm down, I understand how hard it is for you, but let us remain calm,” He said as you slammed your fists on the table making him flinch on his spot. “Y/n,”
“Fine!” You hissed, standing up from your seat. “I can’t let them do this to me.” You added with a deep sigh. “I can’t marry someone I don’t love,”
“Did your parents know?” Yeonjun asked again as you shake your head.
“They don’t care,”
“Good gracious, Professor Yeonjun, this is supposed to be a class!” A voice said as it enters the library, your Mother. “You are in no position to deal with family issues, your class is done for the day, Y/n, go to the hall and play the piano for your practice. This commotion shall not reach your Father, understood?” Your Mother ordered with a stern look on her face and you were about to protest but Yeonjun already bowed to apologize before leaving the library.
“Professor, wait!” You exclaimed as your Mother blocked your way.
“Into the hall, now!” She said as you glared at her, pushing her out of the way一running after Yeonjun.
“Yeonjun, please wait!” You yelled again as you reached the main entrance.
“I’m sorry Milady, let’s see each other for your next class. I have to get back to work now,” He said, opening the carriage’s door.
“Please help me with this,” You pleaded, taking his hand.
“I can’t offer a solution for now,” He sighs in response. “Your Mother’s right, I have no right to intrude with your family issues, I’m sorry,” He said taking your hand away and bowed again as he left with the carriage.
The sounds of the piano came horribly as if you were looking at the keys with pure hatred and disgust. It was supposed to be a good piece that you always love but it turns out to be more aggressive than smooth. Yeonjun is one of the only chances you could get away with the unwanted engagement as you feel ashamed talking to the Prince about this even if he is your very close friend. Felix already has a lot on his plate, his princely duties, training to be the next heir to the throne, and classes. The engagement was already planned ahead for the weekend, and it was something that you shouldn’t look forward to. It only made the music piece go out of tune which made your Mother rage at the melody.
“Again!” She ordered as you tried to remain calm.
You repeated the music again, the very first note down to the last. It was better than the first one—a forced piece of soothing melody from a grudge of a lady. Your Mother seems to enjoy your skills of playing the piano, a hobby of yours ever since your childhood embarked on great talent, aside from reading at a fast pace from reading almost all of the books from the library. It was relaxing, yes, but you don’t enjoy the things you used to because of the standards your parents have. And to marry a Lord for power and wealth, they have already taken away your freedom.
“Good, you will play this piece for your engagement party this Saturday afternoon,” She smiled and left the hall, leaving you slamming your hands on keys causing it to release a piece of distressing music. Your nails dug at the ivory, scratching them out of the blue making your maids flinch in fear.
“Get me the Messenger now,” You ordered, standing up from your seat. “Right now!”
“Yes, Miss!” One of the maids said and ran to fetch him.
The night fell by the next day—you headed for the stables to fetch your house. Everyone was asleep, but not your butler and the maid. It was dark outside, with no source of light but the lamp your maid was holding. The Butler was the lookout even though they didn’t like the idea of this. Yet, it was the only way to escape to see the Prince. After the messenger appeared in the Chateau with an envelope in his hands that had the Felly’s seal on it, you knew the Prince wanted to see you urgently. Your noble steed gushed like the wind as you both left the grounds, the Maid and the Butler will cover for you until you come back. But you knew it wouldn’t last, they will find you anyway. The engagement party is in two days, you might be able to spend time with Felix in preparation for the wedding later. Your horse neighs as it reached the streets heading to the old farmhouse by the lake. A landmark that states near the border of Felly. The moon is shining brightly again, never in Felly had it dark—a spell controls it as it gives more power to the royals. A source of intimate beauty and gives life to immortality.
Sounds of the hooves hit the grounds, enough to awaken the attention of Gunil from his manor. His eyes landed on the maiden, running across the streets with a familiar face. Curiosity fell as he glanced at the moon—a good time to play outside. The farmhouse was already in sight with Felix’s horse, eating grass around it. A sigh of relief escaped from your lips as you smiled, halting your horse beside the Prince’s noble steed. You landed on your feet, running towards the entrance, and saw nothing on the ground floor. It was dark inside, broken pieces of wood and machines welcomed you, even the clouds of dust. Every particle was visible enough to say this was already abandoned. But not tonight.
“Felix?” You called, lifting your skirt to get into the second floor. The Prince was delighted to see you, excitement riled his face the moment he heard your voice.
“Up here Y/n,” He answered, looking down from the railings by the second floor, enough to take a picture of you.
“Thank goodness you came,” You said, hugging him after reaching the floor as the Prince welcomed you with a hug.
“You wished to see me, I can’t say no,” He said, chuckling as he hugged you tighter.
“I haven’t seen you for almost two weeks now,” You said.
“I’m sorry, life happened to me,” Felix said, pulling away from the hug. “How are you, love?” He added, caressing your cheek.
“I haven’t been well,” You sighed softly in response, melting under his touch. His hands were always cold as he find warmth in you.
“Did something happen while I was away?” He asked in a worried tone.
“I didn’t know how to tell you,” You said as your eyes met his. “The Governor and my Mother had an agreement with the Duke and Duchess of the West, I’m marrying Lord Gunil,” Felix stopped in his tracks, he knew this was coming anyway. But the pain in his heart is one he cannot hide on the dark side of the moon. He took a step backward, trying to process the sudden confession at most. A disappointed sigh escaped from his lips as he turned his back from you. It was big news to him.
“The Governor did mention about this when he came this morning at the palace,” Felix said. “Do you want to marry him?” He added, finally facing towards you.
“No!” You exclaimed as Gunil was already sitting on a branch that belongs to an old oak tree, a few meters from the farmhouse. Eyes darkened at the sight of you and the Prince.
“Why?” Felix asked.
“I wanted someone else,” You said but it only lead Felix to fall into silence. “Felix I can’t marry someone I don’t love and for goodness sake, he is a jerk!”
“I know,” Felix hissed. “I don’t have a chance, aren’t I?”
“What do you mean—good heavens!” You exclaimed. “Felix, I’m not going to reject you! Did you just—hypothetically—tell me, you like me?”
“I always do,” He said quietly. “But I can’t risk you to be with me Y/n,” He added, closing his eyes, folding his knuckles. “And you don’t feel the same as I do,”
“There’s not a moment I didn’t think of you,” You said. “From the minute I knew I was going to marry Lord Gunil, all I thought about was you!” Gunil thought it was a surprise, he knew something was wrong. But he fled back to the manor, a good reason to ruin your reputation. A smirk formed on his face, he might enjoy the arrangement for a while. “And why can’t I be with you? Is it because you’re a royal and I’m not?”
“No!” Felix exclaimed. “I can break the rules if I wanted to Y/n,” He said, tears starting to form in his eyes. “It’s too dangerous for you,”
“My life has always been,” You said, holding his hand. “I love you,” Felix looked at you.
“You don’t know what you’re diving into,” He said.
“Just tell me,” You said softly, but only his lips met yours—his hands wrapped around your waist while yours rested on his shoulders. It was intimate, one that you wanted to last. His lips tasted like red wine, it felt soft and gentle, full of longingness and touch. Felix knew this was wrong, but you wanted to risk it. The Prince kissed your forehead as he took you into his arms again. “What am I going to do?” You said quietly, sobbing on his chest.
“We’ll figure something out, okay?” He said.
“That household is suffocating me to death, I am not free,” You said. “Can’t I just be with you, even if we keep it a secret?” You asked, so desperate enough to lure Felix. But he shook his head, kissing you again.
“If I could,” He whispered. “But you have to do what I need you to do while I figure out something to get you out of this mess, okay?” He said as you nodded eagerly.
“Okay,” You said quietly.
“You have to pretend that everything is okay, I’ll meet you here at the same time after your engagement party,” He said, holding your hands tightly. “I have to tell you something by then,”
“Are you going to the party?” You asked as he nodded in response.
“Yes, I wouldn’t miss it,” He said as you came to hug him again. “I love you,”
The day of the engagement came in a blink of an eye. Everyone was busy that morning as you were in your room with your maids, picking a dress to wear for later. They were doing your hair first—Yeonjun surprisingly came to help you choose one of those dresses. You were all smiley, but you can’t help but notice Gunil’s unamused stares that could reach through your soul. He’s been around the Chateau for two days for the purpose of getting to know you more. But it didn’t happen the way everyone expects. You ignored him as much as he ignored you. With all that death glares exchanged, the way he holds your hand tightly that can leave marks, it was the way he threatens you that he knows something—still it made you loathe him more. You tried not to mind him but the fact that he’s going to be your fiance in less than a few hours makes it worse. It will be only Felix that finds a spot for your happiness and seeing him today might comfort you.
His cold hands felt warm and his hugs were good enough to make you feel cozy, the scent of him still lingers in your nose. Being in love with the Prince fell to be a risk—six years of friendship didn’t suffice. It was innocent at first, one that the two get shy during the first meeting but ended up having a conversation that sparks each other’s interest. And by the moment he locked eyes with you, the sweet scent of your blood—he knew you were the one he needed to take. Yet it was no use when he could only keep you close and not sentenced you to marry. Even you, being tied up to someone else, is already living in hell. Fate wanted to play the game, anyway.
A vintage sage green gown with a mixture of white and silver enveloped your body. The maids were awed by the sight of such a beautiful young woman. Even Yeonjun was stunned, the Prince would be delighted to see you later but the dress was not for his occasion. The garden is already settled with tables and chairs, the gazebo is decorated with white roses and ribbons, and even the piano was seated beside it. Your Mother was in charge of the preparations and the Governor invited noblemen and women, especially the royal family. It made you stare at the busy people down below, a party you never asked for—an engagement with the person you loathe together with your toxic parents. If only you could run away in peace, but Felix’s words made you trust him. Pretend.
“Miss, the visitors are starting to arrive,” Your Butler said as you glanced at Yeonjun.
“He promised to come,” Yeonjun said as you gave them a nod.
“Lord Gunil?” You asked.
“He’s with his parents in the garden, Milady,” The Butler answered. “He’s been waiting for you.”
“Please tell him I’m almost there,” You said dismissing the Butler as Yeonjun bowed to leave as well. Your Mother came to attend and the rest of the maids went off.
“You look beautiful, darling,” She said as you faked a smile, not saying anything.
The garden was packed with the nobles and the relatives of the royal family. A gathering that was worthy of joy and celebration, the Governor was happy as the Duke and Duchess. You stood beside Lord Gunil, one who had your hand wrapped on his arm as he talked to the noblewomen—admiring his own beauty. But that didn’t amuse or make an intriguing segway, it was the Prince you were looking for. You hated gatherings anyway. A waste of time of unwanted moments with such unwanted people.
“Announcing the arrival of the King and Queen, and the Prince of Felly!”
It bears a smile on your face, but Gunil holds you closer to him—stopping your presence in front of the Prince. His grip was tight that made you glare at him but it was no use, he was already smiling as if he had known something. It caught the Prince’s eyes while the King and Queen were entertained by the Governor. You could feel Felix’s dark gaze at the man you were about to marry. His knuckles turned white, trying to hold himself from anger. The Prince didn’t want to ruin the party. You turned your gaze to him, but he just took a glass of wine, drinking it full all the way down his throat. His brown eyes gave a hint of red as Gunil locked his gaze with the former.
“You must stay close,” Gunil whispered. “You are marrying me, not the Prince.”
You wanted to get away from his grip, but the more you went against it, the more he didn’t want you to escape. Everyone was enjoying their time at least, but not the ones who exchanged dark glances at each other as you hung your head low. The women danced with their men on the dancefloor, sharing laughs and flattery as others tried the wine and champagne—cakes and other food from the buffet, children playing and the orchestra singing. It was beautiful in everyone’s eyes, and the Prince was catching the women’s attention for his ethereal beauty. He walks slowly by the tables, hands on his back, and his eyes never left your image. Gunil never left your side either and the growing impatience of the Prince never settled. Felix sat down at one of the empty tables, asking for another glass of wine—watching every single move you and Gunil make.
“I shall die before marrying you,” You said, protesting at him.
“And I will kill you if you don’t,” He said in a low monotonous voice.
“Fuck you,” You hissed as his eyes hinted the color red, staring at you, reaching through your soul. Maybe your eyes were just tricking you or the sun was about to set.
“As I said, Y/n, you will marry me whether you like it or not,” He said. “I didn’t ask for this marriage, love, but if you want to save your parents’ reputation, you will not decline.”
“What?” You asked, puzzled by his sudden confession. “What is that supposed to mean?”
“Oh, they didn’t tell you?” He smirked.
“Tell me you fucking bastard!” You hissed but he just chuckled in response. It made you grow impatient as well—but he didn’t even budge until the signal for the official dance started. That was when he dragged you to the dancefloor as Felix watched you at the center. Gunil was doing a good lead, a skillful son of ceremonial dancing but you weren’t amused at anything. The Prince joined the dancefloor, exchanging partners was required, Gunil spun you around and let go of your hand, Felix then, the first man to catch your dance. But you could still feel how he throws daggers on your back, one that makes you stiff while holding Felix’s hand.
“Are you alright?” Felix asked, waltzing with you. “Is he threatening you?”
“It’s nothing, Felix, don’t worry,” You managed a smile but the Prince didn’t believe it.
“Do you wish to tell me?” He asked again as you sigh in response.
“I will, I just need to figure things out myself,” You said as another man took you to dance and Felix ended up with another woman.
The worry in your eyes was visible, but the curiosity led to another. You looked at Gunil who was smiling at the maiden he was dancing with, so innocent but vile. Fuck that filthy man. Everyone was loving him too, but Felix is the only one you see, even if you were dancing with a random stranger—a noble you didn’t know was a relative. The Prince tends to think about it as well, what on earth did Gunil mean anyway?
Another man took you for a dance, he will be the last one before you could go back to Gunil. Small and shy smiles were shared, but the excitement vanished when he held your body again. A face of disgust and anger, the Lord expected it from you but he managed a smile. Felix was left dumbfounded and went out of the dancefloor. The sun was about to set and the dance was cut off by announcing the proposal that will be held in five minutes. You pushed Gunil away, glaring at him as if you’d despised him ever since your birth. But the latter stood away, still growing that sly smile he had.
“Meet me at the gazebo in 5 minutes,” He said. “Better say yes,” He added, clearing his throat before leaving you.
“That wicked bloke.” You hissed as you were about to step away from the dancefloor when Felix pulled you into the bushes, hiding from everyone. “What are you doing?” You asked.
“I wanted to know if you were okay,” He said, caressing your cheeks.
“I don’t know,” You said. “I think I’m going mad,”
“What happened?” He asked as you looked at him.
“It’s something about my parents, I don’t know,” You said, worriedly. Felix glanced at the Lord who was drinking a glass of champagne near the gazebo. Black rings adorning his fingers, a golden cross necklace around his neck, and a conceited indication of his position. He returned Felix’s gaze and finished his drink—whispering something on the Butler beside him.
“Meet me at the farmhouse when everyone is asleep, you have to know something,” He said.
“Everyone is keeping secrets from me, Felix, not you too,” You said, trembling at the thought.
“Right now is not the right time,” He pleaded.
“Do I have to say yes?” You asked him, holding his hand tightly. “I’m scared,”
“Say yes, I’ll take care of it later, alright?” Felix reassured, kissing your forehead as the announcer yelled for everyone to gather. “I’m not going to leave you,”
You gave Felix a tight hug before your Maid could find you, assisting your way towards the gazebo. Everyone was watching and the painter was capturing a once-in-a-lifetime event of your life, perhaps you were doing it with the wrong person. Your parents were holding each other dearly, as the Duke and Duchess were all smiles. Seeing Gunil is down on one knee, he looked sincere with his posture as he hold your hands gently. Felix isn’t having it—he doesn’t have the power to stop such an occasion. Even the King and Queen seem to be buying the party, one that they congratulated the Governor for doing so. But for what purpose did this engagement exist?
The music goes on smoothly, your Mother told you to act shocked and smile with pure innocence. You hated it, the Governor as well as Gunil’s parents were anticipating the right moment. Felix signaled his hand for Yeonjun to come closer, a task that only a vampire can do for now. Everyone suddenly clapped to you and Gunil, one that made him chuckle, fake. Standing there is the start of the steps to getting married. Felix looked at you, worried at the sight that you are going to be tied up with a bad menace. He held his knuckles tightly—he wanted to cause chaos.
