Rebels crack AU where Ezra and Kanan keep dragging the Ghost Crew on field trips to do mythical Force Stuff TM and on almost every one of these field trips Sabine stumbles over an ancient Mandalorian artifact or completes some rite of passage.
Like, they go to some random moon to commune with an ancient Force deity, and Sabine trips over what at first glance appears to be a rock, but upon further inspection, it turns out to be the kriffing Mask of The Mandalore. Just lying there. In the dirt. The original symbol of Mandalorian Rulership is half buried by sand on some nowhere rock.
Hera decides to go to the local markets on some Outer Rim planet while Kanan and Ezra do some Force nonsense in an abandoned temple and drags Sabine with her. In this run-down antique shop Sabine sees the most famous tapestry of Mandalore the Binder’s life story, one woven by Mandalore the Binder himself.
They go to Jedha to complete a trial for the Guardians of the Whills and because these things seem to take forever, Sabine goes to a restaurant to get lunch. She trips over an old man on her way back to her table with her food, and before she can finish apologizing he just smiles at her and tells her it's alright before walking away. Later, once they are all back on the ship Sabine opens her bag only to realize there's a holocron in it. She gets Ezra to open it and it's Tarre Vizsla's holocron.
They go to Tatooine to fight a Darkside ghost and Sabine gets poisoned by Tuskens. She manages to fight her way into their camp and get the antidote, with minimal help because the only crew member left outside the ancient Darkside vault beside her was Chopper. Later on Sabine talks to her parents about how weird of a day it's been and Ursa's so proud she went through that ancient trial, her many times great-grandmother would be so pleased. (This was my least favorite Tatooine quest in SWTOR).

Angel!Kallus AU
Tumblr media
In this au, Kallus is an "angel"- Aripian, from the Wild Space, hiding his true self from everyone, but needs to use his wings on Bahryn to get him and Zeb to safety
Aripians have bird wings and can hide them in amulets with the usage of a spell- Kallus hides his in his necklace, which you can see him wearing above
I went all in on the detail with this one, discovered a bunch of new things on the art app and managed to inspire myself to write the 2nd chapter, so that was a winner
If anyone's interested how the shirt works, here's the explanation
Tumblr media
The brown spots represent where the wings grow and the shirt is simply cut there, the piece in between can be tucked in like ghe rest or left hanging out
I'm gonna post more art like that the more story I write for that au

CHAPTER 3
CH2//FIRST
Lothwolfwalkers AU Masterpost
I had to rewatch Legacy for this one hhnhhgh this show is so devastating and for what
This is kind of a mini chapter I guess. I was originally gonna include some modified dialogue from that scene but there wasn't really room for it and I decided it wasn't super necessary. There was also gonna be another panel with Kanan, but it wasn't turning out and I decided to just finish and post before I get art block about it.
The next chapter is gonna be at least 5 pages tho, so buckle up for a long wait. Ezra's finally gonna learn he's a wolfwalker!

He's a bit upset
There's a fanfic hidden bellow.
Quick need to know, this a part of my Inquisitor Kanan AU, Kanan is among other things convinced that his crew is dead and when he does come across them he believes they're a force vision and a part of some form of elaborate torture made by the Inquisitors.
Now let's say at some point he got rescued...
Hera lingered in the doorway of Kanan's cabin, a place she had stood countless times since he was taken. Fearful of entering, she hesitated, her unease only amplified by the room now being occupied once again. Kanan sat huddled in a corner, on the frigid ground between his bed and meditation seat. He didn't meet her gaze, his form slouched, elbows resting on his knees, eyes tightly shut. He could have been sleeping.
"What?" His words sliced through the air, icy and detached. Hera swallowed hard, summoning every ounce of courage she possessed, and stepped into the cabin.
"Kanan," she said softly. A flicker of surprise crossed her face as he opened his eyes and met her gaze, if only for a fleeting moment. Immense sadness shimmered within his yellow irises before he shuttered them once more.
"Leave me alone," he whispered, his head sinking low as he clenched his teeth. The urge to rush to him and offer solace tugged at Hera, but she heeded Ahsoka's counsel. They needed time for the Jedi to heal. Instead, she settled herself by the open door.
