“Does it always feel this weird?”
Robin tapped her finger on the table, bored out of her mind. “Does what feel weird?”
Eddie shrugged, “I don’t know, maybe the fact that we saved the world a week ago from a monster-psychopath that tried to open four portals to another dimension in the middle of Hawkins and everything is just…Normal?”
Steve grunted while continuing to shelve the movies onto the small cases, “after the four times you save the world,” he sighed, “you get used to it.”
Eddie could only groan, feeling like he was slightly going insane. After the entire town was out to get him for being a ‘freak’ and accusing him of starting a cult for Chrissy’s murder, he’s not sure he could move on.
The government tried its best at covering everything up, immediately giving Eddie an alibi and insisting he was innocent. The Goverment also made sure that Chrissy’s death had been a closed case, giving some excuse about drugs and her abusive mom being the culprit. Jason was then put under investigation as a suspect for her murder, just so the accusations could be muddled easier. After a couple of weeks of investigating, Jason was arrested for attacking Lucas and Erica.
Eddie would still sometimes get looks from neighbors and people in Hawkins, but for the most part, he was left alone. No one really wanted to confront him after everything that had happened.
Robin and Steve luckily were able to beg Keith for Eddie to get a job. They had to practically be on their hands and knees. Eddie was grateful, though. It was a distraction where he could fuck around with his friends and not worry about his problems.
“Great, love to see it.” Robin just snickered at Eddie before immediately receiving a glare.
"How are you so unaffected by this?" Eddie started to fiddle with his rings.
Robin shrugged, "What, Eddie, you want credit or something?" Before he could make a snarky comment back, their conversation cut off by the sound of the ringing bell on top of the door.
“Welcome to Family Video—” Eddie’s breath left his lungs when he looked up from the computer. Oh, wow, oh shit—
You stood there with a genuine smile on your face, elbows leaning on the counter, while looking at the metalhead in front of you. You were talking to him, and he, for sure, had no idea what the fuck you were saying.
He just had the wind knocked out of him, and all he wanted to do was stare at your perfect—beautiful—lovely face. The curve of your nose, the way your tongue clicked against your teeth, your eyes staring right back at his—yeah, he was totally fucked.
“Hey, dingus, she asked you a question.” Robin had her eyebrow raised at the metalhead in front of him. He snapped out of his daze, brown doe eyes wide as he tried to recall what you had said.
“I–Um–” Robin couldn’t help but have an amusing look on her face. The Eddie ‘the freak’ Munson was nervous? He was normally the utmost confident one by shouting and yelling about everything and anything. But here he was, completely and utterly speechless.
“I was just wondering if you had a copy of Teen Wolf. Sorry, I just couldn’t find it on the shelves when I came yesterday.”
He swallowed. “Yeah, I–um–can show you.” He led the way towards the back of the video store and picked out the exact copy for you. He couldn’t help but feel hot—sweaty and sticky. Was it hot in here? Did Steve forget to turn on the AC?
“Here.” He handed you the copy, but not before your fingers brushed against each other. He could feel his own heart pounding against his ears. You were soft—so so soft. The tingling sensation never left while you smiled brightly at him.
God, you were just so beautiful. He hoped you would come to see him every single day of his entire life.
“See you around, Munson.”
He deadpanned. You knew his name?
~~
The next time that you came back to the video store was three days from when he had first met. And you bet, Eddie definitely counted each passing minute that you didn’t return the VHS. But he knew that you had to. You just did.
It was another very boring day with Steve and Robin, not much traffic since the weekend was over. He was currently sketching in his book and trying very hard to come up with a new story for the campaign on Friday.
He heard the bell to the door ring but didn’t bother to look up. He figured that if they needed anything, they would ask him or Robin for help. He was still sketching, his pencil making light marks on the sheets of paper.
“What are you up to, Munson?”
His heart immediately burst. You. You were here. You were standing right in front of him with a slight teasing gleam in your eyes. Your head was cocked slightly to the side, and your smile was so completely infectious.
“Oh, it’s just– it’s just for my club that’s this Friday.”
You blinked, eyelashes falling perfectly onto your face. “Hellfire club? Aren’t you the president?”
Oh. Oh. You knew of the hellfire club? He knew that you weren’t a part of the popular crowd, but he didn’t realize you were into nerdy stuff either.
He was floored, absolutely floored. “You know of my club?”
You propped your elbows up onto the counter, trying to get a better look at his sketching. “Yeah, my little brother loves D&D, so I’ve played it quite a few times.”
He licks his lips, eyes darting slightly nervously.  “Yeah?”
“Yeah.” He sees that you still had Teen Wolf in your hands, and it was leaning against the side of your hip. Right, yeah, work. He has stupid work to do.
“Here, I can check that back in if you want.” He reaches for the movie, and your eyes widen slightly. Oh, yeah. The movie that you had rented. To be honest, you had forgotten about it.
You hand it back to him and watch as his eyes scan for your name on the computer. He then types a little on the computer, which you definitely took advantage of by looking at his hands. And oh, wow, his hands. They weren’t perfectly manicured or anything, but the rings that adorned his fingers definitely sprouted butterflies in your stomach.
He turned to you, smiling, “there. you’re all set.” You give him one right back and almost turn to leave.
“Hey, what if you came to our club?” He leaned just a bit closer towards you.
“What?”
“This Friday at 6:30. Our club meets in Ms. Hank's classroom.”
You look down at the fake wooden table for just a second as if you’re contemplating. In reality, you were trying to hide that bubbling feeling inside you as he stared at you with such intensity.
“I might just take you up on that offer.” Before he could even react, you gave a quick kiss on his cheek. His mouth popped open in surprise, he could hear Robin and Steve gasp in the background.
But you had that cheeky smile on your face. Your eyes sparkled once more as you stared at his startled face. You let out a consent sigh before turning around and leaving the store. All he could do was beam.
“See you around, Munson.”

You had never seen more beautiful eyes than his
Tumblr media
Summary: And once again you were reminded of their beauty when you looked into the big doe eyes of the one and only Eddie Munson. Pairing: Eddie Munson x gn!Reader Warnings: angst / hurt, fluff-ish if you squint real hard, character death, Stranger Things V.2 spoiler!, Word count: 500+
Tumblr media
You had never seen more beautiful eyes than his.
It always had been troubling you how underappreciated brown eyes were. Everyone was always gushing about blue or green eyes. Eyes as blue as the ocean this, eyes as green as the forest that. Breathtaking blue eyes here, mesmerizing green eyes there. Blah blah blah….
Not once had you heard someone give the same enthusiasm to brown eyes. How remarkable, enchanting, gentle, lovable, striking, warm and pretty they were.
And you were once again reminded of their beauty when your gaze met his. When you looked into the big doe eyes of the one and only Eddie Munson.
You could stare into them 24/7 for the rest of your life and you wouldn’t ever get bored. There was something about them, about him, that pulled you in. Captivated you.
Right the second the both of you made eye contact in the cafeteria on your first day in Hawkins High, you were whipped. Totally whipped.
But it hadn’t been until a few weeks after that you talked to each other. You had ended up in detention - for the stupidest reason - and when he strolled into the room he sat down next to you.
As it turned out he had been feeling the same and shortly after you started dating, going strong for 1,5 years now. 1,5 wonderful years before shit hit the fan…
You were with him the night Chrissy died and went into hiding with him. When Dustin and his friends found you and filled you in on all the crazy shit that had happened the last years in Hawkins, you couldn’t believe it at first. Not that you didn’t believe them, especially after seeing the way Chrissy died, but accepting the existence of the upside down was another thing.
That was, until all of you went through the water gate to save Steve and saw it with your own eyes.
After the decision was made to go back into the upside down to kill Vecna/Henry/One you naturally stayed with Eddie, and therefore Dustin, as the decoys.
When the bats entered the trailer Eddie had sent you up the rope right after Dustin. You watched as threw his geat to follow and as soon as he stopped climbing you knew what he was about to do; maybe even before he knew it himself.
“No!”, you yelled, tears running down your face. “No, Eddie! Don’t!”
Dusting joined your pleas when it became clearer that Eddie wanted to stay on the other side. Both of you begged for him to climb over, get back to the real Hawkins. Begged him not to leave you. But it was no use. He had made up his mind.
He jumped down, swung his spear to cut the rope and with a last look at you, his eyes full of determination, hurt and fear, he whispered “I love you” before he bolted out of the trailer.
You went back through the gate as fast as you could, hurting your shoulder pretty badly in the process when your body hit the floor. You ran after him - you were sure you never ran so fast in your life before - but still, you didn’t make it in time to save him.
And even now as Eddie was looking up at you, his head resting in your lap and his face covered in blood… Even now as the light was leaving his eyes and his gaze went blank…
… you had never seen more beautiful eyes than his.

some lines I think we really gotta talk about:
“I never should have let you in the door” “And I never should have knocked”
“but it turns out, normal’s just a raging psychopath”
“You touch her again, I will kill you, again”
“I piggybacked from a pizza dough freezer”

"If I get to live a million other lives, I hope I get to love you in all of them.” Eddie Munson fix-it fic.
Tumblr media
(gif not mine, credit to dunadain)
Pairing: Eddie x female!reader
Summary: A quickly, sloppily written angsty + fluffy fix-it fic I cranked out in one sitting because this is my therapy in a post st4 vol2 world. This was written quickly and quickly proofread by a very tired me, so definitely not my best work but something I just wanted to get out in the open for everyone! Enjoy.
Warnings: Mentions of death, blood, gore, drinking, basically, everything from e9 except Eddie lives, suggestive dialogue but ultimately sfw. And obviously, spoilers ahead.
A/N: My first published fic! I hope u enjoy it, it’s not what my best work looks like (I’m working on a long ass AU fic that will be impeccably written and proofread don’t you worry), but, like I said, my brain just wanted me to get this idea out of my system, so here you go! Please be kind!
Word count: Almost 3k

"Let’s hope this works” Dustin mutters as he plugs in the extension cord to the amplifiers. You teeter over the chord, trying to maintain your balance atop the tin roof of Eddie's trailer. The trailer that held memories of some of your brightest memories with the long-haired dungeon master standing in front of you. You take in the sight in front of you, the world slowing down for a millisecond. bright red lightning crackled in the distance. Dustin’s hard breathing. Eddie’s warm brown eyes trained on you and only you. Upside-down flurries landing in the curls of his frizzy hair. Guitar slung lazily over the front of his torso. You remembered back to the first time you’d met him.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
You had just moved to Hawkins for your freshman year of high school, thanks to your parents moving for work. That first day at school, you’d taken your lunch to the bathroom, too nervous to eat at a table alone. It was on the billboard by the restroom door you had seen a poster for a local band playing at a bar close to your house that night. Back in your old city, you’d loved to go see live music. As you sat in the stall, you grasped for your backpack, digging out your wallet. There it was. staring back at you was the face of your freshly 21-year-old sister, her old id hiding in the back flaps.
You arrived that night to the venue that night, breezing past the bouncer and heading straight to the bar. You didn’t mind being alone here, because at least here you didn’t feel like the targeted new kid like you did in the cafeteria. Oh, how you were so wrong; because, as you waited for the bartender to pour your beer, you heard a voice come from beside you.
“You’re the new girl in my algebra class.”
You whipped your head beside you. The smell of weed and jack burned your nostrils. In front of you was a cheeky, long-hair brunette boy. And even in the dark ambient lighting of the bar, you could see his big, beautiful kind brown eyes. Oh my god, he was cute. In an attempt to stumble out a response, you just huffed out a “yeah” and handed the bartender some cash, swapping it with your beer.
"As part of the new-kid-Hawkins-high-experience, I was planning on asking you to sit at my lunch table, but you seemed to disappear in the few moments between algebra and lunch period,” he pressed on while you sipped, determined to talk to you for some reason.
“Oh yeah, I, um,” you stammered. You took in his full appearance now. He had a black tee with a flannel and leather jacket, black pants donning a chain, and white reebok shoes. On his fingers were a range of rings of different shapes and sizes. His ringed fingers wrapped around what you assumed was a jack and coke but was mostly gone.
“I promise sitting at our table is better than eating alone in the bathroom. Trust me, been there, done that...” he smiled, turning to stick his free hand out to you. “I’m Eddie.”
You told him your name and shook his hand, the cold from the rings shocking your skin. You chatted with small talk back and forth for a while. You told him your love for live music and excitement to see the band, and he told you about the DND club he loved. Hell, what did it hurt to befriend someone cute on one of your first days in a new town? He downed the rest of his drink before bowing to you.
“Well, I would love to chat with you for longer, but I do have duties to fulfill. I’ll see you at lunch tomorrow?” he smiled, holding out his hand. Unsurely, you put your hand into his and he places a chaste kiss on it. The alcohol in your system bubbled a giggle in response.
“Tomorrow,” you bid him farewell. And then, to your absolute horror, he climbed the steps to the stage followed by a few other guys. He went up to the center microphone, slung a guitar over his head, and gave a smile directly to you before yelling his band name and playing the opening riffs to a metal song you didn’t recognize.
And the rest was history.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
And at this moment, you saw that same boy. The same young boy with kind eyes staring at you from across the roof of the trailer. Suddenly you’re filled with fear at the gravity of what you’re actually doing. So many things could go wrong. You’re literally setting yourself up as bait. You can’t lose him. You can’t.
