steve is talking about his dream about having a family.

you’re sitting in the front seat, the car ride is silent. steve looked at you and back at the road.

“hey y/n.” steve says making you look at him.

“yeah?” you mumbled. you were still scared about what is happening with vecna and all.

“i know this may sound random but considering this is a house.”

“i always had this dream that i’d have this really really big family i’m talking like five, six kids,” he explains his dream. your eyes widen.

“six?” you gasp he nods.

“yeah, three girls, three boys. and every summer i figured all of us harrington would pack into something like this and just see the country. you know the rockies, grand canyon maybe the yellowstone. end up beachside town in california.”

you smiled at what he said. even tho you and steve just started dating you see yourself having a family with him and you never felt that way with anyone else.

“that sounds nice.” you respond.

he looks at you and smiles.

“yeah?” he ask looking back to the road

“yeah, you know i’ve always wanted kids, except for six that sounds like living hell.” you said.

“if only i had some practice.” he mutters looking back at the kids sitting down in the back. you remember steve has always been the babysitter.

“all right, i give you credit for that.” you laugh and he smiles. out of no where your brother dustin pops up behind you and says.

“am i gonna be an uncle soon?”

Notes: A little, like really little different then the plot. Also the reader is more feminine but doesn’t use any pronouns. If I messes up please tell me! Also I’ve been looking for Dustin x reader fics but there isn’t really any. How sad :(

Warnings: Kissing.

It wasn’t hard for Dustin to fall in love with your kisses, in fact it was the easiest thing he’d even done. The fact someone loves him enough and kisses him, that was enough of a reason. But it was you the sweetie and cutest person alive, his special person.

But the fact you always had flavored lipgloss on made him more excited to kiss you, always wanting to know what you had on. It was like if you had everything on the world but with a cherry on top.

Every time he kissed you he would get a taste of what flavor you had on your lips and his heart flutter each time, a big giddy grin always in his face.

Dustin watched as you came out your class door with the prettiest pink outfit he’s ever seen. You looked amazing and pretty, looks were something Dustin didn’t really care about but here you are. A angel in real life.

You giggled at something one of your friends said before walking the other away. You ignored all the looked and gazes thrown your way, you were popular and everyone wanted you. But you had Dustin, he was the only one you wanted.

“Sweetie” Your eyes widen at the sight of your boyfriend waiting for you, he smiled back and waved.

You walked faster to get to him and once you did you wrapped him in a tight hug. “I missed you” He said while hugging you back.

You chuckled and pulled away slightly but his hands never leaving your waist. “We just saw each other like two hours ago” The way your eyelashes batted at him, he couldn’t stop the way his heart fluttered.

“Every minute without you is torture” He tried to sound as romantic as possible like he was in a romantic book. You put your hands on both of his cheeks and squeeze a bit.

“How romantic” You leaned in and pressed your lips onto his. You heard him let out a small happy noise as he pulled you closer.

His lips worked fast to get the lipstick flavor and he realized it was his favorite combination, strawberry and coke mixed. His smile only grew larger at the taste and your kisses.

You pulled away after a few more seconds enjoying kissing your boyfriend. You noticed the happy look on his face, like he just got every D&D thing out there, he was always so happy after he kissed you. It was sweet but you wanted to know why he was so happy, in detail.

“Dusty,” you question while looking into his eyes, he didn’t drop his smile. “Yessss” he said in a singing voice.

“Why do you always look so happy when we kiss? I mean it’s not a bad thing but it’s the happiest I ever see you” His cheeks burn a deep red while he looked away, taking a deep breath.

“While I-, I just umm” he stutters and you could tell he was super flustered and embarrassed. You kisses his cheek to make him not worry so much.

“Don’t be embarrassed, hun. I think it’s cute.” he eyes find its way back to you. He sighed deeply and started his rant.

“Well I just like your kisses so much because it reminds me that you care for me. But you always have flavored lipgloss and it just tastes so good and it’s always different. I just really really like it- Is that weird? Oh my god I’m a total weirdo, I’m so sorry” He continue to rant about how sorry he was but you just stared at him amused.

“Baby, chill” you press your hands to his chest and stopped him, you enjoy him being flustered and all but you needed to reassure him.