"Do you know where you are?"
Kanan snorted in response. "Good one."
"You're on the Ghost," Hera said, her brow furrowing. "You're home."
"I don't understand why you all think it's necessary," he muttered, raising his head to fix his gaze on the opposing wall.
"You're with your friends, with me," Hera pressed on. "You're safe."
"Stop it, will you?" Kanan growled, his fists clenching tightly.
"Stop what?" Hera asked, her confusion genuine.
"You can't deceive me again, and you know it," Kanan declared. "You've already made me do what you want, I'm not playing this game anymore."
"Kanan..." Abruptly, he turned, his piercing yellow eyes locking onto her green ones. A shiver coursed through Hera's spine. She never wanted him to regard her with such intensity, as if he yearned for nothing more than to tear her apart.
Hera could feel her heart wrench as Kanan dismissed her. She understood he had endured torment, likes of which she likely wouldn't be able to imagine, nor would she want to.
He spoke of them as if they were a trick of light, a speck of dust in his vision that would disappear if he so much as blinked and spoke to them as if they were someone he despised.
She couldn't bear to see him suffer alone. Not when she still felt responsible for it.
Hera met Kanan's gaze head-on. "Kanan, please, listen to me," she implored, her voice laced with urgency and sincerity and she hoped, kindness in the truth of her words. "I swear to you, you're safe. We're not your enemies. We're your family."
Kanan's brow furrowed, his eyes burning with anger. "You expect me to believe that?" His voice trembled with a mix of fear and frustration. But a sarcastic smirk curled on his lips as he continued. "What's the plan this time? You gonna make me shed a tear for the good old times? Maybe have a heart-to-heart with my padawan? Sorry, but I'm not biting."
Hera's determination hardened as she refused to back down. "I know it's difficult, Kanan. But look at us. Look at me. It's me." she said, her voice unwavering. She extended her arm. "You can tell, Kanan."
Kanan's hands clenched into fists, his knuckles turning white. He was clearly torn between the lies of the Inquisitors and the longing to believe in the safety of his friends. An inner battle raged behind his eyes.
Hera longed to see the blue green color of the tormented gaze...
Kanan slowly reached out to her.
Hera smiled with relief.
Then she felt a tightening pressure wrapping itself around Hera's throat. She gasped for air, her eyes pleading with him.
"Enough!" he bellowed, his voice laced with bitterness and sorrow. His eyes were darting around the room, looking for something or someone. "Show yourself! You've done it! So end it!"
Alarmed by the loud outburst, the rest of the Ghost crew stormed into the cabin. "Hera!" Sabine exclaimed, watching their captain suspended in mid-air.
"Kanan, let her go!" Zeb shouted.
Hera dared a look at the broken jedi and saw him looking straight at her, his face tightened in a mixture of fear, sadness and uncertainty. She attempted to say his name, but all that came out was a choked gasp.
"Kanan!"
Kanan's grip faltered, the anger dissipating as a flicker of recognition ignited within his eyes when Ezra spoke. With backwards stumble, he released Hera, his hand falling to his side. His shoulders slumped, burdened by his inner turmoil.
The three sentients gathered around Hera, helping her sit up. Chopper however rolled towards Kanan and shoving into his leg, spitting out curses in binary. Kanan watched the droid with an empty bewilderment.
"Chopper, stop it!" Hera snapped at the astromech.
Kanan looked at the Twi'lek, wide eyed, tears lining his vision. Clearly fighting with himself, Kanan whispered her name in a very weak voice.
"It's us, mate," Zeb assured him.
Kanan gave him a distracted look, then glanced at Sabine, Ezra, and finally at Chopper, who returned to Hera's side. A tear slid down his cheek, but he quickly wiped it away, looking down, waiting for something.
Hera rose to her feet and took a step towards the jedi, ignoring the warning looks from the others.
She extended her hand towards him a second time.
This time she thought she saw flicker of teal in his eyes as their hands met.

WIP: Turning Point
‘You can’t use your own data cylinders,’ Kanan said.