Your arms and legs move faster than your brain as you trek over to Eddie, hands reaching out for his face and planting a kiss onto his perfectly ready lips. His guitar bumps against your front and you pull away, foreheads touching.
“I love you,” you whisper. “I just had to tell you before.”
Before he has a chance to respond, you back away next to Dustin, your hand reaching out to crank up the volume on the amp. Eddie’s eyes meet yours in the last moment of silence. His voice breaks it as he reaches up to his guitar pick on the chain around his neck and he mutters your name as he rips it off, eyes trained on yours.
“This is for you.”
And then it all starts. the guitar riff to the Metallica song you knew all too well, because, well, Eddie was obsessed with it. You liked it too because it reminded you of how talented he was. He shreds the guitar as you watch. If this was any other situation, you would have a heat building between your legs at the sight in front of you, but considering the compromising nature of what was happening at the moment, you focused on the sound of the bats swarming closer. As the epic guitar solo comes to an end, you stumble off of the roof and into the trailer, choking out a sob of relief once you realize you’re safe.
The first thing Eddie does after his cheering moment with Dustin is kiss you again, hard and passionately as if he didn’t just kiss you minutes ago.
“See, all worked out,” he cups your cheeks and your smile. Then, your smile fades as the bats ram against the roof.
“Eddie, the vents!” you realize. Eddie mutters a ‘shit’ and rams his trash can lid weapon to the vent in the living room and you run, ramming yours into the one above his bed. But you’re too late. A bat narrowly escapes your attempt and latches onto your shoulder, knocking you off of the bed and onto the hard floor.
You’re sure your arm is broken somewhere from the shooting pain paired with the pain of the bat gnawing on your flesh. You scream and Eddie quickly appears into your vision, beating the hell out of the damn thing. It finally dies and Eddie kneels down to you.
Eddie sits you up, blood gushing from the wound on your shoulder.
“Oh, god, you’re okay, you’re okay” he coos. “Henderson” he yells and Dustin appears in the door frame, gasping out your name.
“I’m fine...” you attempt to get up, dizziness taking over you. “Woah-” you blink slowly, fighting the dizziness caused by the amount of blood dripping down your shirt.
“We gotta get her through the gate, out of here,” Eddie rapidly fires, and in your hazy state, you can tell he’s holding back tears. He grabs for a shirt of his nearby and holds it to your oozing wound.
Your vision continues to blur. How were you losing this much blood? The world spun fast around you as Eddie walked you to the gate. Eddie....
“Eddie” you murmur out. Eddie looks at you, holding you up in his arms.
“I’m right here baby, right here. Now I need you to be strong and get yourself up that rope.” he manages to say, no tears spilling from his clearly-watering eyes. You muster up the strength you have and somehow manage to get to the other side of the gate. Dustin follows, coming to your side immediately to check on you. you gaze up at the gate and see Eddie staring back at you.
“Eddie...” you start, suspicious of him. And before you know it, there he is, cutting off the cloth rope between the two dimensions. Dustin starts to scream. You become numb with shock. Tears prickle your eyes.
“Get her to a hospital, Henderson. Make sure she’s safe.”
And then he’s gone. In one fluid motion, tears bursting down your cheeks, you saunter over to a chair in the corner, pulling it to the gate.
“Dustin, I don’t care what you say, I’m going in there whether you want me to or not. So you can either help me or not. But I’m going” you manage to get out.
He nods in agreement and you get yourself on the chair, using your good arm to pull yourself up. Dustin helps with your feet the best he can, and by some miracle in the universe, you land on your back on the floor of the trailer in the upside-down, crying out in agony.
You don’t even wait for Dustin to come through before you’re scrounging up all the strength you have to run sloppily out of the door, hand pressed to your shirt-covered wound, blood already soaked through it.
You see him. He’s there, weapons up and at the ready, fighting the swarm the best he can. A scream gets choked in your throat as you run in his direction. When Eddie falls to the ground, that's when the yell building up inside you finally comes out, taking most of your strength with it. It’s a mix between his name and the word ‘no’, but it’s loud enough to get some of the bats flying in your direction.
But then they all... fall. All at once. No bats even reach you before they’re dead and unmoving on the ground. But that doesn’t matter to you.
“Eddie!” you scream again, weaker than before. you hear Dustin's yells distantly behind you.
When you reach him, your knees buckle at the sight of him. He’s bloody. Really bloody. It covers his torso and hands, even his face.
“No, no no no” you shake your head. “Eddie no you can’t,” you start, fully sobbing now, tears mixing with his blood. “You can’t leave me.”
“I didn’t run away this time,” he choked. His voice gurgled. Blood splattered from his mouth to his teeth.
“No, Eds, you didn’t.”
He manages a smile the best he can, and even with the blood covering parts of his face and teeth, he’s still the most beautiful boy you have ever laid your eyes on.
“You’re so beautiful,” you coo to him, brushing his hair with your shaky, bloody fingers.
“N- not more... b- beautiful than you” he chokes, shaky hand reaching to yours that was on his chest. Dustin finally arrives and falls next to you.
“I love you” he musters.
“Stop that,” you manage through tears, shaking your head at him. “You’re making it through this.” he turns his eyes to look at Dustin.
“You’re gonna have to look after my little sheep for me, okay?”
“Eddie you are not dying, stop this-” you and Dustin protest at the same time and you bury your head in his blood-soaked hellfire shirt.
“And make sure you watch over her for me. Promise me,”
This breaks you. You audibly sob, not hearing anything of what Dustin responds to Eddie.
“H- hey look at me,” Eddie grunts. you lift your head, brushing hair out of his beautiful, perfect eyes.
“If I get to live a million other lives, I hope I get to love you in all of them.”
You can’t get words out at this point. You just lean forward and kiss him softly. You don’t care about the mess or the blood. When you pull away you choke out broken “I love you”’s over and over.
You’re broken out of your trance by Steve’s distant voice. You whip around.
“Henderson!” he yells, running over, noticing your compromising position.
“Oh my god, what happened-” Nancy starts but you interrupt.
“Bats. He needs help. A hospital. Bandages. Now.” you demand. Steve is already beside you, helping Eddie up. You go to the other side of him, holding him up carefully as the group quickly moves to the trailer.
“You’re going to be okay, Eddie. It’s going to be okay.”
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
It’s a few hours after the giant earthquake ripped through Hawkins. You return from the kitchen in Hopper’s cabin to the room Eddie was laying in with another bowl of water and a cloth. Somehow, someway, you and the gang were able to patch up the wounds, none being too detrimental. He pitifully laid on the bed, bandages covering most of his body. He seemed better and more sentient, just a little traumatized. You were too, your own uncovered gash dully throbbing at you. The others suggested one of them look at it but you refused, mind only focused on Eddie.
You sat beside him on the bed and he gave you a weak smile. You dipped the cloth in the water, continuing to wipe him down, this time wiping down his face.
“Thank you” he simply stated.
“You don’t have to thank me” you smiled softly.
“You’re just... too good to be real,” he said, almost in a whisper. And then suddenly, his smile faded.
“What’s wrong?” you asked. His eyes trained on your shoulder.
“Please just let me look at it,” he states. You shake your head, continuing to wipe his face.
“It’s fine.”
“No, it’s not. Please, just let me look.”
You drop the cloth back into the water, sighing out in surrender. He manages to sit up and reaches a hand out, pulling your shirt down to reveal the gash. He sighs out your name.
“I’ve been applying pressure and I promise it doesn’t hurt as bad as it did earlier,” you protest. But, he’s already reaching for the damp cloth, pressing it to the wound, cleaning it. You wince but surrender to his touch as he softly and shakily cleans the wound. You shed your shirt and he grabs a spare bandage from the side table, wrapping it around the wound.
“There,” he lays back down and smiles.
“Thank you,” you respond mimicking him from earlier, leaning down to sweetly leave a kiss on his lips.
“Circumstances aside, I do have to mention how sexy you look right now,” he cheekily smirks at you in your bra, even in his weakest moments still being the cheeky Eddie he always has been.
“Scooch over,” you tell him, shedding the pants you were wearing, and climbing into the bed next to him.
The entire gang was fast asleep, too exhausted from the events of the night to manage a normal sleeping schedule. You nestled in next to Eddie, his bandaged arm coming to wrap around your side.
“You know, I really thought I was going to lose you,” you look up into his eyes.
“Yeah, well... I didn’t want to run” he mumbles back.
“Running doesn’t make you a bad person.”
“I shouldn’t have run from Chrissy,” he says sadly, remembering back to his friend. You knew her, albeit not that well, but you had been with them in the woods. The night she died you weren’t with Eddie, but he found and told you right after. You helped him hide. You knew the guilt from that night ate at him.
“There was nothing you could do, Eds.”
“I know.”
“Running isn’t stupid. Especially when it’s in the best interest of everyone involved. You can’t leave me like that. ever. I won’t ever let you. You can’t go off and die being a hero and leaving me behind,” you say, not even realizing you’re crying. “Chrissy would be so proud of you from tonight, Eds. She’d be proud, but she wouldn’t want you to put yourself near death for the sake of not being a coward.”
Eddie sniffs in response. You know he’s softly crying.
“Just promise me you won’t pull some shit like that again,” you whisper, looking up into his eyes again.
“I won’t. I’m sorry,” he wipes your tears and hugs you close to his chest. “Never again. I’m never leaving you.”
"Good. Because I’ll kill you first.” you smile. He softly laughs with you.
And everything is okay. Well, not in Hawkins, technically, but Eddie's okay. And you’re okay. And that’s all that matters at this very moment.

You hadn’t set foot in Hawkins High since you graduated, since you’ve been off at college. You were adamant about never placing a single inch in this hell hole again, but here you were, walking through the halls for Eddie ‘the freak’ Munson.
It all felt so…strange.
The walls were decorated with colorful paper, most likely something to do with sports. You knew there was another basketball game tonight with much of Hawkins talking about it. You could see all the old lockers, almost shuddering at the past memories that seemed so recent, yet so long ago. Yeah, this was definitely odd.
Your feet came to a halt as you stood in front of Ms. Hank’s classroom. The door was slightly ajar, and you could hear someone murmuring. You gave two gentle taps on the door, slowly pushing it open.
“Eddie?” His head perked up at the sound of your sweet, smooth voice. He tried to ignore the pounding of his heart in his ears.
“Good evening, m’lady.” He couldn’t help but cringe on the inside at his greeting. He doesn't even know why he cared. You had literally just reconnected earlier that week, and the wild, untamed urge he had to touch you—to feel you—was absolutely insane.
He just doesn’t get it. He's 'the freak' of Hawkins High. He doesn't ever care. Ever.
He’s supposed to be hard as stone, not giving a single flying shit about what anyone thinks of him. I mean, shit, he’s fought in another dimension before.
But for some reason, as you stand with a small affectionate smile in front of him, he can’t help but care.
“Glad you are able to join us, newcomer.” He placed a figurine on the table, making sure that it was in the exact place he wanted it to be. You placed your belongings on a table nearby and then walked over to stand right next to Eddie.
And wow, you smelled good—perfect—like cinnamon, earthy and light as his breathing seemed to deepen. It was intoxicating. How was he supposed to be Dungeon Master when your presence sent him into a downright spiral?
With his nerves, Eddie couldn’t help but talk. And man, did he talk fast.
You were trying your best to keep up with every single word he was saying. Your eyebrows were creased, your eyes were darting around from his hands to his eyes, and your index finger was on your pillowy lips—God—that only made him worse. So much worse.
“Hey, Eddie?” His mouth snapped shut, head swiveling over towards you at lightning speed.
“Yeah?”
You took a step closer to him. Your arm was almost touching him, and he swore his heart was in his throat. Shit—he needed to get himself together, but his body burned just by standing next to you.
You opened your mouth, and he leaned in. His body was too curious about what you were about to say. Personal space? Yeah, fuck that.
But before you could utter a word, the classroom door bursts open with a crowd of boys. Some of them you recognized from knowing their siblings, and some of them, you had even babysat before.
“All I’m saying is—listen, okay—all I’m saying is that Return of the Jedi is ten times better than A New Hope.”
Lucas scrunched his nose. “Um, I beg to differ. A New Hope is what started everything all together. You wouldn’t have Return if you didn’t have Hope.”
Mike just rolled his eyes and murmured under his breath. “Yeah, whatever.” Before they could bicker anymore, they realized there was a new presence in the room.
“Who’s this?”
“A half-elf, lawful good cleric.”
Dustin rolled his eyes. “Yeah, I gathered that this random person is here to play. I’m asking who it is.”
Eddie clicked his tongue. “All you need to know, Henderson, is that you have to step up your game for this campaign.”
Dustin looked like he was thinking, and then it clicked. “Hey, wait, you’re my babysitter!” His smile, which wasn’t so gummy as you remembered it to be, was beaming.
~~
All of you had been playing for a while, going through the ropes and getting a hang of things. Much to Lucas’ dismay, Eddie kept giving you tips and tricks that could save your ass or give you a chance of being at a higher level.
“He didn’t do that for us…”
Eddie sent a glare. “Shut it, Sinclair.”