“Fate brought us here, and I believe our meeting is not an accident and this engagement will be the start of our blooming relationship. Will, you give me the chance to love and take care of you, starting right now to the day we exchange our vows—(your full name), will you be my wife?” Gunil said which made you chuckle in response. Anyone would think it was a result of being flattered but it was so much more than that. It took you a while to give an answer as you glance at the audience anticipating for you to say yes. The Governor is impatient as the Lady signals you to go through—the Duke and Duchess didn’t seem to be bothered at all. You don’t like any one of them after all.
Gunil held your hand tightly, eyes glaring at you yet only a sly smile plastered on your lips.
“Don’t make me wait,” He mouthed at you, tightening his grip that made you prevented to make a sound. You wanted to protest and slap him square in the face, but like what Felix has said, pretend.
“I’m not making you wait,” You said.
“What’s taking you so long then?” He smirked as you giggled again.
“Yes!” You exclaimed, smiling at everyone and then back to him. “Filthy Lord,” You whispered.
“You better watch that mouth of yours darling,” He hissed.
“You want to rip it? Go ahead,” You glared at him.
“You definitely know nothing, woman,” He said, walking away.
The celebration comes after when you played the piano for the guest. But instead of the soothing music you’ve been practicing in front of your Mother, it was a music of a masquerade ball under the presence of a dark aura. Felix loved the tune, Gunil was amused as the Duke and Duchess you felt something was wrong—your Mother raged on their table but some of the guests were dancing, regaining a memory they had in the past. You looked at Felix as he bowed at you before leaving the Chateau, but the King and Queen stayed until the night fell when everyone drink and eat for a feast. The loud whines and cheers from the dining hall were heard as they all whipped with joy—it will be probably the same as the wedding day—all are happy, all are overwhelmed, except you.
Yeonjun stayed behind as you walked back to your room after an exhausting day. Gunil was walking you back to your room, silence all above the surface, and a distance was kept. The sight of your door emerged by the 2nd floor.
“You can go now,” You said, wanting to get out of his presence as you held the doorknob.
“If you wish to cheat on me with the Prince, better not make it obvious,” He said, making you halt. “You don’t know what trouble you will cause when they find out Y/n,”
“What are you up to?” You said facing him again.
“Your Father made a deal with a blood-sucking creature,” He smirked. “He wanted to gain power in the palace, and you are a perfect trade,” He added, caressing your cheek. “You better not run away from me love,” You felt his hands, and slowly traced your cheeks, it was gentle and cold, but his eyes were never meant to be good. They were red, and as his fangs were sharp, they made you freeze on the spot that send shivers down the spine. “I could kill you right now, and your lovely Prince,” He chuckled and left you, nearly collapsing by your door. Heartbeats were fast as you shake and shiver, hugging yourself at what you just saw.
Not a moment later, you headed for the stables, the Governor and the rest of the guests were too drunk to notice. The maids were occupied as they all thought Gunil left you inside your room to rest but the latter was watching your every move. He turned to face the Duke and Duchess as they nodded in unison. Your horse ran away along with you, the loud sounds of its hooves grinding the grounds had Gunil’s ears ringing to follow from the trees as Yeonjun reached the Prince first. The wind was carrying you on, trying to make the pace faster because of being scared. You could feel Gunil’s presence nearby as the sounds of the leaves gushing the trees and a creature of madness. He was following you.
“Yah!” You exclaimed as your horse ran faster but Gunil was quick enough to stop in front of you. The white horse stood in its two hooves behind, neighing at the sight of the monster with red eyes and sharp claws. You tried to calm your horse down but the Lord was already restraining him to get away.
“Where do you think you are going?” He asked.
“Away from you!” You exclaimed.
“As I said, you can’t get away from me darling,” He added, walking closer to you. “Get down,”
“No,” You hissed. “I’m not going to marry you! You, your family, and my parents can rot to hell!” But Gunil wasn’t amused as his hand reached your hair, grabbing it sternly looking into your eyes.
“I will be your husband in two weeks from now and you decided to cheat on me with the Prince? Are you really that desperate Y/n?” He said before dragging you to get down as you winced in pain as to how tight he’s been pulling your hair. “If you want freedom, I am glad to do the honor of killing you,” He chuckled.
“Do it then!” You hissed again trying to get off from his touch but being the vampire he is, Gunil is too strong to resist.
“Any last words before I do?” He asked before lifting his free hand, claws sharp as knives. Horror intensifies in your face. This world is too cruel for you to live in anyway, and maybe dying at the night of your engagement being done by your fiance will be a story that might be published in gothic fiction—or so everyone thought vampires don’t exist.
“I loathe you—” But before you could finish, someone interrupted.
“Lord Gunil, stop it at once!” The growling deep voice was heard, accompanied by a familiar face. Gunil sighed harshly, glaring at the Prince who just arrived as Yeonjun’s face filled with worry.
“He’s dangerous Felix!” You exclaimed, but Gunil didn’t even bother to let you go.
“Shut up!” Gunil hissed.
“I command you to let go of Y/n,” Felix said.
“You are not her subject, Felix! She’s mine to kill.” Gunil exclaimed as Felix’s eyes turned red—sharp claws appeared as his fangs were ready to bite.
“You don’t want me to kill you myself, don’t you?” Felix smirked. “Let her go!”
“You know vampires are prohibited to kill, especially a royal!” Gunil said. Your eyes are facing terrified and nervous, afraid of being killed or for what Felix was doing. Vampires are real, and the royal family’s curse was real—Gunil is part of the royal family from the second line. But Felix was so beautiful, his skin shone with the full moon that night, his eyes were blood red, and even when in anger, softness still lingers. His black sharp claws, his white fangs that can be painted red, he was too mesmerizing to be afraid of. But the idea of the creature can bring danger—how could he hide such a secret from you?
“You will kill her, I will kill you, our hands are going to be painted with blood eh?” Felix said, walking closer to you and Gunil. “How’s that for prisoners committing treason, cousin?” He smirked as Gunil got frustrated and pushed you away. Yeonjun was the one to secure you in his arms, trembling at the sight of two heated vampires in front of you.
“Cousin,”
“Are you okay, Miss?” Yeonjun asked as you looked at him, scared.
“You’re a vampire too,” You said, shivering under his touch. He looks the same as them, his hands are cold as ice, with no warmth at all.
“I’m not going to hurt you Miss, and so is the Prince,” He reassured. “Now let me take you back home,”
“What about Felix?” You asked.
“He revealed what he needed to be told, but don’t worry you will see him later,” He said as he took your horse and ran back home with you, leaving Felix who managed to secure a small nod for reassurance.
“How much do you love my fiance?” Gunil asked, letting you go.
“More than my life, Gunil,” Felix hissed. “And I will never let you lay a hand on her,” He said, voice growling in the depths.
“Royals are not allowed to marry the elites,” Gunil spoke, walking around him. “Are there no princesses that amuse you? Why deal with a mortal?” He hissed.
“I’ve known her for six years now, you can’t blame me for falling in love. Not someone like you who threatens their fiance for what? Power? The Governor traded his daughter for a higher position in the King’s parliament to a monster like you!” Felix said, eaten by anger.
“Oh, the Duke said I can do whatever I want with the girl, I thought she’d be all lovely and sweet but what did I see?” Gunil said, stopping in front of the Prince. “A worthless commoner who is foolishly in love with a Prince, and not just a Prince, a blood-sucking vampire. Admit it, Felix, Y/n’s blood is too good that you can’t resist it. You will kill her, eventually,” He smirked.
“I’m not like you!” Felix growled. “She is not your mate, even if her blood attracts you!”
“But she’s mine,” Gunil said, mocking his Highness’ tone. “I’m going to suck on her blood the night of our wedding and claim her mine. The privilege was given to me Felix, not you!” But then, sharp claws scratched Gunil’s chest, ripping his upper dress—the older boy was caught off guard by the sudden action and bled. Felix’s gaze had no signs of softness and remorse.
“You are lucky to have the law, or you’re already dead by now,” He said, lowering his voice, piercing his claws in Gunil’s chest making the older boy grunt in pain. But Gunil remained silent with his hand clutching his wounded chest. It will heal sometime. “Don’t touch Y/n, or I’ll bury you alive. And remember that she was born under the blood moon with me,” Gunil could only glare at him as he proceeded to dig his claws deeper. “A vampire can die with silver but not my claws Gunil, don’t cross the line,” Felix whispered before taking his claws off, making the boy kneel in his place. “Go home,”
Felix was about to leave the place as Gunil was panting heavily, forcing himself to rise up—gaining for the Prince with his claws ready to cut him in half. His movements were enough for Felix to notice and turned around to hold his wrists. He had the chance to throw him to the ground, wrapping his hand around Gunil’s neck. Felix’s red eyes were fuming like fire as he put much force on the latter’s neck, choking him nearly to death. Gunil tried to take it away from him, but Felix didn’t budge to move.
“I said, go home,” He said. “You’re quite stubborn are you?” But the latter smirked.
“You can’t kill me,” Gunil said.
“I will not betray Felly for you,” Felix said before he let him go. A frustrated sigh escaped from his lips and went to the trees and jumped his way back to the palace, leaving Gunil unamused and sparking his hatred more.
He went back to the Chateau as you were assisted by Yeonjun to sit on your bed. Gunil was fuming in anger, so much that he forced himself in even if Yeonjun had to stop him. You were already scared enough to distance yourself, but the Lord pushed the Professor away. Tears started to form in your eyes, blood was dripping down from his chest—Felix became something he didn’t want for a while. Almost everyone affiliated with the royal family was blessed with immortality and a monster hides within. Gunil’s hand reached your reach with a loud smack on it, causing your tears to flow faster. Yeonjun wasn’t in the place to stop him, for Gunil stands in a higher position than a mere professor himself.
“You are not going to leave this house, even if we marry. I forbid you to see the Prince!” He growled and left you with Yeonjun inside your room. Louds sobs were heard as you hugged him tightly.
“What should I do?” You asked, trembling as your hands shake. “He will kill me, he will kill me…”
Drowned in despair, you sent Yeonjun away to the Prince. But even if life has given you the signs that you’re going to die, that didn’t stop you from seeing Felix every night. He would come into your room with Yeonjun being the lookout and sneak you out by the window. Each night possesses bright full moons being the indication that a blood moon will show itself soon. You couldn’t help but wonder how it happened or how Felix and the royal family got to be blessed with immortality. A great gift that must be used for the good, but the others have abused their power for the sake of revenge. He tells stories one at a time as you sit beside him by an open window in the same old farmhouse. One that the moon’s light stares directly at the Prince.
“The story begins during the war, a beautiful woman seeks refuge in the kingdom after her family was killed by the enemy. She was held captive by the King that time, a stranger from a nameless kingdom, no one knows where she came from,” He said, holding each other’s hands and interlocking your fingers together as he leaned his head on your shoulder. “His wife had a heart of gold, she believed the prisoner was poor and must be given good treatment. The King was not amused but she begged him to save the stranger’s life—it’s cruel to keep someone innocent in a dungeon with no crime,”
Some believed she was a witch and lied to the royal guards that her family was killed during the war. She befriended the Queen, and she believed her stories—no provocation of a witch so they set her free. Her name was not to be spoken, she was nameless to everyone but not the Queen herself. She became her right hand, eventually and the Queen trusted her, with no doubts or hesitations. The kingdom used to think the Queen was reckless and ignorant of the danger. She didn’t know what awaited her. Then, the plague came, it took a lot of lives in Felly, the Queen fell really sick and the King accused the girl of sorcery. How could she betray the one who gave shelter and trusted her? With the Queen ill, they punished her death—thought they would make the plague gone when the girl died. But the people were fools.
They hanged the girl, but before they could, she wished to give her last words. She cursed all the members of the royal family, she didn’t find goodness in their hearts except for the Queen who showed compassion. It was the night of the blood moon, she promised she would not flee from the accusations but the magic she possessed enveloped the royal family members who were watching the execution. With the power of the blood moon and her magic, she said they’ll have the form of a blood-sucking creature—a dangerous monster, unable to control when it’s under the spell of the red moon. They were forbidden to kill, or else their treasures and ranks would vanish especially immortality. But my ancestors didn’t do well and broke the rules, and there remains a curse. The girl died, the plague was still there and the curse. The royals were forbidden to love a non-royal as well, but some say that one day, one of the members of the royal family will break the law. This vampire might kill someone or fall in love with a commoner.
“Sounds stupid right?” Felix chuckled. “Vampires usually have their prey when their blood is so sweet and fragrant to them, but some of us have it as our mates or they were the ones who were born together under the red moon. And as for me, I am destined to be with a mortal, a non-royal,” He added, looking at you. “Your blood smells so good, and you are born under a blood moon with me,—I’ll risk everything to be with you.”
Your hand reaches his cheek, kissing him under the bright moonlight. His skin was soft and cold, yet it felt warm which makes your heart melt. A sense of touch that ruins the code and law as if they were turning their backs on the kingdom—a significance of opposing this engagement.  It didn’t matter what he is, nor the proceedings of the law, you didn’t want to be with someone else but the Prince. The freedom of seeing him every night ends at dawn, you will be seeing Gunil around the Chateau again and pretend everything was fine. Parents with unreachable standards and a rebel child, it does play a problem and fate is not friendly as it seems.
The day of the wedding came, and tears spilled from the eyes of the rebel child as her unwanted groom stood at the altar. Hands gripped tightly around the bouquet as her father assisted her. Everyone was smiling, admiring the beauty you possessed—but the rage inside your heart gets darker every time you take a step. The Prince watched the parade, eyes turning red at the acquisition. He wanted to lash out at everything in his sight, kill the man he was jealous of for having you standing in front, exchanging vows, and taking the veil off of your face. The Prince closed his shut, not taking the kiss for proclaiming the newlyweds as husband and wife. Your Father was overjoyed as your Mother wept with relief. The Duke and Duchess weren’t amused but the trade is a trade.
You are already married.
Your husband held your wrist tight to get a portrait, it will be one they will hang on the wall. The reception was filled with joy and drinking. It was the same scenario you had during the engagement party. Both didn’t paint a smile nor happiness in your world, only anger, and resentment. You were thankful that the marriage didn’t happen inside a church—a vampire, getting married in a church was ridiculous—you thought. But no matter how you execute thoughts, fear still remains and your husband can be responsible for taking your life whenever he pleases.
“You have the power to stop this wedding, why didn’t you do anything?” Yeonjun told Felix as he watched you dance with your husband at the center. You keep on glancing at Felix, but Gunil would make him look at you, smirking as he holds your hand tightly.
“And what would I do when I object?” Felix asked in return. “I will not hesitate to bring that monster and his family down! I will take care of him, clean and crimeless,” Yeonjun gave him a puzzled look.
“You will make a bloody crime,” Yeonjun whispered, but Felix didn’t answer and walked away.
“Can I have a dance with the bride?” Felix asked, interfering with you and Gunil from the dance. The Lord was looking at the Prince, unamused of his sudden appearance—then he looks at you, who was looking down on the floor, trying to resist the pain you feel from his grip. It will leave a bruise later.
“You will not do anything stupid,” Gunil said, pushing you towards the Prince as you stumbled upon him. “I’m watching you very close,”
“That bastard,” Felix growled as he held your hands, seeing the bruise on your wrist. “He did this to you?” He asked, eyes hinting red at the sight of it and Gunil was sitting a few meters away.
“It doesn’t matter,” You said.
“But Y/n, he’s abusing you!” Felix said gritting his teeth. “I’m going to kill that fucker,”
“Felix, he will kill you,” You argued, taking his hand, pretending to dance away.
“He will kill you,” He said. “I’m taking you away with me the moment this ends, I don’t care what will happen.”
“You’re putting dirt on your name, Felix, I won’t let you do it because of me!” You said tears started streaming on your face again.
“I love you, Y/n,” He said as it made your sobs grow harder.