‘I know.’ Alexsandr dialed back his irritation, and just managed to refrain from rolling his eyes. He hadn’t risen to his current rank in the ISB because he was an idiot. In order to succeed as a double agent, he had remain above suspicion or reproach.
‘How are your hands?’ Kanan lifted both of his and wiggled his fingers. ‘Ever had to pick pockets? You could use someone else’s to throw suspicion on them.’
‘I can teach you a few moves,’ Ezra offered. He buffed his nails on the front of his jacket. ‘I’ve got a few skills, if I say so myself.’ He gave Alexsandr a smug grin, pointing at him with finger guns. ‘And I do say so.’
Alexsandr grunted noncommittally, then brushed past Ezra to toss his empty bottle into the reclamator. He lingered over filling a cup with caf, then turned and propped a hip against the counter, studying Ezra over the rim of his cup. ‘You seem to be missing something,’ he remarked, nearly yawning with apparent boredom.
‘Missing what?’ Ezra’s brows knit as he began to pat his torso. Blaster, holster, utility belt. All where they were supposed to be. His hand closed over the empty air at his right hip.
‘I believe this belongs to you.’ Alexsandr held out a hand. Balanced across his palm was the boy’s lightsaber. Kanan snorted with aborted laughter, and quickly turned it into a spate of coughing.
‘What?’ Ezra spluttered. ‘How…?’
Alexsandr allowed one side of his mouth to curl up. ‘You aren’t the only street rat onboard.’ He picked up Ezra’s lax hand and slapped the lightsaber into it. ‘Coruscant Sector 42SE, Level Two, at your service.’ He fired off a sardonic two-fingered salute.
Zeb snickered and slapped Ezra on the back. ‘Well? Any pointers, oh master of pickpockets?’
Ezra, red-faced, clipped his lightsaber back onto his belt with a little more force than necessary. ‘You should practice on someone wearing an Imperial uniform,’ he muttered.
‘That’s a really good idea. I think there’s one in the storage cupboard that ought to fit you,’ Sabine mused.
‘Wait, why do I have to —?’
‘Because you won’t take it easy on him. And you know all the tricks of the trade, so he’ll have to work harder and smarter to get by you,’ Kanan explained, mustering much more patience than Alexsandr would have.
‘I will, of course, appreciate your expertise.’ Knowledge was knowledge, as far as Alexsandr was concerned. He never dismissed an information source out of hand, simply because it happened to come from a fifteen year old.
Ezra just managed to not scoff with an expletive under his breath. A sudden gleam came into them when a sly grin crossed his face and he gestured at Kanan and Rex. ‘Fine. But you have to practice with them.’
Kanan’s elbow slipped off the edge of the table. ‘Wait, what?’
Ezra deliberately stood next to Alexsandr. ‘C’mon, Kanan. When have you ever seen an Imp as scrawny as me?’
Zeb wheezed with muffled laughter, face buried in his arms.

Random defectors bits that have crossed our mind the past few days:
---
Ezra [17]: Ally, would you still love me if I were a worm??
Kallus: yes. My answer has not changed in eight years.
Ezra: just checking :]
---
Ezra, 7 y/o and just opening up to Kallus: how old are you????
Kallus, internally: [I could tell him what my forged papers say. But I don't want to start this off with lies. He's just starting to trust me.]
Kallus: I am 23.
Ezra: *immediately brings his palms up/looks down at his hands to count*
Kallus: ???
Ezra: you were 16 when I was born!
Kallus, thinking that this is the most adorable thing he's ever seen: I was.
Ezra: I thought that Tua said you were closer to her age?
Kallus: because that's what my file says. It's a secret.
Ezra: a secret? Why?
Kallus: because I had to lie to be allowed to enlist on the academy on coruscant.
Ezra: so everyone thinks you're older than you actually are?
Kallus: most of them. It was harder to keep a secret when I was younger, but as the years go on its less noticeable.
---
Kallus consistently reassuring Ezra, encouraging him. He tells him how great he's doing at something, how quick he learns, how clever he is, highlights his strengths, and soothes his insecurities.
It all encourages Ezra to do more, to be more confident and comfortable. Ezra looks forward to showing Kallus all the things he does, telling him about what he did.