But now, it was time for the true part of the campaign—the battles.
Eddie looked absolutely giddy as watched everyone take their rolls, watching each and every one of their actions. Lucas and Dustin had already rolled theirs and completely failed—already taking a lot of damage.
Mike rolled his dice. His hands were pressed together as if he was praying to the Gods. “Please, please please—”
The dice came to a halt, and everyone moved their head to see a number. Well, fuck.
Eddie tsked. “Well, well, Wheeler, a four. An absolute miss.” Eddie takes his own dice and rolls. “Looks like the Aboleth excretes a black-like fluid onto your face causing you to suffocate.” Eddie splats his hands out in front of him to make a gesture. “You turn to your friends to help, but it’s too late, Wheeler, the ink enters your lungs causing you to crash onto the ground.”
Eddie’s maniacal laugh booms across the room. Mike, Lucas, and Dustin all sigh in defeat—the aching emotion covering their entire faces. Now, it was all up to you. You were the last remaining character left.
They all turn to you in hope, “C’mon! You can do this!”
You nervously picked up your dice and threw it onto the table. Everyone’s eyes are wide as it bounces across the table. All of their heads immediately peaked over—rushing to find out what number you had rolled.
All the boys gaped at you, utterly and completely shocked.
Was this real life? Was Eddie dreaming? It sure felt like he was dreaming. The person of his dreams, standing right before him, rolled a nat-twenty, more specifically on your first roll.  A damn natural twenty?
No one in the room could believe their eyes. You, a person who had only just dabbled in the arts of dungeon and dragons, were a fucking natural at the overly complex tabletop game. He could kiss you. He could really practically kiss you.
“Holy shit.” Dustin paused, locking eyes with you. “Holy shit!”
“Holy shit is right, Henderson.”
“Am I that impressive to you, dungeon master?” He choked on basically nothing; he felt his brain short circuit as the words left your mouth. He wanted you to call him that for the absolute rest of his life.
By this point, he had no idea what he was doing. Holy fuck, what was he doing? His hands had reached across the table as if they had their own brain, and they grabbed your cheeks. He pulled you forward, so your face was just inches away from his.
“You are so fucking amazing. Where have you been all my life?”
You. How can you be so real? You’re smart, funny, so—so—pretty, and you were good at D&D? Somebody has to fucking pinch him because he is definitely dreaming.
You erupted in giggles, causing Eddie to laugh as well. Your hands went up to grab his wrists, which he thought was to pull them down. But, no. You kept his hands on your cheeks, even giving his arms a tight squeeze.
“I’ve been here, Eddie. You just had to look harder.”
His heart was in his ears, “well, fuck, I think not being around you is my only high school regret.”
“Yeah, Eddie, if you don’t date her, I swear to—”
Eddie groaned, “shut up, Dustin.”
~~
The ending of the campaign was great. You had saved everybody's asses, and all of them adorned big smiles on their faces.
Especially Eddie.
The boys had already left, and now, it was just you and Eddie again. He insisted that he didn’t need any help with cleaning up, but you shook your head and helped him anyway.
“Eddie?”
He didn’t look up from what he was doing; he was way too nervous to look you in the eyes. Jeez, what was wrong with him?
“Yeah?”
You paused, “you know, I’ve always thought that you were cute in high school.”
Oh. Oh, shit. “Really?”
You nodded, nerves bubbling into your stomach. “Yeah, I always admired that you didn’t care. You just seemed so free and fun. When you would yell across the cafeteria, I swear to you—it’s true—that it always made my day. I don’t know. There was just something about you—”
You were cut off by a pair of lips melting on top of yours. You let out a surprised gasp but quickly gained to your senses as your hands wrapped into his hair.
Oh, my, you are addicting—so fucking addicting. He could taste your cherry lip balm, smell your sweet perfume, and feel your skin brush up against his.
You broke the kiss for some air, the two of you heavily breathing in the small classroom. Then, the two of you just burst out in laughter, not being able to help yourselves.
Yeah, Eddie ‘the freak’ Munson was royally fucked. You’ve absolutely ruined him.

It had been raining heavily when it happened. The harsh sound of a wood door slamming shut in front of a seventeen year old girl. She had just been thrown out of her house by her parents since she had committed a unforgivable sin in their eyes. She was being shunned, punished.
So there, she knelt in a puddle of rainwater outside her parents’ house. She replayed the events of the night in her head, remembering the looks of disappointment and utter disgust on her parents faces when she confessed. She begged her father as he dragged her towards the front door before throwing her out into the rain and slamming the door in her face. They had no daughter, not anymore at least.
In slight shock and disbelief, Y/n simply sat there for a couple minutes. She cried to herself because she honestly didn’t know what she was going to do or where she was going to go tonight. After some time, she rose to her feet and began walking wherever her feet took her.
She walked against the harsh winds and the cold rain, trudging through beside everything that just happened. She hugged her arms close to her for warmth and she kept her head hung low so water didn’t get into her eyes. She didn’t carry any of her belongings because she didn’t have any with her. She only had the clothes on her back which were now soaked to the skin.
It was dark outside, probably around ten o’clock at night. At the given moment, Eddie was making himself a little late night snack. He opened the bag of popcorn and proceeded to dumb its contents into a large bowl. His uncle was situated on the couch, flipping through channels on the television. He grumbled something about nothing good being on.
All of the sudden, there was a knock on the front door of their trailer. Both of their heads turned towards the door. They hadn’t been expecting anyone, not at this hour and not in this storm. Nevertheless, Eddie went across the room and pulled the door open. There, standing in front of him, was his girlfriend.
“Y/N?” Eddie asked.
He quickly took note of her state. Her clothes were absolutely drenched, sticking to her skin. Her hair stuck to her face, but it had been brushed away a few times so she could see where she was going. The skin under her eyes was red and puffy because she had been crying for so long. And the tip of her nose was pink from crying too. She said nothing.
“What are you doing here? It’s late and it’s pouring--” Eddie wondered. He was quickly cut off when she took a step forward and wrapped her arms around him in a desperate hug.
Just then, the tears came back. She squeezed her eyes shut tight in attempts to keep them from falling, but it was no use. Her body racked with sobs. She cried ever so softly and quietly.
“Hey. Hey,” Eddie tried to reassure her. “It’s okay. I’m right here.”
Without hesitation, Eddie ushered her inside his warm and cozy trailer. He closed the door behind him. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder in hopes of bringing her some sense of comfort.
In a second, Uncle Wayne had returned from the hallway with a brand new towel in his hands. He handed it to her. His face laced with a strong look of concern for her.
In response, Y/n quietly thanked him for the towel. She wrapped the towel around her shoulders, shivering softly. This helped dry her off a bit and gave her some warmth.
“C-Could I stay here for a while? My parents--,” Y/n almost couldn’t bring herself to say. “They kicked me out.”
“Yeah. Of course. You can stay in my room,” Eddie nodded his head. He figured it would be best not to ask questions about what happened right now. She was clearly distraught and she probably just needed some time.
Now, there was only one bedroom in the trailer. Out of the kindness of Wayne’s heart, he let his nephew have the room to himself. He slept on a folding cot in the living room. The system worked. Neither of them complained about it.
Eddie was changing the sheets on his bed since he hadn’t done that it the longest time and since he had a guest staying. While Eddie gathered the gross mess of dirty sheets in his hands, Y/n had shuffled to stand by his bedside table. She timidly grabbed the small opened box of condoms laying there.
Naturally, Eddie lifted his head to look at her. He saw that she was holding his box of condoms. His facial expression dropped in sudden realization. Hesitantly, Y/n lowered the box of condoms back onto the side table. She turned her head to look at him with tears streaming in her eyes. Everything was communicated so clearly with that one look in her eyes.
“Are you--” Eddie questioned. He took a step forward. He pointed to her. “Did I--” Eddie couldn’t speak.
Without saying anything to confirm or deny the accusation, Y/n went to wrap her arms around her stomach as if she were trying to hide the fact. She could feel the tears streaming down the sides of her face. She was so overcome with emotions.
After some time, Y/n had dried off. She changed into some spare clothes that Eddie had given her to borrow. She crawled into bed with the hopes of falling asleep and waking up from this terrible nightmare. Thankfully, Eddie was there to help her fall asleep. He simply brushed her hair down with his fingers and that seemed to lull her to sleep.
Once Y/n was sleeping, Eddie quietly exited his bedroom and closed the door behind him. He shuffled back into the living room. He found his uncle rearranging the living room, settling up another bed on the ground for his nephew. Upon hearing his approach, Uncle Wayne turned around to face his nephew. He looked at him expectingly.
“I—I got her pregnant,” Eddie choked. He had a build up of tears in the corners of his eyes, threatening to fall at any given moment.
“Oh Eddie,” Uncle Wayne said softly. He looked at his nephew with such sympathy in his eyes. He wasn’t going to yell at him or scold him like his father would have.
Instead, Uncle Wayne brought his nephew over to the couch in the living room. He helped him sit down with a single hand on his back for support. He didn’t want to ask any questions. He didn’t want to overwhelm him, because he probably was feeling an overwhelming sense of various emotions. So he sat quietly and waited for his nephew to talk to him.
Out of instinct, Eddie rubbed his hand over his face. He kept his hand over his mouth, reveling in the news that was just broken to him. He swallowed the heavy lump lingering at the back of his throat. He began to panic a little.
“I-I just don't understand,” Eddie began. He raised his hand in defense. “I mean, we were so careful every time. W-We used protection,” Eddie claimed.
His uncle only nodded his head understandingly. He had always been the more quiet type, more of a listener than a talker. He turned his head and looked into the distance. His nephew breathed a long sigh.
“You’ll get through this,” Uncle Wayne encouraged. He went to look at his nephew sitting beside him. He sent him a weak smile. “Both of you will,” Uncle Wayne added.
“I’m not ready to be a father,” Eddie shook his head.
“Most people aren't,” Uncle Wayne shrugged his shoulders. “But you will be when the time comes,” Uncle Wayne concluded.
That night, Eddie couldn’t seem to fall asleep. It wasn’t because he wasn’t sleeping in his own bed. It was more because he couldn’t stop thinking. The questions of “how did this happen” or “what are we going to do” kept coming up. And he couldn’t answer them.
Now, Y/n told him that she found out just earlier that day after having stolen a handful of pregnancy tests from the nearby gas station. She brought one of the pregnancy tests to show him for even more proof. And sure enough, there were two little pink lines on it.
For some reason, Eddie kept hearing the sounds of a newborn crying. He didn’t know how to take care of a baby. He'd never even held one before! Whether he liked it or not, he was going to have a newborn baby to take care of and provide for a couple months.
In that moment, Eddie decided that he was going to do everything in his power to make sure his girlfriend was cared for during the pregnancy. He was choosing to be there for her. He was going to provide her with all of her needs, whether that be food cravings or much needed back massages.
Even after the baby was born, Eddie was determined to pull his own weight. He thought about how he could take the night shifts and feed the baby a bottle. He'd figure out how to change a diaper. He wondered if there was a parenting book in the library that he could check out. No matter what, Eddie was going to take care of her and the baby.
During the early stages of the first trimester, Y/n had the worst case of morning sickness. Almost every morning, she was woken up by the sudden urge to throw up. She’d have to race to the bathroom just to yank open the toilet seat. Her stomach would contract violently as heaps of throw up came out of her mouth.
Despite the fact that it was around five or six in the morning, Eddie would always come in to hold her hair behind her head. He’d stand over her hunched figure sitting on the ground. Her hair was collected in a tight grip at the back of her head so she never had to worry about loose strands falling into her face. Sometimes, Eddie found himself rubbing her back in a reassuring manner and whisper encouraging words to her. He was in there every morning with her.
Over the next couple weeks, the word had finally spread around town. A large majority of the towns people were disgusted by the news, secretly calling her ‘a whore’ behind her back. And saying things like ‘that’s what she gets for sleeping around’ despite the fact that she had only slept with her boyfriend. And they didn’t blame her parents for throwing her out on the streets, thinking that she deserved it and maybe she’d learn her lesson.
Then there was a small minority of people who just felt pity for her. This group main consisted of the community who lived in the trailer park. They had heard that she had been thrown out by her parents. They felt bad for her. She was just a kid anyways.
The worst part was the high school. She had stopped coming to school since her parents refused to pay the monthly school bill. Now this only sparked rumors in the hallways. The vast majority of students figured that she had gotten pregnant, though they didn’t know by whom. This became such a talked about scandal that the principal had to address it at one of the school assemblies.
Whenever Eddie and Y/n would go out, it was inevitable that they were going to receive stares from people passing. Especially from women who were always trying to see if she was starting to show yet. Eddie always handed her one of his jackets and she used this to conceal her growing stomach from the world.
One day, there was a knock on the front door. At the given moment, Eddie was working on his campaign in his bedroom and Uncle Wayne was working. So Y/n went to open the door. She figured it was just one of the neighbors coming to stop by.
But when she opened the door, she was surprised to see Mrs Wheeler and Mrs Mayfield standing in front of her. They both wore the biggest and brightest smiles on their faces. And they each carried a large box full of miscellaneous things.