Felix held your hand as his arm being wrapped around your waist pulled you closer to him as you sway to the music. Eyes were on you, it was a magnificent sight but not on your husband. You were beautiful in Felix’s eyes even if tears were shining like pearls—he wouldn’t waste such an opportunity. The white dress twirled following your body movements, it was the way the Prince spun you around and make a distance with your hands colliding with each other, it was the way how he pulls you back into his arms and hugged you tightly. It was sweet, but there was darkness behind. The music was soothing with a mixture of a masquerade theme. A melody that signifies that a woman was dancing with a lover that was never truly hers. It was bleeding painfully.
The Prince held your hand again, slipping something onto it, a silver dagger that was wrapped by a piece of cloth. A sharp object that can kill a creature in just one force into their chest. It was something that Felix feared, a weakness that contributes to his death. You looked at him as you slipped it inside your dress, Gunil was thankfully talking to his mother—Felix knew great timing. But then, you were confused as to why yet you were meant to kill.
“Kill him,” He said. “Then we shall flee from Felly,”
“What about the King and Queen?” You said in a worried tone.
“I’ll explain it to them, they will help us,” He insisted as Gunil suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
“That’s enough dancing with my wife,” He growled. “Find your own bride,” Gunil added as he dragged you away.
“Felix!” You cried but all he did was stand up on his spot, giving you a nod.
A vampire can’t kill another—but a human can. It will be considered a crime yet the person dragging you towards your room has already committed one. Felix flew above the Chateau as Yeonjun held the carriage outside the main entrance. He landed on a branch that settles him to see you through your bedroom’s window with your husband dragging you inside as you keep resisting his touch. Grunting and groaning to the pain you feel on your wrist, your body felt the softness of the mattress where he had to push you, eyes red in anger and rage. His heart turned dark, knuckles turned white, and his fangs were sharp as his claws—it might be the last time.
“What are you doing?” He asked. “You think Felix’s help will get you out of this?! No! You’re married to me now Y/n,”
“I’d rather die than spend a lifetime with you!” You exclaimed, launching out from the bed. “You agreed to take me for a trade! What am I? A thing? Bullshit!”
“Oh, Y/n, you’re more valuable than that,” Gunil smirked as he played with your hair. “You have something that I need,” He added breathing on your neck gently which makes his hunger craves more. You shut your eyes closed, fear enveloped your body as you remembered the silver dagger Felix gave you.
“Did my Father know?” You asked, trembling on your spot. “Does my parents know you’re a vampire?”
“No secrets for a trade love,” Gunil smirked. “I can’t let have the Prince feast for this luscious blood of yours to save his life, you’re his mate after all,”
“You can’t have me!” You defended when he just chuckled.
“Too bad, I already did,” Gunil opened his mouth ready to take a bite when you pierced the dagger on his left stomach causing him to weaken and kneeled on the ground. “Fuck,” He hissed at the sight of his blood, running towards the silver blade.
“Y/n!” Felix yelled from the branch as you hurried to open the window but Gunil gathered his strength, pulling you again, earning a scream from you. A hand grabbed your hair as he took the dagger from his wounded side.
“You will never leave this house!” Gunil growled as Felix launched himself inside, but he was too quick to hold you captive with his arm wrapped on your chest and the dagger’s sharp edge pointing at your neck. “You think you can get away?” He stressed as Felix halted in front of you. “Don’t come near us or I’ll kill her!”
“Let her go!” Felix yelled.
“She’s mine, Felix!”
“No,” Felix retorted. “You don’t know what will happen if you’d kill her.” He saw your eyes covered in fear, trying to resist Gunil’s grip for the nth time. Tears stream from your eyes, Felix hated that.
“I already see a monster inside you Felix,” Gunil smirked. “How much more if I’d take her life too?” He chuckled and was about to slash the dagger when Felix grabbed his hand—holding his wrist tightly causing Gunil to wince in pain and dropped the sharp object down to the floor as you fled.
“Go!” Said the Prince, holding Gunil from attacking any further. “Yeonjun take her away!” Felix ordered as the former quickly carried you out from the room and hopped towards the carriage.
“Take me back to Felix!” You cried but Yeonjun already pushed you inside.
“I can’t Miss,” He said. “You have to stay here, he will come later,” He added, hopping on the coachman’s seat to go on the road. Felix was left with Gunil, combatting against each other—one that would slash their claws on one’s arm or the other punches the other’s face. The Prince pinned Gunil on your bed, a hand wrapped around his neck, suffocating him. His eyes were full of rage and the latter was trying to take it at ease. He was too weak to do anything anyway, the stinging pain of this wound made by the silver was painful enough.
“Remember your Highness, you can’t kill,” Gunil smirked as Felix positioned himself to slash his enemy to death. “You can’t kill me,” He said.
“You don’t deserve your place, you’re a filthy vampire,” Felix grunted in response.
“It’s sad why a human was destined to be your mate,” Gunil chuckled. “You will kill her for her blood anyway,” But it only made Felix have his grip tighter around his neck.
“You do not speak to me like that,” Felix gritted his teeth. “I will kill you myself,” But Gunil pushed him away as Felix’s back landed on the furniture surrounding the room—earning a painful wince from the Prince. He lifted Felix up from his place, a hand around his neck and a dark stare. Even in pain, he still gains strength, he knew damage from a silver won’t heal faster than the minor ones, minus the mineral.
“How much are you going for her?” Gunil asked.
“I’d die for her!” Felix said struggling to get down from the former’s strength but managed to kick him right on the stomach where you stabbed him. Gunil fell to the floor and Felix grabbed the dagger and fled—coming for your carriage but to his surprise, Yeonjun was lying unconscious on the road—the carriage was bumped into a tree, damaged at the front. The Duke had a knife on your neck, again as the Duchess had Yeonjun’s head bleeding and passed out.
“Felix!” You called but it only caused the Duke to make a small cut on your neck, so much for the blood dripping, it drove the Prince crazy. His head was spinning, the scent of your blood was enough to rage him for lust.
“Ahh, his mate it is,” The Duke laughed. “You know your Highness, it is quite of a pity to have a mortal as your mate when everyone was destined to marry a royal. But her blood smells good and appetizing,”
“You don’t need to be selfish,” The Duchess said but the Prince was dizzy.
“Felix,” You cried.
“When she dies, you will become useless and the King will make Gunil heir to the throne!” The Duke said.
“A Governor who wanted power traded his daughter without knowing what will hit him,” The Duchess chuckled when you bit the Duke’s hand to flee but enough to stab the knife behind your back, buried deep.
“No!” Felix exclaimed before he could attack them both in anger, slashing the chests and piercing his claws on their hearts. Law didn’t matter to him anymore. He was furious—eyes were dark red, devoured with madness and blood, and he came mercilessly to the two nobles. His hands choked on their necks, with the brightness of the moon that night, he sucked on their blood—tackled them to the ground, and pierced the dagger into their hearts. You were lying on the grass, catching your breath as Gunil arrived, seeing his parents dead. His eyes were covered in fear.
“Do I  need to kill you too?” He asked. “Right, there’s no point in killing you yet,”
“You don’t know what you’re doing,” Gunil said, shaking at the sight of his parents being lifeless, blood being sucked and empty.
“I am,” Felix growled as he went in your direction. “Y/n,” But with rage Gunil was about to attack him from behind when the Prince was too quick enough to turn around and stabbed his wound again causing him to wince in pain, loud enough. Yeonjun regained his consciousness and saw the horror.
“A life for a life,” Felix whispered. “You don’t deserve a place in the palace,” Gunil fell to his knees and collapsed on the ground as Felix proceeded to you, fighting for your life. Breathes were heavy and painful, blood coloring the green grass as you lay, looking at him with worried eyes. “Y/n,.. I’m so sorry…” He said.
“Shhh,” You said, reassuring him. “I’m sorry,”
“Sire,” Yeonjun called. “You killed the Duke and Duchess, the King wouldn’t be pleased.”
“It doesn’t matter, I will explain what happened,” Felix said. “Leave me and Y/n, alone for a moment,”
“And Lord Gunil?” He asked again.
“Take him to the royal physician and burn their bodies,” He ordered as Yeonjun bowed. “Everything will be okay, now,” Felix said, looking at you as he take your body on his lap. “I’m sorry,” He cried.
“Don’t be sorry, none of this was your fault,” You said, holding his hand. “Now that I’m wounded and dying, my blood is already yours,”
“And leave you to die?” Felix said, as his voice cracked with his sobs in between.
“I think I was destined to die anyway,” You smiled despite the pain. “I’m already losing a lot of blood, I’m sorry I won’t be able to give you a happily ever after,” You added.
“You’re going to live okay?” Felix growled. “I’m not going to let anything bad happen to you,”
“I love you,” You said. “My blood is yours, my Prince…”
The Prince was left in despair as tears wouldn’t stop streaming his face the moment you finally closed your eyes. Clutching your body onto his, he buried his face in your neck. Despite the luscious red liquid that drips down from your body, it became nothing. He couldn’t bear to take your blood as his now—what’s the point of it anyway? You are gone.
Tumblr media
“Your Highness, we should get back now,” Yeonjun said. Your parents bowed to pay respect as the lord executed a nod. The Prince glared at him.
“You’re lucky I didn’t intend to kill you with the Duke and Duchess,” Felix told Gunil.
Felly watched the funeral of the Duke and Duchess the night where Felix killed them as Gunil was healing. Everyone was scared at didn’t look the Prince in his eyes. Even your parents were ashamed and the Governor lost his place in the palace. The King was furious but gave no punishment to his child despite the crime. There was no crime, after all.
“Your Highness the rain will pour harder anytime soon,” Yeonjun insisted as the Prince sighed in disbelief.
“I said, leave us!” His voice was stern and Yeonjun immediately obliged, returning to the carriage. “Don’t wait for me and get back to the palace,”
“Yes, Your Majesty,” Yeonjun bowed and left, even the funeral directors left the coffin open for him to see you one last time.
Your parents knew what happened that night. The King’s royal guard informed the Governor to be revoked from his place. One that he didn’t deserve after making a deal with a vampire and trading his daughter—not just a hopeless maiden—but the Prince’s mate. His best friend and true love, the one who gives him joy despite the sadness he carries from being one of the royals. Felix was devastated and so was everyone in the kingdom. Your parents were put on house arrest along with Gunil. The Lord was too weak and sad to escape, but their effrontery manner is thick enough to have themselves show at your funeral, weeping and ashamed.
You died. They thought it was the end. You live. And it was only the beginning. They always paint the roses red. You despise it.
With the blood moon above the sky, Felix’s fangs met your neck—burying the bite deep down to savor the remains of your body.  His DNA travels from every nerve and passageway to roam inside your body as if it was a venom that escalates for someone to die. But the difference—it will let you live. He attempted to bite, not once, not twice but thrice of his fangs grow sharper by the minute. Your eyes were still closed, with no sense of life after all. Yet he didn’t give up there. He was left with his last choice and carried your body back to the palace where he used the trees as an escape. No one saw him as he landed on the balcony of his room where the King and Queen were waiting. Yeonjun helped him lay you on his bed, lifeless yet beautiful.
“She will be back, the blood moon is with us,” The Queen said.
“Your marks have indicated life, let’s hope for her return,” The King added. “Son, why did you let Gunil live?”
“He is not for me to kill,” Felix said, caressing your hair. “I don’t want to stain my hands with his blood,” The King and Queen exchanged glances as they gave their son a hug.
“We will leave you alone with her,” The Queen said as she nodded at Yeonjun, taking her way out along with the King.
“Sire, let Y/n rest for a bit,” Yeonjun said as Felix gave him a nod before placing a soft kiss on his lips— leaving with him.
The door closed behind Felix as gently as possible and left you into your deep slumber on his bed, hands clasped on your stomach. It was a beautiful night indeed, the bright light from the moon entered the room with the wind howling making the curtains sway. The burning flames on each candle blow as his blood devour your body to your heart. The wind grew stronger and the gushing sounds of it poke the life within you. A gasp escaped your lips as you opened your eyes.
They were red.
Felix suddenly felt something weird that held him back to his room, you were standing in front of a mirror—amused by what you had become. The Prince ran back inside as you heard the sounds of the door opening. Felix’s heart started to beat faster, you look different after being brought to life, yet still the most beautiful woman in his eyes. He is already crying as you stare at each other—you spread your arms open as he welcomes you into a hug.
“My love, I missed you so much,” He said, hugging you tightly as you melted under his touch. “I thought I’d lost you,” He added between his sobs. “You came back,”
“I thought I’ll be gone,” You said, shedding tears as Felix kissed your lips most definitely.
It is that one thing that you missed. His hugs, all the cuddles, and laughs—his kisses were always gentle and soft as you tasted your own blood from his lips. That didn’t matter. He wrapped his arms around your waist to pull you closer, enough space to deepen the kiss. It was filled with longingness as he was left to cry his heart out inside his room a few days after your death. It wasn’t his job to bring back the living but for the sake that you are his only mate, he risked his own life for it and promised to make them regret what they did. He loves you dearly.
Your back met the mattress as he hovered over you—hand wrapped around his neck, Felix didn’t waste his time kissing you. He licked your lips before sucking them and took them again as you let out soft moans from his touch. One that it drove him crazy while at it, you pulled him closer to yours as you played with his black locks. Felix smiled at the thought, ending it with a soft kiss on your lips, making you giggle. Your hand placed on his cheek gently, caressing it to look at his face in awe. The face of the one you love, the one who saved you, and the one you should marry.
“I love you,” He said.
“I love you too,” You added he placed another prolonged kiss on your lips again.
And that moment later, you lay beside together as you hold hands with Felix playing with your fingers.
“The ball will be tomorrow night,” He said. “We were supposed to be busy,” The Prince chuckled.
“I’m sorry to forfeit your schedule,” You said as Felix shake his head, kissing the tip of your nose.
“It’s fine, they already know,” He smiled. “I want to deliver you in public tomorrow, make your parents regret what they did, and face Gunil,” He said, slowly changing his tone.
“Wouldn’t be weird to have a dead be alive again?” You asked as he giggled.
“I have the power to make you live for you are my mate, my blood is yours, we share it now,” He smiled. “I made you one of us to make you live, and I will make you my Princess,”
“That’s a huge honor for me,” You said.
“Will you accept it?” Felix asked, looking at the red eyes that you share with him.
“I will be honored, your Highness,” You smiled.
The night of the ball arrived, it was supposedly a birthday celebration for the King where everyone is dancing and colleagues meet. Your parents were invited as well as Gunil who is still a prisoner, dressed them into fine nobles to what they should be. The King was seated on the throne along with his wife. A feast that everyone thought that it was the usual birthday party. Felix stood beside his Father and watched the townsmen enjoy the company. The music was played by a famous group of musicians and a singer was intended to sing later.
Everyone was distracted, the King is smiling and the Queen is satisfied with the taste of the wine as you were hidden on the second floor. A red ball gown that emphasizes a sweet backfire as you walked down the stairs made the King halt the activities. The Prince went to escort you and the townsmen were left in shock. The Prince’s other half lives. Your parents had a hard time swallowing the fact that what they did was wrong and now, the royal family’s hatred grows bigger—with you being alive and a part of the immortality.
“Behold, our new heir of the throne,” The King announced as Gunil dropped his glass on the floor. That caught your attention as you stood beside Felix at the throne, one that your parents cried in regret but it was too late. It was their fault why your life was miserable enough and was killed for your blood. A connection to the Prince not to get the throne if you were gone.
“Y/n,” Your Mother cried as was about to run to you but the guard have blocked their way. The Governor was ashamed. He couldn’t look you in the eye.
“Why did you do this to me?” You asked them.
“Oh darling it was a mistake, your Father—” But your Mother was cut off when she saw your eyes. You became one of them.
“Gunil, you are no longer a Lord, Mr. (y/l/n) the King revoked your Governor position and now you live as a normal member of the town with your wife.” You said. “I forgive you for taking away my freedom but I will never ever forget the day you traded me for a fucking position in the palace—Mother didn’t even stop you,” You cried at your Father.
“Your Highness, please forgive me,” Your Father said but it was too late.
“Please, just leave,” You said quietly as Felix hugged you.
