i find it hard to explain what kanan's death makes me feel, but:
it's just. imagine loving someone so much that you hold back death for them. imagine loving someone so much that you push them away in your final moments. imagine loving someone so much that a supernatural power recognises it and gives you back your sight so you can see your love one last time. imagine loving someone so much that your own death is inevitable and it is because of this inevitability that you can look upon your love once again, because the universe knows that there's no other choice you'd make and so it can grant you this final mercy.
i guess what i'm trying to say is:
imagine loving someone so much that the universe itself recognises your love.

I think it's a shame we didn't get to properly see Kallus' redemption arc. He just disappears after S2E17, and then appears again in S3E4 and he's already Fulcrum. He basically had his own little realization, conflict and defection arc off-screen and we only get to see the result. And that result too is pretty short-lived, since Kallus also lowkey disappears after he officially leaves the Empire and joins the rebels
I would've loved to see Kallus gradually come to realize just how shitty Empire truly is, and just how conflicted that made him feel before deciding to defect. Not to mention how exactly he came to be Fulcrum. Did Ahsoka recruit him? Did he seek the rebels out himself?
Just one more Kallus-centric episode before S3E4 would've been fine. I've read plenty of fics where I get to see it, but I would've wanted canon's take on it.

This was the first time Hera set foot in this room.
The first time she ever saw the story of Caleb Dume was at the end.
The same story that's on her lekku.
And it's...so fitting...while she's sitting here under Caleb's history that she's holding onto her own family history and that she combines them on the kalikori while carrying Jacen.
Life. Death. Rebirth.

Dr Doofensmirtz: If I had a nickel for every time a Star Wars prequel series had a sad man highly skilled and loyal to the empire spend a night in an icy environment with someone and left with his morals changed and primed to join a rebellious family, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

second pic is from the leaked ahsoka lego set with jacen so we know he's probably gonna be in the show, but this is the first time he might be in a clip.