Behind Mrs Mayfield was her own daughter named Max. She had just started her first year of high school and it was their first year living in the trailer park themselves. In contrast, Mrs Wheeler came from the middle class suburbs. She had her own large white cookie cutter house, lined with perfectly trimmed hedges. It felt like such an odd thing, seeing those two women together considered their very different backgrounds.
“Mrs Wheeler,” Y/n acknowledged because she knew her daughter Nancy from school. “Mrs Mayfield,” Y/n added.
For a second, Y/n really didn’t know what to do. She looked between the two women, wondering what they could possibly want from her. She shifted her weight onto one side and just stood there awkwardly. Then she cleared her throat.
“Is there something I can do for you?” Y/n wondered. She quickly wrapped her sweater around her evident baby bump because she felt so self-conscious about it.
“We have some things for you,” Mrs Mayfield said. She gestured to the large cardboard box in her hands. “And for your baby,” Mrs Mayfield included with a gentle smile.
“M-My baby?” Y/n questioned.
“Yeah. Just a couple things that we collected from when we had little ones of our own,” Mrs Wheeler replied. She glanced at the other woman standing beside her.
“Mainly just clothing and toys,” Mrs Mayfield nodded her head.
"Of course,” Y/n was brought back. She placed her hand on her forehead. “Come on it,” she said while moving out of the way and opening the door a little further.
Together, Mrs Wheeler and Mrs Mayfield placed the two large boxes on the coffee table in the center of the living room. Then the two of them proceeded to sit down on the couch. They opened the boxes and started taking some of the contents out.
So Mrs Mayfield pulled out a couple newborn onesies. She claimed that Max was born much too big for the clothes she had so they weren’t even used yet. The only unfortunate thing was that she only had one daughter so there weren't any boy themed clothes. But Y/n claimed that it was fine and she was most grateful for them anyways.
Now Mrs Wheeler had much more baby clothes on her. Since she had two daughters and one son of her own, she brought a whole variety of options since they wouldn’t know the gender until the baby was born. She was even so kind as to give her a newborn and toddler car seat, stating that Holly had just grown out of her’s.
Then came the baby toys. With the help of all three Wheeler kids, they had assembled a small pile of old toys that they didn’t necessarily play with anymore. Nancy had decided to give away some of her stuffed animals, thinking she was a little too old to have those now. Mike gave away some of his little action figures, toy trains, and automobiles. And Holly wanted to give the new baby her old rattle, some building blocks, and pop up books.
All the while, Y/n was marveling at the adorable little toys and trinkets. She let her fingers graze over a few of them, realizing how blessed she was to receive these. Then she held up a little onesie to view, which only made the smile grow on her face. She thanked them for their generosity.
On the sidelines, Max was sitting on the floor next to the coffee table. She kept stealing glances towards the older teenage girl. She saw the baby bump peeking out from behind her sweater.
“Do you think you’ll have a boy or a girl?” Max wondered curiously. She kept a blank face, but she was beaming with genuine curiosity.
“I-I don’t know. I haven’t really thought about it,” Y/n confessed with a shrug of the shoulders. She folded some baby clothes in her lap, setting them off to the side. “Eddie and I-- we are both an only child,” Y/n explained.
“Have you thought of names yet?” Max mentioned. She felt the smile growing at the corners of her lips.
“No,” Y/n smiled back. “No, we haven't.”
That night, Eddie came into his bedroom carrying two bowls of ice cream. He sat down on the bed and went to lean against the headboard next to his girlfriend. He placed her the bowl of ice cream on top of her round stomach and it stayed there perfectly. He began eating his own bowl of ice cream.
“We really should come up with names, Eddie.” Y/n said. She discarded an empty notebook that she had been holding for the longest time. She had been trying to think of good names to write down.
“Here,” Eddie said as he placed his bowl on the bedside table. He proceeded to pick up the notebook and pencil. “I got a couple names in mind,” Eddie confessed.
He quickly scribbled down a short list of names on the piece of paper. Afterwards, Eddie handed her the notebook for her to read. He grabbed his bowl of ice cream so he could keep eating it. He stuffed a spoonful in his mouth.
“Really?” Y/n looked at him. “Ozzy is your first pick?” Y/n said with a slight scoff.
“It’s a good name! It’s different. It’s unique,” Eddie was honestly trying to make a case for this option. He really just liked Black Sabbath.
“I don’t think so,” Y/n chuckled softly. She looked back down at the list. “John is a good one. But did you only pick that name because of John Lennon?” Y/n wondered.
“Uh, just look at the next one,” Eddie tried to avoid answering the question. He pointed to the notebook in her hands.
“Kirk,” Y/n read. “What? Like Kirk Hammett from Metallica?”
“I was hoping to get away with these,” Eddie let out a loud sigh of defeat and had a smile growing on his face.
“I know you too well,” Y/n shrugged her shoulders. She noticed something on the list. “You don’t have any girl names listed here,” Y/n acknowledged.
“I couldn’t think of any,” Eddie confessed.
“Watch us have a girl,” Y/n snorted.
“Would that be so bad?” Eddie asked with a hint of seriousness in his tone of voice. He looked at her with such sincerity in his eyes. “Is any of this so bad? Us having a baby?” Eddie added.
“At first, I think I was scared.” Y/n confessed. She thought about her next words carefully, knowing that Eddie was depending on them. “But things have gotten better. I feel...happy and I am excited to meet our little one soon,” Y/n said with a small smile on her face.
With that, Y/n placed her hand on top of her bulging stomach. She rubbed her hand over it a couple times in a reassuring and comforting manner. All of the sudden, Eddie placed his hand over hers. His thumb brushed against the back of her hand.
A broad smile grew at the corners of his lips. He leaned forward to press a single kiss to the center of her forehead. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder, holding her close to his side. He used his other hand to rub her stomach. He smiled at the thought of his baby being right there and eventually getting to meet him/her in short due time.
“Me too,” Eddie spoke softly.
Now, several months had passed along in the pregnancy. Everything seemed to be in order for the baby’s arrival. The doctors claimed that the baby was healthy, suggesting that he or she could arrive any day now. Despite everything, Eddie was more anxious and nervous for when the time would come. He spent most of his days fretting over his girlfriend, checking on her every couple of minutes to make sure she was okay.
One night, Y/n was tossing and turning in her sleep for many hours. She wasn’t able to get into a comfortable position and she was having minor contractions. She began to realize that they were growing a lot stronger and a lot closer together.
Carefully, she hoisted herself into a sitting position on the bed. She went to tap on Eddie’s arm in hopes of coaxing him awake. All of the sudden, Y/n felt another contraction coming. She hissed at the tight feeling, squeezing her eyes shut and clutching onto her stomach. She couldn’t take the pain any more.
“Eddie,” Y/n said breathlessly as the contraction began to subside. “Eddie, I need you to wake up.”
“What’s wrong?” Eddie asked sluggishly. He rolled over to face her, trying to burrow his face back into the pillow so he could get some sleep.
“I-I don’t know what’s happening,” Y/n confessed. She began to breathe heavily to herself. “I think the baby is coming,” Y/n replied.
Upon hearing this, Eddie’s eyes snapped open suddenly. He went straight into panic mode. He jumped out of their shared bed, hurrying around the room to find some spare clothes. He quickly grabbed his car keys off the side table.
In the background, Y/n had shifted to sit over the side of the bed. Her hands clutched at the bed sheets as another contraction struck her like a ton of bricks. She had never experienced pain like this before.
All of the sudden, Eddie knelt down in front of her. He was holding her favorite pair of shoes in his hands. He carefully slipped each shoe onto her foot before helping her stand to her feet. He walked her towards the front of the trailer with one hand secured behind her back. He closed the door behind him before heading straight towards his van. Then the two of them drove to the hospital.
After nearly eighteen hours of labor, the two young teenagers became parents to a beautiful baby girl. She was quite small, later weighing at only five pounds and some odd ounces. It also wasn’t surprising that she came out with a head full of hair, curtesy of her father.
The newborn baby had released a loud cry of protest. She was quickly cleaned by the doctor because she was covered in this white substance and a little blood. They wrapped her in a soft blanket before handing the baby to the new mother.
With some hesitation, Y/n took the bundled baby into her arms. She held her close to her chest, not really sure what else to do. She brought one of her hands up to hold the back of the baby’s head because she remembered that newborns can’t support their own head. She tried to soothe the baby by whispering soft hushes.
Naturally, with a mother’s touch, the baby seemed to quiet down in her arms. She quickly found that she had forgotten all the pains and aches she had to endure in order to birth her daughter. She was so caught up in the moment that nothing else seemed to matter anymore.
On the sidelines, Eddie was looking down at the little pink baby with a blank expression on his face. He honestly didn't know what to think or feel in that moment. He stood there frozen for a couple seconds until he felt a few small droplets of tears running down his face. He didn’t know how long he had been holding them in for.
Those were some of the most genuine tears he had ever cried before. He felt an overwhelming surge of utter joy and happiness. His heart began to swell in his chest and was threatening to burst at any second. His lips tugged into the biggest smile ever.
In a shy and timid manner, Eddie shuffled forward in his place until he was standing right beside the bed. He leaned down a little so he could get a closer look at the newborn.
The newborn baby’s head was burrowing into the crook of her mother’s neck. The warmth of her body must have felt so comforting to the baby. She had fallen asleep, breathing the occasional snuffles of sound.
Hesitantly, Eddie reached forward to stroke the top of the baby’s head and brushed some of her hair. Then his finger moved to touch the swell of her cheek. He watched the way the baby leaned into his touch. And he smiled down at her.
“She’s so soft,” Eddie commented. He proceeded to touch her little feet, which were poking out of the blanket now. He really couldn’t contain his smile. “So tiny,” Eddie added.
“She’s perfect,” Y/n said breathlessly since she was still trying to recover from just giving birth. She released a long sigh. She felt the sudden weight of sleep threatening to take hold of her at any moment.
“You should rest,” Eddie suggested. “I’ll take care of her.”
As if on cue, Eddie brought his hands forward to take his daughter into his grasp. He held one hand underneath her head and the other behind her back to support her. He handled her very cautiously and carefully at first because he was afraid she might break. She was just so little and light.
When Eddie lifted his head to look at his girlfriend, he found that she was already fast asleep. He quickly directed his attention back towards the sleeping infant in his arms. He bounced her gently in order to soothe her.
He slipped his finger into her grasp, watching the way her fingers curled around his single one. He didn’t realize how small she was. Most of his hand covered her backside and her head was still too small to fit in the palm of his other hand. He spent so much time admiring all her little details from the mess of hair on her head to her tiny fingernails. His favorite part was her little pink nose though.
As Eddie sat in one of the chairs in the hospital room, he cradled his newborn daughter close to his chest. He was staring down at her, simply watching how peacefully she slept. For a brief second, Eddie could have sworn that he had seen the baby smile up at him which only had him smile back. He had never seen anything more pure and precious than that. And he absolutely couldn’t wait until she did it again.
WHAT’S HER NAME GONNA BE???

You had known Steve Harrington for a long time. You grew up together. You used to share snacks during recess in elementary school and you’d play tetherball together in middle school. But the second you went to high school, everything changed. At least for him. He fell into the popular crowd. He played sports. He became King Steve…and you hated that part of him.
You stood back, watching as he went through girl after girl, finally landing on one Nancy Wheeler. You didn’t hate the girl, you had no reason to, but watching them walk down the halls together, watching them kiss at her locker, made your heart ache. A long time ago, you wished that could have been you.
But then it was. Finally, thankfully, it was.
Steve had grown closer to your little brother, something that you thought was a little weird, but endearing all the same. And, in turn, you two grew closer once again and it was like no time had past.
Though instead of sharing snacks, you bandaged each other’s wounds and instead of playing tetherball, you fought off otherworldly monsters.
He would bring you coffee in the morning and kiss your cheek on the way to class. He’d hold your books and you’d go on dates to the drive-in. It was perfect and wonderful and you loved every part of him.
But just when everything started to work out, it went to shit just as fast.
You weren’t really sure what had happened. It started as little arguments here and there, stemming from insecurities on both your parts. You thought you could never measure up to Nancy and Steve thought you deserved someone that didn’t work at a Family Video. It wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t a mutual breakup at all. It just…happened. And once those words spilled from your mouths, you knew it was over.
But there was another problem…your brother. Sweet, little Dustin. He had looked up to Steve since the fight with the demo-dogs, seeing him as a male figure, someone to emulate. He had been over the moon when you two started to date and telling him that you broke up would be terrible. So you and Steve made a deal. You stayed friends solely for Dustin’s sake. That meant no arguing around him, no huffing when you saw each other. You just had to pretend that everything was fine. And, for a while, it was.
Three months after you broke up…things started to get bad in Hawkins once again. And it all happened so fast. It was supposed to be spring break, you were supposed to be hanging out with your friends, but instead, you were trudging through the Upside Down for the second time in as many days, trying to kill some weird mind wizard called Vecna.
You were sitting outside of the stolen RV, watching as your brother and Eddie fought with their spears and shields, having too much fun for whatever was going on. But you let them have it. None of you knew what would happen…none of you knew if you’d survive.
You didn’t want to potentially die without telling Steve the truth. You needed to tell him that you still loved him. That you had always loved him. So, you went to find him. And maybe it would have been better if you hadn’t.
You heard him and Nancy talking inside the RV.