“Guards, escort them back to the Chateau,” The King ordered. Your parents wanted to oppose at the situation but the guards dismissed them away. Gunil hissed at the sight of you, being disgusted with the fact that you’re all fine. But you sent him a death glare and smirked away.
“Do you want to walk with me outside?” Felix asked as you nodded. He held your hand tightly as you walked by the garden. It was yet another lovely night—the celebration resumed but the thoughts of your parents’ faces never left your mind. The former Governor might’ve been so embarrassed that he didn’t say any word. Yet you still despise Gunil for what he did—he was for you to kill anyway but decided to never lay a hand to a prisoner. They didn’t deserve you.
“So what’s your plan now? Your parents and Gunil?” Felix asked.
“I still love them even after what they did to me, let them be in the Chateau and Gunil will be prohibited from having freedom,” You sighed as he gave you a nod.
“That will be taken care of,” He said. “But what’s on your mind, right now?”
“I’m happy,” You answered in response.
“How so?” Felix asked, smiling at the sight of you—excited of what you meant.
“Everything happened quickly like a blink of an eye,” You started. “All this luxury after I live again felt so unexpected,”
“Y/n, you deserve this,” Felix insisted as he stopped—looking at you. “You’re free now, nothing will step in your way. All you need to do is be my Princess, and be my Queen when the time comes.” He said as you giggled in response. “I’ll take that as a yes then,” He smiled.
“Felix, you know I can’t say no to you,” You smiled as he kissed your forehead.
“I know,” Felix answered, caressing your cheek. “I love you Y/n, you deserve anything in this world.”
“I only ask for you,” You answered as Felix smiled before kissing your lips softly.
“You will always have me,”

“Lix?” You called, having not heard from your boyfriend for roughly an hour. While it wasn’t unusual for him to go into his own little world in your shared bedroom, whether that be for gaming, chatting with friends overseas, or just reading—a full hour without him coming to find you or texting you, even when both of you were home, was definitely out of the ordinary.
So, you made your way to the bedroom’s closed door and lightly tapped on the wood. “Yeah?” Came the muffled reply.
“You good, baby?”
“Yep!”
“Can I come in?” You asked, opening the door before Felix could answer.
After all, it wasn’t as if either of you had anything to hide. On the rare occasions you did, like when wrapping birthday presents and such, notes to the effect of “Super Secret Project In Progress. Do Not Enter. I Love You!!!!!” were typically taped to the door.
As you entered, Felix looked up with a look on his face you’d only really ever seen on a cat. It was as if you’d caught him just after he’d knocked a glass of water off the counter or had ripped a rug to shreds. Before you could say anything, your boyfriend was shoving the papers strewn over the desk into a pile and stuffing them into a drawer, then standing in front of said desk with a foot on said drawer to stop it from popping open.
You giggled. “Babe, whatcha got there?”
“Nothing, just something I was working on,” Felix said nonchalantly. As if he could appear anything short of guilty now that he’d so clearly been working on something he did not want you to see.
You sauntered toward him, swinging the overlong sleeves of your—his—hoodie as you went. “You sure about that? Are you sure it’s not something for me?”
“Oh, very sure, honey,” Felix replied, nodding and grinning like a fool.
You hummed, snaking your arms around his waist as you reached him and staring directly into his eyes. “You know, Lix,” you mused, “your ears always turn red and you end up staring into space a little more than usual when you’re lying.” You smirked. “Your ears are red.”
Felix huffed a laugh, returning your embrace. “My ears also turn red whenever I’m particularly excited to see you.”
“Right, that’s not the only thing that happens, baby,” you said, pressing yourself against him and letting your hands slide just that much closer to his ass.
“Oh, no you don’t,” Felix warned, moving away just enough to end up dropping his foot to the floor. Taking advantage of his distraction, you tried to disentangle yourself from your boyfriend’s arms.
“Now let’s see what you were—” you began, only to be pulled away by Felix.
“Nope, secret project, baby,” he insisted, resorting to lightly tickling your sides and kissing your cheek as you squirmed and reached for the drawer. “You are so not finding out what that was.”
“But Lix, I wanna know!” You whined, doing your best impression of his sister’s youngest child. “Please?”
“Nope!” Felix said, now having successfully maneuvered the two of you over to the bed. You quickly found yourself flat on your back on the mattress with Felix over you, still tickling you.
“Please, please, please?” You begged, but to no avail. At this point, you weren’t even sure whether you were begging for Felix to tell you what he’d been doing or to stop tickling you.
“Only if you give me a kiss,” he relented, pausing for a moment.
You stared up at your boyfriend, his eyes sparkling and cheeks ever so slightly flushed—and ears tinged a cherry red—and gave in.
It wasn’t such a hardship, after all.
Craning your neck, you pressed your lips to his in a brief kiss. “Okay, you’ve got your kiss. Can I see what you were doing now?” You said confidently.
“That was barely a kiss,” Felix said sorrowfully. “I’m so unloved. The love of my life won’t even kiss me properly anymore.” He pouted.
And who were you to deny him?
Ten minutes later, you were both quite out of breath and more than a little excitable. “So, Lixie, my baby, my darling,” you panted. “Are you going to tell me what you were working on now that you’ve gotten a little more than just a kiss?”
Felix sighed, burying his face in your neck. “Okay, but it’s a little embarrassing.”
You stroked his hair. “I’m sure whatever it you’ve done is lovely.”
Felix slid backward off the bed, grasping your hands as he went so that you sat up as he stood. “Here, um… Just close your eyes for a moment. Please?”
You nodded, even going so far as to cover your eyes with your fingers.
After some rustling and little comments along the lines of “Okay, that goes there and that goes… Shit. Not there,” from your boyfriend, you felt warm hands cup your cheeks and soft lips press to yours.
“Come see,” Felix murmured against your mouth.
What lay before you on the desk took your breath away. “Is that…” you began, leaning forward to peer at the little photos and dried flowers on the pages of what was unmistakably a scrapbook.
“It’s us,” Felix said, hand securely around your waist.
“Is this a wedding scrapbook, Lix?” You asked, voice quiet with admiration and more love than you knew what to do with.
“Maybe…”
“I love it, baby,” you said, turning to kiss Felix’s cheek. “Can you show me all of it?”
So, he did. There were pictures of the two of you, more dried flowers—“This is what I’d have in my boutonniere!”—pictures of your friends, drawings of table settings, pictures of suits and dresses and everything in between… In short, Felix had compiled all his dreams and wishes for a wedding into one book.
“Wait,” you said after looking through the entire scrapbook. “Does this mean… Are you… Are we?”
“If you’re asking if I’d like to marry you, Y/N, then yes. Yes, I would, if you’ll have me,” Felix said sincerely. “It would be the greatest honor of my life if I could marry you.”
You threw your arms around Felix’s neck, clinging tightly to him as your murmured—and squealed—“Yes! Yes!” He spun you around, the two of you laughing and giddy, before finally stopping to kiss you soundly again.
“I love you, Felix,” you said, gazing at the man who would someday be your husband. The thought alone gave you such a thrill.
“I love you, too. More than you know.”
“Care to show me?” You asked mischievously.
“Later, later,” Felix promised. “But first I have a very serious question.”
You raised an eyebrow.
“Which one of us will wear the garter belt?”
You burst out laughing, drawing him back down onto the bed again. The rest of the evening passed languidly, the two of you moving from the bed to the bath and finally to the kitchen, content and more in love than either of you thought possible.
Perhaps, some Super Secret Projects were worth the wait…

Cuddle Bug
Paring: Lee Felix x Reader Words: 585 Genre: Fluff of the tooth rotting kind Warnings: none
It wasn't a secret by any means that Felix was a fan of skinship. He loved to touch or be touched whether it was a hug, pat on his head, his arm around your shoulder or a cuddle session he was in love with being able to touch you.
You on the other hand had never really been a fan of it to the same extent. Sometimes you held a friend's hand when you were out or hugged someone to comfort them but when you met Felix it had changed dramatically. Now it felt like if you weren't attached to him in some way something was missing.
Sundays were often, but not always, the day of the week you would get to see Felix. The guys often had that day to recover from group activities or practices unless they were travelling. So in keeping with tradition, you had turned up Saturday night at 11:45 when Felix texted you he would be home. Knocking on the dorm's front door you waited for one of them to let you in.
"Hi Innie" You smiled reaching out to ruffle his hair as he let you past "How have you been?"
"We were super busy this week with shoots it was fun though" He smiled back taking your coat to hand on one of the hooks in the hall. "Felix is already in his room I think"
"Thank you, your going to be going to bed soon though right? You guys really need some proper rest" You asked watching as the younger boy nodded and headed towards his bedroom door.
"Yeah I just need to wash up then I will sleep I promise Noona" He said softly grinning as you continued past him to Felix's room letting yourself in quietly in case you beloved boyfriend was already asleep.
"Hey Bubs I was waiting for you" he yawned as you entered his room putting your bag down. He was already in his pajamas and was sitting on his beg playing video games.
"I'll change and we can go to bed my Sunshine" you smiled watching him save his game as you stripped off you clothes and put on a sleeping shirt. He followed you to the bathroom and wrapped his arms around your waist burring his head into the side of your neck as he waited for you to finish brushing your teeth.
"I've missed you" he whispered into your neck his lips brushing your skin as he spoke sending tingles across the surface with each word.
"I've missed you too, I've missed this" You sighed as you leaned back into his warm chest.
"Lets go to bed bubs I want to hold you all night" He murmured as he maintained his hold on you forcing you to waddle back to the bedroom. You giggled as he let go of you only to flop down on the bed and pull you down with him wrapping both his arms around you and pulling you onto his chest.
"I love you Sunshine" you yawned softly placing soft kisses to the t-shirt covering his skin.
"I love you more Bubs" he sighed happily "But just so you know you are not leaving this bed tomorrow I need a whole weeks worth of cuddles before you can go home"
"Don't worry I'll stay here forever if it means I'm cuddling you" your voice thick with sleep.
"Goodnight Bubs" He whispered as he kissed the top of your head
"Goodnight my little Cuddle Bug"

cupcakes and kisses | lee felix
Tumblr media
synopsis: baking with your boyfriend for the first time can either be disastrous or a dream come true.
pairing: nonidol!lee felix x gn!reader (jeongin is mentioned)
genre: established relationship, college au, fluff
warnings: none
today, you and your boyfriend were going to bake cupcakes for him and his roommate, jeongin. you were worried that it could end up disastrous, or the result would be disappointing, since you have never really baked before.
but felix, with his lovely smile, reassured you that it would be fine, and encouraged you throughout the process.
you and felix were now side by side, whisking two different colored mixtures; chocolate and vanilla. you watched as your boyfriend mixed the bowl expertly, his eyes never leaving the motion of his hands.
“need my help, love?” felix now focused on you after whisking the mixture, wrapping his arms around your waist. he rested his chin on your shoulder, humming against the fabric of your sweater.
you chuckled at the contact, shaking your head in response. “just worry about your own cupcakes, sweetheart.”
felix, being clingy, refused to leave your waist until you’ve finished mixing the vanilla concoction. he pressed a kiss against your forehead, helping you pour the white mixture into the pan with circular shapes, doing the same to his.
“let me put in your cupcakes, love, the oven is hot.” felix took your pan from your hands, putting it on the iron bars of the oven with ease.
“i’m really glad we were able to do this,” felix sighed, wrapping himself around you again. “i really missed spending time like this with you.”
“i wouldn’t miss baking with you, lix.” you separated from the hug to press a short kiss on his lips.
felix’s freckled cheeks instantly flushed scarlet red as he stared at you with immense love and adoration. he shyly pecked your lips a couple of times, his heart jumping out of his chest each time he did.
you cupped his cheeks in your hands and chuckled as he scrunched up his face. he puckered his lips for another kiss, which you gladly gave him.
after several more minutes of giving each other affection and simply adoring one another with giggles, the timer of the oven alerted you and your boyfriend that the cupcakes were ready.
after taking the cupcakes out, you and felix decorated the cupcakes with strawberry and vanilla frosting, giggling as you watched felix pipe the frosting onto the cupcake with utmost concentration.
you quickly decorated your vanilla cupcakes with strawberry frosting, designing them with swirls. you and felix chopped strawberries and placed them atop the frosting, smiling at the result.
you took the cupcake in your hand after it cooled, biting into it. you hummed in satisfaction, looking at felix in surprise. felix chuckled at your reaction, grabbing your chin. you immediately flushed red. what could he be doing?
“you have frosting on your lips.” felix smiled as he boldly kissed the frosting off your lips. afterwards, he licked his own lips in satisfaction.
“tastes good.” he chuckled, continuing to eat the cupcake.
your boyfriend lovingly squeezed your hand as he continued to eat the cupcakes with you, happy that he was able to bake with you.

I will remember you(Part 2)
Extraordinary you!Au x Zombie Apocalypse!Au
Tumblr media
Summary: The world was damned. A deadly virus going around turning everyone in zombies? Yeah, the world was definitely damned. But that was the least of his problems right now. Time was slipping by him..he had been hearing weird sounds. He decided that he was going crazy. Until a certain someone appeared and told him not to worry because apparently this all a fiction, more specifically a comic?
Words: 9k
AN: The next thing I want to put out is a Seungmin fanfic because I think people overlook him so much! I will try to organize my thoughts and put it out shortly! I hope you enjoy my work!
Part 1
Comic? Character? Me?
He shook his head, shaking the idea off him.  There was absolutely no way. Thoughts were swimming around his head, making him feel light headed and dizzy. Was it really possible for all this to be a lie? He felt silly just by thinking it. The sunlight warming his skin felt real, the delightful laughter filling the classroom felt real, he felt real. Frustrated signs left him again.
Two days already passed since Y/N revealed to him the crazy shit that she thought the world consisted of. He recalled their conversation with disdain...
  "Wow you are even more fucking crazy than I am"he exclaimed, beliwered. He took a step back, widening the distance between them. Who knows maybe a zombie bit her and all this were side effects.
   "Maybe I am" she beamed happily, repeatedly patting the spot next to her expecting him to sit with her. He raised an eyebrow only to meet the same annoyingly cheery expression, he signed and caved. He slowly lowered himself to the ground, it was still warm from the setting sun above them he noticed.
"So do you want to learn more?"she inquired as she was talking with me about the weather ,hands busy brushing through her thick and tangled locks.
   "Enlight me" he taunted her as he scanned the yard. He hadn't been here in months. From the level ground everything was way bigger than he remembered. Seeing it from up close was a reminder of the old times and how fucked up was his current situation.
   "They won't come" she stated simply, still running her fingers through her brown locks. Total at ease in this environment. "I lounge here often enough. Never met a functioning zombie here"
   "How come? Your writer doesn't fancy gardens? Oh!Oh! Are the zombies allergic?!" Irony was evident in his tone "That would explain soo much!"
   "Ha ha..No, in the shadow they just...exist. They are not chasing us,not trying to eat us. I can just simply past one and it won't do anything. Just trust me"she shrugged, laying down to absorb as much sun as she could.
   "I don't. Not even a little bit" he bit back and she laughed.
   If he was honest that moment right there seemed straight out of a book. She laying there laughter filling the air, the sun setting behind them showering them in golden light, the breeze blowing just enough to feel refreshed and light. The flowers, even though they were dying like everything on this planet, still smelled wonderful. It was beautiful.. too bad he cared so little for it.
   "So you're saying that this is a comic book? And what's the plot?" he snickered as he laid down as well. He normally would be so alert and ready to spring at any moment. But seeing her lazing around and being comfortable, made him more lazy as well. Her serenity calmed him oddly enough.
    She shifted to her side, one arm supporting her weight to take a better look at him. She aspect him deeply, as if she was deciding to tell him a secret or not. He didn't know what expression he was wearing, maybe contempt or boredom, but she seemed to find whatever she was looking for. "Well, the zombie apocalypse trope is pretty obvious."
     "Oh really? I hadn't noticed that!"he scoffed
     "Surprise!" She joked back, an ironic laugh leaving her "other than that.. you know the new girl? She is a spy from an opposite camp. The government is scavenging for survivors, the catch? They have limited space. So the smarter thing to do is eliminate the competition, according to them at least. Maniacs all of them if you ask me. Soo, they send her over to deal with us from the inside. Pretty stereotypical, right?"