Sometimes it's Ezra seeking Kallus out when he's unsure or feeling dread. Kallus is always so gentle with him and kind. Warm and soft; safe.
---
Morad, near the beginning of getting to know Kallus and trying to figure out how much he can trust him: I've noticed a few things and was wondering if I could ask you a question?
Kallus, finishing up a case before putting the tablet away to continue watching Ezra run and play in the Sumar fields: most certainly, Mr. Sumar.
Morad: you aren't the most patient person and I've heard how you temper can grow shorter.
Kallus: something I'm working on yes, but I assure you, at no point will Ezra be receiving such from me.
Morad: that's what I wanted to ask about. I've also seen how you put much more effort and intention into keeping calm and level headed with Ezra. And I know for quite a few months he wasn't making that easy.
Kallus: Ezra’s entire world as he knew it got turned around and he is only seven. Angry outbursts are the least of what's to be expected.
Morad: even still, some of the best people I know don't always have that type of control over their anger or patience.
Kallus: When I was around Ezra's age, i... *pauses to gage how much he's going to share* was a very difficult child in a difficult situation. I didn't trust anyone and most people had no sympathy for me.
Morad: so you're trying to be who you didn't have?
Kallus: I'm trying to be the one person I did have. There was this miralukan chef from a few levels up. They made consistent efforts to try and gain my trust.
-Morad realizes that Kallus was most probably from the lower levels of coruscant rather than the upper crust.
Kallus: I can't tell you how many times I lashed out at them and fled. I thought they were going to hurt me. But. They kept trying.
-Morad pieces together that Kallus grew up on the streets, but unlike Ephraim, most people weren't kind to him.
Kallus: and eventually, I did trust them enough to accept the food and clothing they brought me. I would follow them sometimes to see where they were going, where they came from. I sought them out and they would help me.
Kallus: it didn't take long after that, they took me in but I was still so temperamental. I still lashed out. But they always kept patient. They never lashed back at me.
Kallus: in fact, it stuck out to me that they never turned their anger to me, their impatience. I've seen them get angry at other people. Yell at them, scream at them, even have physical altercations. But...
Morad: they made it a point to be patient and gentle with you.
Kallus: Yeah. And for the longest time I thought they were just being the kindest person in the universe. But when I met Ezra, it struck me just how young I had been when I was in such a position.
Morad: kids have a way of realigning how you perceive things.
Kallus: that they do.

a/n: my mom's been rewatching the jonas brothers tv show, and the first season is one of my silly little comfort shows, so i've enjoyed joining her for it when i can. a couple weeks ago while watching an episode, i heard the dialogue "what about a guy NOT asking a girl out because he likes her, huh? have you EVER stopped to consider that?" "that makes LITERALLY NO SENSE!" and i couldn't help but think of sabezra, so decided to make a oneshot based on this episode. most of the initial dialogue and actions is pulled from the show directly, but everything past sabine's "i see your point," is kazzy original material because the rest didn't give enough closure for a oneshot.

We Gotta Work This Out
Of all the mindless, idiotic, pointless, senseless, half-brained, dim-witted, bone-headed, just downright stupid things that Ezra had done in the last seven years since Sabine met him, this one was the biggest one.
"If he didn't want me to go out with Tarik, he could've just said something, instead of butting into my social life like that," Sabine thought, fists clenched as she paced around The Ghost, "and if he wanted to be part of my social life, he should just say it."
The past few months, Ezra had let hints of his feelings for her drop on more than one occasion, and she hadn't exactly been subtle about how she felt either. And yet, Ezra hadn't asked her out yet, and Tarik had, so of course, she'd said yes. She couldn't wait around forever just for Ezra to not say anything at all.
It would've been okay if he'd just not told her how he felt. She didn't mind the mixed signals when he even told her it was okay with him if she went out with Tarik.
But then, for whatever reason, Ezra had somehow convinced himself it was a good idea to show up at the restaurant with arm candy of his own— one of the catty Togruta sisters who was more than excited for a "front row seat to the Rebellion's second favorite 'will they/won't they.'"