“You know that dream,” he said. “The one about the…six kids and the RV?” he wondered. Nancy made a hum of assent. “It was…it was always with you,” he revealed. “You were always there.”
So you stumbled away, trying to pick up the pieces of your broken heart. There were more important things to focus on. Kill Vecna. Save Max. Save Hawkins. Save the world.
------------------
“You should come with us,” Steve said as you all stood outside of Eddie’s trailer in the Upside Down.
“No,” you said, shaking your head. There were tears in your eyes. “I’m not leaving my brother. You are more than capable, Steve. You’ve got Nancy and her big guns, right?”
“Y/N,” he said quietly.
“Just go, okay? We need to finish this.”
Steve looked at you like he wanted to say something. Like there was something on the tip of his tongue, forcing its way out, but he pulled it back and settled for a nod. You watched as he, Nancy, and Robin walked out into the darkness.
“You okay?” Dustin asked as he approached you.
You cleared your throat and nodded. “Ready for the most metal concert ever?”
And it was the most metal concert ever. You all had to agree with that. Unfortunately for you all, though, the demo-bats seemed a bit angry that the music had ended. Maybe they were crawling into Eddie’s trailer to ask for an encore. That would have been a nice thought.
All you knew was that you needed to get your brother out of there. So, you watched as he climbed up the rope.
“You go,” Eddie said to you.
“No,” you said, shaking your head adamantly. “You first. I’m a good climber.” He looked at you, unconvinced. “Go, Eddie.”
He sighed heavily and climbed up the rope. You watched as he fell to the mattress below.
“Y/N! Come on!” Dustin shouted.
“I’ll be okay!” you promised him right before you cut the rope. It was something more than adrenaline that coursed through you as you ran from the trailer.
They came flying towards you before you even knew what to do, so you ran. You had your shield, swatting it at them as they started to attack you. You used your spear like a baseball bat and like a sword at the same time. Pushing them away, stabbing them. You did everything that you could to get them away.
And then they got you. Wrapping their tails around your neck, around your arms, around your legs, pulling you to the ground.
You tried to remember how Steve got out of this. He had help. You remembered that you helped. No one was there to help you. No one was there to hear your screams as they tore into you.
It sounded like someone was screaming your name in the distance, but it was so far away. And then it all stopped. The screaming, the bats, the pain. They all fell to the ground around you.
“Y/N!” Dustin cried as he ran towards you. Eddie was right behind him, a look of horror on his face. Dustin knelt beside you, pulling you into his arms.
“H-hey, little brother,” you chuckled, your breath fighting through the words.
“Why did you do that?” he cried.
“Just wanted to h-help,” you said. You choked on the blood in your mouth, letting out a grunt.
“We need to get her to a hospital,” Dustin told Eddie, tears streaming down his face. Even though Eddie knew there was no point, he nodded.
“N-No, it’s okay…Dusty,” you said. “You’re..gonna be fine…Okay?”
“No, no,” he cried, shaking his head. “You can’t leave me.”
“You got people th-that love you…Eddie and Steve and M-mom…Take c-care of her.”
“We’re gonna do it together,” Dustin nodded. “Just hold on, okay?”
You tried to shake your head, but it just came out as a jerk. “You f-finish this. Okay? Finish it.” You took another shaky breath, letting out a long, ragged exhale.
Dustin shook you in his arms, trying to bring you back to consciousness. “Y/N,” he cried. “Please, wake up…”
Dustin felt Eddie’s hand on his shoulder, felt his arms wrapping around him as he pulled him into a hug.
“Hey! Hey! We gotta go!” They heard a voice shouting in the distance. “Guys, come on!”
They looked up and turned to see Steve, Nancy, and Robin running towards them. “This whole place is gonna go to shit any second, we have to go.” He stopped running, seeing what was happening. Seeing your body on the ground. “Is…Is she hurt?”
Dustin broke down again, turning his head back to you. Steve watched as Nancy and Robin ran over, kneeling beside your body, but he couldn’t make himself move. It didn’t matter how hard he tried, he was stuck in that one place, tears falling down his face, a total sense of hopelessness filling him. He had lost you.
--------------------
“The monsters are awake,” you said, whispering in Steve’s ear, rousing him from his slumber. He groaned, muttering something as he turned over. “You promised them pancakes.”
“Pancakes,” he hummed. “That sounds good…”
“Well, they won’t make themselves,” you said, standing up, your hands on your hips.
Groaning again, Steve sat up, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. He wrapped his arms around your waist, pressing his nose to your stomach. “Can you start them?’
“Uh-uh,” you said quickly, running your hands through his hair. “You wanted six kids, you feed them.”
Steve smiled lazily and pulled you down for a kiss. “You make a good point.”
“Of course, I do,” you chuckled. “I’m your wife. I’m always right. Haven’t you learned that by now?”
“Yeah, I have,” he laughed, giving you another kiss. “I’ll be down in a second.” You smiled and turned, making your way to the door. Before you left, however, he stopped you. “Hey. I love you.”
You just snorted. “I love you too, dumbass.”
Steve’s body forced him awake. He felt like he was falling. He sat up in bed, running his hands over his face. There was a small smile on his lips, a chuckle passing them. It had been a nice dream. One he had wanted.
He had five seconds of bliss before it all came crashing down again. It was only a dream. He would never have that because you were gone.

Chapter Nine is out now, enjoy Sunflowers x 🌻
Pairing | Eddie x Female reader 18+. Steve x Robin x Female reader platonic friendship
Series summary | Dustins older sister got brought into the group during the events of Starcourt mall, 3 months on she's in her senior year and the kids are starting high school. After everything that went down she feels that she has to keep them safe at all costs, that includes keeping them way from the charismatic 'freak' Eddie Munson that runs a club based on their favourite game. They've both hated each other since freshman year -with good reason-, but when keeping distance between the kids and Eddie means putting herself in the firing line, boundaries get blurred, intentions get lost & the heart speaks louder than the brain.
The story is told from both Y/N & Eddies point of view.
What to expect | Slow burn enemies to lovers, Angst - with a happy ending (fix-it-fic if you will), fluff & smut (in the later chapters). 18+ to read this story.
Series Warnings | Mentions of abuse, drug use, 18+ smut content
Chapter word count | 10 K Word Count
Chapter warnings | Just a whole lot of fluff and a little bit of smut
As always, any & all comments/reblogs are most appreciated - Love, P. x 🌿
Authors Note | As always, if you've read the entire chapter then thank you for reading! I had to cut it off here otherwise we were going to end up with a 20 k word count chapter, that's why Eddie's POV is short - but I figured you deserve one nice chapter of happiness before I break mine & your hearts - I hope you enjoyed this sweet chapter cause 9 is where it all kicks off :( Love always P. x 🌻

Y/N | December 1985
I had very nearly decided to skip out on the last day of school before Christmas break, my bedroom was a disaster site as it reflected my frustrations of the morning. The bare hangers in my closet rattled lightly as I tore shirts off of them, my mom had nearly caught the scalloped edge of a winter coat as I sent it flying across the room when she had come to ask what I wanted for breakfast. I had even nearly landed myself in the emergency room as I tripped on a pile of jeans, catching myself on the corner of my desk with my hand before my head bashed into the sharp corner of it. That still hadn’t stopped me from trying on everything I owned. Twice.
The golden light from the quickly rising sun spilled through my window as I stared at myself in my bedroom mirror, enlightening the swirling dust particles around me. My current outfit was hanging too loosely on my frame, doing absolutely nothing to accentuate my slight curves. I sighed, my blood shot eyes reflecting my hangover. I originally thought it was humorous that I could out smoke almost everyone I knew, but it only took me three shots to get me drunk enough to lose all my inhibitions. It was less funny when I was curled around our toilet at two am this morning.
A light pink flushed my cheeks as the memories that had seared themselves into my brain permanently, flashed behind my eyelids. The blurry image of Eddie gently unwrapping my arms from around his neck as I begged him not to stop, his deep voice layered with lust as he refused me. Telling me that if we were going to sleep together, he would rather me be one hundred percent sober for it.
Tumblr media
His words had paralysed me, echoing in my mind and keeping me silent through the entire ride as Eddie drove me home in his van, the scent of what had transpired between us moments before still lingering in the air. I couldn’t tell if he meant that he regretted that I was slightly intoxicated during it or the fact that what happened between us had occurred at all. Each soundless second of the drive becoming heavier with tension until I felt like my nerves would snap at the slightest pressure. I distracted myself by watching the frost-bitten bare trees flit past my window, their swaying branches sending dancing shadows through the windshield.
It didn’t last very long before I turned back to Eddie. His knuckles whitened as his hands tightened around the steering wheel when he felt my eyes on his face, suddenly becoming too focused on the road. I took advantage over his refusal to meet my gaze, studying the outline of his perfect side portfolio. His slightly parted lips were fuller than mine and he had that type of perfect straight nose with a cute upwards curl at the tip that had all the high school girls begging their parents to pay for a nose job. His voice cut through the stillness sharply, making me jump.
“Staring is considered rude y’know y/n.” I clasped my hands together in my lap, chewing on my bottom lip.
“Yeah.” I muttered unashamedly, staring at his lashes caressing his brows as he narrowed them.
“What’s wrong.” The van drifted into the opposite lane slightly as he turned to look at me quickly. I avoided his eyes, staring into the illuminated darkness from his headlights.
I recognised the street sign as we pulled off a main road, making my words flow easier since I figured we were close to my house, and I could escape soon if necessary. “Are you mad at me?” I asked after a slight pause.
He jolted in his seat slightly as dark eyes turned to stare at me incredulously. “What? Why would I be angry with you.” Guilt curled around my heart as I prepared myself for his answer.
“Because of what happened tonight… And everything else.” I dug my sharp nails into my palms at my side, forcing myself to breathe as Eddie considered my words. He slowed down as we turned onto my street, the dark outlines of my house in the distance growing closer.
“I mean, yeah there’s probably some stuff we should talk about. But tonight?” He creased his eyebrows together and flicked his tongue over his lips, letting the van come to a crawl as a nearby streetlight washed over us. “Y/n I thought you were angry with me. I didn’t want you to feel like I took advantage over you, I should have waited until a night where you hadn’t been engaging in underage drinking.” His eyes flashed back to me, wordlessly reprimanding me but I was hanging onto his every word.
“Is that why you said no when I-?” My heart throbbed as he cut me off.
“You deserve better than a quick fuck in some dirty carpark of a dive bar y/n.” His free hand clenched in his lap as he drove with one hand, tilting his head against the headrest, causing his curls to fall back to expose his neck.
“But I couldn’t resist you completely, I had been fantasising about doing that to you for weeks, months really. I’ve been trying to figure out what to say to you, how to apologise –“ I cut his words off as I placed my cold hand on his cheek, our skin burned together as the blush on his face grew hotter beneath my touch.
I waited until his van rolled to a stop at the bottom of my driveway, he quickly switched his lights off, so nosey parents weren’t alerted to our arrival. Darkness poured into our seats from all sides, shrouding us in a secure blanket of safety that nothing could penetrate. Eddie turned in his seat, so he was facing me completely, leaning into my hand as my fingers traced the soft skin over his cheekbone.
I moved my hand to tap his chin up lightly, forcing him to meet my gaze. “If I didn’t want to, I wouldn’t have let you. Believe me Eddie, sober or not, I wanted to.” The ferocity of my words sounded too loud in the small cabin of his van, but I needed him to hear the truth of my speech. He had relieved me from the growing angst when I assumed he was lamenting over running into me tonight, it was my turn to sooth his concerns.
I leaned forward across the space between us, moving my hand from his face to curl around the back of his neck, bringing him closer so I didn’t have to bend so far. His eager mouth met mine passionately, moulding against my lips. He reached up to cup my face firmly, his free hand resting on my bare thigh just below my skirt line as I sighed against him. He stilled instantly as the lingering scent of whiskey filled the air around us. He reached up to pull my hand away from him, intwining his fingers around mine as he placed it on the seat beside me.
“I think you should go inside y/n.” I rolled my eyes and slouched back against the rough fabric of the passenger chair, pulling my grasp from his and staring into the side mirror. I reached up to pat my hair down as I realised what a mess I was, my mascara had smudged under my eyes and my rose-tinted lip gloss was spread around the corners of my mouth.
“Always so dramatic.” He laughed quietly to himself. I turned to snap at him, but his closeness caught me off guard, his seatbelt strained against his chest as he leaned towards me, his lips lightly brushing against mine as he reached past me to unlock my door. Cool night air rushed into the van as it swirled my stray hairs around my face. I shivered as Eddie pulled back, unclicking my belt for me.
“Goodnight y/n.” He smiled cockily at me as I struggled to even my breathing, I slowly pulled my feet from the van, being careful to not dislodge any of the trash that littered the floor of my seat. I pulled my thin sweater around me tightly as I let the door close quietly, jogging around his van towards my front door. The frozen grass crunched and snapped beneath my shoes as I spun to turn back to Eddie, the sound of his creaking window reverberating into the silent night as he rolled it down.