       His mouth fell open and his eyebrows flew to his hairline. Spy? The government? Every thought he was ready to voice in an rather rude way stayed there, catch in his throat "You are joking..right?"he eventually uttered.
      "Wish I was believe me"she signed.
      He didn't say anything for a while then he just stood up wordlessly and left.
And he had avoided her ever since like she was the plague.
   He had to organize his thoughts. Provided she was telling the truth..how could he prevent the invasion of an enemy camp? How could he make the government pick them? How could he stop the girl? He tried to find a perfect solution only to come up empty.
   He spend many sleepless nights. Okay three to be exact! But he needed the sleep! He had things to do and errands to run but the thing is wherever he went, he kept seeing her. Like fate was playing some twisted game against him. He was helping out with weaponry? She was there. He was keeping watch? She was releasing him of his duties. Heck she even slept two classrooms away he discovered as he went to sleep yesterday and she called out good night to him, making him jump out of his skin and dart inside.
   He was currently in the weaponry area, also known as the janitor's closet and the benches outside of it, as it held the most tools that were of use to them. His unwounded hand served as a painful reminder of that fact. As Felix was tying the rope around two broken broomsticks to serve as a spear that he had no experience handling. The many times he had accidentally sprung it upon random people near him confirmed that so his preference for knives and close range weaponry was clear but as a good fellow he helped. As he was finishing honing the weapon, he realized that she was there too. Brown hair pilled on top of her head in a way too messy bun, white T shirt with patches of dirty stuck on it, clearly stating that she was pulling her weight around the camp and oversized denim jeans shorts that was a clearly bad choice for someone that had to run at the drop of a hat. Was she around that often before? How come he didn't noticed her?
   As he glanced at her, he suddenly met her stare. She blinked slowly at him as a smile spread on her face, a greeting. He immediately turned his head the other way, flustered to be caught looking so obviously at her.
    Instead he focused on the craft in his hands, tying the ropes with way more vigor than necessary. With a few more tugs he was done.
       "Hey-!" He started and paused, barely catching himself. What was his name again? He racked his brain trying to come up with an answer. He had been around this kid 6 months now, they slept at the same classroom and hang out frequently together after a long day's work, so it was not acceptable not to remember his name.
       "Can't remember, can ya?" A low voice whispered to his ear."I am curious though. Whose names do you remember?"
 Upon feeling the low voice on his ear the boy swirled towards her. Of course she made her way from across the closet to sit with him, just so she can spite him.
    He didn't answered her, just squinted his eyes at her. She was getting on his nerves really. All the crazy talk didn't help his situation and now she was popping up everywhere.She was an easy target to get out all his frustration and ire."What the fuck?"
    She titled her head looking at him."You know in the comics you are made out to be such a sweetheart. From up close you are more like an asshole"
    "Fuck off then."he shrugged, curiosity peeked. Sweetheart? Him? That writer ought to get his eyes checked. He maybe had more of baby face, but that meant nothing. It was the freckles, he decided.
     "Nah, assholes are more my type" he let out a huff at her flirty commend. It had been months, a year top, since he was last hit on and she was cute. Too bad she was batshit crazy. "You can't remember his name because he doesn't have one" she resumed.
     "What?"he questioned ,startled.
     "He is an extra, unlike you he doesn't have a set up. He doesn't need a name, he is just there to fill the empty space." She said picking dirty from her nails.
     "Everyone has a name" he refuted, leaning towards her to whisper in her ear. If someone heard them talking they would be deemed as lunatics and  thrown out to the zombies together.
      "Name someone besides your friend group and me"she tutted.
      "Hyunjin,Minho, Seungmin..you want me to continue?" He sassed, relaxing more on the bench he had stationed himself.
      "You don't consider them part of your group?"she asked, an odd expression on her face.
      "We're not that close" he simply answered. They seemed that way? I mean, sure they hang out but if he was made to chose someone to go to with a secret Changbin and Jisung would be it for him. They were the most understanding and kind people he knew.
      "Huh" she seemed lost in her thoughts.
      "What?" He asked again
      "Nothing"she answered "Anyway, don't you want me to show you the proof you asked for? If you come with me tonight I will show you"
      He was suspicious. Things always got messy when she appeared "Where are we going?"
      "To show you the comic,of course" she smiled mischievously.
     "But where?"
     "You'll see"
~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~
    When Felix opened his eyes darkness greeted him.
     Of course it had to be in the middle of the night,he grumbled. Even though he didn't like the events taking place right now he quietly got up, taking extra care as to not wake up Jisung or any of the others sleeping soundly on the floor. The old oil lamp provided the only source of light to help him make his way to the front door. But if he prided himself on something it was how agile he was. Minho once compared him to a cat and even though he would like something more..regal he appreciated the compliment.
     Tippy toeing to the front between the masses of bodies was a piece of cake and soon Felix was closing the door behind him and walking down the hallway. The halls were totally empty, which was an understatement. It still didn't sit right with him to see them empty, though. They usually were filled with ex-students talking and laughing, now the large windows casted an airily glow that creeped him out. He shook his head, deciding to hurry. As soon as he hit the last step he saw you laying down on top of the desk, mere meters from the patched up door that almost went down the other day.
      "Do you do anything besides laying down?" He said announcing his presence as he went to stand over her head, flicking her lightly on the forehead
      She immediately opened her eyes, hands flying to the spot he hit and craned her neck to look at him. "I lay down as often as I can. I don't know about you, but I am not athlete material and this damn world keeps me in my toes"
      He hummed softly. "Where are going?"
      She righted herself on the desk and hoped down, bouncing energetically on her feet. "Follow me, grumpy pants"
      She made a bee line to the window on the right side of the room, opening it and jumping outside. Fortunately the height was not too much for them, so they easily landed in the back area of the school, back when he first caught a glimpse of her.
      "Now we have to climb through that window"she pointed to a ground floor window, similar to the one they just exited. "Once we are in,we just take the stairs to the second floor and turn left and into the library we go!"she word-vomited, unable to stop herself it seemed. She was way too talkative for such late hour.
      "Do you always talk that much?"he wondered as be followed her. She ignored him as she drew closer to the window. She stood still for a second,before muttering something under her breath. She started to walk away from the wall, skipping down the back yard, a loud noice was heard and soon after she come back with a chair in her arms.
      "I swear every time!" She exaggerated.
      "What?"he asked, as she placed the chair under the half open window.
      She stepped on the chair, pushing the heavy window open bit by bit. "When a scene take place, everything that happened on shadow goes back to their original place, so I have to keep carrying the chair back here. It's really annoying " she glanced at him, noticing his confused appearance and explained. "For example, let's say you injury yourself in the shadow.. it won't appear in the scene because the writer didn't mean to write that but if it happens on the scene it's permanent" the window was completely open by the time she finished her sentence,giving her the chance to jump inside.
      Once she jumped into the building she stuck her head outside and shouted "Your turn!"
      So he injured himself in the shadow when he scratched himself on the nails? Was that why the wound disappeared overnight?He climbed on the rusty old chair and easily followed her steps. In mere seconds he stood beside her in the opposite side of the school.
      He was starstruck. The school was.. pristine. That was the exact word that described it. The little furniture that the hall held, such as bookcases and a couple of lockers, were in their normal positions -completely dust and damage free. From the side of his eye he could see the cafeteria were the same applied. The lunch tables and all of their chairs were stacked neatly against each other like waiting for thousand of kids to sit on them and happily eat away the awful cafeteria lunch.
      She was examinating him as he looked around "Weird,huh?" She asked him, his confusion and awe all over his face.
      "Why is the place like that? It is overrunned by zombies. It should have been total chaos in here" he asked as he turned around and around to catch all the little details.
      "Because the writer didn't have a need to write it destroyed. My guess is that he needed a model of a school and that is why that part exists. He technically doesn't need to write this part, but it would be weird not to exist and ta da!!" She exclaimed, jumping light and using flashy jazz hands.
      "Huh.." he marveled, coming back to her side.
      "Ready?" He nodded at her and they started to climb the stairs quietly.
      He had a million things he wanted to ask, still only half believing her. He looked at her back and decided to speak up "How did you figured out?That it was safe I mean?"
      She reflected on the question and answered "It was a month in the comic, after the virus spread. I started to hear noises, time flew right by and I started to get strong headaches..Much like you did."she cocked her head in his direction as she naturally took a left turn to head to the library. "Then it started coming up to me. The truth. Memories. Flashes from the past. And that was it."
      He paused, legs feeling weaker than usual. He grabbed her arm before she could open the double door that lead to the library."What do you mean flashes from the past?"
      She looked at him over her shoulder, a secretive smile on her face "You didn't think that was my first rodeo, right?" She said voice enigmatic and dark, as she pushed the door open.
      The library stayed the same. That was his first thought. The room had a high ceiling making it appear enormous,tall rows of bookcases stretched all over the place, making almost like a labyrinth. The wooden floor and cozy little spots made it more comfortable and warm despite it's intimidating size. In the middle of the room was a small circle, where students could study and lazy around. It was like a day hadn't passed.
      Y/N flew from beside him and headed over the fiction section, searching for something. He followed her as he did most of the evening. She had started talking before he even reached her.
      "The comic book appears here every time..Not the same place everything time though. I tried to take it with me but it won't stay. It just disappears. It's like a treasure hunt every time!" She said, giggling. She was passing rows and rows of books, making sure her hand is brushing every one of them.
      "You said that is not your first rodeo. What does that mean?"he asked carefully.
      Without pausing her stride she answered "I have been in other comics before, the writer likes to use characters from his past books. Lazy bastard. I have been in a college comics. In a mafia one too! Was never the lead though " she murmured the last part.
      Meanwhile Felix didn't know what to say. So this meant she had lived at least 3 lives before this one?
     "So have we met before?" He wondered.
     "Don't think so..I would have definitely remembered you"she stated, making him flush. Red splotches were sprawled all over his face and neck he was sure. It wasn't that he hadn't heard a compliment before, but the way she said she would surely remember him without much explanation hinting he was special enough to be remembered.. he was strangely touched.
      "Here it is!" She exclaimed, jumping up, steadying herself on the lowest shelf and stretching to catch a thin book.She looked at him and cocked her head to the studying area in the middle of the library.
      She reached the desk that was near them and made herself comfortable on top of the desk, instead of a chair. She placed the book beside her and waved him closer. He took a seat in the chair in front at the book and looked at it, a snort leaving him immediately.
      "Deadly love?" He questioned, reading the title.
    "I Know!!!"she yelped, throwing her hands in the air.
    It was small, barely larger than his hand and it's color was black with splatters of red. Blood, he realized. He slowly opened the first page and sketches of familiar faces greeted him. The drawing of Hyunjin and the new girl was the first thing that caught his eye. A few notable info under their sketches, along with their names. In the page next to them he saw his name, along with his friend's and acquaintance's names. He ran his fingers over his own drawing.
    Lee Felix. 18. Friend of Hyunjin, the favorite of the group, a total sweetheart.
    That was it. His whole being summed up in those meaningless words. Rage filled him but he clenched his teeth and suppressed it. Now wasn't the time for that. He turned a page and an other page and an another and an another. Words had left him, numbness had taken over.
     He turned his head towards Y/N, waiting for some guidance or comforting words. He was not sure what look he was displaying but as soon as he turned her hand found home in his shoulder rubbing it soothingly.
    "It's gonna be okay." She muttered voice light and warm, just like that time at the roof. He signed as he brought his hands on his face, rubbing it roughly before regaining control.
    He continued to flip the pages, his fingers brushing against the scenes in which he took part in. He could recognize quite a few events, the scenes which contained the romance between hyunjin and his girl he did not care to read. But what caught his attention was the scenes with you and from the enemy camp. You weren't in many scenes and those you were in, he almost didn't recognize you. You always wore a sneer and pretty much bullying the fuck out of the poor main lead. It was a struck difference between the you, who he saw in the paper and the you, who was looking at him right now. As for enemy camp... the whole plan laid before him and he didn't know what to do with this information.
    "We have to tell someone, do something!"  he protested, glancing up to your figure that was reading along. You were unusually quiet, a far away look in your brown eyes that unsettled him greatly.
     "What would you like to do?"Y/N asked, leaning her weight on her hands that were against the desk casually.
      "We have to tell Chan! We have to kick her out of her and move our camp!"he yelled, unable to hold his temper in check.
       "Very valid points. Do it" she challenged, a airy smile on her face. She suddenly leaned closer to him,face very close to his person, from her place on the desk she looked almost menacing. She almost looked like her book self.
        "Why do I sense a but?"he groaned, exaggerated at this point.
        "They won't listen. You could tell them everything and they won't by the next scene. It is an unfortunate catch of the comic." She hopped down from the desk and she stated circling around him. "Okay, quiz time!"
        He looked at her with a look that said really, but she nodded.
        "Shadow!"
        He let out a long breath and kicked lightly his feet like a fretful child but answered her question nonetheless. "We have free will, can do whatever we want"
        She pumped her fists in the air and with a voice of a bad show presenter she shouted "Correct! What is the noise you hear?"
        "Umm.." he got nothing to show there.
        "Eeech! Incorrect! That the sound of a scene starting. Haven't you noticed you are saying things you don't mean and want when you hear the sounds?" She grabbed the book from his hands and and flipped through stopping at a familiar scene."This is  the scene where Hyunjin tells you about his feelings. You said that you are not close with him, but here you are consoling him. Why? Because the writer made you do it."
         Felix stared the scene before him. It was true that he cared little about such things and he didn't understand the need he had that moment to console him. Was it truly everything a lie? Was such a puppet to the writer?
         "Don't be sad Lixie! We have each other now!" She said throwing an arm around his shoulders, rubbing her cheek against him.
          He right away unwinded her arm from his person and pushed her lightly away. "I don't know you."
          "We can get to know each other. Something tells me that we will be great friends." she beamed at him, still not shying away from him.
          "Why are you so happy all the time? We are ,like, dying"he wondered, making himself comfortable on the chair.
          "My set up is a minor villain as you saw. I am always a bitch on the scenes I am in. Got tired of frowning all the time. You probably won't remember me in the scenes but I always bully the new girl, I am a lackey to Mina.. you know short black hair ? Frowning all the time? Loud as fuck?"
          "Yeah I somewhat remember her..but not you.."he mumbled the last part, hoping she wouldn't hear.
          "Don't sweat it, I am an extra.I am even lucky to get a name" she cackled settling down again,this time beside him."So what you wanna do now? Should I bring other comics?" She asked hopefully.
          He though about arguing with her, but he had nothing better to do."Let me come with you. I don't trust your taste"
          "Romance not your taste Lixie?" She teasingly mocked, looking him through her lashes.
          He rolled his eyes and made his way to the fiction section.
          She giggled and followed him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
      The next few weeks were way more fun than the 6 months he spend here.
      He was way calmer now that he was sure he wasn't losing it. He also was more calm with the whole zombie situation. In the past he jumped at the slightest noise, he was ready to bolt at the drop of a hat. He was scared for his life. Now he laid at the roof, gazing at the horizon. It was funny how things changed.
       Over the past weeks he had gotten a lot closer with Y/N. Unwillingly, he would always claim and she would always smile. During the lunch breaks they would always sneak to the library to lazy around and read some comics. They tried to turn on some devices, Y/N insisting that some may work. A waste of time that was. But he learned that she enjoyed some gaming back in the days, not as much as he did but it would be nice to play together. He wondered what Fortnite would be with her, probably a lot of shouting from him and uncontrollable giggles from her as she messed up. They would always brave the other side of the school as well, finding a lot of lost things in the process. He had discovered a ton of clothes laying around, knifes laying around in the kitchen of the cafeteria, which he tried to sneak over to the other side. All in vain as they were gone by the morning. Y/N had discovered an old radio in the library, probably older than both of them combined, and she had the damn thing blasting all day long. He had tried to throw that blasted thing away only for it to show up in it's place the next noon. While Y/N was happy..him? Not so much... especially cause she turned it even higher in volume, dancing around rhythmically to its beats, causing him a headache, which she quoted was totally deserved. They had discovered cards and board games as well, making the time pass easier. She had found some old pencils and markers in some drawer and had insisted that he would be her model, saying it was her dream once to become an artist. One look at the final result had Felix reaching over and tearing apart the caricature she had drawn, not minding her cries of protest."It gives me the creeps"he had said to her and he was being truthful! She wasn't cut to be an artist in the slightest, after that attempt she had for shaken drawing in favor of other skills.