Sabine's own date had been stupid enough to let them make it a double date— and that stupidity combined with Ezra's own was a recipe for disaster.
Predictably, the romantic evening had fallen apart like a cheap ration bar. It started small, with a few clever and cutting remarks between Sabine and Ezra, but it ended with what would've been a not-so-friendly sparring match, if Am-Lee hadn't defused by asking them to pause so the holo of the moment she took for her gossip chain didn't turn out blurry. But instead of giving Ezra the butt-whooping he deserved, Sabine then took the high ground and told Tarik to take her home immediately.
Unfortunately for both of them, home for Sabine didn't actually get her any further from Ezra, and as soon as he'd dropped off his date and returned to The Ghost, Sabine was waiting for him, arms crossed, not even having taken the time to change out of the dress she'd worn for her date.
"What's up?" Ezra shrugged, using a casual saunter to hide how steamed up he still was.
"'What's up?'" Sabine scoffed, "like you don't know 'what's up?' I don't understand how you could be so conceited, and selfish, and just thoughtless."
"Yeah?" Ezra responded in kind, as though well prepared for her harsh words, "well, you are stuck-up, pretentious, and totally gorgeous."
No insult he could've said would've thrown her off more than that last word.
 "Gorgeous?" Sabine asked.
 "What?" Ezra scowled.
"You just said I was gorgeous," Sabine shook her head.
"I meant adorable," Ezra poorly tried to cover, "so adorable you make me sick!"
"I'm sorry," Sabine said, but by the end of her comment she was almost yelling, generations of Mandalorian rage flowing through her, "but if I'm so 'sickeningly adorable,' then why'd you come to the restaurant tonight?"
Ezra changed the subject, his tone revealing that he was not a fan of that question.
"Well, why did you go out with Tarik?"
"Because he asked me!" Sabine was really yelling now, almost wondering why she'd fallen for someone dumb enough to even ask a question like that. "Isn't that how it works, Ezra? A guy asks out a girl because he likes her?"
"Because if that's how it works," Sabine thought, fist clenched, "then it's quite clear how Ezra feels about me."
"What about a guy not asking out a girl because he likes her, huh?" Ezra retorted, as if it were the most obvious and logical comeback in the galaxy and not a strong contender for dumbest thing he'd ever said. "Have you ever thought about that?"
He walked past her, but she wasn't about to let him leave her before she figured out what his comment was even supposed to mean. She turned around and found he had stopped and turned back as well, and was looking at her.
"What?" she asked, blood still boiling, wondering if she'd get clarification or just further confirmation of his stupidity.
"I don't wanna risk everything you and me don't have together!" Ezra snapped.
"That makes absolutely no sense!" Sabine snapped back.
"Yeah? Well sometimes things don't make sense!"
She tried to argue, but in the heat of the argument, she hadn't noticed the sudden heat of him putting his hand on her neck and pulling her close to him. Before she knew what was happening, their lips made their first meeting, and somehow, it was a beautiful one.
Sabine wasn't sure how to respond to this— holy kriff, it was a kiss, he was kissing her— to this kiss. Her instincts told her to punch him in the gut, but her heart said to pull him closer, because she'd been waiting a long time for this.
But she didn't have a chance to do either before he pulled away, and she breathed out in response a heavy, "oh."
Because as upset as she was at Ezra, he'd just absolutely floored her. As much as she couldn't stand him right now, she'd really enjoyed that. As much as she wanted to claim she never wanted to see him again, she knew what she really wanted was to kiss him again.
Ezra was right. Sometimes things just don't make sense.
"I see your point," she nodded, looking away from him, still trying to process what had just happened, and not needing Ezra's stupid pretty face clouding her judgment.
His kiss was reckless and impulsive and thoughtless and, once again, in true Ezra fashion, a downright stupid thing to do. Was this his idea of telling her how he felt? Or just a cheap attempt at shutting her up?
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw his lips parted in some breathless, awestruck smile, then noticed that his eyes rested on her.
"Why did you do that?" Sabine asked.
"I don't know," Ezra shook his head.
"You do," Sabine turned back to him.
"You're right," Ezra nodded, slowly, "and I think you know too."