He loudly whispered my name as he tossed something shiny in my direction, Steve’s keys jingled as they landed in my cupped hands. I internally groaned as I pictured his face when he woke up and realised both his car and I were missing. When I had initially tried to leave the bar, Eddie had reached out to grab the end of my sweater, trapping my wrist in his grasp as I flailed despondently against his strong grip. He had laughed and snatched Steve’s keys from my fingers, twirling them around in his own as I glowered at him.
“Friends don’t let friends drive drunk y/n.” Accepting defeat I had shoved past him, storming around to the passenger side of his van and slamming the door harder than needed, trying not to let it show on my face that I was more upset at Eddie calling me his friend rather than him stopping me from driving myself home.
I tucked them into my pocket as I looked back at his eyes, glinting brightly in the darkness. “I’ll see you at school?” My voice drifted into a higher pitch as my statement trailed off into a question. I didn’t get a response except for a wide, eye crinkling cheeky grin as Eddie’s van roared to life, the sound resonating off the rock wall at the bottom of our property. He raised his brows and jerked his chin towards my front door, a silent command passing between us. Warmth filled me as I realised he was waiting for me to make it inside safely, throwing him a sweet smile that I was sure he couldn’t see in the dim light, I turned and jogged up our angled driveway. I twisted back to watch the cloud of smoke puff from his exhaust as he chugged down my street, the sound of his favourite band drifting into the empty air. I couldn’t help the giddy smile that adorned my face as I pulled my own set of keys from my sweater, the soft sound of jangling metal echoed off the brick as I struggled to get the door unlocked. Even as I tip toed as lightly as I could through the entry way, my footsteps were still far too loud as my eyes adjusted to the outlines of familiar furniture in the pitch black.
My hand shot up to protect my eyes as the living room light flashed on, momentarily blinding me.
“Well well well.” I lowered my arm to glare at Dustin as he spun around in one of the recliners, the family cat purring on his lap as he stroked it, looking like a scene of some evil villain from a corny movie.
“Care to explain yourself y/n?” My own enchanted smile slid from my face as a knowing one spread across my brothers.
Tumblr media
My bedroom door creaked as someone nudged it open, snapping me out of my thoughts. My eyes flashed up in the mirror to meet Dustin’s, he had his school bag slung up his shoulder and his walkie grasped in his hand. His annoyed expression was replaced with an amused one as he glanced around my room, taking in the view in front of him.
“Shut up.” I warned him as he opened his mouth, causing a taunting laugh to explode from him. I sighed and ripped one of my better jackets off, shrugging out of it and tossing it onto my bed, reaching for my regular thread-bare jean one. Dustin doubled over as his laughter wracked him, grabbing onto the door frame for support.
“I’m sorry I’m sorry.” He gulped between breaths, waving his hand to try to calm himself. As he eyes met mine, he lost it completely and bent over, his hands on his knees as his bag slid down his arm.
My entire effort was undoubtedly wasted, I had no idea where Eddie and I stood after last night, he probably wouldn’t even turn up for the last day before break. And just because we – he – after what happened between us didn’t mean things had completely changed, we didn’t talk about everything what we needed to, actually we hadn’t done a lot of talking at all. I wasn’t sure what I planned on doing if he wasn’t at school this morning. We did need to speak, I figured that I could go to his trailer after school, but the memory of what happened the last time I tired that, churned uncomfortably in my abdomen.
“What’s all this?” My mother’s sweet voice tinkled from the doorway as she stood next to Dustin, watching him wipe away his tears of amusement.
“Nothing.” I snapped, slamming my own bag down and shoving heavy textbooks into it. “Can I just get one damn moment of privacy? Is that too much to ask for in this house.” Tension filled the air at my cruel words, regret filling me the moment they left my mouth.
“Y/n.” She yelled, Dustin straightened up next to her as shock spread across his features, our mom never really got cranky with us, especially since dad left, but when she did, we knew we’d messed up. “Don’t you take that tone with me; I don’t know what’s been up with you the past few weeks, but you’ve been stroppy and moody and rude. It stops now.” She gestured her hand wildly around my bedroom, clicking her fingers at the piles of clothes on my floor.
“And it’s an absolute mess in here, you’re grounded until it’s clean.” The cat appeared in the doorway, slinking in between her legs and wrapping its tail around her, she bent down to pick it up, holding my gaze disappointingly.
Dustin quietly slunk away down the hall, undoubtedly to quickly shove his own mess out of sight to avoid a similar punishment. I relaxed my posture and turned to my mom, my face softening.
“Okay, I’m sorry. I’ll clean it when I get home from school. Thank you for making us breakfast by the way.” I apologised, smiling at her face lighting up at my agreement to eat the food she had cooked. I heard Dustin groan from his room as she exclaimed happily, saying that she would serve up a plate for both of us before we left for school. He glowered at me as he passed my door, heading to the kitchen when our mom called out to us, I grimaced at him sarcastically, a sense of glee floating through me that I was able to get back at him slightly for laughing at me earlier.
It was my turn to laugh as he met me at my car to drive to school, pulling handfuls of what were supposed to homemade hashbrowns, from his pockets and chucking it into the rose bushes along our driveway.
“Shut up.” He grumbled, brushing off the crumbs from his hands as I pulled my door open. “You didn’t eat them either.” I chuckled and tossed my bag into the backseat, sliding into my car. I had just started to let it roll down the hill when I slammed on my breaks with a loud screech, sending Dustin to slam against the dashboard.
My wide, panic-stricken eyes met Steve Harringtons raging ones in the rear-view mirror as he stood behind my car, his arms crossed as he blocked our path, my overnight bag gently swaying over his shoulder. The bike he had evidently ridden to my house was casted aside carelessly, the back wheel still spinning manically. His expression darkened as his lips pressed into a thin, disappointed line, morphing into the specific ‘outraged mother’ look that only Steve could pull off.
“Shit.” I muttered, sliding the gearstick back into park.

I didn’t think I had ever felt so nervous in my entire life as I headed towards my first class, like there was a flock of butterflies trying to fly up my throat. I hadn’t even felt this nervous when I had to dance in front of my entire middle school at the talent show, I sent a silent prayer to the powers above that today wouldn’t finish in a similar embarrassing end.
Steve’s twenty minuet long lecture about ‘stealing his baby’ this morning hadn’t exactly helped to calm my nerves either, he only relented when I’d promised to cover his shifts at family video whenever he had a date for the next six months. A pretty easy offer on my part since I had little faith in Steve’s ability to pull chicks. He, on the other hand, had a different opinion regarding his prowess.
I let the heard of students push me towards the Calculus classroom door as they all rushed to get to their desks before the bell rung, none of us wanting to be subjected to another classic ‘Mr Mundy complaint special’. I faltered at the door to check my reflection in the window, making sure my makeup was still as perfect as it was when I applied it with careful hands hours ago. Rough shoulders shoved past me as we all squeezed in through the small doorframe.
A mixture of relief and disappointment flooded through me as my eyes flashed to the empty chair next to mine, a breath I didn’t realise I had been holding rushed past my lips as I swerved around tables to take a seat at my desk. It appeared that Eddie wasn’t the only one who had decided to ditch, I was the only one in the third row of the practically half empty class.
The low hum of tedious chatter died down as Mr Mundy strutted into the room, slamming his briefcase down on his desk and taking a deep drink from his travel mug. He cringed and shook his head slightly, breathing through his mouth as whatever he had added to his coffee hit him a little too hard.
He set it down carefully and replaced it with a stick of chalk, waving his hands as he turned towards the blackboard. “Don’t sit there like a bunch of morons, get your books out.”
With stiff movements I bent down under my chair to grab my notebook from my bag, my hair fell across my vision as someone shoved the door open loudly, sending a wave of fresh air across me. I froze as I recognised the scuffed, once white, reebok sneakers smacking against the dirty floor as he made his way past my desk.
“Ah, thank you for gracing us with your presence today, Mr Munson.” My cheeks flamed at the teachers’ words, still hunched over and hiding away in my hair.
“Pleasures all mine Mr Mundy, I’m sure.” I could hear the grin in his voice, I pressed my lips together to hide my own smile as I leant back up before I could draw attention to myself, slowly flipping my book to an empty page.
I could feel Eddie’s eyes on my face, but I refused to meet his stare. I felt like my stomach was in my throat, my heartbeat thundering in my ears as the memories and feelings of last night came flooding back, I wasn’t sure what was going to be reflecting on his face when I met his gaze, but I knew I wasn’t ready to find out. In the bleak coldness of the winter morning, free of alcohol and desire and heady smoke, Eddie very well may have changed his mind completely about me, deciding that he didn’t want damaged good after all.
Last night had only confirmed what I had been lying to myself about for weeks, I couldn’t deny that Eddie had a hold on me, and I had been a fool to think I could reject my feelings by ignoring him. He wasn’t the type of person anyone could forget, he shone far too brightly, demanding the attention of every room he walked into by just being himself. I was astounded how I had never noticed it before, how I only ever saw the label that lesser men had branded him with. Freak.
His dark eyes that crinkled with his wide grins made my heart sing, his infectious smiles never failing to place one of my own on my face. He made the world a better place by just existing, how anyone – myself included- had ever seen him as dangerous, or evil or weird, was beyond me. Not one damn person in the cesspit that was Hawkins, was perfect, but if anyone came close it was him. Down to his core, Eddie was good, pure. And that was a hell of a lot more than could be said for anyone else in this hypercritical town.
I wanted every part of him, everything he had to offer this miserable world. I wanted to know everything about him, all the secrets he kept safely hidden away from the judgement of Hawkins. In that moment I had wanted to reveal myself to him, overcome with the need to tear my façade away and bear the scars beneath the surface to him. Since Starcourt, no one had come close to making me feel as safe as Eddie had last night, and it wasn’t the touches shared between us or the sweet words he whispered into my ear. It was him; it was Eddie himself that kept the chilling voices and disturbing memories at bay. His warm embrace had cloaked me in a protective peace I couldn’t even really remember ever experiencing. He was the most intoxicating drug that I had come across, one hit of him was more potent than anything else I had smoked or drank. I was never going to be able to give him up.
Not by my choice at least.
My heart twisted painfully at the thought of his reaction to the real me, when he realises how corrupt and dark my festering soul remained, and how unworthy of him I was. The battle of wanting to be honest with him about who I was, and the selfish desire to keep him in the dark so he wouldn’t run screaming from me, waged viciously in the forefront of my mind.
A strong, veiny hand shot across my vision, the sunlight glinting off his rings prettily as he tore a piece of paper from the bottom of my blank page. I looked up curiously to meet his gaze, his eyes twinkled suspiciously as he stared back at me up through his long lashes, the scratching of his pencil competing with Mr Mundy’s as he scribbled something hastily on the paper.
A heated blush crept up my neck as he hooked his foot around the leg of my chair, pulling me towards him. I held my breath as he crossed the space between us, the band of my jeans snapping back into place as he slipped the note into the top of my waist. Eddie winked at me as I dropped my gaze in awkwardness, a light laugh bubbling in my chest. He cocked an eyebrow as I read his question, my smile widening as I hurriedly wrote my answer on the back of it, checking that no one was watching as I slid the paper across his desk, his fingers tickled mine as he swept it out from under my grasp, the slight touch sending a shock of heat up my arm to blossom throughout the rest of my frame.
Tumblr media
The last time I met Eddie in the woods, the trees were covered in burnt oranges leaves that crinkled underfoot when they finally fell to the ground. But as I walked through them now down the beaten track towards the picnic table, the branches were bare. Eerily daunting as they rocked in the wind, the trees sharp arms turned into claws out of the corner of my sight, reaching out towards me to tear at my jumper as I rushed to escape their depths. My hyperventilating breath slowed as I neared the break in the tree line, spotting Eddie’s hulking shadow leaning across the table through the cluster of trees at the end of the path.
The tightness in my chest eased as I watched him, he was leaning back on both elbows with his face turned up to the dark sky, watching vividly as his clouds of cigarette smoke swirled in the air in lazy patterns. A sweet smile spread across his face as he turned towards my noisy entrance.
“Y/n.” He chucked away his smoke and squished it into the dirt with his shoe as he stood from the table, opening his arms as I jogged across the remaining space between us, throwing myself against his chest as he wrapped me in his jacket.
“Thought you’d never make it.” He grunted and stumbled a little under my weight, his face flickering with shock at my excitement to see him. We both paused for a moment as the memories of our last meeting in the same spot washed over us. I shook my head at how different our situation was compared to last time, grateful that last night had ripped away the façade that both of us were holding up.
“Mmmm.” I mumbled against his chest; my face smothered against the fabric as his earthy scent filled me. I didn’t bother to waste our precious time by telling him that Jason had cornered me after class, slamming his arm against my locker to block my path, demanding that I meet up with him again. After I got over my brief shock from his audacity – and the fear his psychotic gaze shot through me, I had told him that if he even as much as breathed in my direction, we would have a repeat of what happened at the 7/11, except this time I would hit him with my car. The safety of witnesses parading through the corridor made me braver than I would have been if he caught me alone, I tightened my arms around Eddie as the thought made my stomach flip anxiously.
Eddie laughed and pressed his face into my hair, inhaling deeply.
“I love your smell.” I scoffed and pulled back to look at him disbelievingly, he looked abashed like he hadn’t meant to say it out loud. I raised an eyebrow as his face reddened.