         A loud noise shook him out of his thoughts. He slowly turned around to see a familiar face enter the rooftop.
       "Hey Mina..I can handle your shift for today..I know you are tired these days, why don't you take a rest?" Y/N sweetly proposed, leaning forward with earnest eyes pined on the other girl.
       "Y/N!! I kinda am, now that you mentioned it" Mina said stretching her sore muscles. "You are such a sweetheart for thinking of me. Thanks dear" she said heading towards the door,sending a flying kiss her way on the way. "Well!..Have fun!"
       "I intend to" Y/N said, wolfishly. She turned to him, already wearing a chesire smile on her face. "Oh Lixie! Look what I have here!" She extended her hand towards him. An pack of Uno cards in her grasp.
       He titled his head and paused. "You agreed to change shifts just to paly Uno with me?" He asked, incredulously.
       "What can I say? I was bored" she shrugged, having already crossed the distance and foldings the cards. "You wanna go first or should I?"
         He rolled his eyes as he settled down as well. "You go"
         "I must warn you though. I am a pro"she challenged, raising her eyebrow.
           "We shall see"he returned.
         Three games later and he still had to won. He threw his head back, a scream bubbling in his throat. "You-you are cheating!"he accused, aggressively pointing at her.
       "No I am not! Now take your six cards like a man!" She protested, eyes sparkling with victory.
            He groaned as he went to draw six more cards-
         Blink.
         Swoosh!
 "Okay guys, here's the plan."
     A couple of students were gathered in the teacher's office. He couldn't get used to this feeling now that he knew what it is. A scene was starting. His gaze darted around taking everything in. He recognized several faces, Chan's, Minho's, Mina's, Spy girl's and finally yours. You looked so different now though. You had that look he only catch a glimpse of in the comic book. Five minutes before your eyes were glistening, you were laughing carefree as you were whooping his ass at Uno. Now your eyes were focused and aggressive, a frown marrying your pretty face, your hair pulled back and your arms crossed. You were ready for battle. Then he realized why. Of course. The supplies. Minho mentioned that they were running dangerously low.
       "We will go to the second floor today. Our goal is mainly canned food. If you can find packaged bread, it's fine too. Y/N and Mina you take the first floor, we have scanned it already but see if you can find some more medicine." Chan explained. Short and to the point as always. "You ready? All got your tools?" He received nods from all around.
       Before he could say anything or catch your gaze-
       Swoosh!
     They stood before the market already. He wanted to turn and look at you, but his face stayed turned straight, his knuckles turning white from his fierce grip on his knife.
        Chan turned and pointed to the entrance. Words were a threat right now, not a friend. All together they started to enter the building. It once was a market place filled with everything you could imagine from painkillers to furniture, now it was all past glory. Half the lights were shut or shattered making the place plunged in darkness, the rows of shelves were half-empty or cluttered from the many hands that went through them. Many products were on the floor, some opened and thrown away in it's previous owner's hurry, making the stench so strongly that a few of them had to place a cloth over their nose. Quickly they ascended the stairs, his vision of the girls downstairs gone. He had a bad feeling, he didn't want to be there for a second more but his feet wouldn't listen to him. So even though he wanted to stop and run the other way, he continued searching rows and rows of products.
       Four minutes in, he had his bag full and was ready to go. Now he thought about it, this must be the work of the writer- a never ending of supplies abandoned super market. But the run here was too uneventful. He tapped Chan on the shoulder, jerking his head towards the staircase. The older male nodded as well and hand-gestured the rest of the team to follow. When they were in the middle of the staircase a loud noise alerted them and the inhuman grunt that followed filled them with even more dread. Running as fast and noiseless as they could, they made bee line to the exit. That's when the thought popped up in his head.
       No! Y/N is still in there! He willed his feet to stop running, to turn the other way but they failed him miserably. His breath started coming quicker than normal, his palms sweating. He had to find a way in! But the damn scene wasn't ending! From the side of his eye, he saw a lone petite figure darting towards the direction of the other girls. But that was the last thing he saw before his traitorous feet carried him outside. As soon as they were outside Chan shouted" The girls" and started to make his way inside yet again but Minho, ever the strategist, stopped him by shaking his head.
        "It's too late now Chan"he whispered, already closing the large doors sealing them inside, making them safe and sealing the girls' fate.
       No..no! This couldn't be happening, would he lose her? He couldn't lose her... Panic choked him, tears sprung to his eyes and his damned feet still wouldn't move! He closed his eyes, shoulders dropping waiting for the known sound to end the scene so he could fall apart.
       "Hurry! Come on! Come on!" A feminine voice yelled, sounds of feet stomping to them was the only other sound be heard.
       "You escaped!" Chan said, slumping with relief.
     He turned to look at them.
     All of you reached them,out of breath and clutching each other tightly as you answered like one, but the noise was too loud for them to hear. Felix couldn't believe the relief that he felt. You were there, albeit dirty,sweaty and nearly slumped over from the exhaustion but you were there-safe.
      "I saw the zombie going to them! So I threw an cup or whatever that was near me to the opposite side. The zombie got distracted by the sounds and forgot about us. We heard the door closing so we hid in the back room and we escaped from the window there." Spy Girl said.
      "Thank you..You saved us"Mina said, you nodding repeatedly from beside her, still visibly trembling.
 "I did what anyone would do" she replied, rocking on her heels with a big smile on her face.
       Swoosh!
 Felix felt like he could finally breath. He couldn't wait until they were alone. "Y/N!" He dived immediately to her,cradling her face in his hands. After a good look on her face, he run his hands across her trying to find fault. "You okay?Are you hurt?" His hands roamed all over her, not wanting to hurt her but still wanting to check. They settled on her forearms shaking her lightly. "Y-Y/N?" He asked again when he didn't get an answer. He grinded his teeth, getting impatient.
      "I am fine Lixie." She willed herself to respond. But he saw her, her skin was ashen and her eyes filled with unreleased tears. He wanted to comfort her first, but his feelings got the best of him.
         "What the fuck! You could have gotten killed! Why didn't you tried to run?!" He spatted at her, tightening his hands on her for a moment before letting her go. He stayed close, too close for comfort but not close enough for his. He run his hands through his hair, tugging it roughly. He couldn't stay still, body filled with adrenaline.
           She lowered her head, staring at her feet. Totally avoiding eye contact. "For the same reason you didn't come back to help" she whispered back. That, right there, was a stab right at his heart. He kept quiet out of frustration. He wanted to help, he sweared he did but his feet were nailed to the ground!
        She looked at him through her lashes, shoulder hitting him gently. "I am fine. Really"
She offered a smile, more shaky and uncertain than her usually cheeky a d mischievous one, but he would take what he could get.
      Wordlessly he snaked his hand over her shoulders, cuddling her to his side. He couldn't get over this feeling that washed over him, he needed her near right now. Only she could make the bad feeling go away.
         "Eeeh... shall we go back now that everyone is here?" Chan proposed. Everyone eagerly nodded their consent and rushed to get away from the store.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~
     They barely made it inside when everyone flew off, the scene no longer binding them together until they were the only ones in the hall. Felix tugged her hand, that he now realized he never had let go of, cocking his head towards the window. Y/N paused for a moment before nodding and following him.
      After helping her get out of the window, he went to find the stupid chair that kept disappearing.It was out of habit now, the drill between them known for a while. They climbed in silently and made their way up together. He didn't like the silence, he got so used to her talking a mile a minute. Now she was out of words it seemed, and that alone scared him. He let go of her hand that he had grabbed yet again without his knowledge and pushed the double doors open. The library seemed especially inviting today. Warm sunlight showering every corner of the place, wooden floors almost shinning in response to the exposure. They had left several pieces of clothing over the time but they kept disappearing so the place was too clean for his taste. He ushered her in the middle and made her take a sit in a chair in front of him. He awkwardly crouched before her wanting to look at her.
       "Hey" he whispered, reaching a hand to pull her hair away from her face. He placed his hand against her cheek turning her head lightly to him. She was still shaken up. His other hand found way to her thigh rubbing soothing circles to calm her down. "You are okay now Y/N"
          Her only response was a nod as she stared off to space. She looked at him, but not really.
        "Do you wanna talk about it?" He continued, still running soothingly circles over her leg.
        She swallowed thickly before opening her mouth. "I thought I was done for Felix. I t-thought my time was u-up." She said, still looking off to space.
       "Look at me" Felix whispered, guiding her face to his. He placed his forehead against her and closed his eyes, hoping this would ground her as much it grounded him."You are here. With me. Nothing bad happened. You are here"he repeated, feeling her rigid body calm a bit, shoulders slumping and hearing her repeat "with you" made something snap in him.
       Maybe it was the fear he felt today at the thought that he lost her , maybe it was the thought what would he do in this place without her and her company keeping him warm or maybe it was how beautiful she looked with her flushed cheeks and red bitten lips but he felt that if he didn't feel them on his right that second he would explode.
          "Y/N..."he breathed out. Maybe it was his tone or the way his breath caught up she seemed to realize what he wanted. Because now that her watery eyes opened they met his longing stare and fleeted down to his half open lips.
        He hesitated as he cradled her face, angling her face to his own. But the bashful smile on her face and her already closed eyes spurred him to lean forward and close the distance between their lips. He gently pressed his mouth to her, just a gentle warm touch. She  tasted fresh like running water and something entire her and he was immediately sold. Their lips brushed against each other slowly, dancing to their own tempo until he felt her tongue on his lip, asking him to deepen their kiss, which he gladly accepted. They mouths classed perfectly, her hands were embracing him pulling him closer and he was in turn caressing every inch he could get hold of. Her cold hands gently touched his neck and chin causing him to shudder and her to smile. She broke away to take a much needed breath and looked at him, wearing that heart-stopping smile. She suddenly jumped into his arms, making him lose balance and fall to the hard wood floor. Any other day he would have been pissed, now he laughed wholeheartedly as he trapped her in his embrace . She signed with content and hide her face in the crook of his neck.
      "Can we stay like that for a while?"
      "As long as you would like,love"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A few more weeks passed filled with laughter and secret rendezvous. Their days were mostly spend in the library chilling. They would lazy around ,reading or playing cards. Felix quickly learned that you were too good of a player. Experience- you claimed from the days were you would gamble away in the mafia world. You had also gotten your hands upon some crafts books you wanted to try drawing skills long forgotten,but the result was hundreds paper cranes floating around the library. He had tried to join you but after 3 disfigured cranes, he decided that he had had enough choosing instead to lay there as you crafted away. His favourite past time thought would be the time you spend in each other's embrace,kissing away the anxiety and loving each other. Funny, he thought, I didn't think I would be as open to affection as Y/N was. There was not a minute he wasn't touching you in some way that would be either a arm thrown over your shoulders or placed on your waist or simply his lips against yours. You were inseparable.
     You didn't even separate in sleep. Y/N would always end up in his blanket, either she was there talking with him and his friends and she would simply doze off there or she would be in the door with her own blanket waiting for someone to let her in, just like an oversized puppy. The first few times Changbin and Jisung threw some questioning looks at him but after a few days they welcomed you in just as often. They even remembered your name after using so much time in the shadow.
      Right now you were laying side by side on the library floor, the sun warming your figures, almost lulling you to sleep.At least one of you.
     "Lixiee" a whiny voice penetrates his eardrum. He ignored said voice with the hope of catching some sleep."Lixie I know you're not sleeping." She said drawing closer, half laying on top of him
         "How?"he said not bothering to open his eyes. He was so relaxed right now that every small movement was a promise of pain.
         "You snore when you sleep" she sassed back, now poking at his ribs.
        "I do not snore"he protested lazily,finally turning his head to look at her laying in his arms all snuggly and adorable.
        "Made you look through"she said, playing with his T shirt sleeve.
          He half laughed half signed. He laid his head back down staring blankly at the ceiling. "What you wanted?" he asked, raising an arm to caress her hair.
         "I found a book-" he groaned without hearing the rest "you didn't even let me finish!" She jokingly protested, mirth dancing in her brown eyes.
          He stopped faking his death to let her finish her sentence. "I found a book about dancing-" on que he started to groan louder.
      "Ohh come on! We didn't held any dances before this whole fiasco started"she protested, crossing her arms and adoring a pout on her face.
     Felix looked at her being all pouty for a dance. He turned on his side, jutting out his arms to support his weight. "What kind of dance?" he asked out of curiosity.
  Her eyes immediately light up. She turned the book to him showing off a page of a pair-
"Waltzing!" She cried out, grinning
      He looked at the page. He could waltz.. it was just staying in place and twirling her around. His eyes fleeted to hers, watching her practically vibrate. "Okay" he agreed.
     She let out a small cry, kissing him swiftly and darted from her seat on the floor in search of something. A beat later he heard a melody playing in the background. The radio.       A melancholic yet passionate tone was swirling in the air now, the sun was hitting just right and Y/N approaching him with graceful strides and a sweet smile on her face made Felix feel fuzzy and warm inside.
    "Can I have this dance, kind sir?" She lightly bowed, stretching her hand out to him. She looked at him through her lashes, eyes filled with stars and smile with mischief.
    He let out a happy puff of air "Well of course" he stood up and pulled her close, placing his hand on her waist. She stepped even closer,not an inch separating their bodies, placed her hand on his shoulder and whispered "To my left". And they started waltzing. Their first circle was kind of awkward as they didn't know what exactly they were doing, but as the second circle rolled in they were gliding across the wooden floor more smoothly. The sound of Waltz no. 2 that filling the air covered their delighted giggles and accompanied their longing gazes.
    She never looked more beautiful than right now, he thought. Darks eyes locked on his, never breaking contact, her hands that were always running a few degrees colder than his,were pulling him closer,now thrown over his shoulder playing with his hair. Her own glossy dark hair were swaying around her, caressing him as they moved around. She looked adorable with her white tee and great sweatpants that she clutched like an evening gown. He was beyond happy in this moment. The world may be damned, but he felt a new kind of hope now.
    He suddenly grabbed her by the waist , hosting her up in the air and twirled her around. She was startled for a moment , before throwing her head back and let out a loud laugh. He carefully set her down and as the song drew to its peak and great ending, he dipped her gently.
    Her brown eyes were half closed, her pupils dilated and lips half open inviting him in. He dipped even further and closed the distance between them kissing her with all he got. All the emotion he felt in that moment convened in the pressing of his lips and tightening of his hands around her.
      He eventually let go of her lips to get some necessary air into his lungs. Eyes still closed as savoring the moment ,they righted their postures. They didn't let go of each other right away, just stood there gazing at each other's eyes. She tip toed to press a lingering kiss on his lips "That was fun" she said, rocking back and forth in his arms  "we should do it more often"
     "As you wish, my lady" he whispered leaned in for more sweet kisses.
~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~
Swoosh!
As soon as Felix gained consciousness he was sure of 3 things. Firstly, that awful sound in his ears is the sound of a scene starting, secondly, even if he couldn't move his head to check, he was sure you weren't beside him sleeping as he last remembered and thirdly, something very bad was happening.
     "Guys! We got to go! We are under attack! Get up, we got to go!" An alarmed Hyunjin that moments before burst into the room, shouted, shaking unconscious students awake with force.
      "Who is attacking us?!" Changbin asked in a horrified stupor.
       Hyunjin threw a glance over his shoulder to a girl half hidden behind him."I will explain later. Now we got to hurry!" He said already taking off to wake the others.He unwillingly got up and followed suit. He ran to the closest classrooms, waking up other unsuspecting students all the while trying to catch a glimpse of you. Panic had taken over everyone,the entire school was up and running but that was nothing until they heard the sounds of engines running. He threw himself against the nearest window and watch with horror as enormous car decorated with spikes and wire netting tore it's way through the front gates, letting the enemy in as well as dozens upon dozens of zombies.
