Ariel Ballgown and Updo
This was my treat for the first weekend of Simblreen.
I’ve been rewatching Disney films recently and I saw this dress and fell in love with it’s 1850s/60s Victorian-ness. I made a few tweaks to make it a bit more historically accurate but the hair is just 100% Disney.
@stardustsims4 also made a version of the dress with jewellery which I forgot to use until I’d already taken all the pictures. You can find it here.

Gen 2. Cinderella #20 A Servant's Life
Cinderella, as she was now dubbed by the stepfamily, was now an official teen, with only a few outfits of her own and a maid's dress in which to do her chores.
The family had settled into the Tremaine vineyard, which quite honestly was much larger and lovelier than the Castle Estate.
Every morning, Cinderella got up to do her chores, starting with the chickens and feeding Lucifer.
"Cinderella, where's our breakfast?!"
Madonna: "Are you sick again?? I've taken you to the vet every single day this week."
"I've got clothes for you to wash. It better be done before I get back from school."
Drizella, a self-proclaimed fashionista, was lazy and left her clothes everywhere.
This meant excessive loads of laundry for Cinderella to pick up and wash.
This was the routine every morning... of course, never being allowed to leave the vineyard and with so many chores, Cinderella had dropped out of school.

In the Bramblewood:
Her brother Hayden had invited her to his wedding with Mayra, but clearly, Cinderella wasn't allowed to attend. Shylee, upset that it'd been years, finally plucked up the courage to elope with Brodie.

Gen 2. Cinderella #34 So This Is Love
Ella and Prince Henry danced the night away under the stars.
They were oblivious to the disappointed audience.
Belatedly, Cinderella realized she was nearly out of time before her glamour wore off. She ran off, apologizing to Henry over her shoulder, and leaving behind her shoe in her rush.
While Madonna and Drizella slinked back into the castle, Anastasia decided to take her chance.
Henry didn't even acknowledge Anastasia's proffered gift. Anastasia, embarrassed, ran inside after her family.
Ella and Major rode off into the night, scrambling to get back to the vineyard...
As the doors were all locked, Ella had to climb up the terrace to get back into her attic.
She couldn't believe her luck... though she didn't get to tell her uncle of her plight, her thoughts were overtaken by the charming Prince Henry.
