i find it so unfair that i cant do all the science. like what do you MEAN I can't study bio and chem and biochem and atrophysics and physics and geology and climate science. what do you MEAN i have a limited lifespan and need to get out of school at some point to get a job. i want to collect the science fields like pokemon, this isn't fair
I have this TAZ Balance modern AU in my head that I'll never write, but that's okay, because there's literally only two things that you need to know about it:
Kravitz and Barry both have graduate degrees
Barry and Kravitz are not using their graduate degrees even a little bit in their current career, which is running a really shitty, scam-adjacent ghost-busting business out of a garage together
“It’s gross if Katara marries Zuko since he’s her colonizer” she overthrew the last Fire Lord to put Zuko on the throne. If anything the Fire Nation would be worried that he’s Katara’s puppet
*screams*
Can't believe I managed to complete 12 pages of something!
But yea this was an idea born from the good!Vlad au I'm coming up with; the idea of "what would need to happen for Vlad to actually make the first move and reach out to Jack and Maddie?"
Engineer: What if we added Art to STEM, so it says STEAM? Like a STEAM ENGINE?
Biologist: but i like stems…
Physicist: Sorry, but STEAM’s got my vote. I approve of all 7(ish?) phases of water. I think.
Computer Scientist: I vote for STEAM too, #PC gaming master race
Set Theorist: I will also vote in favor of increasingly large collections of seemingly unrelated things.
Education Professor: That's all very... dumb. F-. But, I have a pretty good idea on how to use the A so I'll vote for it too!
Biologist: :(
Artist: wtf, why am I here? What kinda nerdy sausage party is this?
Education Professor: (on hands and knees) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE OUR CURRICULUMS LESS BORING I DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP ALL MY STUDENTS FALLING ASLEEP IF THEY CAN'T BE CREATIVE PLEASE

*complaining for no reason again because i am bored* i need more ppl to know that these. are all the same person these are literally canonically all the exact same individual person im begging u
literally almost all the ganondorfs are the exact same individual and almost all the ganons are the exact same individual, almost all the ganondorfs & ganons are the same exact person just in different forms and circumstances. except for FSA and maybe whatever the fuck is going on with TotK ganondorf but i still think it’s weird that he still has golden eyes & rounded ears when even the gerudo in TotK’s ancient past dont, but anyway ashfjsbfjsn
most people try to live their lives in a god honouring way. i am trying to live it in a spock honouring way (and still failing but it's the thought that counts right)
This is a shameless pitch for my field of work but if you like biology and you like coding...consider bioinformatics as a career 👀 Especially if you live in the US, as it's well-known for its bionformatics scene.
I think Danny’s actually incredibly smart, but just has poor time management skills (both by being a teen and also the ghost fighting) but Danny comes from a family of smart people so from his perspective even just being an average kid is already falling behind.
In addition we see he’s actually pretty smart, like in the episode “Teacher of the Year” Danny doesn’t study for a test and fails it, then over the course of about an hour after some major guilt tripping Danny buckles down and studies and manages to get an A (a low A still pretty good for only an hour of work)
Now I’m not actually sure the exact timeline of Danny phantom cause I was under the impression that the entire series took place while Danny was still 14 but it turns out a lot of sources say that the series took place over the course of several years, but in that time I would hope that Danny would hopefully pulling a Buffy the vampire slayer and end up graduating with pretty good grades even if distracted by all the ghost stuff.
Also Danny’s always throwing out one liners and thinks on his feet pretty well so I think when the chips are down, if Danny is genuinely at risk of not being able to go to his dream college during his senior year then I’m sure he’ll be able to force himself to buckle down and study enough to get the good grades he needs.
19.02.24// Long time since I last updated. On the last stretch of my master thesis, trying to write and failing. Battling with code I don’t like. How do people do this? I feel like my motivation is really low
they make a new sonic spinoff thats very explicitly not connected to the games canon and is its own seperate canon what would you want the defining premise to be (ex sonic x theyre on earth sonic prime the shatterverse satam its the freedom fighters etc)
honestly i would give good fucking money for them to explore the lore of the chaos emeralds more. like developing it into something coherent. i presume it would then greatly explore other things established in the games (like the echidnas, babylons, gaia, the ancients), even if it's not 100% canon compliant; but even if they pitch all of that and completely make up their own lore about it i'd probably still be interested. i just want to see a full coherent story over the chaos emeralds and their power and purpose.
thinking again about jo and the master's relationship.... how jo visted the master in prison.... how by "frontier in space" they're literally trapped in a cell together bantering... how jo is absolutely the reason for the master's subsequent obsession with the doctor's companions and deep unacknowledged desire for a companion of their own...

Gonna try and schedule an appointment so I can change my major yet again because being in something I hate/not interested in is making me burnout and more miserable than I thought 😭