A arm grabbed his own and for a moment he thought that the scene was over and you were grabbing him trying to get him away from the horrors. But the hope fell through as Changbin shouted his name and for him to focus. He continued running not knowing where he was going. He was starting to panic as well he didn't know what would they do and more importantly he didn't know where you where. None of the students he helped were you. He knew that your classroom when you didn't sleep with him was on this floor so logically you would be safe..
     But the panic he felt before was nothing compared to the one he was feeling now as he heard the screams that accompanied the gunshots. He exchanged a petrified look with Changbin and they run."What is happening?" He screamed, feeling helpless.
    "I don't know man, just run!"he yelled, clearly as overwhelmed as he felt.
 "Felix! Changbin!" A yelp was heard from behind them. As soon as they turned they spotted Chan running to them. "An enemy camp has invaded ours. They have guns and they are killing everyone that crosses their eyes. Hyunjin told to gather you all in the roof that-that the government is going to pick us up,that they are looking for survivors!Try to avoid anyone strange looking...and don't go on the first floor.Please" he said.The next second he threw himself at us, clutching us tight. "I will see you on the roof. But... "He trailed off looking as if he couldn't keep in the tears.
     "Go. We will be right behind you" Changbin said returning the hug. Felix clutching him just as tight. He looked at them one last time and sped off.
Swoosh!
Finally!
Felix was ready to take off. He had wasted precious time already in this fucking bullshit, he cared enough for Chan to appreciate this small moment, but he needed to find you. He took a total of 3 steps before an arm wrapped around his.
    "What?" he snapped, almost seeing red.
Changbin didn't move an inch."Where the fuck you going Felix?"
      "I have to find Y/N"he said trying to break free from the boy"I-I have to find her!"he shouted
       "We have to get to the roof"Changbin said, determinated. Felix managed to shrugged him off, adrenaline coursing through his veins.
        "You go first. I..I can't leave without her Binnie" he begged him, the desperation on his face evident. The older boy took a step back, a stern expression on his face that Felix hasn't associated with him. "Don't fight a losing battle" he warned "I will wait for you upstairs. I will wait for you man" he finally said , quickly hugging him once again and turned around, disappearing in the dark.
    As soon as Changbin left his sight , he run. He jogged all around the place, hiding himself at the slightest sound. He was brave enough to do this for you, he reminded himself. The fear of a bullet through his brain was not enough to hold him back.So he continued running, his eyes missing nothing. He met a lot of students, terrified and trembling on different corners of the school so he explained as fast as he could and sent them on their way. But there was no sign of you. He checked everywhere,on the teacher's office,on the janitor's closet, on every classroom...that left him with only one opinion.
     He rocked on his heels, trussing his hair before making the decision. You were worth the risk, so as quietly he could he went down the stairs.
      As he made his way down the first thing that hit was the stench. Copper and gun fire. The second thing he noticed was that no one was there except fallen bodies. Tears sprung to his eyes. He knew this people, he talked to them hours before and now they were lifeless masses on the floor because of a massacre. He swallowed and made himself look at their faces. No sign of you but this time he was relieved. "Y/N!" He whispered-shouted, scanning the place once again.
"Fe-Felix!" A voice called out, weak, barely managing to speak up so he can notice. But he noticed, he swung his head to the direction of their window. He run so fast he didn't notice the trail of blood he run through, until he jumped out of the window and he saw you.
    You were laying just beside the window, clearly not having any more strength to pull yourself further away, looking like a total mess. Your hair disheveled beyond saving, skin ashen almost a sickly white, your lips that were usually smiling were twisted in a grimace, but you were alive.
      "Y/N!" He couldn't stop himself he immediately threw his hands around you, holding you tight but your response was one he didn't expect. A loud pained groan left your lips ,your whole body tensing. "Y-Y/N?" He stuttered, feeling lost. Until he saw the way you held yourself, the dried blood in your chin and lips ,but most importantly the flesh blood that was pooling in your stomach region.
      "Why are you here,love?" She asked placing a cold hand on his cheek, caressing him lovingly. "You are supposed to be on the roof from what I heard"
      "I came to get you.Come on hang on to me, I can carry you up. Come on" he said, trying to place her hand around a his shoulders, but he only felt her tense more, pain filling her. He tried to snake his hands under her legs and host her up but it ended the same.
        "Lixie-"she started but he shushed her. He tried to collect her in his arms again, but he could feel how heavy her body was, how she couldn't control her movements.
       "No!No no no no!No!" He chanted, as he capped her face "You have to get up, we have to get out together! I will dance with you every day! I will play cards with you! I will cook for you!You won't have to do anything! Just" he sobbed, tears he could no longer hold now were freely flowing. " Just stay with me. Please Y/N"he cried, willing her to live with him.
   "Felix,look at me" she breathed. He shook his head, burrowing his head in the crook of your neck, hugging you, breathing you in. He felt your lips at his temple and your weak arms wrapping themselves around him. "I will try to remember you in our next life. I will remember you." She promised. He pulled himself back and gave her a tearful smile.
     "And I will remember you, my love. I will remember you" he promised and leaned down to connect their lips one last time.
Swoosh!
He blinked.
He was on a helicopter, looking down at the school along with some of the others. He recognized Chan and Minho, who were going from person to person trying to reassure and comfort. He spotted Jisung and Changbin close by him, Hyunjin and his girl huddled in a corner clutching each other but he turned away , not standing the sigh of them. He turned his attention to the school below him. Now a graveyard for the fallen ones. A place that will always remind us of our loved ones.
Tears filled his vision.
Goodbye my love , he thought. I will find you again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~
Swoosh!
Blinding lights was the first thing he saw. Music was the first thing he heard. Something heavy on his person was the first thing he felt.
He opened his eyes and he was in awe.
They first thing he did was look down only to see a heavy armor surrounding him. It was all silver metal with gold finishings. A sword was fastened in the armor, he was sure it weighted the same amount as him, if it wasn't even heavier.Then he looked up to see where he was.
A palace. He was in a real life palace. It was pristine. White walls with golden details engraved in complicated designs stretched over the walls. The ceiling was high up, so the enormous golden chandelier had more room to extend all over the people dancing. They all glided so gracefully on the marble floor as thought they didn't touch it.
 Every girl was dressed in long regal dresses which when they moved on the dance floor twirled around them making them look like fairies, every man had a three piece suit and while they were magnificent they looked like the belonged in a medieval play. All had adored masks, some were more plain but still painfully beautiful with golden or silver details, others had chosen more bold colours with feathers and glittery dust decorating them. He could spot figures with plainer clothes and simple masks carrying traits and drinks. Servants,he thought. With an other quick look around he spotted men dressed in the same silver armor he wore.
Upon a elevated space was a seat fit for a king. On its sides sat two smaller seats,not less regal. All had crimson cushions and gold details as well. Gold must be their thing,he thought. Two tall guards stood behind the thrones wearing an even heavier armor than his.
Great. Zombie apocalypse first, now Arthur and the round table. Excellent.
He leaned against the wall he was by and gazed at the crowd. He didn't see anyone he knew as he didn't know what was he supposed to do here.
He didn't much attention to his surrounding until he felt a presence stop before him.
"Can I have this dance, kind sir?" a melodious voice echoed.
 He pinned her with his eyes "Y/N?" Voice lashed with doubt he called her.
A black mask with silver details hide her face, but he could recognize that eyes. He would never forget those eyes.
He looked at her. Not believing that she stood before him, alive and well.He stared with vigor trying to erase the last memory of her bleeding at the ground and burn this one to his memory.
A silver tiara sat on top of glossy brown hair that were curled to perfection, her face although hidden by the mask was alluring completed by a set of rubby red lips. Her gown was amazing black velvet and tulle were wrapped around her in a perfect balance. If the other girls looked fairies, she looked like a queen. A dark queen of vengeance.
"The one and only" she smirked, extending her hand. In his stupor he took it and stepped in the dance floor with her. She placed her right hand on his shoulders, fingers immediately starting to play with his hair and left hand placed in his. He tightened his arms around her in a daze.
"You are here" the stupid smile didn't leave his face. She was here, her cold hands clutching his and looking him like he hung the stars. "I am so sor-"
 "Lixie shhh. No. None of that. We are here. Together" they circled the dance floor twice by now and whispers started to arise, following them as they started their third round.
"Together" he agreed.
"What is going on here?" He lowered his head placing on top of hers. She hid her face on his neck, placing a sweet kiss there making him flush.
"You are my knight in shining armor" she sung. "You are in for a surprise, knight"
"What?"he leaned back to take a good look at her. She smiled and opened her mouth-
  Swoosh!
He was back by the wall in what he assumed was his post. As soon as the scene started trumpets started playing announcing the entrance of the royal family. First entered the king, the tall man with a golden crown on his head had no mask for he had no need for it. He was the king you could see it in the way he moved. Second entered the queen, a beautiful woman that age hadn't touched yet. She was the epitome of grace. And lastly entered the princess-
Y/N?!
Her figure glad in all black gazed at the crowd with boredom and disinterest. She swept the dance floor who had frozen in their spots upon the entrance, over the guests. Her gaze caught his own for a brief moment her intense gaze piercing him. She lightly squinted her eyes at him and gave him a hint of a smile, then she was gone. She climbed on the marble pondium along with her parents' and sat on the left plush throne by her father. She got comfortable on her chair, took a glass of wine and observed.
 Quite some time passed and while Felix didn't always look at your side, everytime he did he met your stare. You looked at him like a cat that was looking at their milk, if it was anyone else he would be uncomfortable but he was actually enjoying your attention. He could get used to having scenes with you.
Clink clink!
The king stood up, clinking his goblet earning everyone's attention."My dear subjects! We have gathered here today to celebrate my daughter's birthday. This year as she is turning eighteen she will be choosing a husband to take! And he is here tonight!" His voice echoed throughout the ballroom. Husband? A shot of fear passed through him. We would have to antagonize a husband now?
"I shall go to him now,father. To my future husband and king. He shall be the only one I marry" a snarky voice was heard. And a blackened figure aroused.
She started to make her way through the crowd, everyone parting to make way for the future queen. A black dream through and through. Her black heels echoed as she walked and walked. Her figure was nearing him, he could see her face now, smirk intact, figure straight with pride and experience he was sure. Thoughts were swirling in his head until her figure stopped before him. Now his head was empty, empty of all except her.
 "He will be my husband" she said, manicured hand pointing straight at him.
 She smiled at him as hush whispers surrounded.
While on the outer side he wore a shocked expression,he smiled back from the inside and he was sure she knew.
He could get used to this comic, he thought.

It’s saturday. Meaning for now, it’s a free day to do whatever till university work starts getting hectic and luna and eunbi barely see each other except for meal time, which even that is different for both of them most times.
Since they had the day off, eunbi and luna spent the majority of the morning cleaning the apartment. Deep cleaning. Luna’s favourite and eunbi’s most hated chore.
The two are very lenient when it comes to house chores. They each have their part. Luna cooks most meals, organizes and cleans. Eunbi tidies up and does the dishes, as well as keep an eye on the instant ramen and snacks stored. Whenever either gets busy, the other carries their role with no bother. Their living dynamics works very well, and they’re both very comfortable in it. Deep cleaning is mostly luna’s thing, but eunbi insists on helping every time, mostly with things like carrying the couch back so they don’t drag it across the floor or so luna doesn’t keep going back and forth. She also helps put things back into their place when luna is done.
Laundry is usually done depending on the load. If it’s a bigger load, luna is more patient with separating and doing a few washes. If it’s a smaller load, eunbi takes over.
They’re usually done by noon, if eunbi had slept, they’d both go grocery shopping, if not luna would go alone. Today it was the latter.
“Text me anything you want that’s not on the list.” luna pokes eunbi as she exits the bathroom after her shower.
The list on the white magnetic board on the fridge. The one they use to note things for each other like, ‘we need yoghurt’ or ‘i left some food for you, have a proper breakfast, not cereal’
Luna goes into her room, coco following behind, she unwraps the towel over her hair and brushes it through after putting in her products.
She ruffles up her curls a little before pulling out some clothes. Before the grocery store she needs to take coco on a walk since she wasn’t able to this morning due to their cleaning. So she needed something comfortable.
She pulled out a fitted dark grey long sleeved square neckline top and loose grey jeans. Upon changing she didn’t bother taking off her house shorts, since they were already men’s briefs and she would be wearing them again in a few hours. The pants hung too loose though so she tried to find the only belt she had. She couldn’t, probably somewhere at the bottom of her closet but she couldn’t bother to push through and look for them.
She threw her shirt on and slipped on some socks with her platform white shoes to keep her pants from dragging over the ground. Most of her shoes were chunky or platform because most of her pants were long and baggy. That lead to her never being her height and constantly looking taller. Always escaping the 5’5 allegations, it started off unintentionally but she started liking always having to look down at people instead, self conceited but fun.
She put her skincare on and a very light tap of blush. She didn’t bother with anything else but her brows since she’ll be wearing sunglasses anyway.
She diffused her hair and tucks some of it behind her ear, curls constantly falling in her face. She pulled out coco’s collar, just then noticing the grey that matched her dog’s hair also matched her outfit.
“Coco we’re matching,” she coos at the uninterested dog who was just happy at the sight of her collar. She secures it around her neck as her phone dings.
Checking it, she saw a text from eunbi with the things she wanted, she adds them to the list once she receives another text.
Eunbi: pay with our card, don’t be sneaky
Luna smiles as she slips her phone and card holder in her pockets. They sit comfortably, how wonderful men’s pants are.
She slips her headphones on and exits with coco’s leash in hand. They take a nice long walk for 30 minutes, with a quick park stop for coco to roll around the grass a little since she’ll be given a shower tonight anyway.
Coco likes night shower, why? It’ll always be a mystery. But whenever she takes her showers at night it’s like she’s given an extra life, she’s enjoying the air from the blow drier and jumping around. she’s bouncy and cuddly and gets very playful. Whenever she showers in the morning she hates, she barks and tries to attack the blow dryer despite her being a very calm dog most of the time. She likes to be left alone and not touched and eats very little. Almost reminds her of eunbi.
After their quick park stop, luna passes by the cafe to grab a coffee before she heads back to drop coco off and go to the store. She pushes the door open a little hesitantly, she doesn’t want to be told to leave because of coco and the owner had no signs on whether pets were allowed or not. She pauses her music on her way in.
With coco tucked in her arm, tail happily wagging with her tongue stuck out in exhaustion, she goes up to the counter, the girl behind the counter recognizes her and instantly notices the dog in luna’s arms.
She puts her hands over her mouth at the sight, “oh hello.” she coos at coco which gives luna instant relief. “What’s her name?” she asks luna as she extends her hand but doesn’t touch, probably to keep her hands clean for the customers. “Coco.” luna replies with a smile.
“Hi coco,” she uses a baby voice this time. “I’m sorry, what can i get you?” she apologizes getting ready to punch in her order. “It’s okay, i was a little worried she wouldn’t be allowed.” luna says patting coco’s head.
“Oh no they’re allowed. Even if they weren’t she would be. Right coco?” luna smiles gratefully at the gesture. “I’ll have an iced latte with almond milk and a water please. But in a cup not a bottle.”
“Absolutely, anything else?”
“No thank you,” luna handes her card to the lady as she scans it. As she hands her the card and receipt back she asks, “can i ask what your name is?”
“Aera.” she replies with a smile making luna nod and smile back. “I’m luna.”
“That’s a very pretty name.”
“Oh, thank you.”
“I’ll get your drink ready.” Aera steps back and luna moves to the pick up spot to wait.
“Hey luna, “
Luna turns around to see changbin standing behind her with both hands in his pocket. He had on black jeans and a light wash denim button up. His hair was dishevelled, his eyes were a little puffy. It looked like he woke up not too long ago.
“Hi changbin.” his eyes shoot to the dog in her hands, luna notices, and offers “do you wanna pet her?” changbin looks from the dog to luna as he nods in question.
“Yeah go ahead, she’s a people person.” at thank changbin scratches coco’s head and she leans into his touch making him smile.
“What’s her name?” he asks looking up at lun from where he leaned to be eye level with coco.