“Uh what?” I laughed, pulling back from his arms slightly to get a better look at him. A nervous chuckled slipped past his lips as he avoided my gaze.
“Your new perfume, I noticed it the first time you came over to my place.” He removed a hand from my side to rub the back of his neck. My mouth popped open lightly in surprise, astonished the Eddie had noticed my fragrance, and the fact that it was a different one.
“Anyway.” He continued when I didn’t respond, leaning back against the table and spreading his legs as he tugged me between them, pulling me closer until I lost my balance and fell against him. He pushed a stray hair away from my face and tucked it behind my ear as my hands settled on his upper thighs to regain my poise. His smile spread impossibly wider as my cheeks blushed from our closeness, becoming increasingly aware of how near my hands were to him. “I haven’t stopped thinking about you since last night.”
His words pierced through me like an arrow, burrowing into my heart. Pure joy flowed through me for a split second as his words made me feel like I was floating, but it was short lived as the way Eddie was looking at me made me come crashing back down to earth, a cold wave of realisation washing over me. I cared about him far too much to not allow him the option of walking away from this right now, from me.
The thought sent a lump in my throat making it hard for me to breathe. My hands shook slightly as I tried to form the words that Eddie needed to hear, I shoved them into my pockets to hide my panic. The thought of losing him was unbearable, but the knowledge of how much he would hate me if I let him fall into the perfectly shaped hole in my life (like it was ripped apart specifically for him to put back together), finding out who I actually was and what I was truly capable of only too late, was excruciating. Tears welled in my eyes as I prepared for the endearing look in his eyes to turn to one of disgust.
“Eddie-“ I was cut off as he stood up abruptly, switching our place as he shoved me back against the table, he trampled my toes lightly as he moved closer, but my groan of protest was stolen from me as his eyes blazed with fury.
“Don’t y/n.” His hair whipped around his face wildly as a cold breeze danced across the clearing, goosebumps raised on my arms beneath his large warm hands, his fingers digging into my skin as his dark eyes widened.
“Don’t what?” I breathed, a grey squirrel scattered up the trunk of a tree nearby, sending flakes of bark to flutter to the ground. We both jumped as the intrusive sound broke our eye contact.
“Don’t ruin this.” My eyes that had drifted to a small beauty mark near the corner of his mouth, snapped back to meet his as his words sent a shiver through me.
“Wha-“
“That’s your ‘I am about to deliver really bad news’ face.” My expression contorted at his crude impression of me.
“I do not sound like that.” I pressed my mouth into a thin line to show him I was not impressed.
Eddie laughed boomingly, throwing his head back as the sound reverberated off the trees. His voice twinkled like sweet music, and I couldn’t help but smile at his carefree attitude, marvelling at the glimpse of the real him slipping through the cracks, each second he was away from the arbitration of our school classmates, his carefully construed mask of defence crumbled away.
“Y/n, you always sound like that. But this is the happiest I can remember being, I just want to live in it a little longer, being around you… It’s like there was this screaming white noise swirling around in my head that I didn’t notice before, and every time I’m around you… It’s dead quiet, peaceful. Pretending to ignore you for the last few weeks has been torture, the noise has been deafening louder than ever before. But watching you act like I didn’t exist… ” His voice caught in his throat as he tilted his forehead against mine, his breath fanning my face as his chest heaved with his words. I squirmed as his crotch pushed against me, the fabric of our jeans rubbing together as he pressed deeper into me, I gasped in pain as the jagged edge of the picnic table stabbed into the backs of my thighs.
“I know we have a lot to figure out after the past couple of weeks, but just let me enjoy the quiet for a little bit, please y/n.” His eyes burned passionately as he brought his lips down to mine, effectively drowning any of sort of protest from me, even though I hadn’t had one. He was making this impossible, how could I deny giving Eddie what he was begging for when it was everything I wanted aswell?
I tried to form an argument that made sense to both of us, or even something sweet to whisper back to his admission, but his kiss sent my mind blank. The taste of his tongue as it slipped across my bottom lip made my knees shake. The precarious willpower I was holding onto collapsed in an instant, like it was made from dust.
“Okay.” I moaned against his face, reaching up to twist my fingers in his hair to hold him to me as he began to pull away. He grinned as my face fell into a pout, bumping his nose against mine to place one quick peck against my lips. His face was flushed with excitement as he watched a flock of birds fly overhead, their shadows spurring over us.
“Okay.” He mocked me, laughing as he stepped back from me completely. He held my hand and swung it between us as he thought about something hard, sticking his tongue out the corner of his mouth as I narrowed my eyes questioningly.
“Come to my place tonight.” He said suddenly, standing up straight as his tone turned serious, watching my expression carefully for my reaction. Nerves chocked me at the implication behind his words. Without the courage of alcohol urging me on, as it had last night, I was terrified. It wasn’t that I had changed my mind about it, or Eddie, I just wasn’t experienced and he clearly was. The fleeting moment of daring that overpowered me last night, was nowhere to be found now as I shivered uncontrollably in the cold, secluded clearing.
It didn’t matter anyway; I couldn’t risk getting caught sneaking to his place and being grounded until I was well into my fifties. I sighed as his face shone with earnest, his expression dropping into a mortified one as his misread my reaction.
“Oh -uh – we don’t have to, I just thought after last night that –“ His face reddened as he stuttered over his words, spinning away from me to kick a rock as he stuffed his hands into his pockets. I reached out to grab the tail of his vest, refusing to let him walk further away.
“No, it’s not that – I mean I did. I still do… Eddie… there’s a reason we had to ditch last class and not meet up after school.” I pointed out to him, amused that he hadn’t questioned it earlier. I figured he was so used to breaking school rules on a daily basis that he hadn’t even bothered to argue or ask why.
“I’m grounded.” I resigned, feeling stupid to even be saying those words at the ripe age of eighteen. I ducked my head as chagrin filled my face, listening to his teasing laugh echo off the surrounding trees.
“Bit of a bad girl are we y/n?” He smirked at me, reaching out to stroke my cheekbone with the back of his hand. The metal of his bulky rings was even colder than usual in the winter air, stinging against my skin as he dragged them back and forth.
“Something like that.” I muttered, refusing to meet his gaze.
“Wait.” His hand stilled against my face. “Did you get in trouble over last night? Because of me?”
I laughed at the panic stretching across his features, his brows narrowing as his mouth turned down in worry. “No Eddie, my mom loves you, she keeps asking Dustin when he’s going to bring you around again. ‘Such a nice boy, I’m glad he’s been looking after Dustykins at school. Too skinny though, he needs to let me feed him.’”
A wide grin slowly spread across his face at my poor imitation of my mom. Dustin had been dodging her requests awkwardly whenever I was in earshot, shooting me a concerned glance as he waited for me to blow up at the mention of Eddie’s name, after I stopped driving them to Hellfire, he was smart enough to have figured out something was wrong, but scared enough to keep his mouth shut and not ask me for details.
Our mom was obliviously in the dark about everything of course, so she didn’t notice the painful grimaces on my face and my quick escapes every time she discussed him. She had realised my black miserable moods over the past month, but just not the reason for them.
“Are you going invite me to dinner with your mother y/n? How very normal of you.” He laughed as I pinched him playfully, the image of him playing house with my family sending strange stirring through my frame, I couldn’t picture a more obscure scenario of Eddie, but the thought of him charming my mom and laughing with Dustin over a lovingly burnt meal, set a smile on my face.
“Maybe – if I wasn’t grounded.” I reminded him gently, his laughter died down as he examined me, I could practically hear his brain ticking away behind his stare as a mischievous expression filled his face.
“What?” I groaned, not trusting the look in his eyes.
“Nothing.” He pressed his lips together like he was hiding a secret, he pushed away from the table next to me, grabbing my hand to tug me along behind him. “C’mon, schools about to finish and you need to get home since you’re grounded.” He raised his eyebrows and smirked at me over his shoulder as he dragged me into the darkness of the forest, the trees whipping even wilder than before. My stomach did a little flip as his smile made me wary of what he was planning, not trusting him at all.

I knocked a small potted plant of the top of my dresser onto my soft carpet as I jumped in fright, dropping my folded pair of jeans into the open draw. I spun around as fear gripped me, peering into the darkness outside my window.
Ping
I watched the rock clatter against my windowsill before tumbling out of sight, my breath whooshed from me as my panic faded. The top of a familiar curly head of hair popped up briefly in the bottom corner of the window. Sighing in disbelief I slid the draw shut and crossed my empty floor, my now extremely clean room was completely devoid of any mess. As soon as I got home from school I set to tidying up, now it looked better than the day we first moved in.
I checked over my shoulder to make sure my door was properly closed before I wrenched the window up, the glass creaking slightly as it resisted against me. Cold air swarmed into the room as I leant over the edge.
“Eddie.” I whispered into the nothingness, golden light from my desk lamp poured out onto the grass below but I couldn’t see anyone. I had just begun to think I’d imagined it when something large moved in the shadows.
“Jesus.” I gasped as Eddies wide grin slid into view, his leather jacket banged against the wood panelling as he leant next to the window, rolling a smoke between his fingers.
“No, just me. Sorry.” He laughed, not sounding apologetic in the slightest.
“You scared me asshole.” I swallowed as my breathing slowed, my heart hammering away loudly in my chest.
“What are you doing here?” I leant forward on my elbows through the window as he stood up from where he was leaning to light his cigarette. The flame illuminated his face in an orange glow before we were purged back in darkness, the cherry of his smoke running hot as he took a drag.
“Well, you said you were grounded. I figured that meant you couldn’t leave your house. And this way, you’re not.” He shrugged his shoulders as he placed his hands above my window, leaning in towards me as his smoke billowed around my face. As he moved, his shirt rode up, exposing a pale strip of skin just above his belt. My breathing quickened as he waited for my response.
“You’re an idiot Eddie Munson.” I laughed, letting my eyes travel up his chest until I met his penetrating gaze, the ash at the tip of his cigarette dropped dangerously as he watched me. He inhaled deeply before pulling it from his mouth and extinguishing it in the dead grass beneath his feet, lifting his shoulders up and down as he shivered comically.
“You gonna move Henderson or am I going to freeze out here?” I stepped backed in shock as he gripped the sides of windowsill, his rings straining against the thin skin of his knuckles as he agilely pulled himself through it. I bit back a retort of surprise as he unfolded himself in front of me, impressed that he had managed to climb through the window so smoothly even being as he tall as he was.
His strong aura quickly filled my small room, no matter how far I stepped back I felt like I was too close to him. The intimacy of the situation hit me like a tonne of bricks, becoming acutely aware of how thin the material of my grey pyjama shorts and singlet were. I swore at myself for not wearing a cuter matching set, my old gym shorts were in better condition than the rags I chose to put on tonight. He barely spared me a quick glance as I crossed my arms over my chest, turning to examine my clean room, he looked at my half-made bed for a split second before turning back to me with a knowing grin.
“Expecting company, are you?” He raised an eyebrow cockily, running his hand across the chain bracelet around his wrist as he smirked at me.
“Yeah, my boyfriend’s going to be here in a minuet, so you better go.” I wasn’t sure what made me say it, but a feeling of shock zapped through us both as he met my gaze questioningly at my words.
“Who is he?” He joked threateningly, not quite concealing a tinge of hardness layering his tone.
Dustin strolled past my closed door at that moment, banging on it as he passed. “Thanks for using all the hot water dingus.” We held our breaths as his footsteps faded, his own door slamming shut a few seconds later. The tension dissipated as we both let out nervous gulps of laughter. I tip toed to my bedroom door to lock it, rattling it just to make sure.
“We better be quiet, don’t want little Henderson knowing I’m in here. Kid might have a heart attack, aren’t you supposed to hate me or something?” I could hear his barely concealed laugh as I rolled up a towel and shoved it against the gap under the door, hoping it might work as a sound barrier.
“Actually…” I drawled, slowly rising to face him, embarrassment showing on my face. “We’re already kinda busted.” Eddie crossed his arms across his Hellfire shirt, raising his eyebrows curiously as he scoffed, waiting for me to continue.
“He saw you drop me home last night, so I had to tell him.” His eyes flashed up to mine shocked, opening his mouth in protest before I cut him off, knowing what he was about to ask.
“Ew no, you think I’d tell my brother about my sex life?” I whispered harshly, watching his exclamation bubble to his lips.
“What did you tell him then?” He whispered back fiercely, as the sound of my mom putting away dishes in the kitchen drifted through the walls.
“I just said that we’d had a misunderstanding, but that we’d figured it out.”
“What did he say to that?” His brows lowered as he relaxed slightly.
“Nothing important, he’s just happy that he can bore me with DnD stories again.” I rolled my eyes, but Eddie didn’t see, he had started pacing back and forth across my room. I busied myself by tossing the rest of my pillows onto my bed, pulling the covers back and switching on my heated blanket.
“Feels weird being in here without you yelling at me.” He muttered after a moment; his voice was a gentle whisper as I heard him slide my window shut. When I spun around to face him, he had turned away from me, drumming his fingers against my wooden side table as he traced the outlines of the water stains forming odd patterns on the top.
“Yeah well, I don’t mind you being in here this time.” I beamed as I watched the corner of his cheek lift, like he was hiding his own smile.