“It’s not weird, I promise. I love the flavors too. I wear the flavors I know you like all the time, so i would be disappointed if you didn’t it like. But now I know you really really like it I’ll kiss you more often” His eyes widen a bit but then a cocky smirk found his face again.

“Really?” You nodded and he chuckled at the thought of more kisses.

“I’ll take more kisses” He leaned in again and pushed his lips to yours. You had a grin matching his, you loved your goofy boyfriend.

You guys got yelled at by a teacher for kissing in the hallway but you didn’t care, you just moved to a different hallway.

totally not rewatching star wars and taking notes on jokes Steve and Dustin would make. definitely not writing down comments they'd make and how they'd relate themselves to characters.

Dustin definitely doesn't read out subtitles to Steve while he has a concussion and struggles with words on a screen. And he definitely didn't pick up saying 'buddy' because Han does

Ugh... Where is he...?

"Shit! He's waking up" wha...?

"Dude, be careful!"... Dustin?

"I am!"- and... Steve?

... Wait, they're not dead, are they?

His eyes slowly fluttered open, seeing two familiar faces on not so familiar background. "Eddie! Oh shit, you're actually alive!" yelled Dustin gripping his clawed hand- wait, clawed? Since when does Eddie have claws?

.

He tries to look around, but the pain on his sides stops him from moving, making Eddie only hiss in pain. The hiss coming a little bit different than how a normal human would hiss...

.

"Bro, everyone thought you were dead! What happened? And... Why do you look like... That?" Asked Steve making a little step away from the bed- Oh, yes, he was laying on a bed, but... where exacly?

"Whrrr...-" Eddie started but stopped quickly, not recognising his own voice. It was hoarse and inhuman.

His throat felt like it could burn just from trying to form normal words. Eddie immadietly straightened up forgetting the horrible pain. He tried once again; "Hrrr- Grhhh-", but nothing came out beside loud grunts.

"...Steve... Is he...ok?" Dustin whispered, his voice was trembling a little and just like his older friend, took a step away from Eddies sitting form. "I-I don't know... Eddie, do you remember us? Do you know what happened after you were bitten by these... Demo-bats?"

Eddie looked at them- "Eddie, do you know who we are?" Sighted calmly then repeated Steve. Their sitting friend nodded his head.

"Okay, that's great. Do you know what happened after demo-bats had bitten you?"

Eddie thought but nothing came to his mind. His head moved to right, then left.

"No... Okay, now, I know you're probably wondering where you are, so uh... After you "died" we were thinking and Robin gave us an idea, that when people get bitten by an animal, there's always that chance it has rabies. And you know Vecna, right? He spent soo much time being in the Upside Down, and look how he turned out- alive but uh... Modified? Yeah, and so, we were kinda curious what state you were in, and hoped that we can find you alive... And here we are. Back in your old place." Explained quickly Dustin. Steve elbowed him."Ouch! What was that for?!" Yelped young Henderson. "Dude, you made it sound like we're some kind od necromans!" Complained Steve. "But-" started Dustin. "No buts. We have bigger problem. Eddie can't speak. Even if he remembered how is he still alive, there's no way he could tell us." Steve's boots made a soft thumping noise as he walked around the room, thinking. "Maybe he could write?" Proposed Dustin. "He can't just write for the rest of his life!" Hollered Steve showing his arms up in the air and came closer to Dustin. "We have to teach him to speak normally again." With that both of them turned to Eddie.

Weeks, months then a wnole year passed and their task was finally completed- Eddie could speak again, though it was still a little hard for him to do so. Sad thing was, for a year he couldn't step away from his home, due to his not-so-normal apperance.

"Steve... Do you think that maybe we should... Let him go outside? For just a little bit?" asked Dustin, looking at sitting by the window Eddie. "Dude, look at him. He's gonna catch more stares than me in highschool!" Whispered Steve sitting by the kitchen table. "Yeah, but it's not healthy to stay home all day. More so a whole year..." Said concerned Dustin looking at Steve, expecting response. Older male sighted after a while, looked at Dustin, then at Eddie.

He got up,walked slowly to the corridor near the front door and started getting his shoes on. "Alright, but first, we're gonna get him more clothes." Smile immadietly graced Dustin's face.