“Her name’s Coco,”
“Iced americano, iced latte with almond milk and a water.”  changbin steps aside to grab his coffee, luna following. She places the plastic cup of water on the floor for coco and places the dog down to hydrate after her long walk.
Changbin stares at the dog as she drinks. “How old is she?”
“She’s three,” luna replies taking a sip of her coffee. Tastes so good after such a long morning with more chores left to do.
“Oh she’s so tiny,” he points out bending to pat her head as she drink.
“Yeah they don’t grown much more than this. She has so much life in her though, she goes feral when we’re play fighting.” luna points out making him chuckle.
“How was your first week?” changbin asks as he stands up, placing a hand in his pocket as he grips his cup in the other.
“It was fine, nothing too extreme happened, how was yours?” luna leans her weight on one foot as she crosses her arm under her other one that had her coffee.
“It was fine, have 3 courses i already hate”
“Oh that was quick.” she jokes making him snort. “Yeah, but it’s okay though, they seem relatively easy.” she nods not knowing exactly how to carry the conversation past that.
“I’ll get back to my friend, he's waiting for me, have a nice rest of the day.” changbin points to a table behind where an unfamiliar boy sat on his phone. “Yeah, you too.” she politely responds and he bends down to give the dog who was now lying patiently on the floor one last pat on the head.
“Bye coco, bye luna.”
“Bye changbin.”
Luna picks up her dog along with the now empty cup as she turns to try and spot the cashier, “bye Aera,” she calls out when she does. Aera turns around to see her and waves at her. Luna discards the cup before leaving.
Once outside, she places coco back on the floor, her leash in hand as they make their way back home. Once her paws are cleaned up, leash off and her bed and toys are pulled out from under the couch for her. “Your bowls are both full in the kitchen okay baby. Don’t bother aunty eunbi.” luna coos at coco as she places a kiss on top of her head. “She’ll eat you.” she jokingly whispers to the dog who pulls a fearful face.
She chuckles giving her one last kiss before heading out again but with her bag and two folded tote bags this time. Since she doesn’t take any transportation to the store she always has to walk back to the apartment with the bags of food, and based off past experiences, those plastic bags are not strong enough to last the whole way back.
She has since learned to take two big tote bags to put everything in to make the trip back easier and less frantic. All the strength training in the gym is really paying off in these weekly grocery store trips.
The walk to the grocery store is a little over 15 minutes. The weather is nice and the sun isn’t too hot, so it’s a nice walk. Luna enjoys trips to the grocery store, it’s one of her favourite things. She’s grown up cooking and baking with her mum and grandmother, being an only child for so long her mum and grandmother always catered to her and had time for her. Her favourite memories growing up were in the kitchen with her grandmother.
From helping ice the birthday cakes, mixing the batter, to being the one to press the on button on the mixer to make the soup, to being the one to cook and bake for them when she goes back home. Growing up, Luna was always close to her family, always loved and protected them just how they loved and protected her. So many of her memories that she loves and looked back at when she would feel homesick were with her family. She loved them dearly and wholly. They were always the ones she would turn to and still are.
So the little things like baking, cooking, going to the grocery store, taking a walk in the early morning like she always did with her grandmother back home, these were all things that grounded her really well and she couldn’t let go of them.
Upon arriving at the store, she pulls out a cart and begins picking up all the things missing at home. She even derives from the list and picks up some things she recalls eunbi and her liked. When she passed by the spices section she halted for a bit, not used to the selection. She used to bringing all the spices she uses and they have at home when she travels or when eunbi’s mum visits, but since neither has happened in the past few months they were left to the demise of grocery store selection, which to be fair, is a lot better than luna had thought would be.
“Is there anything specific you need?” after a few minutes of staring down the spices whilst only picking out sesame seeds and hot chilli flakes, she can understand why she would seem lost to the workers. But when she turns around she isn’t faced with a worker, but just a random guy standing next to her in a black shirt and grey sweatpants. He stood only a few inches taller than her with his arm leaned over his own half full cart. He had a lot of meat stacked up with beer and other side items. She didn’t look, it was just hard not to notice.
“You don’t work here.” she stated pointing at his attire, “i’m just helping no need to make it weird.” he joked making her reach up to pause her music and cross her arms.
“Forceful, aren’t we?” she points out, making him laugh, “if you’re good i’ll just keep going.” he states pointing to the end of the aisle where he was headed.
“Keep going then,” she steps aside, allowing him space to walk past, but he doesn’t. “What? Stuck to the ground?” she asks him, raising her brows.
“Wow, you’re funny,” he says but she can’t tell if he’s being genuine or sarcastic. “So i’ve been told.” she stares him down.
“Alright i’ll get going, don’t wanna bother you,” he says pushing his cart to begin to move before she replies, “too late,” he chuckles looking away and gives her a nod making her scrunch her face up.
She wasn’t actually bothered, she just doesn’t like overly confident guys.
After he’s gone she picks up two packs of crushed nori, garlic and onion powder and moves on. She grabs the rest of the list, picks up some liquid soup and stacks up on eunbi’s favourite iced tea that tastes like bitter cough drop syrups and checks out. Obviously using their shared card for bills and utilities.
When done she packs everything into the tote bags, but makes sure anything breakable is wrapped in plastic bags before she leaves. The trip back home is a little longer, mainly because of the extra weight added on.
Halfway through Luna pauses, as she usually does, to take a quick break. She halts for a minute or so before she’s back to moving again. She arrives home, takes a quick look around the hallway before entering the code into the security and carrying the bags inside being greeted by coco who pattered around her all the way to the kitchen.
Once inside she tosses her hair up and starts putting everything away, when she’s done she begins making dinner. She decided on miso ramen since eunbi had been talking about it a lot recently and there wasn’t anything specific luna craved.
She connects her phone to the speaker but doesn’t turn the music up too loudly so she doesn’t wake up eunbi before the food is ready and she’s rested enough. It takes around 40 minutes to get everything done and ready. She goes to change before she wakes eunbi. Clothes off, folded and house shirt back on, then she’s off to proceed waking her roommate up with caution.
When she enters the room it’s pitch black, she almost got a heart attack when she thought all the clothes piled up on the desk chair is a person.
“Eunbi,” she calls softly as she reaches the bed, shaking the girl a little before she grumbles, “get up it’s past 5,” she whispers again but gets nothing in return but eunbi covering her head in the covers.
“Yah, eunbi” she’s a little louder this time. “I made food,” at that she hears her clear her throat, “what’d you make?”
“Miso ramen.”
In the blink of an eye luna is pushed aside as eunbi’s feet patter against the floor as she hurries to the kitchen. “Bitch,” luna chuckles as she takes the covers off the floor and tosses them on the bed.
She goes out to join a no longer grumpy looking eunbi at the table who was sitting with her chopsticks in one hand, soup spoon in the other, waiting for luna.
“Thank you for waiting,” luna chuckles as she sits down and they both start eating, “of course, i’m a loyal friend.”
“Of course you are,”
They eat in silence with very minimal talking, luna exhausted from a long day and eunbi still being half asleep.
By the time the dishes were washed and everything was in place, the left over ramen place in the fridge and being left with nothing to do, both girls ended up on the couch with coco on luna’s lap.
Eunbi sighs heavily as she leans into the couch cushions enough for them to lock her in place, “what are YOU sighing at? You slept most of the day.” luna shoves eunbi’s leg with her foot making eunbi whine.
“I slept 8 hours total today,” she whines kicking her feet as she settles back again. “We could watch a movie,” luna suggests, already grabbing the remote to turn on the tv.
“Horror?”
“NO!”
Luna lets out a menacicle laugh at eunbi’s horrified look and scream, “i will not be subjected to your self inflecting torture again. You wanna watch these nightmare inducing movies do it by yourself, don’t drag me into it.”
“Miss congeniality?”
“Yes, give me pick me sandra bullock. Better than watching children talk to ghosts and inviting them to murder their family.”
“You’re being over dramatic.” luna states turning on the movie as they both scoot closer and bring coco in the middle so all three were huddled up together. “But am i really?” eunbi asks unwrapping the blanket draped over the couch’s arm rest. “You absolutely are,” luna retorts and the two fall silent afterwards, knowing very well eunbi is in fact very dramatic.
“You know we could have simply just placed the tv closer to the couch if i knew it was going to be like this,” eunbi, when they’re almost halfway through the movie, comments after watching luna squint for the 100th time to see.
“It’s never too late to rearrange,” luna says settling back into the couch after not being able to read the subtitle fast enough because she was squinting too hard and had to reread the first 3 words twice.
“Don’t you have glasses for this exact reason? You know, to see?” eunbi sarcastically says making luna smack her arm, “i do wear them,”
“You pretend to wear them,” she corrects pointing an accusing finger at her but she swats it away, before she can defend herself, or attempt to because she had nothing to say, luna’s phone vibrates between them.
“Answer before it pulls an orgasm out of me,” eunbi nudges her when she notices she makes no attempt to reach for her phone, “eeww,” luna winces as eunbi just giggles going back to the movie.
Upon seeing it’s mingi luna answers and puts him on speaker. “Hey girlie,” she greets holding the phone between them.
“What are you guys doing?”
“We’re watching a movie and talking about how luna needs to start using her glasses before she goes blind,” eunbi replies upon hearing mingi over the phone, “yeah that’s true, let me in.”
“Don’t you think you should let us know before you come over?” luna says already pulling her feet from under her to get up.
“Yeah what if we’re not at home?”
“Or we’re home and we’re naked?”eunbi asks, raising her voice to reach the phone that was already further from her.
Lun looks back at her with a questioning look, “why would both of you be naked at the same time?” mingi asks with a laugh.
“Why not?” luna defends even though she also does not agree, “well then it’ll be fine, you said i’m one of the girls.” mingi retorts making luna nod her head as she opens the door letting him in.
“That is very true,” she says stepping aside to let mingi in, he takes his shoes off and slips on luna’s fluffy platform flipflops instead of his designated dark blue ones. “Theif.” she comments closing the door, hearing it automatically lock behind her as they both head to the living room. “You weren’t wearing them.” he reasons simply.
“Hey minmin,” eunbi lifts her hand up for a high five which mingi gives before plopping down where luna was. “Hey that’s my place,” luna points out making mingi take the smallest, most tiny step to the side as he gives her a smug smile.
Luna, stubborn, shoves herself between the two, mingi fake whines but snuggles into her once she’s settled. Eunbi unpauses the movie as the three of them silently watch the rest of it.
“Eric matthews’ a pussy.” eunbi states right before the credits start rolling.
“That he is.” luna agrees as mingi nods, “didn’t step up to do shit even when gracie did,”
“Pussy,” eunbi repeats bitterly, “i need to pee.” luna points out, “did you raise your hand?” mingi asks side eyeing her. She does the same “i’m letting you know so you can get off me.” she nods towards his feet that somehow made their way onto her lap with his head on her shoulder.
“Hmm, good point.” he says but makes no effort to move. “I’ll pee on you.”
“No need to tell me thrice,” he says quickly scooting aside for luna to get up. When she does mingi looks over at eunbi who was dozing off, “go sleep in your bed.” he instructs but she doesn’t reply.
“I won’t carry you,” he points out and she scoffs, “luna’s the one that carries me to bed.”
“Yeah that’s true. Still, go sleep in your bed, you’ll get back pain from this position.”
“Luna suggested i stay up at least till 10 so i can get my sleeping schedule fixed.” eunbi says letting out a very loud yawn, it was still 8.
“Suggested.” mingi repeats in an attempt to point out, no one is forcing her to stay up.
“Yeah you’re right,” she says getting up and slipping her feet into her flipflops just as luna came back, “where are you going?”
“How do you pee so fast?” mingi asks looking up at her from the couch below her.
“I even wiped and washed my hands,” she taunts making him pull stank face whilst giving her a thumbs up, “you’re so cool.”
“I’m going to bed,” eunbi replies giving luna a quick pat on her butt before going to the kitchen for some water before bed. “But i wanted us to watch the princess diaries.”
“Watch it with mingi,” she says rinsing the cup and putting it back in the cupboard. “I really can’t stay up any longer.” eunbi explains making luna nod.
“How long has she been up?” mingi whispers to luna, “3 hours,” she whispers back before turning towards eunbi.
“Good night love,” luna blows eunbi a kiss as she smiles and blows one back.
“Night minmin,” she waves and he waves back, “night eun-ie.”
She smiles before heading to her room.
“Why don’t you wanna skip the gym in the morning and go at night with me?” he asks luna as she gets back in her spot on the couch, “i like working out in the morning, good morning cholesterol pump and the gym is empty.”
“Come once at least. Changbin and i have really good workouts in the afternoon, the gym is usually empty at night.”
“You AND changbin? I don’t know changbin that well to workout with him.”
“He’s nice.”
“What part of i don’t know changbin that well entails that i think he’s a menace to society?” luna asks confused as she looks down, or tries to, at mingi who’s settled on her shoulder again.
“I’m just saying,” replies simply, shrugging. “I’m just saying too. Changbin is nice, but i don’t know him well enough to workout with him and be comfortable. Also i don’t like to socialize in the gym.”
“Oh you’re one of those?” he asks making her nudge his head, “i’ve always been one of those, isn’t that why you guys didn’t like me at first?”
“No, we didn’t say we didn’t like you, we were just a little scared of you. You haven’t seen your resting face.” mingi defends looking up at her, she just hums in response, then they’re both quiet as she starts looking for the movie.
“Is princess diaries good?”
“So good,” luna says simply.
“Wait,” mingi grabs her hand before she starts the movie, “i’m hungry.”
luna stares at him, waiting for more because this can’t possibly be all he has to say. “And? Want me to fix you a meal?” she asks sarcastically, making mingi shrug. “I mean i wouldn’t mi- ow.” he’s caught mid sentence when she hits him on the head with the closest pillow she could reach.
“Fine, do you have any more of the seaweed chips?” he asks getting up and heading to the kitchen, “yeah, there’s left over miso ramen in the fridge, heat it up.”
Mingi squeals in excitement as he opens the fridge to take out the covered bowl, “ you’re so sweet you know that?” he asks popping the bowl into the microwave.
“I do, but it’s funny how that only occurs to you when i’ve fed you.”
“I still haven’t been fed,” he points out nodding towards the rotating bowl in the microwave. “Good point, say it again when you’ve been fed then.”
By 10:30 the movie was done and upon knowing halfway through that there’s a second part, mingi insisted they watch it, but by the time the first one was done he was already knocked out. Luna gently got up, placed his head on a cushion and covered him properly with the blanket.
Mingi has slept over so many times by now that he’s the sole reason the couch has been this soft and comfortable sit on within the first month of moving on.
She goes to the kitchen to boil some water for tea, the only time in the day where she drinks tea in the summer. when done, Luna turns off the lights and heads to the bathroom to get ready for bed. Once done she goes to her room where she notices coco on her bed snoring. She coos silently at the dog before proceeding to put her hair up, oil her nails, stretch her muscles and slide into bed.
She pulls out her phone once snuggled between her big fluffy pillows that she can’t sleep without. For her to have a good night sleep luna needs to feel surrounded, enveloped. Without it she barely ever falls asleep.
First instagram, her inactive twitter account, and finally 30 minutes of tiktok scrolling before she realizes she’s seen over 50 more videos after she said she’ll see one last video. Luna isn’t a high social media consumer.
She enjoys posting, she likes taking pictures of things around her, the sky, her coffee, the way her shoes and pants overlap nicely making it look cool to her. She doesn’t post all of them, but most of them at least. She barely scrolls through her feed, she knows that if she does she’ll start getting these thoughts that she does not want. So instead, she posts, disappears, replies to comments after days and then repeats.
All her accounts are public, but none of them garner any sort of buzz, but she does leave them accessible since she simply doesn’t care whether on private or not. Either way, she only follows who she wants, not who she feels like she owes a polite follow because they saw her a few times and chose to follow her.
When her tea is finished, with one last sip left, as always, and her phone is almost dead, she sets it on the charger and turns off her side lamp. Drifting off to sleep to her dog’s rhythmic snoring.
i’ll post the next part once this reaches 30 likes/reblogs <3