Sabine bit her lip and nodded, then shook her head. After all the stupid things he'd done that day, he owed her, at the very least, the explanation they both knew was true.
"I need to hear you say it," she said.
She read the fear in his eyes. He had no way of knowing for sure she felt the same way. He could be risking seven years of friendship on an emotional whim— though, with everything that had already happened that day, it would be hard either way to salvage any semblance of the friendship they'd once had.
He opened his mouth as though to speak, then closed it and shook his head.
"That's what I thought," Sabine thought, shaking her head, turning away from him, walking away from him, "if he can't tell me how he really feels..."
 "I'm in love with you."
Sabine stopped dead in her tracks. Had Ezra really just said what she thought he said?
She turned halfway around, then turned her head a little further to face him, then shook her head in disbelief.
 "What?" she asked.
"I love you," Ezra said, breathing heavily with fear, "that's why I did— all of that. I love you."
Sabine smiled, then bit her lip, then took a couple steps closer to him.
"You really mean that?" she asked.
"Yeah," Ezra said, and his tone and the look in his eyes turned a casual word into a wholehearted declaration of love.
Sabine stepped closer to him, and from the look in his eyes, she knew he had no idea how she'd respond.
Which meant he didn't see it coming at all when she reached for his neck, pulled him closer, and planted her lips back on his. She placed her other hand on his shoulder, and as soon as Ezra realized what was happening, his hands were on her sides.
It was the kind of kiss that made all the years of waiting for it totally worth it. She heard him sigh, and felt his lips curve into a smile, and hers did the same, and it was the best kriffing moment of her life.
They didn't pull their lips away from each other until all of that frustration and rage and anger had sunk away, leaving in their place just a carefree joy at each other's mere presence. Even still, his hands didn't leave her sides, and hers didn't leave his shoulder— though now her other hand had slid up to his face, her thumb now softly stroking the scars on his cheek.
"Now, why did you do that?" Ezra asked, a playful look in his eyes and a smitten smile on his lips.
"I think you know why," Sabine whispered, biting her lip to keep from smiling too much.
"I need to hear you say it," Ezra smiled, and he teasingly brushed his nose against hers.
She sighed, almost like a laugh, and looked deep into his eyes.
"Because I love you too," she whispered.
He smiled shyly, letting go of one hand's grip on her side so he could cradle the back of her neck instead.
She closed her eyes and actually giggled a little, then pressed her forehead lovingly against his.
Maybe he was still downright stupid sometimes— but hey, she was too. Maybe she still had a lot to learn about how love works— but hey, he did too.
And now they could work it out together.

Star Wars Rebels Tangled AU
Hear me out: Ezra grew up alone, living in a tower.
So, for your consideration: an AU where a family band of thieves find a boy trapped in a tower and decide "yeah, we're adopting this kid (who looks suspiciously like the missing prince but I'm sure there's no connection). what's your name kid? Ezra? Great to meet you, Ezra. Wanna go steal something?" and Ezra's like "oh my gosh this is the coolest thing that ever happened to me"

Ok. I seen bodes reaction and seen the three options and I would take either option 2 or 3. Option one I don’t think will work. Oh one more thing. Bode you better hope your daughter knows about the meaning of, “kick your Shebs to the next system.”
Tumblr media
(commission info)
Oops I forgor asks exist. Please accept Bode and Kata in their rebels/survivor outfits pfpvpfb
I think three might be the most fun, so, let's say Bode has himself a chance at redemption.
I'm thinking after Cal's and Bode's duel, right when Cal has lightsaber to Bode's throat and Kata asks her father to listen, he does.
But after what he's done, the Mantis crew doesn't trust Bode, doesn't want him around, but for Kata, they give him a chance.
He's not allowed to leave Tanalorr and he doesn't protest that. He's still not happy about Cal's idea to use the planet for the Path, and he's very likely not fond of the first refugees that come to live with them.
But after a while Bode seemingly accepts the situation, for Kata's sake. But the fear of the Empire still lives on in his mind.
Safe to say he's not very happy when Kata comes home one day to tell him Cal brought a certain rebel cell onto the planet.