“You don’t mind?” He walked over to my desk and leant against it, placing his hands on either side of him against the tabletop. I groaned as I tried to usher him back off of it, as the edge of his jacket knocked my carefully stacked notebooks. Eddie laughed and stayed rooted to the spot, so I had to lean across him to fix them back into place, reaching out to trap my wrist in his hand as I pulled away from him.
“Is it okay that I’m here y/n?” I stopped breathing as his touch sent flames up my arm, his eyes blackened as I moved closer to him unconsciously, the rich smell of cigarettes and cologne invading my senses. Goosebumps prickled on my skin as his eyes darted across my bare chest, the lacy fringe of my shirt siting just below my cleavage line. I watched Eddie’s Adams apple roll up and down as he gulped nervously, his breathing coming quicker as I lifted my hand to caress his lips, his hot gasp tickling my skin.
I nodded slightly, pressing my lips together as cold droplets of water rolled off the ends of my freshly washed hair and down my back, the sensation sending a shive up my spine.
“It’s okay.” I sighed, he stood up straight and shrugged out of his jacket, draping it lightly over my desk chair. He pushed my wet hair away from my face as he studied me, I caught his hand as it brushed across my cheek, lacing my fingers through his as I turned and towed him towards my bed. Eddie waited as I crawled across the covers, my tiny shorts riding up dangerously as I shuffled on my hands and knees until I was pressed against the wall, making room for him to lay down with me. My confidence faltered as I turned back to see him resisting a smile, his crossed arms covering his mouth slightly as his eyes met mine. The laughter left his eyes as he watched my face fall, reaching down to pull the covers over me and tuck them around my body.
“Beautiful y/n, do you want to go to sleep?” He asked me, as he wiped his palms against his jeans, his shadow on the wall behind us moved with him as my bedroom lamp glowed softly. I bit down on my warm lip as I shook my head, unable to tell him what I really wanted. I patted the empty space beside me and shuffled back, Eddie didn’t hesitate to kick off his sneakers as he laid down next to me gently, trapping me under the covers as he lounged on top of them.
I huffed and pouted as he repositioned himself until he got comfortable, brushing his curls away that fell into my face. I didn’t know how to – as Steve would say – make a move, he tilted his head down towards me as he heard me sigh in frustration, wrapping his arm around me and pulling my head onto his chest.
Okay, this wasn’t a bad start. After a moment of silence filled the air between us, our synchronised breathing the only noise, his body vibrated as he started to hum a tune I wasn’t familiar with. Nerves suffocated me as I pictured myself reaching up to pull his mouth down to mine, I didn’t understand why I was so nervous, I’d kissed Eddie enough times by now to know how his lips would feel.
In the cold night air swirling around us, it just felt a little too real as we laid in my bed, scary.
Electricity zinged in the space between us as I pushed away all my thoughts and fears and prepared myself, telling myself not to be a coward. But as I looked up at Eddies face, I found his eyes already trained on me, and my hand that was resting on his chest, feeling his beating heart, bunched up the fabric of his shirt as his stare sent an overwhelming feeling of want through me.
“Eddie…” I whispered between us; his heart hammering away faster beneath my palm. “Please-“ My pleas were cut off as Eddie crushed his lips to mine.

Eddie | December 1985
This had to be about her. But it was torturous as she squirmed beneath me, I pressed myself further into her as she gasped against my mouth, the thin fabric of our clothes and flimsy sheets barely separating our searing bodies. She’d told me she was a virgin last night after I’d pulled my mouth from her, I didn’t think she’d remembered telling me but as soon as she let it slip, I’d knew I wasn’t going to be able to let her first time be in some dingy carpark in front of a bar.
Y/n deserved better.
I wasn’t, however, strong enough to stay away from her for more than twenty-four hours. The pounding white noise in the back of my head sent me running straight back into her clutches. Even after she’d told me about being grounded, my mind had worked overtime to figure out how to get her alone. Running the risk of her mom or worse – Dustin – catching us, was worth it in my eyes. The box of condoms I had picked up on the way to her house, burned in my back pocket.
She moaned against my mouth as she allowed my further access into her, running my tongue along her sweet lips, the taste of her sending me into an almost frenzy. Y/n reached up to wrap her hands in my hair, sparks of pleasure shooting through me as she tugged on it lightly. I brought my knees up slightly to bare my weight so I wasn’t crushing her beneath me, leaning down on my elbow beside her head so I could use my free had to explore her body.
My fingers traced the soft lines of her chest, dancing across the light fabric that covered her breasts, she shuddered beneath my touch making my dick twitch beneath my jeans. She moaned quietly as she felt me move above her, rolling her hips up to meet mine. I reached up to grab her headboard to steady myself, reminding myself to be gentle and slow with her. Y/n breathed my name as my mouth moved against her neck, leaving soft kisses as I trailed across her jaw. Pulling her hand from my hair to grasp my shoulder, she wrapped her legs around my waist, digging her heel into my lower back to pull me in deeper to her, I groaned in frustration as she melted against me.
God she was making it impossible to hold back.
Before I became undone completely, I sat back on my heels to devour the perfect view in front of me. Her mouth fell into an attractive pout as she groped the empty air between us, murmuring for me to come back to her. My ravenous eyes consumed the milky soft white skin of her lower abdomen to where her shirt had been pushed up. Soaking up every second of it, I brought my hands to her sides to pull it up over her chest, she leant forward from the pillows a little to help as I slid it over her head. She collapsed back against the bed as she reached up to cross her arms over her bare chest, chewing on her lips nervously. I wrapped my hands around her wrists to pull them to her side, leaning forward to press a kiss to her soft lips.
“You’re so beautiful y/n.” An incredible blush filled her cheeks as she relaxed beneath me, spreading her legs so I fit against her comfortably. My hard-on was screaming in pressure as it struggled against my jeans, but I needed to make y/n ready first.
A pretty smile played on her lips as I left wet kisses along her neck, my nose brushing against her skin as I trailed down her chest, taking her nipple into my mouth and sucking slightly until I felt it harden beneath my tongue, swiftly moving my head to her other one. I still had her hands pinned beneath my grasp; she moaned a little too loudly as she struggled against me. I let go of her to slip my hand against her mouth, laughing into her stomach as I realised she was definitely a screamer.
A devilish smile spread across my face as I thought about where I could take her to explore that particular trait.
She nodded against my hand as someone’s snores down the hall faltered, showing me that she understood.
I removed my hand to caress the soft inner skin of her thighs, squeezing them as I got closer to her sensitive spot. She gasped as my fingers brushed past her clothed slit, my eyes burned as they flashed up to meet her flushed face, intrigued by the noises my touches were eliciting from her delicious mouth. I spurred forward to kiss away the moan from her lips.
She bent her knees, widening her legs as I settled in closer to her, pressing my hardened cock against her. Another quiet gasp slipped past her lips as her eyes broadened. The pressure beneath my jeans causing her eyes to go wide.
“It’s okay y/n, I’ll go slow. I’ll be gentle. I promise.” I waited for her to nod before bringing my mouth back to hers.
My purposeful fingers trailed down her abdomen, tracing her bare skin above the band of her shorts. My hand hesitated as it skimmed across tender skin, I tugged down on her pyjamas to expose a long, red jagged scar that wrapped along her side, she froze beneath my touch as our gazes met.
“Who did this?” I demanded, my rough voice breaking through the quiet. Tears welled in her eyes and I wrenched forward to kiss them away, not knowing the cause behind her pain but wishing I could take it on myself. A silent sob wracked her chest as she shook her head, wrapping her arms around my neck to crush our lips together. I groaned as I surrendered to her touch.
It was different this time, the distant childhood friend that I had lost my own virginity to, the blonde bartender from The Hideout that had been the extent of my sexual experience- neither of them could compare. Y/n meant something to me, even though the feeling of her beneath my body sent dangerous thoughts into my mind of all kinds of dirty things I wanted to do to her, above all I just wanted to rip her up into my arms and shield her from the the pain of the world, protecting her from anything that would dare lay it’s hand on something so precious.
I tightened my arms around her until it felt like she would snap under the pressure, but y/n didn’t complain, she sighed in content as our lips moved flawlessly together
As I gripped her hips to slow down her grinding up against me, she groaned with frustration, her impatience breaking through. I lent forward, bumping against her to rip my shirt over my head, I moaned as she knotted her fingers through my curls, pulling my chest down against her naked one, our hot skin molding together perfectly. My hips bucked down into her with each pleasure shock her mouth sent through me.
I removed my lips from hers to trace kisses down her sternum, pausing as I reached the top of her shorts.
Her heavy breathing stopped as she looked down to meet my eyes staring back at her, she splayed her hands across her stomach self-consciously. I pried her hands away and pinned them at her sides. I intertwined our fingers together, my thick rings pressed against her hands. My free hand slowly rubbed up and down her slit beneath her clothes, finding her sensitive spot and rubbing soft circles on it, feeling her heat burn under my touch. She moaned and rolled her head back, squeezing her eyes shut as my pace increased.
I stopped abruptly as my own abdomen clenched, just the mere sight of her writhing beneath my hands was enough to send me over the edge. I tapped the side of her ass to get her to lift up slightly, shimming down her shorts until they reached her ankles. I pulled them from her and tossed them aside, running my hands along her soft skin as I noticed the damp patch in her panties. She reached up to run her fingers over my chest, tracing the line of hair that ran down my stomach. Her hands fell to my belt buckle as our eyes met.
I flattened myself against her, cupping her cheek as her mouth moved with mine, my free hand skilfully freeing a condom from the packet and bringing it between us, I broke apart from her for a second to tear it open with my teeth, crushing my mouth back to hers in an instant. I fidgeted a bit as I hastened to undo my belt, pulling my jeans down slightly. She gasped as my cock fell out against her stomach, my pre cum dripping against her skin. Her eyes flashed down between us before looking back up at me, a mixture of nervousness and excitement on her face.
She bit her bottom lip between her teeth as I rolled the condom over my cock, nervously waiting for what came next. I hovered above her for a still moment, our beaths mingling. Leaning down on one arm, my hand still cupping her cheek, I pulled her panties to the side as I pressed my dick against her entrance, running it up and down her opening, collecting the wetness my fingers had created.
I gasped and she writhed madly as the new sensation took over us, y/n's arms tightened around me as she hid her face in my chest. I clutched her sheets next to her head, twisting and pulling them until they came off the mattress as her warmth and wetness surrounded me, trying not to explode. I had never felt something more heavenly; the feeling of y/n was other worldly. Sinful. Illegal.
She gasped loudly as I pushed my first few inches in, stopping for a moment as her walls expanded, making room for me. I moaned against her neck as I felt her wetness dripping around me.
“Fuck y/n, all for me?” Her breath shuddered and her nails dug into my skin.
“Eddie…” She moaned; I nearly fell to pieces at the sound of my name on her lips.
I continued to push into her slowly like that for a few minutes until I bottomed out in her, both of us groaning in pleasure as I filled her up. I hesitated for a moment to press a shaky kiss to her lips, letting myself come back from the edge a little before I started pumping in and out of her. She grabbed onto my shoulders to steady herself, her nails leaving deep marks on my sensitive skin.
“Are you okay?” I groaned, biting down on my fist as she gasped, trying to not to finish as the sensations overwhelmed me.
She looked so fucking sexy as she creased her eyebrows and caught her bottom lip between her teeth, looking down at our bodies connecting as each movement made us both moan in pleasure. Her eyes flicked back up to mine as she nodded.
As my pleasure threatened to spill over, I slipped my hand back to her clit and started rubbing soft circles there, hurtling her towards the edge as well, building faster with each thrust I pushed into her. I couldn’t hold back the ecstatic feelings pulsing through me, she was too irresistible, but I was nothing if not a gentleman and she was going to finish first. She wrapped her legs around my waist as her body convulsed, my hand keeping up a constant pace as she faltered against me, gasping as I pushed deeper into her.
She buried her face in the crook of my neck, moaning as the peak of her pleasure rolled through her body in waves. I held her tightly as I continued to thrust into her more for a few more moments, bright light blinding me as the most incredible feeling flooded through me. Low groans fell from my mouth as I shuddered and collapsed against her chest. We stayed locked in each other’s embrace for a private moment, our breathing and heartbeats slowing down together. Silence settled around us comfortably before I rolled off of her to the side, I quickly stuffed the condom into the bin next to her side table – reminding myself to get up and empty it for her in the morning – before pulling her head down onto my chest and wrapping my arms around her.
As I sensed her breathing even and felt her soft snores against my cheek, I lifted her sleepy form against my chest, her soft naked torso pressing into me gloriously as I slid my Hellfire t-shirt over her head. Her now dry locks of silky hair framed her sweet face, swaying slightly as her soft breath fanned across her pillow. Just in case Little Henderson busted into her room while we were sleeping, I stood to pull my jeans on to save him the scarring images of seeing me naked, her hand snaked out across the sheets as she felt me leave the mattress.
“Eddie?” She mumbled, squinting into the darkness.
“Right here baby.” She smiled at my pet name, finding my hand and wrapping her fingers around it.
“Stay?” She begged. My heart swelled to twice its normal size and then broke, unable to handle the weight of affection that rushed through me.
“Always.” I whispered back, pressing my lips to her cheek.
